Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Holder Magic
Description: Linked Item Magic is a totally new magical concept that allows you to magically link together various magical items along with their effects. If the effects of the items are connected, then you can merge them together in various combinations, creating new effects. For example, you can merge the effects of Earth and Fire Staff in order to get Lava type effect.
Obviously, Linked Item Magic has its name because of the fact, that all Five Staffs of Elementium are magically connected with each other and with the user himself, in order for him/her to control better the items and the outcome of their merged effects.
As interesting as it may be, but all wizards at D-Rank start their journey through magic with only two staffs. As you grow up in rank, so does the number of staffs you may possess. At B-Rank you can possess another staff, making it in total three staffs. At A-Rank - totally, four staffs, and at S-Rank you can possess all Five Staffs of Elementium. Which staffs you may possess, depends upon each wizard individually, but Lionhorse, at present time, is using a Staff of Lucis and a Staff of Aeris.
It is also important for you to know, that effect merging ability at D-Rank is not invoked within a wizard, therefore he/she can't merge the effects of the staffs yet. It becomes possible at C-Rank and higher. At D-Rank the wizard can use the effects of the staffs singly.
Strengths:
- Through this magic you can link together not only staffs with elemental properties, but also other magical items that have elemental properties, like Five Staffs of Elementium does - that's just in case if there is someone else who would like to use this magic, but with different items!!!
- With this magic it is possible to create many new spells of different types by combining the abilities of the Staffs.
Weaknesses:
- Five Staffs of Elementium must always be with the caster; if for some reason one of the staffs is broken, it is not possible to cast spells that needs that certain staff.
- If one of the staffs is broken, it is not possible to repair it, and you must make it anew with Purifying Magic. It deals with linking and merging of the connections in details, and through those means it is possible to create new magical items (see Purifying Magic).
- The greater is the distance between caster and staff, the less powerful magic will be:
- if the distance between one and the other is 3 meters, all spells become weaker by 1 rank;
- if the distance is 5 meters, all spells become weaker by 2 ranks;
- if the distance is 7 meters, it is not possible to cast spells at all.
Abilities/Powers: Each staff grants the user abilities that can be used single or combined together via Linked Item Magic.
All Staffs of Elementium is the same size - 180 cm long and 25 mm thick, and is integral part of Linked Item Magic.
- Staff of Terraris:
- Staff of Terraris, or also called Earth Staff, is a staff made out of a metal and rock. The upper part of the staff is decorated with ornaments, runes and a face of a bearded man that looks like a dwarf's face, but staff's lower part is decorated only with ornaments. Both parts are made out of metal-rock alloy, but the middle part is made out of a single pole of metal, that connects both parts.
- Staff of Terraris is responsible for earth type effects and, like in Shinigami's magic, is carried attached to the caster's back, just like other four staffs.
- The Staff of Terraris is immune to acid and earth type attacks, not only because of magical reasons, but also because of the fact that, practically, the whole staff is an alloy of metal and rock, therefore it can not be broken by earth or melted by acid so easily.
- The Staff of Terraris is heavy and reduces the speed of the caster by:
50%, if you are a D-Rank wizard;
C-Rank: 40%;
B-Rank: 30%;
A-Rank: 20%;
S-Rank: 10%.- Picture of the Staff:
- Staff of Flammaris:
- Staff of Flammaris, or also called Flame Staff, is a staff made out of wood, but with separate metallic elements. The upper part of the staff has a golden cap that at its base starts with flame like figures in which are encrusted two rubies, followed by the star, two moons, and at the very top - a figure of an angel that holds in its hands the same red ruby, but bigger in size then previous two. When staff is activated, flames come forth from the ruby in a shape of a wings to complete angel's figure. At the lower part of the staff there is cap that is also made out of gold, and at its base starts with a winged star, in its center is a ruby, but after the star comes forth wine like, ascending ornaments. The staff's middle part is made out of hardwood that is colored in blue color with golden, intertwining stripes.
- Staff of Flammaris is responsible for fire type effects and is carried attached to the caster's back.
- The Staff of Flammaris is immune to fire type attacks and can not be broken by fire.
- When the staff is activated, in its upper part appears a flame that can be used as a torch or as a source fire and heat.
- The Staff of Flammaris is weak against ice type attacks - if encountered an ice type attack, power of all fire spells become weakened by:
50%, if you are a D-Rank wizard;
C-Rank: 40%;
B-Rank: 30%;
A-Rank: 20%;
S-Rank: 10%.- Picture of the Staff:
- Staff of Aquaris:
- Staff of Aquaris, or also called Aquatic Staff, is a staff made out of wood and metal. The upper part of the staff has a bronze cap that at its base starts with a gemstone of unknown origin, followed by another gemstone with ornaments, two moons, where are encrusted two blue sapphires in each moon, and at the very top is a figure of a star, where are encrusted two more gemstones. At the lower part of the staff there is cap that is also made out of bronze, and its base starts with a moon that is turned upside down, and in its shape are encrusted two sapphires. The staff's middle part is made out of wood that is shaped in a spiral, and there are two flower ornaments in equal distance between one another.
- Staff of Aquaris is responsible for water type effects and is carried attached to the caster's back.
- - The Staff of Aquaris is immune to lightning type attacks and can not be broken by lightning.
- When you encounter a very powerful enemy, the staff can warn you about the danger by getting out of order.
- Sometimes, when you encounter a very powerful enemy, Staff of Aquaris becomes so cold that it is not possible to touch it, therefore it is not possible to use it for some time that can be calculated by the following formula: (enemy's Power Level - your' Power level) : 100 = the result you get in posts. The staff acknowledges the enemy as very powerful, if his/hers rank is two ranks higher than yours. For example, I'm a D-Rank wizard and my Power Level is 100, as it is written in the rules. My enemy is an A-Rank wizard, and his Power Level is 800. (800 - 100):100 = 7 posts, so, only after 7 posts (total posts of the thread) I'll be able to use the staff.- Picture of the Staff:
- Staff of Aeris:
- Staff of Aeris, or also called Air Staff, in comparison to other four staffs, looks very simple. A staff is made out of a wood, but with separate, simple metallic elements. The upper part of the staff has a bronze cap that is shaped in a form of a bird that is unfolding its wings sideways. At the lower part of the staff there is simple cap that is also made out of bronze, and ends with a flat ending. The staff's middle part is made out of wood and colored in sky blue color.
- Staff of Aeris is responsible for air type effects and is carried attached to the caster's back.
- The Staff of Aeris is immune to acid, ice and wind/air type attacks, therefore it can not be broken by stated elements.
- The Staff of Aeris is weak against fire type attacks - if encountered a fire type attack, power of all wind/air spells become weakened by:
50%, if you are a D-Rank wizard;
C-Rank: 40%;
B-Rank: 30%;
A-Rank: 20%;
S-Rank: 10%.- Picture of the Staff:
- Staff of Lucis:
- Staff of Lucis, or also called Light Staff, is a staff made out of wood and metal. The upper part of the staff has a golden cap that at its base starts with a phoenix tail ornament where are encrusted rubies, followed by a winged star, where at the star's center is encrusted another ruby. At the lower part of the staff there is cap that is also made out of gold, and its base starts as a small spear. The staff's middle part is made out of hardwood that is colored in red color.
- Staff of Lucis is responsible for light/holy type effects and usually is carried in caster's hand, although the caster can carry in his hand one of the other four staffs as well.
- The Staff of Lucis is immune to light and holy type attacks, therefore it can not be broken by stated elements.
- The Staff of Lucis is weak against draining type attacks - if encountered a draining type attack, power of all light/holy spells become weakened by:
50%, if you are a D-Rank wizard;
C-Rank: 40%;
B-Rank: 30%;
A-Rank: 20%;
S-Rank: 10%.- Picture of the Staff:
- There is one weakness for all five staffs – they all can be broken by dispell magic, if it is at least two ranks higher than the user of the staffs (that is one of the reasons why Staff of Aquaris goes out of order).
- D-Rank spells:
- Cloud Walking (Air):
- Name: Cloud Walking
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Air
Description: With this spell you can tread on air or fog not more than 50 cm above the ground as though on solid ground. The spell functions continuously but can be negated or resumed at will.
To cast a spell, put your hands together as in a prayer and say the incantation. Hand posture signifies your ascension above the ground. After incantation is done, a yellow circle of magic will appear beneath you and then disappear, taking you 20 cm above the ground, so, you can choose whether to ascend higher or lower. In the end you get a hovering effect because of which this spell also increases your movement speed up to 40 km/h.
Strengths:
- Allows you to avoid attacks that comes from beneath the ground, by the ground (like fire field or something like that) or if opponent's target are your legs.
- You can better avoid attacks in general (2 dodge rolls), because your movement speed can be increased up to 40 km/h.
- The effect can be dismissed at will - it can be dismissed even if the duration of the spell haven't expired yet.
Weaknesses:
- This spell can be cast only, if you have a Staff of Aeris.
- The spell works only for the caster.
- If someone suddenly depress the ground below the caster, while he/she is floating, for example, like creating a giant hole, then a caster will fall into the hole, because, technically, he/she will be more than 50 cm above the ground.
- Another weakness is that caster leave him/herself even more vulnerable to higher-ranked air attacks and also because of levitation, caster's grip on the ground and hence resistance to force, is much smaller, thus the caster is more vulnerable to knock-backs or being grabbed out of the air.

- Vanish (Air):
- Name: Vanish
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Air
Description: This spell makes an object(s) become as invisible as air. This spell is commonly used to hide things, like books or precious jewelry. Generally, objects of large and smaller size (max. size: 2 m x 2 m x 2 m) can be affected.
To cast this spell, take the Staff of Aeris in both hands in front of you, and say the incantation. During that beneath you will appear a circle of magic in yellow color, from which will fly out a small breathe of wind, and wrap around the Staff. After that the circle will disappear, but you must touch the object with your Staff. Then the breathe will go down from the Staff to the object and will make it invisible. Of course, after some short period of time, the object will revert back to visible.
Strengths:

Weaknesses:
- This spell can be cast only, if you have a Staff of Aeris in your hands.
- Short duration time.
- In order to make things invisible, you must touch them.

- Daylight (Light/Holy):
- Name: Daylight
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Light/Holy
Description: To cast this spell, you must take a Staff of Lucis in your hand and say the incantation. During the incantation phase, a glowing golden circle of magic will appear around the top of the staff and then disappear. Since then a top of the staff will shed light as bright as full daylight in a 18 meters radius, and dim light for an additional 18 meters beyond that. Creatures that take penalties in bright light also take them while within the radius of this magical light. Despite its name, this spell is not the equivalent of daylight for the purposes of creatures that are damaged or destroyed by bright light (such as vampires). Daylight brought into an area of magical darkness (or vice versa) is temporarily negated, so that the otherwise prevailing light conditions exist in the overlapping areas of effect. Daylight counters or dispels any environmental darkness spell of equal or lower rank can - those spells that steal away environmental light or dispel light producing spells.
Strengths:
- Allows you to dispel D-Rank darkness effects.
- More efficiently allows you to see things around yourself, than Staff of Flammaris, in dark areas, such as caves and caverns.
- The effect can be dismissed at will - it can be dismissed even if the duration of the spell haven't expired yet.
Weaknesses:
- This spell can be cast only, if you have a Staff of Lucis in your hands.
- Can not be used as an attack towards the creatures that are sensible to a real sunlight.

An undead creature and an undead creature particularly vulnerable to bright light, such as a vampire, takes 3 damage rolls. A construct or inanimate object takes 1 damage roll.
To cast a spell, put your hands together as in a prayer and concentrate upon the spell by saying:"You are the little ray of sunDuring that a magic circle of golden color will appear beneath you signifying that you are concentrating upon the spell. When incantation has been recited, stretch out your hand, with opened palm, towards desired direction and say the name of the spell, simultaneously.
