Job Title: It's Full of Stars
Rank: A
Job Location: Magnolia
Solo Word Count: 7000
Group Word Count: 14,000
Additional Requirements: Requires both Arcadia Fairchilde and Nessa Cordelia Lux to complete
Job Description: When Arcadia learns the devastating truth about how her magic affects her mentor and adopted big sister, Nessa. The very thing that gives the young slayer her strength, saps it from the Starlight Maiden. The only way she can help the closest member of her third family when it really counts is not to help or to help from afar.
This is not a reality she is prepared to accept. Khione Glacier proved once again to be watching out for her foster daughter from beyond the grave, as the devastating revelation also helps Arcadia make sense of dreams she's had over a few previous nights. In them, her foster mother came to visit and pointed the way to the stars. In it, Khione Glacier flew Arcadia up to the stars, where Nessa and her Valkyries waited in constellation form. The constellation of Valkyries pointed the way to the brightest, glittering star Arcadia had ever see. the Silver Star of Odin.. Khione Glacier would come to a hover and point toward the glittering star as well with the simple phrase, 'You're troubles will end at the stars'.
That is where the adventure starts, Arcadia deciding this cryptic message from foster mother meant that to end her trouble of being a potential danger to her new big sister, she would need Nessa and the Valkyries help to find where the stars shine in Valhalla. A land known to be in perpetual sunset/sunrise.
Enemies: The wilds of Valhalla hold both unmatched beauty and danger. The chief danger is simply getting forever lost. Care must be taken to avoid becoming disoriented. A lack of a day/night cycle makes it difficult to know which direction is which without a guide or magical aid. This is the only danger that is unavoidable.
The other potential enemies are all up to the discretion of the players. Three they are more likely to run into than other encounters, if any, are three wolves. Searching for where the stars shine in Valhalla could bring them into contact with Sköll (Strong) , a warg known to chase the sun, his brother Hati (Strong), known to chase the moon, or Fenrir (Boss), the father of both Sköll and Hati. Combat is not the only way to deal with them, if they show up .
.
Reward: 75,000 Jewel or Strong+ Item, player's choice from the excess mana that falls from taking the Silver Star of Odin from the sky. The mana will shape itself into either the jewel or the item depending the player's wishes upon returning to Earthland from Valhalla.
