Mythal's Meager Means

Serilda Sinclair is duchess of Clover Town and a newly christened Field Marshall of the Rune Knights. Mythal and Serilda met by mere circumstance -- a pairing of two guilds to do a job. He followed Mythal into Kingdom Darkness and nearly perished due to its toxicity but Mythal managed to save him by transferring the pup some of his Slayer magic. Essentially a half God Slayer now, Gren hasn't changed even the slightest bit in his energy.

Gren Ragnos is Mythal's adoptive father, a former Rune Knight. He helped with the assault that saved Mythal while he was still a baby and took the child into his care. He raised the boy as best he could until an unfortunate accident when Mythal was sixteen seemed to have claimed his life. Now almost twenty years later, he has reappeared, having been revived by some Mysterious organization and employed by them.

Branwen Armstrong is a former major of the Rune Knights and essentially is Mythal's uncle. Though he hadn't been in Mythal's life for over twenty years, he still harbors caring feelings for the man as his nephew. After the attack on Era nearly wiped out the Rune Knights, Branwen opted to retire and let a new wave of Knights come in to do better than they had.

Nessa was Mythal's assigned mentor in Fairy Tail, much to the man's chagrin. But after spending a voyage with her across several other nations, her infectious positivity and charm began to wear on him in a positive manner. It is because of Nessa that Mythal's hard exterior began to crack and she quickly became an important person in his life, a sister in a way. He cherishes the younger woman dearly as one of his closest friends.

Markus was a fellow wizard in Fairy Tail and, even more odd, a Fallen God Slayer as well. Mythal immediately bonded with the Chaos Mage, as he was similar to Mythal in his mannerisms and social abilities. As Mythal began to come out of his shell, he still considered Markus a good friend and sought his company whenever he could. Markus sealed himself as one of Mythal's closest friends during an event around Christmas time, where they had to battle Santa Claus and several of his minions.

Grappa and Jellisha are two Exceed girls, contained in an egg in the Rune Knight headquarters for an uncertain amount of time. Mythal and Serilda discovered the egg and accidentally caused it to hatch, bringing forth the Exceeds. As they were the ones responsible for bringing them into the world, Mythal and Serilda took ownership of helping the girls to learn about the world. Eventually they developed a parental relationship with the two Exceeds.

Faera is the Absolute Divine of Love, who selflessly offered herself to stand guard over Kingdom Darkness. But during her time within the dark realm, it began to corrupt her and turn her wicked. Now she wishes to wipe the worlds of light out and replace it with her own world, spreading her kingdom across all realities. She is the one that was instrumental in bringing Archimedes and Jihl together to breed her perfect host, Mythal. After Mythal invaded her realm and him and Serilda defeated Archimedes, she has been biding her time and planning her next move carefully.

Archimedes was Faera's Trumpet of Despair, one of the four archangels of her court. A cold, calculating but joyful man, he took great delight in deception and mischief when he could cause it. After the failure of transferring Faera into Mythal, they attempted to create another host with Vriko to no avail. He went out of his way to trick Mythal into coming to Kingdom Darkness, so to claim him for Faera and their purpose again. He betrayed Vriko and ordered her killed but when he returned to Kingdom Darkness with Mythal, he was swiftly and brutally beaten by Serilda and Mythal. He was stripped of his divinity by Serilda and Faera cast him out, leaving him to die in the mortal world. But it seems something has gone out of its way to save him and grant him even more power...

Ruzatz is the Prime Sin of Lust, the highest tier and title a demon can earn in the demonic circle. Unlike other demons that wish the worst on the world and humanity, Ruzatz genuinely enjoys the human world and its occupants. He's gone out of his way several times to help people, including both Serilda and Mythal. He runs the Lusty Titan guild out of Hosenka with his wife, Agatha -- a human. He is the supernatural opposite of Faera, utilizing darkness magic as well.

Agatha is a famous white mage and entertainer. Her background, specifically how she met up with Ruzatz and married him, is a mystery at the moment but it is believed that she is also his vassal, the Hand of Lust. She is a kind and caring individual who whole-heartedly wishes to help anyone that needs it.

Serilda's Star Wolf and the first one that Mythal ever saw. The hound is a smart, trained pet and companion, who is a perfect reflection of her master, Serilda. Mythal took a liking to the Star Wolf immediately and through several circumstances, they have formed a bond almost as strong as the master and the God Slayer. She is also Gren's older sister, displaying a stoic demeanor against his often playful one. But when she can let loose, she loves to run and play like any other dog.

Susano is a Demi-God of Thunder and Storms, a former wizard champion from long ago. During the trial of the Tower, Susano was entrapped by the mysterious structure and claimed as its champion. When Mythal came and took on the trials, he defeated Susano and freed him from his curse. As a gift for his victory, Susano offered to accompany Mythal into the world and learn more about the realm he had long left.

Lux is the Seal of Light, one of the eight Seals of the Apocalypse. His abrasive and confident attitude is only surpassed by his dislike of mortals and the world they occupy. He is a constant pain in Mythal's side, more willing to give the God Slayer grief than to offer any helpful insight. He often references his desire to occupy Mythal's body and use it for nefarious deeds.

The Seal of Conquest, Victoria was the first Seal to be conceived. Much like her brother, Victoria is quite confident in her abilities, nearly to a fault. She also harbors disgust for those that can't hold their own, believing victory lies only in those that are strong. She currently resides in Serilda, providing about as much help as Lux does for Mythal.

Dakvid Bascomb is a corporal within the Rune Knights. Mythal first met the man during his training, clearly unimpressed by the Knight's practices. After Mythal knocked some sense into him, he became far more dedicated to the cause. Mythal and Dakvid have run into one another several times until Era, where Dakvid suffered grievous injuries at the hands of the dark wizard guild. He has recovered and had his arm replaced but his attitude has been hardened because of it.

Mythal discovered this side of him when he was in Kingdom Darkness. An echo deep within his soul, his Shadow helped him take control of the magic of Kingdom Darkness and make it his own. This also seemed to empower the other side, allowing him the ability to forcibly take over Mythal during the battle in Vintermyr. He is much harsher and wilder than Mythal, willingly destroying the city and nearly killing all of its citizens for the sole purpose of destroying Victoria.
