The plans had been made.
In their post-catastrophe travels, wandering guildless and attempting to get their heads straight, the two young souls happened across something interesting. Theo was always one to find the best places. It was his passion, after all. Seeking out lost locations, snooping out treasures, the thrill of discovery...all of these were satisfied when they came to the base of some beautiful waterfalls. The mermaids there were friendly and helpful, familiar with humans from the town ahead. Said town was friendly enough. It was called Timbermere Valley. While it had it's own charms, Theo's eyes were set on grander things. His eyes wouldn't leave the mountain that rose at the edge of the town, its peak hidden in the low clouds. It had all the markings of housing something amazing at the type, and if he was wrong, at least the view would be unmatched. After staying the night, he vowed to scale the earthen behemoth to see what it held.
Theo's hunch paid off big time. After a long and difficult climb, they fought their way through the cloud later to the peak. Aurora borealis rewarded their long journey, reflecting off the tops of the clouds...and off a shimmering castle to dwarf all castles. Finishing the climb at the golden gate, the two wasted no time getting inside. It seemed abandoned, but in impeccable condition. How something gilded in gold and expensive as all get out could lie untouched was a mystery...until the guardian arrived.
A majestic unicorn appeared inside the castle grounds, regally shaking its head in warning. Long story short, it instantly loved Rin and approved of her entry into its domain, but in the opposite way instantly adopted a vehement hatred of Theo. At least while the creature chased Theo around in attempts to stomp, stab, and eject the man from the premises, Rin got a good look around. The icy eyed jello mage eventually eluded it, dubbing it Murphy and holding no ill will toward the protective equine. Standing in a great golden hall, the lovers decided this would be the best place to start new. To create a guild from the rubble, a safe haven for those like them, those whom had made mistakes but were trying their best to become saviors to those in need. Those that deserve to overcome injustices and provide justice themselves.
Days later, Theo returned to Timbermere Valley with iLac in hand. He knew just who to call to invite to the new guild, freshly dubbed Aurora. The tavern he'd already come to favor was the building built highest on the mountain side, sporting the best view of the entire town as well as the Ivory Cascades in the distance. One by one he called the recruits from his old guild, giving instructions of where to meet him in excited and animated tones. Hopefully they'd all come!
