Sabertooth was once a guild that was the representation of the virtues of conviction, selflessness and Faith however the guild’s role has been heavily altered due to the surprise attack by a group of exiled deities known as the elders. Their attempt to reemerge into the realm in which Fiore sat in required them to destroy the Sabertooth guild hall as well as the town that had been built below it. With the help of the mysterious Nicklaus Flamell, a counter offensive was mounted on the four elders responsible. As a gift, Nicklaus gave the survivors of Sabertooth a means to create a new guild hall in the very realm that the elders were banished but the gift was also a curse for the new guild hall was a born Yggdrasil or world tree that had once been used to connect Fiore to other realms and thus did so again but the cost was indeed high. With the sudden reconnection of the realms great opportunity was granted to Sabertooth but the possibility of new invader from other realms was a concern not to take likely and so the first and foremost priority is to protect the Realm of Fiore from forces beyond their world. Sabertooth is now the Shield and Screen that Guards the Realms.
The Ace of Spades Welcome to the Sabertooth Guild Hall, or perhaps 'Guild Halls' is a more appropriate term. The first hall that is located on the ground level has been refurbished and turned into the castle
Château Sabertooth, along with an entire town around it - all in one named the 'Ace of Spades', for the benefits of the guild members. The interior of the castle has been converted into a ballroom, or a hall for events. The empty mountains and desert that surrounded the guild have been completely turned into a brand new metropolis housing clusters of high-rise buildings and homes for ordinary citizens. Visitors and guests alike are welcome to enjoy the private town Sabertooth had created.
In the center of the ballroom is the all-too-familiar teleportation lacrima that once lead to the main guild hall 2200 meters in the sky, no longer stands within, nor does the Sky Palace once so iconic to the small city. With the coming of Yggdrasil and making it Sabertooth’s new base of operations, each member has been given the ability to rip space apart and create a portal towards the realm in which their guild resides, making it impossible for unneeded guests to enter without warning. As such, if one desires to enter the main guild hall, they are required to be escorted by a member of Sabertooth.
Furthermore a new main point of gathering has been established by Sabertooth, a tavern where its members frequent when not within the guild hall’s realm. This tavern was one of the first to settle within the premises of Ace of Spades, and is one of the largest inn within the city. The building from the outside has a strong-looking façade, and counts four stories in height. Within the stone surface makes way for a welcoming wooden interior; a parquet floor and large carpet greet whoever enters into the main mess hall. At their right a large bar, holding several types of alcoholic beverages attracts the attention, allowing for six to eight people to seat themselves at the counter, which is polished to such degree one can see their reflection within the woodwork. The first and second floor are available for the public and both serve as mess and drinking hall for the weary travellers passing through. The third and fourth floor function as sleeping quarters, for hire to anyone holding the necessary coin, or willing to work in exchange for a temporary roof above their head. In the back, behind doors hidden from public view, lay the quarters solely for those with the Sabertooth emblem; back when the guild had been without abode for its members, the innkeeper had extended these quarters to Ace of Spades’ protectors as a sign of gratitude.
Yggdrasil - The World Tree Yggdrasil, the World Tree, a mythical being not thought to exist within this realm and a mere fantasy. After their ordeals, its might has been gifted to Sabertooth, to act as its new walls, its symbol of power, and as a home to those who call Sabertooth as such. Yggdrasil appears on the outside as a giant tree of immeasurable size, with an in comparison small castle surface grown into its trunk. From close by however even this little castle seems massive, and allows access to the true prowess of the World Tree, and Sabertooth’s Guild.
Within, unlike one would suggest, a world of stone opens before them; reaching from crude bricks to polished marble depending on where one were to wander. A castle within a tree; the perfect defence, as Yggdrasil doesn’t burn like any other tree does, and cannot be destroyed by mortal nor immortal means within this realm, as Yggdrasil doesn’t reside within the regular worlds and thus does not abide by its laws of nature. In order to reach Yggdrasil on has to find access to its realm; how others may enter is yet unknown, but those bearing the Sabertooth Sigil are allowed free access and can open portals wherever and whenever they want.
The guild within Yggdrasil is made of two major sections, the inner and outer rings. The outer rings are accessible by anyone, and allow one to roam through all levels of the World Tree with ease, from visiting the mess hall, to the training areas and the private quarters. The inner rings however harbor a more dark secret, which is unknown to anyone not part of Sabertooth; the portals to the Nine Worlds have been scattered all over the various, vast levels of Yggdrasil, and has been reinforced with several layers of protective magic to keep safe the secrets they guard. The walls within the inner ring are darker than the outer ring’s, and show scenes of long-lost battles the previous guardians of Yggdrasil, who waged war with those from beyond the portal in order to protect their own worlds. Statues show both the heroes and monstrosities, and every now and then a giant door erects itself from within the walls, allowing access to one of the Halls of the Nine Worlds.
