Ebony strolled through the dense forest floor as she whistled along with her favourite tune. Her ears flooded with the welcoming sound of the Spooky Forest. Birds tweeting, the breeze bristling, the trees singing as Ebony walked passed them. It was a peaceful today, apart from of course the need to find this puppy. She was meeting up with someone new, someone she hadn't met before. All she knew is that she was female and guildless. She hoped she wasn't one of those scary guildless people like the rumours she heard, but she was sure she could handle whoever came with her. She was going to meet this 'anonymous' person at a little shack in the middle of the forest. The aim of the job was easy, find the little lost puppy. Poor thing Ebony thought as she began to imagine all the dire situations the puppy could be in. She frowned and walked onwards, not really sure where she was going. She looked around but saw nothing but the endless sea of green undergrowth. She reached a large Oak Tree that stood high above all the rest. Ebony smiled.
Lightbulb
Ebony quickly grabbed the first tree branch and started heaving herself upwards. She was very quick when it came to climbing trees. Obviously all the trips to the forests when she was little paid off. As she reached the top she could see the faint outline of a little shack in the distance. It must be there she thought to herself as she saw a squirrel jump from a branch to another, only to be picked up by an eagle which rushed of into the sky. "Well then... Circle of Life I suppose" she smiled as she swung down the tree branches until she reached the floor. How she loved the free sensation of the forest. She couldn't understand those people who sat inside all day, not exploring, not daring, not living.
She skipped along the forest floor, taking in every little branch and tree, hoping she could learn from them. There, in the distance stood a girl, Is that her? she thought to herself, carefully hiding behind a tree and sneaking up to her in case it wasn’t her. She looked around, no one else seemed in sight, plus, she was near the shack. The shack seemed a couple of trees away from her. It must have been her. Ebony sighed, all the odds stacked up against her. She came out of her hiding and looked at the girl, ”Excuse me, are you the girl that has to find a lost puppy?” she asked politely examining her.
