He likes spending time around the ones that he knows the best, but the fame he had received from being the leader of one of the most successful Splat Battle teams taught him to put up with many kinds of characters. Garnet doesn’t exactly enjoy being the centre of attention, but, again, he had to put up with it. Having been thrown into this strange new world, he enjoys not being recognised at every corner, but the certain pride that he has on the inside yearns for the recognition that he is not getting anymore. Garnet has worked up his way up the Splat Battle leaderboards the hard way and he is not afraid to accept a challenge when one is thrown his way. He likes to pass the time by surfing the web on his squid shaped phone and loves listening to music, especially his favourite band – Bottom Feeders. He usually hung out until late at night at various nightly hotspots in the city of Inkopolis and later on he was joined by the rest of his team, especially when they were celebrating a recent victory.

When facing a battle, Garnet is somebody whom one would consider a ‚natural born leader‘. His demeanor changes into a serious one and is able to keep his focus in the most thick of things. Garnet was appointed the leader of the team that he and his brother created. He was the one who came up with the strategies that he then shared with the rest of the team, having trust in them that they would execute it with precision. And in turn, his team had trust in Garnet to come up with a strategy that would win them the match they were preparing for. Garnet called the shots from the information that he collected himself and what his teammates yelled back at him. Trust in his teammates and vice versa are the main reasons why Garnet and his team made it so far in a relatively short amount of time. Such a quick development made others suspicious of their team, wondering if they haven’t gained all those winnings by ill methods, which infuriated Garnet as the team leader. As an answer to those claims he undertook a challenge along with his team and thoroughly crushed it, making the public stare in awe of their performance, giving them the final mark of being the top of the elite.

As such, he wished to know what the weapons are made of, so he sat down every now and then and fiddled with disassembling and reassembling said weapons.

⍵ Challenges - Most of Garnet's life has been a one huge challenge. He will not back down from one if he is challenged, exeptions would include ones that would disintegrate him.


Dislikes:
⍵ False accusations - This dislike is tied to Garnet's rise as a Splat Battle Champion. He feels that the wide general public is easily swayed into certain thoughts and a lot of times it can backfire, like in his case of being falsely accused of cheating, especially since they had no real proof of him doing so.

⍵ Being forced into things - While Garnet is up for challenges and the like, he reserves a right to decline if he doesn't feel up to it. He doesn't enjoy being forced into doing things against his own will and will retaliate accordingly.

⍵ Being given looks - Garnet is currently very much different from regular folk of Earthland and he isn't particularly fond of people staring at him and following him with their eyes, just because he is different. Before ending up Earthland, however, he was being given looks because of the false accusations that were thrown at him, which he didn't enjoy either.

On one hand, Garnet hopes that his brother dodged the situation Garnet found himself in, but on the other hand he feels sort of lonely and wants the company of his brother once more. Regardless of what exactly happened to Crystal, however, Garnet wants to find him or find proof that he isn't in Earthland, at any cost.

⍵ Learn how to communicate - Even if Garnet is not too thrilled being tossed into this strange new world, he realises that it is quite difficult for him to get around without being able to properly communicate with the rest of the world. As such, he wants to learn how to talk in the languages that can be found in Earthland.

⍵ Build a respawn machine - Garnet has tinkered with weapons before, but he didn't quite get to the Respawn point machine that they used in Splat Battles. Now he is currently unable to create a new body from ink, which he wants to rectify as soon as he can. But he is very well aware that he will need outside help for that, as he is unfamiliar with Earthland's materials.


Fears:
⍵ Not finding his brother - Naturally, since Garnet wishes to find and see his brother again, he is afraid that it will not happen.

⍵ Water - Inkling's bodies are made of ink, which makes them extremely susceptible to water, as it basically washes them away, or disintegrates, from the viewing point of an Inkling. Combined with the fact that Garnet has no Respawn point available, water is a really big threat for him. However, he can endure some of the pain when he is taking a shower.

⍵ Being stuck in Earthland forever - Garnet is currenly not too thrilled about being thrown into a new world. For now, he wants to get out, as soon as possible and fears that he will be unable to escape.

⍵ Death - Tied to his fear of water and lack of a Respawn point machine. Now that he is aware that if he gets splatted he will die permanently, he can sometimes even feel a little bit paranoid.

Personality:
Emperor was born in a rich family. This kind of upbringing shaped him into a somewhat arrogant Inkling who has quite a bit of ego. With the name that he was given, Emperor cannot and will not think of himself lower than a king. He can be a bit of a douchebag and abrasive, but it really came with the upbringing. His demeanor is rather stern that radiates respect and thus he can seem to be quite unapproachable at times. He tries to solve his problems with a calm mind, but if the issue strikes too close to home, his emotions may get the better of him and skew his way of thinking. Emperor's face usually doesn't betray too much emotion, though now that he doesn't have a certain image to uphold he can be seen to be more laid back as a result. If one manages to prove themself to Emperor, he will become a loyal friend who can be called upon in times of need.

If there is one thing that Emperor loves in the whole wide world(s), it is his younger brother, Prince. Emperor will protect his little brother if it is the last thing he does. If anybody wants to get to Prince, they will have to go through Emperor first. When it comes to Prince, Emperor leaves nothing to chance.

Emperor trusts his teammates more than anything. He believes that they will do exactly as he says and they will then claim their victory. His approach to battles is very methodical, every step had already been planned ahead. He doesn't rush ahead needlessly, Emperor rather examines the surroundings and weighs his options, choosing the most efficient one. He loses only extremely rarily and he isn't planning on changing that. For the most part, he doesn't take orders from others. Unless they actually make sense and they are something that Emperor would've done on his own even without them.



Likes:
⍵ Splat Battles - The thrill and anticipation of stomping yet an another team into the ground is an extremely pleasurable feeling for Emperor. A king's place is only at the very top.

⍵ Prince - Simply Emperor's little brother. There's nothing quite like brotherly love.

⍵ Quiet cafés - More often than not, when Emperor wishes to have a moment to himself in silence, he headed to a secluded café where he wasn't treated any differently from any other Inkling that ever set foot there. It was always quiet in there while he sipped away at his hot coffee, enjoying the brief break from crowds of Inklings yelling his name.

⍵ Disobedience - Emperor grew up with a mindset that whatever he says, others will obey and do as he says. There is nothing worse than having that one person ruin everything because they didn't do as they were told. A king's word is absolute.

⍵ Opponent's ink - Rumour says that soles of Emperor's shoes have never touched opponent's ink. While that is no longer true, as two Inklings have managed to do that, it is true that Emperor doesn't like touching the ink of his opponents. It fills him with a strange irritation as if he had lost a match.

⍵ Losing - Though Emperor had learned how to deal with losing a match, the memory of the loss will always haunt him. A king's place is at the very top, after all.

⍵ Find his little brother - After learning from Garnet that his own little brother could have appeared in this strange place, Emperor will not stop until he finds Prince or confirms that he wasn't in Earthland in the first place.

⍵ Learn how to communicate - As much as Emperor doesn't want to, he realizes that he will not get very far without at least some knowledge of a language of the world he found himself in.

⍵ Find a true hobby - After Emperor lost a match during one of the tournaments, he vowed that he will find something that is fun and makes him really happy. He's still looking.

Appearance: Much like a lot of Inklings, Emperor, too, is quite slim and more built for speed than raw strength. He makes up for it with leadership skills. He also wears a golden ear cuff on top of his left ear with the name of the Enperry brand carved into it, at all times.
