- Job Description:
- Job Title: Burning Forest Part 1.
Rank: D
Player Requirements: 2,000 words total for thread.
Job Requirements: At least 2 mages.
Job Location: Any place that reasonably has a very deep forest.
Job Description: Rumors have been circulating of a dragon that lives somewhere in a Forest and some mages have gotten curious about this rumor. Slaying a Dragon, is a big honor in some opinions after-all! Thus the reports have started a treasure hunt of sorts for the dragons pelt as it is rumored to be one possible for a mage to take down due to its size. However if there actually is a true dragon to fight against remains to be seen.
Venture through the forest, fighting or somehow bypassing wildlife, and find whatever creature is supposed to be the dragon.
Enemies:
Weak: Foliage issues.
Rather it's poisonous plants, or vines making a wall where you want to go? For some reason the natural flora is in your way and you must deal with it somehow. If you chose to just break right through it? Only takes a single D rank hit to do so.
Normal: Normal Fuana
Anything from bunnies to hungry big bad wolves, there are many animals to contend with within the woods. Some of them? May attack, if they do these creatures only do D rank psychical damage and take two hits of D-rank damage to down.
Strong: Mythical Fuana
Most of these are very magical bathed they are things like unicorns, gargoyles, two headed snakes or such, things that are mythical. Require three D rank strikes to down if fought, deal d rank magic damage.
Boss: Wyvern
Well it does look an awful lot like a dragon, but here's the problem it's actually a wyvern. Sadly these beasts are much more territorial than normal dragons, and if it see's you it's likely to attack. Armed with claws, fangs and a tail 'blade' these natural weapons deal b rank damage if they strike you. Compared to its natural weapons? Its C rank damaging fire breath is much nicer at first, but this burns you for c rank damage for the next three turns if something on you catches fire. The wyvern is also tanky requiring 15 hits to take down.
Reward: 4,000 to each player and D rank exp.

Althea intertwined her fingers, reaching upwards with her palms towards the sky. She was ready to take on some interesting stuff seeing as she heard there was supposed to be a dragon somewhere in the forest, not that she could confirm that fact seeing as she simply heard about some people conversing about it on her way there. In reality, the slayer didn’t come to Clover Town on a mission to find the beast, just to check out their lake, but poking around the body of water for leisure could be postponed with a dragon in the woods. Althea quickly took the first job concerning it, although she was pretty sure she forgot something relatively important that had to do with the forest as well as going ahead of those she was meant to do it with, not that the young girl was too concerned. Her mind was centered around the thought of fighting one of those winged creatures. Sure, she was taught by one, but Tethys never let the blonde haired girl try to throw even one punch at her! It was preposterous really, the water dragon was all concerned about drawing attention but Althea really didn’t mind if that meant facing something new for a change.
Speaking of which, the water mage couldn’t help but wonder just how far away this said dragon was supposed to be. She had been walking around for a while, so maybe she was just going in the wrong direction? Althea leapt onto the outstretched branch of a tree, attempting to get a good vantage point to see over the forest. But suddenly, the limb began to crack, the slayer proceeding to simply jump onto the closest one only to find a thick vine snaked around her ankle, anchoring her down. Althea wasn't even sure how long it get there in the first place, but its presence delayed her long enough that the branch broke under her weight. Expecting to find herself sprawled carelessly on the ground, Althea managed to land in a jumbled mess of vines that like the one prior seemed to come out of nowhere. The young girl sighed at her mistake, she could have sworn she had enough experience tree climbing that she could tell a sturdy branch from a weak one, but apparently not. Shifting to have her feet land in the ground, Althea couldn't quite seem to become completely free from the mass that had caught her. And her rotating and shuffling only seemed to make it worse, the water mage having ended up in an upside down position either her hands bound behind her back. Trying her legs, she found that they too had been tied together buy the vines that Althea was just now suspecting caused her fall in the first place, leaving her completely stuck.

Hime certainly had never made a habit out of slaying dragons. She tended to stick to burning down buildings and robbing graves- oh, but nobody needed to know that. The peach haired mage unwrapped a fresh lollipop and shoved it between her lips absentmindedly as she thumbed through the sheaf of papers a uniformed guide had waved in her face upon stepping past the boundary into Clover Town. The stack seemed to be comprised mostly of articles praising the city's cheerful, welcoming vibe and multitude of tourist attractions. Somehow, Hime had spotted a newspaper amongst the mess, and on the front page was the story of the day; apparently, a dragon had been spotted in the "endless forest" on the west side, that wood containing a beautiful lake praised in some of the less panicked and more complimentary or even dare she say glowing articles the tourist guide had filled Hime's arms with. The mage couldn't precisely say that she was always excited to go on an adventure into a wild mass of trees, searching for a monster to fight. Like mentioned, Hime wasn't a routine dragon slayer.
Even if she was, technically... a dragon slayer. The girl huffed a breath as that thought floated into her head, and she spat the now empty lollipop stick out of her mouth when she realized her feet and unconsciously taken her to the edge of the forest mentioned in the newspaper. Darn her sense of direction, able to navigate her body even unknowingly. She brushed a hand over her skirt and then set out into the mass of trees, walking endlessly for an indeterminable amount of time until she was as lost as she could be. Somehow Hime still knew she was traveling east, but this was as good as she could do to spite her sense of direction.
Then the slayer noticed a bright shank of flaxen color just ten or so meters away. The blonde color immediately brought to thought hair, like Leona's, and Hime started towards it on instinct. She was more than surprised to see that it was a person, but the mage reached up and hid her surprise as she worked to untangle the vines until they were loose enough for the stranger to slip free if she wanted. Hime had been a bit hesitant to just let some unknown entity have free range of motion while leaving herself vulnerable to maybe any onlookers as she undid the mess, but the peach haired girl had been so startled to see another human, at least in appearance, that she hadn't thought to not try to help. "I'm trying to find a dragon, want to come?" she asked on a bit of an impulse, before immediately wanting to take back her words. Without marking the blonde's response, the fire mage determinedly turned away and began to walk deeper into the forest. Could she smell something burning, or was that just her imagination trying to find an excuse to get away from the scene and hopefully to a more dangerous but less potentially embarrassing one?

Amora smiles to herself with the biggest grin as she makes her way through the forest as she eagerly moves towards her prey that the job said would be there if she decided to take which she absolutely did with no hesitation. To face a dragon would be one of her greatest hunts as of yet when it had come to the prey she has killed within nature and most definitely would have to be one of the toughest opponents that she could go up against. Knowing that the sightings of them are rather rare nowadays seemingly are meant to be rare with how people talked up this job in one form or the other. A feral grin crosses her face as she speed walks her way through the various trees with purpose having headed towards where the last confirmed sighting was mean to be at. She looks forward with her amber colored gaze as she makes her way through the various terrain trying to let her hearing and eyes guide her towards her prey. 'This will be something to definitely prove that i am the best to kill a dragon will at least have people take me seriously no matter what. She looks down to her hand and clenches it tightly with a frown as she opens and closes her hand before tightening it hard in frustration. 'I need to get stronger that girl just toyed with me when we had that little sparring fight. She could've easily taken me out if she felt like it i need to be stronger. I need to become the best to make sure that nothing can kill me. I won't allow myself to be anybody's prey.' She thinks with a low growl escaping her lips as she turns and punches a tree causing its bark to break upon impact but still stand proud. She could've punched through that thing if she wanted. Amora mutters spitefully under her breathe before having her fist back at her side while continuing deeper into the forest.
Amora glances toward the side with a look of curiosity at hearing a voice starting to speak as she sees the sight of some peach colored hair girl talking to some other person. She looks towards the duo and quickly activates a takeover as her skin turns into scales as she activates the ability as she quickly blends into the scenery of the forest as she makes her way closer towards the duo. Making her way by sticking close to the ground to try and not disturb to much of what they could view encase her ability causes some visual disturbances to those with keen eyesight. Plus if she moves slowly she can also avoid making to much sound while sneaking towards the duo. She leans up against a tree and listens to the duo tilting her head into the area where the two other people have decided to talk to one another seemingly when she had last looked. Now that she is closer she can see the other girl is some bland haired girl with a nod of her head Amora waits patiently and would follow the duo to hear what they are talking about before moving in. Knowing from being on enough jobs that there are those that wish to inflcit harm onto others if these two are such people she would rather observe and attack before conversing with them.

Althea sighed deeply, although she was still slightly confused about how she got into the tangle in the first place. Flora usually doesn't move around on its own to purposely trap people, but then again the slayer had never been in Clover Town’s expansive woods. And the more she thought of it, there were a few “carnivorous plants” such as one that trapped insects such as flies, except the slithering ivy she was stuck in obviously preyed on actual people instead. She was pretty sure she was supposed to die from starvation or the vines mass had some sort of poison to move the process along or simply aid in the whole deprivation thing. But instead of thinking about how she was trying to be murdered by a plant, Althea realized she should probably be focusing on how to escape. It was just that the situation didn't truly register to the young girl as a life or death situation, that was reserved for actual combat. Not that that was a problem after a few minutes of hanging there idly and attempting to concoct a plan Althea heard the rustling of nearby foliage, a teen sporting rather vibrant hair color.
Without the water mage even needed to ask, they proceeded to open up a way for her to exit the grasp of the weaving mass, something she promptly did. “Thanks a lot for that! I was pretty stuck.” She said offhandedly as if she didn't just crawl out of a practical cocoon of vines. As she brushed the leaves from her initial tumble off her clothes, Althea kept her royal blue eye on her rescuer. “Oh yeah, I came here looking for the dragon in the first place so I'll just tag along with you if ya don't mind!” So, the slayer trekked through the woods in the stranger’s wake. “I’m Althea by the way, it's nice to meet you! Again, thanks for saving me back there, I’m not sure what what I would've even done against a bunch of seemingly sentient plants.” She said. “Oh right, I almost forgot to ask you why you're looking for the dragon. I want to fight it and stuff because they're supposed to be strong!” Completely absorbed in her relatively one sided conversation with some person she met in the woods, Althea failed to find the additional presence in the vicinity. And even if she did, it was doubtful she would do anything about it. She was never the one to make the first move unless she was pretty sure they were up to something. The water mage didn't feel like assuming anything or acting on anything that didn't lead anywhere. How about someone just felt like harmlessly watching the pair for a while before going in their merry way?

The peach haired mage tensed at a flash of scales in the corner of her eye. On instinct she was tempted to hurl a spell in that direction, but the girl stopped herself. There was no way it was the rumored dragon; it was far too small for that. Hime had no desire to hurt any snakes or lizards that were simply slithering around and minding their own business, so she continued to walk at a decently brisk pace. The blonde stranger introduced herself as the pair continued onwards, and Hime instinctively adjusted her headphones more tightly around her ears to a suitable position for being able to hear the mage who she could know identify as Althea, more clearly. At least, the female assumed the nonchalant girl was a mage; otherwise, she must have been some sort of warrior or something, wanting to fight a dragon just because it was supposed to be strong. That or a daredevil. Or both, they weren't mutually exclusive.
Hime hadn't bothered to introduce herself yet, but she was considering doing so when a tremendous roar shook her brain in its skull. A large, winged shape landed several meters front of the wizards, facing their direction and snorting little puffs of fire and rearing up on its two legs, still flapping its leathery wings in a defensive but menacing fashion. Hime narrowed her red eyes and scanned the area around them. She was loathe to make much noise, since the beast appeared to just have detected that there were intruders and hadn't made a formal attack on their precise location yet. However, she decided it was worth mentioning to Althea her thoughts. "I don't think this is a dragon. It only has two regular legs." Maybe the creature was a wyvern or smaller species of non-magical dragon, but the couple references Hime had to elemental dragons were much different than what lay in their path.
The mage was tempted to slink off and go invisible; she hadn't exactly come to slay a wyvern, but she supposed taking care of the monster would be the same as fulfilling the job she had unofficially accepted from that tour guide. To clear up dragon-related rumors surrounding the forest and possibly scaring locals with stories like that of the newspaper article. The peach haired girl finally made her decision and turned slightly to one side. Hime dove into nearby shrubbery and pulled out a rusted sword, considering what maybe to do next. She was really craving starting some fires right about now, but it was a forest after all. There could be plenty of living things here, innocent snakes and such. The girl absentmindedly scanned the nearby area, looking for any signs of life aside from the mages; she spotted a slight irregularity and maybe a hint of scales and started towards it, still moving through the bushes and undergrowth as carefully as she could manage.

- Hime can be headed in Amora's direction if you want, or she can have spotted something completely different (like an actual lizard) and Amora can still be hidden or you can do whatever you want!

She calmly watches from a safe distance the two girls who appear to be mages as she could suspect at the very least from the fact they are willing to enter this forest alone when there is a seemingly common knowledge of a dragon being around. Which means that doesn't remove the possibility of these two possibly being dangerous to her health if they have a desire to attack and kill anyone that gets in there way. 'However, if that is in fact true that they are mages and could be evil it would be a more fun fight if i just went up against them and attacked just to see if they would be any fun to fight against.' Amora thinks to herself with a bit of glee as her heart pumps ever so slightly faster as a small jolt of adrenaline runs through her at the thought of facing two mages that would be on her level and possibly come out on top as the top predator. She focuses back to reality listening to the girl that introduces herself as Althea as Amora herself commits that name to memory for future use encase that could be someone important. When hearing her reason for being in this forest and that the two are seemingly strangers Amora sighs softly at that knowing that means she most likely won't fight them for sport. Though she could always try to find some way to mess with them while they are fighting this dragon by attacking from her invisibility that her chameleon like ability to blend into nature grants her. She continues to follow the duo of girls with a grin on her face deciding that it could be a fun time just messing with the duo or aiding them if they get lucky enough to spot the dragon in question.
She glances forward towards the beast that makes itself known as a large feral grin crosses her face at seeing what she assumes the target is meant to be. A reptilian creature with wings and legs that can breathe fire within this forest that is territorial. With a large smirk all plans of aiding from the shadows being forgotten in favor of the glory of the hunt Amora quickly moves forward towards the target ready to just attack it head on without much plan or tact. She flicks her gaze over towards the girl with no name making her way over towards her and lets out a low growl of annoyance at seeing the girl moving forward to her. Amora returns her gaze back towards the wyvern focusing on the grand prize as she makes her way towards it to get in range for what she has in mind. She quickly deactivates her chameleon takeover only to activate another within a moment later ready for a fight. The brief moment between switching from one takeover to the next the sight of a girl with raven black hair and amber colored eyes wearing a black t-shirt and shorts moving forward towards the wyvern is seen.
Within the next moment and a quick activation of her spell that form suddenly shifts drastically. The form of a beast takes the place of the normal human looking girl as her height shoots from 6ft1 up to 8ft6 as any signs of humanity leaves the form. Being replaced with eagle like wings that can grant flight and fitting for the size of the creature as the right arm is like that of a lobster claw included and the left arm looking like it belongs to a minotaur. Along with this having a set of quills running along the body. The chest area being completely bare and muscular with a small layer of scales running along half with it slinking up protecting the next of the creature. The feet and legs looking similar to that of a porcupine's anatomy to fit this combination of creatures. The legs being covered in a thick layer of quills as cover as the facial structure looking avian like in nature. Amora Shade, wandering mage and apex predator. A distorted voice says coming from this chimera like beast the voice sounding deep and having this mix of a slight growl mixed into each words. Amora then focuses upon the wyvern in front of her and aims her claw towards the creature and fires off a jet stream of boiling hot water towards it from the claw.

Althea didn't even get to learn the headphone-wearing stranger’s name before the whole forest seemed to shift all at once from a gale blowing from above. But seeing as wind usually doesn't work like that, the blonde gazed up, a large shadow of a figure filling the sky. As it landed, the nearby flora seemed to quiver from the sudden weight upon the land. Before the pair stood a large creature complete with scales and a pair of leathery wings: the dragon. The girl grinned to herself, enthusiasm sparkling in her eyes. But, soon she realized that something was off. Maybe it was the way it was moving, maybe it was its size, maybe it was the beast’s not-quite dragon scent. But Althea's suspicions were confirmed by her peach haired companion who identified it as a wyvern due to its lack of forelegs, something the slayer just thought was because they lost them in a fight. “Aw man, I was really looking forward to fighting a dragon…” She said, disheartened.
But suddenly, the lingering presence made themself known as a raven haired female, at the moment dashing towards the creature. And before the water mage could even properly react to their initial appearance, the girl went and became a size that rivaled the wyvern, losing any feature that might have distinguished her as a human in favor of that of several other creature’s. Then, in a sort of odd half growling half speaking kind of tone she introduced herself before firing a stream of steaming water right at the winged creature. “Hi Amora, I’m Althea!” She said, wishing to tell the stranger her name seeing as she put forward theirs. The wyvern let out a shriek at the sudden and obviously painful attack, stumbling backwards and briefly covering their severe burn with a wing. Taking opportunity to, Althea applied two Drive spells each to those she was probably going to be fighting the wyvern with before dashing towards her target, applying her own as she moved. And before the wyvern could recover from Amora’s initial attack, the young mage leapt into the air, several drops of water raining from the sky. As she landed on the ground, the beast’s attention now on her, it exhaling a blast of fire at her. But as a response Althea performed her own version of the technique, her water managing to move through their fire before impacting the wyvern. The mage passively rose a hand, a wave at least 70 meters tall crashing down on her target.
...and maybe a few allies as well.

Hime's eyebrows shot up into her hairline when everything started happening at once. "It's nice to meet you, Amora," she managed to say before the wandering mage swiped aggressively at the wyvern. Althea seemed all too eager to join in the battle as well, so the peach haired mage simply got to watch as she leaped easily and toppled down to catch the beast's attention and immediately shot water to also mimic the creature.
Then all of a sudden-
ざざっ!
The blonde proceeded to create an enormous wave that crashed down onto a wide local area. Hime was personally caught in the blast and thrown backwards, the back of her spine collided straight with the trunk of a tree and suddenly halted her momentum. As the liquid from the wave slowly trickled away, the slayer weakly coughed out handfuls of water. This was nice.
Honestly, the girl didn't have an enormous problem with water itself. She was okay with being submerged; it didn't really hinder her movements too much and in fact could possibly help them. But that was another case. No, what she was angry with now was the fact that her clothes had been ruined; they couldn't be directly washed or get wet or the dyes would run, like she could tell they were doing now. Instead, Hime always just burned away any dirt with fire and set the color at the same time so they could be regularly washed.
In her fit of annoyance, the girl suddenly whirled around and slashed at the tree she had slammed into, hissing in her exhale.
ぼーん!
Within five or so meters around her, the air shimmered for a moment before suddenly exploding into flames despite being soaked just seconds earlier. The arm she had struck the trunk of the oak with was wrapped in flames, a serpent's head snarling in tandem with the crackling of sudden embers. "My outfit is ruined," Hime verbalized petulantly. She suddenly couldn't stand to be here, next to a half-drowned and certainly knocked out wyvern and two strange mages who had taken down the creature yes, but her outfit was ruined. The mage trailed flames in her wake as she fled, which spread and smoked as they encountered mostly soaked soil and plant life. Eventually, though, she made it out of the radius of Althea's spell- at which point things began to fully catch on fire apart from that one burst earlier. Her fingers hurtled fireballs in random directions without minding where they were going. The snake that had formed around her arm earlier raised a nonexistent eyebrow at the slayer's tantrum before uncurling itself from around her wrist and slithering off to warn snakes in the nearby area that there might be a few forest fires.
Ugh, she really needed to burn something, so she just covered herself in a layer of flames that roared quietly against her skin and caught light to everything that she brushed past, leaving a Hime-sized blazing trail and something like a wall as she sprinted circles of furious energy in the woods. And her back still hurt. The girl was planning to just dramatically burn a bunch of stupid plants that she thought most people didn't care about and then call it quits and leave when she smelled thoroughly like smoked oak. On a whim, she stalked over to the broadest tree she could see in the area and charred the trunk with giant letters that spanned the circumference. V A N I T Y. There, now everyone who wondered why stuff was getting burned and exploded would know why. The slayer wasn't too proud to admit her shallow cause for irritability. It was a fair excuse in her book.

Looking towards the woman known as Althea join in drenching the being that to Amora is a dragon with the force of water makes the girl within her fulltakeover form grin to herself until the sound of rushing water fills the area. Acting as quickly as one can she moves away from the noise glancing back to see a giant wave of water crashing down where she was and also crashing down upon the draconic being as Amora just blinks ever so slightly in confusion. Finding that she is rather happy that she moved to the side rather then up into the air to try and avoid this tremendous wave that Amora can only wonder if it will drown any plant life. She turns her head towards the girl known as Althea with the best expression that could try and mimic confusion on the avian headed full takeover. You created a wave. She says towards the girl with her distorted voice as she then focuses back upon the creature that is her prey ready to continue her assault against the beast. However, she was only greeted to the sight of the wyvern being unconscious as she blinks in confusion at that before turning her head towards the other girl of where she should have been only to see her starting to burn down the forest. A low growl of rage escapes from Amora as she quickly fires off concentrated blasts of her claw to control the fires that are raging a anger and rage building within her at this display. Althea help contain these fires with me please. Amora says quickly and bluntly before rushing after the mage who had made there exit, and more importantly to her made these fires.
'Someone destroying the forest for no reason. Destroying MY HOME.' She thinks possessively and angrily viewing all of nature as her home as she quickly gets in front of the girl she doesn't know the name of and fires off three feathers around the girl as a warning shot. Stop your fires now mage. Or i will force you to stop. The distorted and angry voice of Amora comes from the girl who is still within her full takeover ready to fire off her quills to injure this girl for what she has done. Still using her claw to neutralize as much as the burning flames that surround the area. Amora having forgotten Althea's presence upon focusing on what she deemed as more pressing matters then her prey she had come all this way to try and kill herself.

Althea didn't really think before performing one of her most powerful attacks in a forest with several others nearby, but she got caught up in the moment and just went all out. It deeply disappointed her to see the wyvern be beaten so quickly, the water mage passively hoping that although it wasn't an actual dragon it's strength could be comparable to it. But in the end it was only a wish, the creature had its strengths, but there was no way from the moment it approached the party that it would come out of the situation unfazed. She sighed, about to move to skin and possibly cook the beast. After all, Althea hated to waste a perfectly good source of food. Would it taste like a lizard? Maybe less chewy and more rough like sandpaper. But her curiosity would have to wait because the peach haired girl from before seemed to disappear right under her nose, although the rising of smoke into the air hinted at her position.
Remaining in her odd form, Amora moved towards the source, the slayer choosing to follow along due to a greater curiosity. As soon as they were out of the area affected by the young girl’s own spell, evidence of a path of flames was evident. Amora instructed her to control the flames, so as they made their way through Althea exhaled small streams of water at general areas, quenching them but hopefully not killing them. But when the raven haired girl reached the stranger, she seemed pretty ticked off. The young girl found that this had little to do with her, besides her having extremely poor foresight, so she just kind of spectators what would unfold.

The moment the three quills came flying towards her, Hime came shuttering to a halt, suddenly very still. She couldn't tell if they were supposed to have missed or not, if they were meant to be directly dangerous or if she was only trying to make the mage recoil. Either way, the peach haired girl found herself no longer moving immediately, her expression set and stony. "The fire is good for the forest," she said lightly with an edge of laughter. The tone of her voice was friendly but invited no argument.
"Anyway, I couldn't stop those flames right now if I wanted," she smiled coldly, and it didn't reach her eyes. But her voice was still bright and warm, and she faced away from Amora as she spoke. The tail end of her words was punctuated by a slight giggle, but it had an odd ring to it.
Hime pressed her lips together and waved a hand airily at the burning trees still around the pair. Her back was still aimed towards the wandering mage. "Besides, this place is kind of damp and dank. Not much to burn." The girl smirked and smoothed down her skirt, she frowned at the wrinkles it had gotten as it dried from being soaked by the wave earlier. "You just need to lighten up, Amora." Hime flounced a little farther away from the darker haired mage before whirling around and slowly walking away but still facing the girl, one fist clenched at her side as she took backwards steps carefully and deliberately. She was peeved as she noticed the blonde member of the trio finally sort of rejoin them; Althea stayed a little ways away and seemed mostly preoccupied with dampening down Hime's fires. Disappointing. But she was more focused on the wandering mage at the moment. "Seriously, you look like someone just told you your family died in a house fire. Lighten. Up." When the second word of the phrase left her lips, Hime snapped the fingers of her free hand and sparked a small flame that flickered before the slayer grew it into a fireball that she hurtled at Amora.
"Have some fun! The forest looks better my way anyway! You too, Althea, stop literally raining on my parade!" The peach haired girl spun another fireball with her unoccupied hand and tossed it playfully at the blonde.

A low growl of anger escapes the lips of the full takeover form of Amora as she points her clawed hand towards the girl willing to fire off a jet of water towards this girl at any moment. Her wings pointed directly at the girl in front of her ready to fire off a volley of feathers at this girl that is daring to harm her domain willing to put this girl down here and now to at least unconsciousness. You should learn to control your flames girl, or you will harm things you shouldn't dare to do like what i consider my home and domain. Amora says as every word is dripping with anger and having a low growl throughout the sentence. When hearing the little joking comments Amora snarls and fires off a volley of feathers that are sharp as arrows aiming directly towards every limb of this girl as they are incinerated by the fireball. You don't know my life you brat. You don't know anything about me besides my name. She growls out and fires out a jet of water from her claw counteracting the ball of fire as the full takeover form of Amora bursts through the steam that is produced.
The beast firing off quills aimed at every limb once more wanting to see this girl brought to her knees aiming for area such as the elbows, knees, thighs, and shoulders particularly. The already angry Amora becoming more enraged at being reminded of a past she would rather forget as her hand are formed in a claw like manner as the fingers twitch as if trying to resist forming a fist. When hearing her next sentence Amora ignores her surrounding and rushes forward her minotaur arm moving back as it forms into a fist and strikes downwards on Hime's current position. The forest is the home of many beasts of prey! Your flames are just ruining the homes that nature has built for them just for your own amusement! Stop ruining my home and the forest! She roars out angrily towards the peach haired girl. Still viewing nature as her home no matter where it flourishes from having been raised in the wild for ten years of her life.

After Althea extinguished most fires nearby within her current abilities, she completely focused on the two girls’ exchange. It had little to do with her, but she was obliged to make sure she would take the necessary actions when needed. After all, her position as a “force of justice” paid for all the things simple jobs couldn't and she didn't feel like losing it because she let a forest next to a prominent village burn. Of course, the flames were still raging in a few places, but there wasn't much the young girl could do about it.
With a larger target area, the force of her blasts increased which defeated the purpose of putting the fire out. Althea's previous attack had drowned many of the plant life and possibly a few animals that couldn’t evade the impending wave. I mean, if the headphone-wearing stranger didn’t didge it a few critters probably were impacted too. But, Amora seemed rather passionate about the forest seeing as it was her home, and Althea didn’t see any motivation for the stranger’s actions besides “she got wet”, so she was biased towards the wandering mage.
"Hey guys, if you start fighting there will probably be even more damage to the forest so..." The slayer said, discouraging a fight although she wouldn't actually do much but watch if it ended up breaking out.

Hime rolled her eyes when the wandering mage snarled something about not knowing her. Well that was an easy fix. "Tell me about you," she proposed in a sing-song voice. "Like your hobbies maybe? Also, that was unnecessary," the mage huffed when Amora doused her fireball to create steam. "Although kind of cool, I will admit." She called when a flurry of things suddenly flew through the steam, along with one apparently angry takeover mage.
The dark haired girl seemed to be rather irritated, to put it casually. The fiery mage was forced to dodge a whole assortment of quills and feather-like attacks that made her shudder at the idea of the horror she had avoided: her precious outfit getting a dozen holes poked in it to add onto the colors already running courtesy of the wave from earlier. The slayer back-flipped away when Amora basically tried to pummel her into the earth. In fact, Hime whistled lowly and smiled with amusement.
Something that Althea said did catch her ear suddenly, and the peach haired mage flipped her hair over one shoulder as she replied easily, "We're not fighting, and the forest is doing great!" she pressed her lips together to hold back a smile as she twirled around and flames shot out of her fingertips, aimed a little farther away and not in the direction of either of the other two females. They appeared to land somewhere between the trees or in the brushes and leaves. "Wow, isn't that cool!" the girl whistled again as she observed more smoke rising.
It did just occur to her that they had been on a job, and though the wave had apparently knocked out their monstrous opponent, it could very well have been alive. But the blonde had lingered behind, so maybe she knew more? Had Amora really just left the thing to follow Hime around while she burned a couple of plants? And the wandering mage blamed her for being irresponsible and not thinking about the forest! The wyvern had fire breath too! "Althea, did you take care of the wyvern? Oh, and I don't know much about you, either! What's your favorite color, 'cause I think just looking at you blue might be an amazing choice." The slayer tapped a finger against her chin dramatically before drawing a heart in the air with very lovely, sky-colored flames.

Amora just stares down her opponent being rather angry that girl is just deciding to burn down nature without any rhyme or reason for doing so besides just some amusement. She stares down her opponent wishing she could just put her down like any other person that she would deem her enemy, but even if she would prefer that being an option Althea does have a point. She watches as another wash of fire gets sent to somewhere within the forest as Amora quickly gets in the way of the flames and puts her claw forward to take the flames onto it. The burning sensation that occurs causes the takeover user to flinch ever so slightly from the pain as it soon ends, and when it does Amora goes back to her human form. Black hair with a slight spikiness to it is revealed along with her amber eyes staring directly at the unnamed woman that was burning this forest. Do you just like to burn down forests and homes for fun, or do you have a actual reason for doing so? Amora asks the peach haired girl as she walks over towards her with Amora's outfit being a simple black t-shirt with holes in the back for her wing takeover and long black pants. Amora turns towards Althea and gives a quick gentle smile to thank the girl without really saying any words as she then glances towards the peach haired girl. Amora entirely willing to jump in front of any flames that are produced from the girl to protect the forest around her at the cost of her own health and safety. Also, secondly i won't be answering any of your questions till you even introduce yourself, and stop burning down my home. How would you like it if i went to your home and tore the entire building down with my bare hands? Noo...that wouldn't be a good enough comparison what about if i destroyed the entire town? Left hundreds or even thousands of creatures homeless just because i felt like it? Amora says towards the girl standing right in front of her with her amber gaze having a annoyed and angered look within them as i stare the girl down as i say those words. As i break eye contact for only the briefest moments afterwards to do a quick check on the wildlife within the immediate vicinity if there is even anything alive nearby. Which i can only hope not since it is dangerous here and more so looking for level of destruction.

When the peach haired stranger simply stated that the forest was fine and the two weren’t fighting before proceeded to burn more of the forest, Althea only shrugged. She assumed that she had tried her best to prevent any violence but it was going to happen anyways, so might as well sit and watch the fireworks fly. Either way, she enjoyed a good brawl, even if she wasn’t participating. So the slayer took a seat under a nearby tree, her legs crossed and hands on her knees. But soon the headphone-wearing stranger pointed out something that quickly caught the young girl’s attention. “Now that you mention it, not sure if I just stunned it or it’s actually dead…” She said, holding her chin with her bandaged hand. “Yeah, I never actually checked. Might just go do that.” The water mage said before getting to her feet. “Oh, and I never actually had a favorite color before, but thanks for giving me one!” Althea said with a wave before turning and delving back into the forest, not thinking about how her comment might have seemed a little off.
Finding her way back to the wyvern was easy, simply follow the trail of destruction backwards. Charred stumps where trees once stood, bare earth, and still lingering smoke acted as her markers, although the pure amount of things having burned was something Althea couldn’t help but to be impressed by. Although she put out a lot of the flames, the fire still impacted a large area of the forest and still continued to do so. And after wading through a few deep pools water, she found the beast. It was right where the group left it, lying on the ground motionless. “Well, I guess I should make sure.” Althea said, raising her hand as she had while summoning the wave. But suddenly the creature’s golden eyes cracked wide open, most likely having been awaken by the magical signature of the spell. So, all in one motion, it sat up, unfurled its wings, and rose itself off the ground with a single beat of their wings. Slightly surprised, it took Althea a second before realizing what had happened before pursuing the wyvern. It was ascending up into the sky, trying to get out of the range of her attacks, but she had no problem moving quickly. Althea practically ran up the nearest tree and, without the resistance of the vines, leapt upwards, grabbing hold of the reptile’s tail. It tried to shake her off, going at an intense speed while twisting and jolting about, but the young girl held on tight.

Questioningly, the mage tilted her head. "I usually do it for fun, but why wouldn't that be a reason?" She pouted when Amora didn't seem amused at all, and the peach haired mage arched an eyebrow when the dark brunette approached her and stared at her from the close distance. The slayer didn't jump back, though her instincts screamed to. Instead, she listened as the wandering mage went on a miniature rant about how firstly the fire wielder had not introduced herself and then proceeded to make a comparison of how she felt to how Hime might feel in a similar situation. The peach haired girl met Amora's gaze with wide eyes high eyebrows. Her lips were pressed together as she nodded along to the wanderer's words.
She then dropped the entire expression and giggled almost hysterically. "Well, you can call me..." she tilted her head again curiously before blinking around and peering at the nearby area. When she saw V A N I T Y carved into the tree from earlier, she smiled triumphantly and directed her sight back to Amora. "...Vana! Yeah, you can call me Vana. Now I introduced myself. And your analogy is crazy! Someone destroying my home and town? That sounds..." the slayer stepped a few paces backwards, her eyes narrowing as she dropped the smile. "Like something that's already happened. Wonder where those homeless creatures went?"
The girl was suddenly diverted by Althea, who seemed to be pensive about whether she had actually killed the wyvern. Hime grinned when the blonde thanked her for picking her favorite color, before the smile faded when she thought a little bit more about that situation. "I'll come with you when you do that," the peach haired girl began to say, but the water-user had already vanished into the trees. Hime swiftly followed, flouncing just a bit but mostly moving in a natural, relaxed fashion. The girl mostly followed Althea's flash of blonde that she could see far ahead, but she whistled with amusement and pleasure when she saw the smoldering remains of many trees and bushes. The fires weren't exactly raging any more, but there was plenty of evidence that satiated her concerns from earlier that the blonde had put out all of the flames. Some appeared to actually still be burning, mostly farther away but a few lingered in the area, much to the slayer's fascination and satisfaction.
All of a sudden she heard a heavy thud and then-
"がおー!"
The roar shook the forest, and the mage nearly doubled over in laughter before she realized that Althea had probably done something to trigger that noise that could definitely belong to the wyvern. Hime hastened to run along the path, she had lost sight of the blond while admiring the smoke trailing up from the incinerated nature. When the fiery mage managed to skid into the clearing, she couldn't help but roll around on the forest floor, laughing. "Althea- You- " she tried to contain the noise, stuffing her face into one elbow, but she couldn't help but let out some giggles. "くすくす" she hiccuped and laughed at the same time. Eventually it did occur to the slayer to actually help the blonde, who was being shaken around at an alarming rate.
Hime pulled herself up from the ground, mirth still visible on her face. She brushed off her skirt and then shot forward like a bullet, darting underneath the wyvern and staring up as it flapped its wings intensely, trying to take off. Carefully she aimed before letting a fiery serpent fly towards the midsection of the beast, winding around the creature and searing into its skin. The thing howled in pain and dropped to the ground, certainly not finished yet but no longer shaking its tail and subsequently Althea, wildly.

Amora stares down the fire user and just lets out a low growl of annoyance before turning her head back towards Althea who decides to go back towards the wyvern. You're a psychopath Vana if you just destroy things for fun in my eyes. Next you're going to tell me you're some kind of dark mage. I say towards the girl as i activate eagle wings once more and just glances back towards the fire user with a raised eyebrow as i look towards her. Well welcome to the club Vana if that is true. You're not the only one whose home is burned down and there is no coming back towards it to a loving family. And this homeless creature had to live in a cave and adapt and survive. She says bluntly with a half payed attention to the girl at this point as Amora flies through the air and makes her way towards the sound of the large thud as she watches the wyvern fly through the air along with Althea. She goes to move to attack the wyvern as the wyvern starts falling towards the dragon after being struck by a stream of fire. Looking down Amora then just shrugs and fires off a volley of arrow like feathers down towards the dragon in question as the feathers pierce the skin of the wyvern that has been weakened by the other attacks. Amora just looks down and calmly waits to see if the dragon will take to the air once more so she can attack it from the air to keep it down to the ground.

Althea was grasping onto the wyvern’s whipping tail, trying not to get pierced by the blade on the end. It would've been a shaky ride if just holding on to the wyvern, but along with its efforts to get her off it was extremely difficult. The wind pounded the young girl as the two flew through the sky, Althea feeling ever dip lower in sky or loop done in efforts to get her off. At this point Althea realized she was missing both her shoes, but she would probably be better without them. She used nothing but her arms to move herself up the wyvern’s tail inch by inch, at least enough so that her bare feet could get onto the reptile’s scales and assist as well. It also helped that Amora and the person apparently called Vana had noticed the wyvern and had shot several attacks at it that greatly reduced it’s speed and altitude. But although it’s flying faltered for a moment, the wyvern managed to stay airborne.

Unfortunately, it seemed that as soon as the wyvern had dipped towards the forest floor it was back airborne and bucking wildly to try to dislodge Althea's grip. Shaking her head with a slightly put-out expression, Hime tossed a fireball back and forth between her hands as she considered any possible next moves. One would think she loved battling the lizard-like creatures, being a dragon slayer and all, but the peach-haired mage constantly remembered that a dragon had also taught her the magic. So it was a bit strange.
Something did just occur to the girl, though, and she voiced her realization aloud, excitement coloring her tone. "Althea, Amora... if you nicknamed me Ana, then we would all match! Triple As!"
Nonetheless, the slayer could acknowledge that Althea seemed like an interesting enough person whose brain cells did not deserve to be tenderized in her skull by the intense shaking of the wyvern's tail. Hime sent a few fireballs flying towards the dragon-like beast's head, and then fished a lollipop out of her mouth and slipped it between her lips. Tucking a few strands of hair behind her right headphone side, she sat down with her back against a tree and closed her eyes, more than ready to doze off. At her side, the fiery serpent looked at Hime a bit incredulously before rolling its eyes and snaking through the air towards the wyvern, intently aiming for its neck area. The twisting magical manifestation bit down as hard as it could with flaming fangs while its manifester sat lazily in the shade, her biggest concern that the placement wasn't as she preferred and in the sun.

She watches as the wyvern manages to stay up for the most part and fight through the attacks done by herself and the vana girl as the beast once more takes flight into the sky as she grins at that knowing for at least herself this is going to be the fun part. She activates her minotaur strength takeover as her arms become like that of the creature in question as she flies straight towards the wyvern planning on just punching the creature at a angle to see if she can just punch it towards the ground steadily. Amora grins once she is in a good position to just fall into the wyvern as she promptly does so ignoring the sinking feeling in her gut as that happens as she fires off a stream of feather like arrows once more towards the wyvern to pierce into it. Once the black haired girl is near the dragon she does as she desires and just punches the dragon as hard as she can on its back with her attack. Then proceeding to do that over and over again as the feathers land against the wyvern like beast Amora doing her best to keep a grip on the creature with one hand while punching it repeatedly with the other. A rather pleased grin across her face all the while she does so having never had a hunt as interesting or exciting as this with such a prey. 'Though i've never hunted a wyvern before either. To bad it isn't a dragon though i was really hoping for a good fight to have against those beasts. I've only heard things about how strong they can be.' A small pout playing across her lips knowing that she isn't fighting a actual dragon though still having fun all the same either way.

“HUH? VANA, DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?” Althea attempted to say over the rushing of wind and from being so far away from the peach-haired girl. She saw her mouth move, or at least she thought so, and she was probably saying something. Maybe it was important? Well, no matter because Althea was still on a wyvern. But she predicted that soon would not be the case seeing as the efforts of Amora and Vanna had seemed to damage one of the creature’s wings, the reptile vigorously beating its wings to stay afloat with no avail. So it started slowly plummeting to the ground, and any fourth wall breaking onlooker who wandered through the fabric of time already damage by previous posts might have remarked a trail of smoke behind the beast would be rather appropriate.
And thus came the end of the rather stubborn wyvern, crash landing into the heart of the quiet Clover Town’s woods. And in retrospect, Althea wasn’t even sure what she was planning on doing once she got onto the thing. Maybe she just kind of wanted a ride? She had no idea, but enjoyed the experience nonetheless. The slayer stretched, sliding off the beast with a great amount of dust from the land covering her, erm, everywhere. “Phew! Nice going! I had fun!” She said mostly to herself. “I’m going to catch my train back real quick, it should be here soon and I don’t feel like paying for another ticket.” So, the dirt-covered Althea strode away, hopefully in the right direction, back to where she started her expedition. She hoped that Vana and Amora wouldn’t fight over the forest anymore seeing how great they worked together to take down the wyvern, but that wasn’t up to her to dictate.

Hime waved lazily at Althea as the water-user disappeared somewhere a little ways away, the wyvern having landed out of sight along with the blonde mage. The fire slayer was in no such rush, but she did admit that she wasn't particularly interested in Amora attempting to give her another lecture... how banal. Rather, her interest lay in having another fireball game, hopefully with the forest heavily involved. Since the wandering mage was so protective over this one, never mind that she probably felt that way about all sets of trees, the girl supposed it could be nice to move on from this area.
That didn't prevent her from sending trails of flames shooting at various canopies as Hime swiftly darted away from the now-open clearing, an expression of amusement solidly on her face as she took in the smoking trail of destruction the wyvern had left behind. "I'll see you later, Amora!" the slayer called cheerfully, not bothering to turn over her shoulder as she left, starting miniature forest fires wherever possible in the hopes that some burning could, due to odds, start a more impressive blaze. Though she didn't devote much attention to the task, more focused on returning to the main part of town and subsequently making plans to get lost in the crowd for now.

Amora just watches the two girls leave out of the blue rather suddenly after the creature was dealt with as she lands upon the ground and blinks in confusion at that not use to this rather quick dismissal of people leaving the area after clearing the request. Is this how all teamups with mages are suppose to go? Cause that was a rather lack luster ending didn't even get either of there numbers to call up in the future encase they felt like hanging out if that would be a option. Then there is the fact that just means i am going to find a lot of people i am going to dislike, but also like also. Seriously what right does she think she has just burning something down for no reason. Amora mutters angrily to herself at the end not realizing the slight irony in such a statement one could point out to her if they knew the black haired girl well enough. That hunting just for fun is not really a good idea since that just has diminishing food sources and the threat of extinction to certain species which just puts the entire balance of the forest and nature in danger anyhow. The black haired huntress just settles on the simple task of cleaning up this forest, carving the wyvern up for some meals to eat and bring back to her partner Oras while she does her task of cleaning the forest up. Focusing intently on just the fires started by the pyromaniac Ana as she proclaims herself as with that being her major duty in trying to keep this part of the nature safe and not under threat of any innocent creatures dying. With when she is done which takes hours for every aspect Amora has a nice bundle of wyvern meat for herself to have and keep with a rather happy grin on her face at such a fact since she hasn't ever had meat of such a unique quality. Along with this the forest is no longer burning and any burnt down or fallens down tress have been broken down repeatedly into nice organized stacks of logs that wouldn't impede the animals traversing the forest. However, it will at the very least make for easy gathering by humans if they ever needed burnt logs or wood for something they could need. 'I hope i at least meet Althea again she was nice. Could do without Vana though.' Is her last thought before she makes her way back towards her temporary home that in her mind she really shouldn't even be allowed in. The Black Rose guild building where there mages rest where she isn't even a guild mage just crashing at there place since her partner is part of there guild while she isn't.
