Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
Her memory was still no closer to returning, at this point she was irritated beyond belief but she tried to look on the brighter side of things. Well she would do if there was any light to make things brighter at current even the sun wasn't giving out light and the moon well it seemed to be swallowing the light rather than giving it. It concerned her in more ways than one, even though the guild known as Nightmare was outside the realm of Earthland they still required things such as vegetables, meats and other things that they couldn't gain inside their home realm. She sat at a window of the guild hall the look of concern in her milky blue jade eyes as she thought things over, sure they were a dark guild but then someone was trying to take what rightfully belonged to their guild master if you believed what was being said around the guild hall. She couldn't say one way or another if this was indeed true but she decided that she should at least get information on the goings on and report it back so that further action could be taken if needed.
Before she even thought about leaving she started to ask questions around the guild hall if something like this had happened any time in the past, what she found out surprised her. That some twisted entity calling themselves the regent of darkness had tried to engulf Earthland in eternal night one year before but failed due to the efforts of mages. It was then she had an idea, she knew the former Savage Skull mage known as Dahau had been having a hard time finding his place in the new order of things and seen this as a way for him to find himself once more. To her it seemed strange that to find ones self should be done in the deepest of darkness's but while finding himself he could also honour their guild master by taking out the impostor posing as darkness. Moving to a table she wrote a note and slid it under Dahau's room door knowing he'd likely be somewhere in the catacombs before heading out towards the designation she had wrote on the letter and that she'd like his company, only problem was while she was walking down the stairs she seen Baird. "All the people in this realm and I had to bump into you." she complained but she didn't stop walking to let him reply but still headed towards the portal heading out.
Baird would see her wearing a baby pink and periwinkle hanfu, her hair done up intricately via pins and ribbons though it was still very tasteful, her make up as always looking flawless. She could have easily passed as a life sized porcelain doll, it would have hard to have imagine that such a charming and cultured girl was inside a guild dedicated to war, blood, honour as well as quite a few other things. Then appearances were often deceiving and she used that to her advantage, it wasn't an underhanded tactic but rather using a weapon she had been naturally gifted with. It also helped her gain important information that she could help the guild with moving forward and cause discord where needed while placing the blame elsewhere as required. With a little time she managed to get to the place she said she'd meet Dahau taking refuge under a carriage shelter, there was something in the air she could feel it though had no idea what it was or even if it was her insanity playing up making her more paranoid that what was really needed. Regardless she just hoped that Baird hadn't followed her, she didn't feel like slitting anyone's throat at that point, her clothing was imported at great personal expense and her shoes were new; doing such a distasteful act on a worthless musician would just ruin her clothes and it would mean she'd have to revive him just to kill him over again. It just wasn't worth the effort nor her time.

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
Baird Yuzill
The musician had been rather amused lately by the turn of events that was happening in Earthland. It actually inspired a song out of him. He had enjoyed playing outside of the guild just messing around with his lute and thinking up some lyrics to go along with the composition. "Fiore is as dark as night/ Giving the land a spooky fright/ All the good people are scrambling/ Scrambling and... and Scrambling and rambling!" He clears his throat and stops for a second before he strums his lute once more. "Fiore is as dark as night/ Giving the land a spooky fright/ All the good people are scrambling/ Scrambling and rambling/ For the Knights to save them all!" He chuckles as he finished his little ditty about the seemingly eternal night that was looming over Earthland.
"Princess of the night/ You can't scare the King/ For he is the one who can end you/ By simply flicking his finger with the ring." He snickers as he had heard that there was one whom claims herself to be a royalty, but he doubted it was true. As he walked and continued to sing his current nonsense, working to make it a complete song, just in random pieces for now, he spotted a black haired beauty walking down the stairs. He grins, showing some of his teeth to her, and winks. "You know you love seeing my face though." He teases her. He notices her wearing a hanfu, and can't help but let his eyes linger on her, and let up a low whistle. He wasn't really wolf whistling, it was more of a low, impressed whistle at her attire and how adorable she could look. Baird let her walk on for a moment before a grin comes to his lips again and he lets his lute disappear while he jogged after her, keeping a distance to make sure she wouldn't be too upset with him following her. She didn't say he couldn't when she spoke to him earlier.
In Earthland, the musician adjusted his black leather vest on his shoulders, and smirks to himself a bit. This didn't seem too bad, it actually seemed rather grand in his opinion. All the black about the place... seemed like a delight. Now if only there was a bright green, or red, striking through the black, it'd be perfect. He then summons forth a shamisen, and is playing a tune on it as he approaches the carriage shelter that he had seen Yuiisai go under. He allows his music to alert her of his presence, not wavering or quieting down too much, and when he's in view and near the shelter, he just enters and leans himself against a post for now while he continued to play his tune on the shamisen. Of course he was slightly trying to show off his new instrument to her, and show her how well he can play it as well.
On his wrist was a red bracelet with a fox pendant in the center. Suddenly, the pendant moved and the whole bracelet seemed to jump off of his arm as a little red fox was now sitting next to Baird, watching him play. Baird didn't seem to pay the fox any mind, not till he finished playing. Then that little fox seemed to snort. "Are you playing that for another woman? I feel insulted." The fox chuckled to him. Baird glanced down to the animal, then looked to Yuiisai with a grin, ignoring the fox for now. "Miss me?" He grins to her. He half expected her to throw something at him, or threaten him already, but he hoped his song wooed her enough to calm her down at the same time. "What are you doing out here for? Gonna be seeing why it's so dark or whatever?" He cackles. He actually wanted to cause havoc now... and if he wasn't killed by Yuiisai for being there without much of a warning, maybe he could. The fox then snorts and rubs herself up against Baird's leg in a rather catlike manner. "I think she was going on a date with someone else... lover boy... Better luck next time." She had a toothy grin up to him before she went back to rubbing on his leg once more. Baird's face flushed at the name 'lover boy', and he glared down at the fox. He may have found her to be good company some times, but right now, not so much. She was a bit too much sass today. Especially since he saw the fox was looking like she was smirking at Yuiisai, and being extra cuddly towards him today.

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
The sky was like an ill omen, dark and frightful with a slight hint of despair hiding behind the shroud of darkness. Dahau couldn't help but stare at the foreboding scene from behind his arch shaped window. It was just like one year ago, the sky blackened and a covered the lands in shadow and nightmare. Back then a lot of mages banded together to fight against this threat, but not him. Stowed away safely behind the walls of Savage Skull, Dahau had watched and assessed the situation and had deemed it a waste of his time. However times had changed since then, he was no longer in Savage Skull, but instead had joined up with a new dark guild, namely Nightmare. A guild that was lead by an actual deity. Sure Dahau had joined up with a far stronger guild, but in return, he had lost everything he enjoyed in Savage Skull. His position, his prestige even his most loyal men. No longer he surrounded himself with honor guards but instead he was alone, spending most of his time in his new chambers.
He turned away from the scenery outside and looked around in his room. It wasn't as intimidating as he had before, but it was still rather spacious. Enough room to put in a large wooden bed, a collection of books and a massive mahogany desk which was stacked with scrolls and papers. The sides of that desk were decorated with gorgeously carved into heroes and dragons. There was even plenty of room for a seating area near the hearth, a small coffee table surrounded by a two seat sofa and a couple of velvet chairs. In every regard, it looked normal, with only one oddity. Hanging on one of the walls was a large painting, a masterpiece if Dahau said so himself. In reality, the painting reflected Dahau's personality, as it was an image of himself while declaring victory over his fallen victims. Which in turn laid down at his feet.
As he walked around his room, he heard the rustling from paper. And when he looked at that direction he saw a piece of paper being slid underneath his door and into his chambers. 'What's this?' he asked himself. Curious, he walked up to the door and reached for the folded paper. He opened it, only to see a few words written in a graceful handwriting. Obviously a woman's gentle touch. Naturally, it could be coming from only one person, Yuissaii, one of the few persons he actually interacted with in the guild. Even though he often referred to her as a nuisance. The other one being Baird, a young musician with an interesting magic.
He read the contents of the short letter and it immediately triggered him. What was he? Some lovestruck teenage girl that communicated through small notes. Yuissaii had asked him to meet at a certain location, the text had an urgent tone, however, Dahau felt as if this was basically asking him to meet behind the gym at school. Ridiculous!
He grabbed his cloak from a mannequin and threw it over his shoulder while clicking it in a buckle. Next, he opened a portal, large enough for him to pass through. It wasn't a blue swirling stream of magic, but instead, the portal appeared as a rift in reality itself. Revealing vaguely the scenery on the other side. He could already see two silhouettes, one had unmistakably green hair, which probably had to be Baird.
Dahau stepped through and appeared at the same moment the small red fox stated that Yuissai was waiting on a date and called the young musician a loverboy.
'It'd better be for something else than a... date' said Dahau with disdain in his voice while appearing from behind Baird. 'In fact, I don't take kindly to being summoned like some sixteen-year-old girl, flailing over the local high school jock.' Dahau wore his usual attire, black combat gear with a long cloak dragging behind him. On the contrary to the other two mages, Dahau appeared to be older, at least physically, with his black beard and his taller physique you could see that Dahau was around his late forties. In reality, he was older, but he kept his youth through magic. It was is face however that suggested that he older than he appeared to be. A prideful look, partially conceited but also one that had seen too many battles.
'So tell me... why am I here?'

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
The sky was dark, unlit by a sun. It would have been perturbing to a normal mage. It was obviously disturbing to regular folk. However, Masha had been born and raised in the dark. Even though she had stepped into the light, the dark would always be a part of her. The predator side of her unfurled as the moon glowed a black light. Something that terrified Masha. The predator inside only wanted to use and discard. To take without giving. Giving in would be returning to an addiction Masha had hoped was well behind her. Her fingers flexed as she restlessly walked down the road. What to do? What to do?! The succubus watched a panicked couple hurry down the street. Her tongue flicked out to touch her lip. The boy was a bit scrawny but the girl was a looker. It wouldn't take much to initiate a threesome. Mmmmm. Masha didn't even realize she was walking toward them until she was halfway to the couple. She wrenched her eyes away, a panic starting to settle within her chest. She couldn't be near normal people.
The succubus began to ran. Distance was eaten by her long strides. Masha was grateful she'd worn something simple. Short shorts that hugged her ass and a red lacy see through push up bra rounded out with some good ole sneakers. It allowed her to run without her outfit really getting in the way. Not that many of her outfits did. She'd spent weeks training in every type of outfit for the scientists. They wanted her to be combat ready in any situation. A shudder ran through her. Dark memories rose within her mind. They didn't help the incessant hunger gnawing at her belly. That hunger that no food would satisfy. Masha tried to turn her thoughts away from that evil place where she'd spent her childhood.
A familiar burst of magic drew her eye. Masha skidded to a halt. When a hulking figure stepped from the portal, Masha's eyes widened. She hadn't seen Dahau in ages. The mage had practically raised her. She took off running toward him, a big smile on her face. The other mages with him went unnoticed until she was nearly upon them. Leaping through the air, Masha tried to give Dahau a flying hug while she shouted "Daddy!" She wasn't all together sure if he'd let her hug him but that fact wasn't really relevant. If he allowed her to hug him, Masha buried her face in his chest for a few moments. Otherwise, she would get up dust herself off and pout at him. Once she was through hugging or pouting at her only father figure, Masha turned to the mages with him. Both were probably dark mages but that didn't bother Masha. She'd been raised in a dark guild after all.
One was a rather beautiful woman. She was wrapped in a hanfu with her hair done up in a look that Masha wanted to steal. Of course, the succubus would put her own personal touches on it. It might not look as good however, a thought that made Masha frown. The second mage... something about him drew Masha. Like there was something connecting the two of them. It was a completely insane feeling. He looked nothing like Masha with his exotic green hair and pointed ears. She probably had more muscle mass then him too given that slender frame. Yet despite all that... Masha wanted to curl up in his arms. A light blush spread across her pale cheeks. "Uh hi. I'm Masha." Her gaze flicked to the woman but it mainly stayed on the green haired male. "May I have your name...s, names? May I have your names?" Where was that smooth talking girl she usually was? This unexpected feeling shouldn't bother her so much. It was throwing off her game.
Feeling flushed, Masha lowered her eyes to the ground. Her eyes snagged upon a red fox pressed close to the male mage. Her face lit up. She loved animals. Both eating them and petting/playing with them. This fox looked absolutely adorable. Masha crouched down. Her eyes sparkled. "Hi there! What's your name?" She asked happily. Masha dug into a pouch at her waist. Since she was on a team that constantly had a ferret with them, the succubus had taken to bringing along little treats. She pulled out two spiced meats, holding them out to the fox. "Want a snack?"

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
Yuiisai couldn't help but roll her eyes as the green haired musician seemed to continue following her, she would prefer he didn't but at the same time she thought murdering a guild member might be frowned upon so just continued to walking without saying a word in the hopes he would get bored and leave her alone. As it stood she had no such luck as he then spoke to her, what did she doe to deserve this guys attention? They had done one job together and now he was like a cockroach she could never seem to get rid of, actually she was quite sure that it be easier to kill a cockroach at this point so quietly started to going through the many ways she could kill him without it looking like she had anything to do with it or even making it seem like an accident or suicide. "No, what I love is space." she said calmly as she continued thinking just how annoying he truly was but she knew she had to play nice with him at least until she found other ways to deal with him. "Why are you following me anyway Baird, don't you have some fan girl to be bedding or something?" she said getting out of the guild and so stopping holding the bottom of her hanfu now she knew it wasn't about to be covered in who knows what was on the floor.
She once again continued to walk but came to a sudden halt as she heard his low whistle and quietly growled, the more time she seemed to spend with the musician the more willing she was ready to just flat out kill him and worry about the consequences of her actions later. Turning he seen her wink and gripped her hanfu sleeves to prevent her calling on her shadow tanto as nothing would make her happier than taking his eyes out at the current moment in time but then he'd be even more of a burden as he'd be rolling around in pain screaming in agony but she still decided to weigh the options to see which would actually annoy her and most likely everyone else less. "If you insist in following me can you at least be quiet." she said with an annoyed tone, she was hoping to help another find his way but this could have just complicated things but that was something that only time would be able to tell at this point. Hearing the music she couldn't help but stop, she didn't understand why but the sound the instrument made seemed familiar perhaps it was something to do with who she was before she forgot everything. Her hand went to her head as she started to feel light headed and dizzy and so sat on the ground, right now she cared little for the state her clothing would look she just wanted this feeling to pass. "S-stop..." she whispered her voice sounding weak as she spoke, tears falling from her eyes "Please stop it..." she begged him, she wasn't ready for whatever just happened that was for sure.
When he stopped playing she managed to get her thoughts together after a few moments and so stood dusting her clothing off trying to take in what he was saying to her, it took a while but eventually she shook her head "Find out the cause is part of it, the next part is to take it out. I asked the one who seems to gain strength from the darkness to help." she said with a sigh looking up at the black moon "He seems lost and not able to comprehend that nothing has changed but the location of where he rests..." she admitted her eyes coming down "I was hoping that this might help him settle and find his purpose is the exact same as before, that his strength and pride haven't been taken just redirected and what he was already doing honours his new guild master." she hoped that it made sense to the other, but given how nonsensical he was at times she wouldn't ever put a bet on it as she may lose. It was then she heard the elder battle mages harsher tone she looked back a smile appearing on her face "A date with whom exactly? The musical child of moonbeam and sunflower? I think not" she huffed showing she wasn't amused by such an idea. "Yes, there's a reason for your presence here Lord Dahau, you are a follower of the darkness right now someone is claiming to be it's ruler, in doing so it means that they are claiming power over you and even our guild master, such things can't be allowed to stand." she said with a gentle tone a smile on her lips "Nothing is better to hunt than prey that can change their actions depending on their predators strategies." she said hoping the added challenge would be able to appease his foul mood.
"I give my most humble apologies, that was not my intention I thought you would have been in the guild catacombs or I would have requested your presence face to face." she said bowing a little showing she meant her words, this also showed she understood that he was stronger than herself and thus higher in the pecking order. "We are going to find out information and take out the impostor as well as any that may be following said person." she said with a grin hoping a chance to flex his muscles may be just what he needed, it was then she heard another giddy female voice that made her take a few steps back only to watch as they attempted to tackle hug the elder male, at that point she had no idea what to think or say, this was just getting stranger by the moment. "My name is Yuiisai, this musical idiot is Baird and I'm guessing you know Lord Dahau by your flying act." she said before turning walking back down the road with a hand going over her mouth as she yawned not even bothering with what happened next.

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
Baird Yuzill
Baird couldn't help but snicker, he kept his distance though from her as she talked to him. "My fangirls aren't entertaining to bed right now. They're all dumb bimbo broads anyways who want a quick lick. While, yeah, no strings attached is fun, I don't feel it right now." He shrugs his shoulders to her, but figured she wasn't looking at him. He would honestly tell that to anyone about his carefree lifestyle without a second thought of how others would look at him. When she turned down to look at him and asked him to be quiet while he followed her, Baird shook his head. "Not for long." He confessed with a grin on his face.
It indeed hadn't been long till he started to play his music. He didn't hear her whisper stop at first, but the second time, he did and felt upset that she wanted him to stop playing his music for her. He frowns and does. He listened to her reasoning for coming out here. Stop the darkness? But it looked like it could be fun to play in. He frowns as he leans back against the post again. He simply shrugged his shoulders, really not fully caring about that as he didn't bother paying much attention to other members. That was before Resi spoke up again about the date thing, and Dahau coming to their little rendezvous. He scoffed as he looked at her. "Moonbeam and sunflower? What blasphemy do you speak of woman?!" He jumped off the wall, Resi snickering at his feet. He was tempted to kick her now. Yuiisai continuing talking to Dahau had Baird pause as she mentioned hunting a prey. His lips curled up a little as he honestly liked the sound of that more than before. Like hell would he allow someone claim ownership of the guild he skipped into.
He looked back to the older mage, grinning a bit mischievously as he was hoping he'd take to the task, as he was already amped up and ready to go. He continued to grin, till someone came flying in, making him confused about what was there. He gripped his shamisen harder in his grasp, ready to use it on whomever was there. He raised an eyebrow to her as he didn't know how to respond to this... When the girl looked over at Baird after attempting to jump the older guy, he simply smirked at her, but other than that, his eyes looked dead. He could care less for this broad. She was another fangirl to him with how she already gawking at him. He looked over to Yuiisai after the girl introduced herself as Masha, and then cleared his throat once Yuii introduced both of them. "I'm a genius, thank you. A prodigy. A blessing, and a curse that happened to grace the land with his presence." He snickers to her, of course he couldn't help but feel excited from telling her that. His eyes went back to the other woman as she went up to him and went to Resi. He quickly took a couple steps away, leaving Resi alone with her as he begun running after Yuiisai while he was trying to hold his laughter. He knew what was to come next. And it might not be pleasant.
The fox looked up at the redhead, and simply started to glare at her. She started to growl as she crouched to her level, and when this bimbo decided to pull out meat, spiced meats, and give them to her, she let out a howl. The fox quickly shifted to that of a human and had her finger nail to her forehead while leaning forward at the hips. Her red hair was falling like a curtain around her face while her silver catlike eyes bore down into her. She wore what looked like a leather top that only covered her breasts, and a hide skirt. Clearly this half fox woman was ready for fights in her human form. "Listen here, girl. I'm not a pet you can freely feed. You try to feed me again, and I'll tear you a new one. Got it?" She grins in an unamused way as she let her fingernail drag across her forehead before she went walking after Baird, hips swaying with each step, flicking her tail. She then gasped a little as she turned her head over her shoulder to talk to her. "Oh, by the way, my name's Resi. Remember it, doll." She winks to her before she clung to Bairds arm, in which he immediately raised a hand and put it on her face to shover her off of his arm.
Resi froze for a moment, sniffing the air a bit and leaning forward as she walked. "We have company~!" She sung out just as a group of five pumpkin things came out from around a building. "Oh, cute. Kinpups." She says as Baird felt his excitement boil. His eyes widened in pure ecstasy as his adrenaline started to rush. "I'm glad I have Lullaby of the Wind now then." He couldn't help but mutter to himself as he pushed his way to the front of the group. He cracks his fingers before he begun to shred on the shamisen like a guitar a bit, but he didn't let it screech in any unnatural way. After the initial sound, he begun to play rather ferociously, grinning wildly as he looked at their enemies dead in what he assumed was their eyes. At the koma of his shamisen, air can barely be seen swirling into a ball before it let loose and smacked rather hard into at least three of the five kinpups and pushed the other two back some more. Yeah, it may not have been too great of a spell, but he had more up his sleeve still. He knew he still gave the others time to do their own things too, even though he wanted to charge in there like a mindless beast, Resi did too, but she typically kept herself behind him unless she felt he would be in danger.

Warrior's Heart:
Description: Long ago there was an era of Kings and Warlords waging war against each other over kingdoms for many years. Warriors and sellswords were well paid and became idols. The way of the warrior was a common path youngsters attempted to walk, but in order to become a true warrior they had to travel through dangerous lands to find the Warrior Saint. An old entity that would look into a warrior's heart and deem it worthy of his blessing. It would grant the warrior more courage and willpower than the ordinary man in times of need. One day the Warrior Saint disappeared and the age of warriors was over. However, some believed that some heroes still possessed the Warrior Saint's blessing. They said that a true warrior worthy of the blessing is blessed by the Warrior Saint at birth.
Ability: These descendants are known for courage and fighting prowess, along with making them immune to any fear or discouragement. Any weapon they wield adds 25% more overall damage to simulate their prowess on top of the increase the weapon already gives.
Usage: Passive.
- LULLABY OF THE WIND – B+:
- Name: Lullaby of the Wind
Rank: B+
Type: ReQuip, Offensive, Burst, Wind, knockback
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Lullaby of the Wind is a Shamisen, a three stringed musical instrument that has an oni on the back of it with clouds around him, looking like he’s controlling the wind. To cast it, the mage must call out the name of the instrument and hold their hand out to be able to hold it as soon as it’s in their grasp.
Passive: Typically, on its own, the back of Lullaby of the Wind can be used as a blunt object, like a mace much like Poseidon, and will deal rank melee damage plus 0.5 B+ rank spell damage as is.
Active: When strummed, Lullaby of the Wind can do some wind damage. When it’s strummed, the wind will collect right where the koma of the instrument is, and then let loose a burst of wind that deals B+ rank burst damage at 75 meters per seconds going out 60 meters from where it’s activated. The wind can also blow people back 15 meters who are out 55 meters from the wielder of the instrument. This lasts for one post, and has a five post cooldown.
Strengths:
~ Blunt object
~ Knockback
Weaknesses:
~ Wind Slayers can eat it
~ Those who have ways to steal themselves against it won’t be blown back
~ Can be stolen
~ Can be blocked when fighting with it.

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
Much to his surprise a rather familiar face appeared out of nowhere and joined the already peculiar group of mages. Almost with the power of a truck, she crashed into Dahau and threw her arms around him in a warm and not so subtle embrace. Since the girl was almost three decimeters shorter than him, Dahau couldn't help but look down his chest and gaze upon the overjoyed face of Masha. His surrogate daughter so to speak. She was grinning from ear to ear as she stared back at him with those turquoise gems that were her eyes. 'Hey there little one' he said even though she was far from little nowadays. It did seem her magical powers had flourished during his absence, which meant that the transition from Savage Skull to Nightmare must have been good for her. When she loosened her grip, Dahau moved his hand to her head and softly rustled his fingers through her crimson hair, before he focused on the rest of the mages again.
Just a moment earlier Yuiisai had explained why he was supposed to be here. Apparently there was an entity claiming the darkness as its own, which was in a direct conflict with their master. The true ruler, the Skull God of blood and war. So Yuiisai figured it was a good idea to hunt this being down and punish it for its insolence.
Normally Dahau would simply disregard such an activity as he was perfectly fine brooding in his room, however he had to admit, the sound of an actual hun did sound rather interesting. After all it had been so long since he had come close to anything that even resembled a proper challenge, and maybe this was it. His gaze quickly jumped towards Baird, who had the same mischievous look in his eyes. The same slumbering thirst for battle that slowly crawled its way up to the surface. A kindred soul. Dahau knew that the green haired mage would enjoy a hunt just as much as he always did.
The others also introduced themselves to the newest member of their small party, Yuiisai as stoic as always and Baird, well... being Baird. And even the small woodland critter that had been resting on Baird's shoulder introduced itself. It even changed, much to Dahau's surprise. With a poof in turned into a tall redhead with a rather muscular build and immediately told Masha off. 'Well, aren't you the feisty one' responded Dahau amused upon hearing her lighthearted threat. 'But be careful though, sometimes your own threat can come around and bite yourself in the ass, especially when there are far more dangerous predators around' Obviously he was hinting at himself, since he didn't take any threats lightly, not to himself and definitely not to those he had took under his wing.
However, before the conversation could steer any further they seemed to have company. Then fox girl, probably relying on her animal instincts, noticed the creatures first. Appearing out of almost nowhere, were five canine like creatures who growled at the group of mages. It were beasts unlike anything Dahau had seen before, and he'd seen some strange stuff. Their eyes were pitch-black and they these obsidian fangs sticking out of their maw, from which an orange glowing substance drooled. But that wasn't even the strangest part, the rest of their body looked like as if it was entirely made out of a pumpkin!
The creatures didn't attack right away, instead they circled around them, slowly while never taking their eyes off their prey. Obviously they were assessing the mages, trying to see who was the weakest among them and hoping to find some sort of opening so that they could attack. However they never got the chance, since Baird had decided to draw first blood. From his instrument he had summoned a twirling orb of wind and air, and by hitting a final tone the green haired mage shot the ball of air with force into three of the nearest creatures. While the remaining two got only pushed back.
'Nice work' stated Dahau, with the creatures momentarily in disarray it was the perfect chance to deal massive damage in an allot yet combined attack. 'Now let's hit them hard!' As he said that he threw his hand forwards, as in a command for the others to engage, as well as summoning forth two large cannon-barrels which immediately unleashed a barrage of magical shots upon the two hounds that were only knocked back. Which stopped the moment the other mages started to attack.

Re: Unexpected Time of Chaos
Masha leaned into Dahau's hand, listening to the female mage named Yuiisai. She chuckled at the woman's assertion that she knew Dahau. "You could say that. He's... hmph... He's like my foster father." That sounded about right. She'd been raised by him after all. "He raised me from twelve or thirteen to twenty or so." It was difficult to really determine her age when they had no idea when she'd been born. That wasn't something she liked to think about. It made her feel like more of an orphan, like an outcast. Time to step away from that line of thinking. "I'm not sure he liked it when I discovered boys could be a lot of fun." She winked saucily. "How many guys did you tear apart when they tried to date me?" Masha asked innocently looking up at Dahau. Despite being gruesome, she enjoyed those memories. They let her feel as if someone cared about her in those early days. Not that Masha knew if Dahau cared about her or not. She had never straight up asked him.
When the fox transformed to tell Masha up, the succubus didn't let her surprise show. Her expression turned ugly as she slowly straightened. "Listen sweetheart take the stick outta your ass. Otherwise, I'll tear your arm off and use it to pull it out. Afterwards, I might be nice enough to sew it back on but only cause you have a nice ass." She sneered, an expression truly worthy of the old days. This fox girl was not going to walk over her just because she was legal now. No one was allowed to walk all over her. Artemis' face popped into her head. Mmmm maybe him and only in bed. Otherwise nobody. When the fox girl introduced herself, Masha rolled her eyes. "Blow me. It'll make a more lasting memory then your name will." An unfortunate truth for the succubus. She remembered her lays more often then the names of the people that went with those lays. Baird's treatment of the fox-girl made Masha giggle. Clearly, Resi was fairly arrogant and even her owner didn't really want her around.
The announcement of enemies set Masha's body into overdrive. She would love to hit something after Resi's words. Stupid jumped up pup. Dahau's work was impressive, as always. Masha didn't know if he'd had that spell while raising her but she clapped her hands. Her turn. The transfer of power from her entities came quickly. A red rune formed over the back of her fists. With a bloody grin, the succubus charged forward. The wolves were recovering from Baird's spell met her charge. Stupid. Beasts were no fun to fight. Masha planted herself fifteen meters from the beasts and punched. An explosion rippled out from the strike. One of the wolves was engulfed, killing it instantly. The others closed on Masha faster than she anticipated. Teeth sank into one arm. The other wolf's head disappeared in another explosion with Masha's second strike. The succubus grimaced at the wolf chewing on her arm. "Get lost." Two successive punches blew apart the wolf's body. Excellent, only two to deal with. Masha turned toward her opponents, unsure if her fellow mages had already dealt with them.

Description: The caster calls upon Akane for her power. The fiery entity places an enchantment upon the caster’s fists. This enchantment takes the form of a red rune floating above the back of the caster’s fists. When the caster strikes, a small explosion expands from the front of the fist. The rune fades once the spell duration is up.
