BLACK DAYDREAMS • [Black Rose VS Nightmare] • B

It was an average day for Black Rose. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and Rose Garden was at peace. What nobody knew, however, was that dark clouds were on the horizon. Not only was a storm brewing from the northeast, blown straight to Fiore from Iceberg, but there was something else creeping around the corner. The afternoon showers were nearing, as was a force to be reckoned with.

But the guild knew nothing of this. The undeground Library was due for cleaning that day, and Sova, the eight foot tall obsidian-feathered owl was doing his best to dust off books and shelves. Plenty of other Black Rose members were helping the librarian. Upstairs in the inn, life continued as normal. It was the lunch rush, and fresh drinks and food were being prepared and eaten by the minute.

Izayuki herself was helping Sova underground, seeing to it that the furniture and relics in the library were polished and shiny. Others were in charge of cleaning the carpets and floors, while some were left to sort leftover stacks of books. Though the chores were tedious, the guild master could not complain. They were blessed to have such an extensive library, after all. That, and she was quite proud of the secrets the guild possessed and protected deep within the belly of the almost infinite library. With her were Kiru, Sakura, and Oras, off doing their own thing, be it engaging in all the library had to offer, or assisting her and Sova with the spring cleaning.

Upstairs in Silver Moon Inn and restaurant, customers, paid employees, and guildmembers alike were either enjoying a nice lunch or assisting with the tedious work of running the inn. At the very least, Lilium, Caelum, Itazura, Irina, and a few others were up there, representing the guild to the guests in whatever way, shape, or form.

The storm clouds drew closer, as did the evil that prepared to strike the guild at its heart. But was Black Rose prepared? No. Today was an average Monday, what did they expect other than to carry on as normal?

If you are in Black Rose, you are defending Silver Moon Inn, rescuing civilians, and keeping the guildhall from being destroyed.
If you are in Nightmare, you are invading Silver Moon Inn, causing a diversion to keep the Black Rose members occupied and unable to go down to the Library to help. Kill whomever you like.

This is a PLOT BASED battle. Stats are not calculated unless you and the person you are fighting wish it. To land a hit on someone, there must be consent by the other player. We encourage use of the words ‘aimed’ or ‘attempted’ to hit to give the target a chance to dodge.

The courtesy rule is no more than 3 dodges in a row. Less is encouraged.
This fight is for fun, not for the sake of winning or putting your character on a pedestal or making them the ‘hero’ or ultimate villain.

Nightmare members may die, revive in their guildhall, and return to the fight via a portal. You may opt to Thread A within reason, with permission.
Black Rose members may die and revive with plot devices should they have any, or opt to be captured.

As was typical of the weasel yokai, he was in the Silver Moon Inn, squatting on one of the bar seats, his nimble hands comfortably planted on the counter. He repetitively tapped his fingers, his hazel eyes watched the busy employees go about their jobs. To say the least, he was bored, as he often would. This world couldn't often keep up with his short attention span. He didn't have anything to do, so instead he was at the bar, eating and drinking. Well at least waiting for his food and drink, the bartenders and waiters saw his orders as less prevalent then the actual customers, considering he wasn't paying. So instead he waited. And I say he had nothing to do, that isn't true, he has plenty of things he could do. He could be helping out down in the library, but you know, that just isn't that fun. Plus he couldn't really read, so if sorting books was needed, he wouldn't really help in the regard. He would most likely be in the way and just messing stuff up anyways, so even if he decided to try and help, he would most likely be kicked out right away. Thus he remained at the bar.
To ease his boredom he left his seat to pace around and either annoy or entertain them with his general attitude and habits. Chatting them up, listening to random things that normal people say when they talk to 'friendly' strangers. The people the knew him tolerated his presence, shaking their heads at the weird things he said or the strange things he did. Attempting to wave him away when he got annoying, which tended to be right away. Occasionally a waiter or waitress would have to come fetch him to stop him from bothering the customers. Scolding him despite knowing how useless the attempt was, before having to get back to work. They eventually figured the should get him his food before he scared away the guests and wasted more of the time that they needed to use to work. The ayakashi got himself comfortable back at one of the bar seats, surprisingly enough, there was still one available for him to sit in. He talked to the people beside him in between chugging his drink or scarfing down his food. Just a normal day for the Ace.

Mythica certainly did make a glorious mess of things. Though the destruction was likely unnecessary, the Daemon had no complaints. Furniture was a mass production of the physical world, and could quite easily be purchased again if the guild even survived this. As the dragon girl had an outburst at the grinning clock-eyed girl, the Daemon would walk into the Inn, phasing right through Mythica in order to get by. Her guildmate would likely feel a haunting chill as the astral projection passed through her. The souls of the ones who died in Mythica’s explosion began to gravitate towards the Daemon, should one have the ability to see them. Ravenously, her own soul would absorb and devour the souls of the dead and dying. They did not give her much in the way of power, but at least were a little snack for a tiny boost in energy. It was hard to fight when hungry, after all.

When the dragon girl of Black Rose shot a dozen rounds towards them, Lucie stretched her hand out towards them, quickly turning them into diamond shards. As quickly as she had converted the bullets into diamonds, the Daemon would release the dozen diamond shards towards the dragon girl, fully intent on killing. It was for Chaoris, after all, and was yet furthering her own revenge on the Magic Council. Why any guild would align themselves with the corrupt bureaucracy was beyond her understanding.

Battle Log:

First attacks were always dodged or blocked. Lucie knew nothing other than that fact. However, Caelum would not be so lucky the next time around. While the Daemon knew that the volcanic magic she had up her sleeve could endanger her allies, it did not mean that she was completely unable to fight with them around. Utilizing her astral body, Lucie took the attack of Caelum, allowing the sword to phase through her. Her astral projection did sustain damage, but the Daemon herself was not hurt from the stroke of the sword.

Lucie nodded to her guildmate as he began playing his flute, and watched in contentment as many of the Black Rose members began to fall asleep to the deadly lullaby. Using the opportunity her guildmate provided her, Lucie whipped around on the dragon girl, summoning a diamond dagger to her hand to strike the girl with. At such close range, it would be difficult to dodge or block. If Caelum did, however, she had a devastating backup plan. The Daemon wanted to end this as quickly as possible.

Battle Log:

The Daemon blinked as the companion of Caelum cut her attack, bestowing a shield upon her and her comrade. Far from amused, Lucie watched Caelum bring out a summon-- a small beastlike girl. This was beginning to grow annoying-- allies would not save her opponent, and it was far from honorable to use others to fight for one.

“Jordskjelv,” the raven-haired girl murmured. Upon her naming the spell, the ground would begin to quake violently, shaking the soil and foundation and bedrock within a good fifty meters. The inn itself would begin to crumble some, and those around would find it difficult to maintain their balance. Within that magical earthquake of the behemoth slayer, the dragon girl summoned to their battle would vanish-- the spell used to summon her rendered negated and unable to be used for a while.

None of her spells were useful here, as she risked caving the building in on her guildmates down below in the underground library, or harming her allies there on the surface. Regardless, Lucie planned to finish this once and for all. Bright electricity began to form around her, and directing her hand forward, she would aim for three lightning bolts to take out the feline’s shields. With that outstretched hand, the Daemon would then generate fifty thin ice slivers-- tiny needle shards that would home on on her opponent. The volcanic slayer was in no mood to prolong this fight when there were other things that needed to be done.
