”Okay, lads,” a strange voice spoke upon the group’s entrance to Magnolia Town. A rather young, bearded male spoke to the rest of his cloaked fellows: “I’m sure you can feel it by now… the distinguishing change in nature. There must be another Onmyōji in this town… thus more targets.” The rest nodded and began looking around, one of them suggesting that they find a small place - a room in a motel or an abandoned corner in an alley - to regroup frequently. The idea was accepted, and they suddenly scattered…
Having spread every part of his body to reach every edge of his bed - a type of action that reveals the tensions of his nights’ experiences - Mura was heavily woken up by the unforgiving clock above the front of his bed. Great, a headache was a quick way to start the day with! “N-Nng…” he yawned, stretching and donning his green leggings and sand-colored shirt. Without hesitation, he walked towards the corner of the room and swung his hand in a vertical movement, causing the collapsible wall to reveal today’s work - koi.
His father had sent him some white and orange koi to farm out in his garden. He hadn’t used the garden for much prior to this day, and the tall grass was beginning to bewilder the area in the middle of certain suburban atmospheres. The koi were in small plastic bags with water, and his work was rather easy pieces of cake and cookies; thanks to his Onmyōdō magic, bending the very grass and earth to his will proved efficient in constructing a fish paradise where dirt suddenly turned into long tracks of water where the koi could swim across. After a few seconds, his work was done - a large pool in the middle along with ‘roads’ for the koi to exercise through. He admired his work from the edge of the pool, looking mighty proud of his fish.
“They’re so cute…”
