Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Rosabell 6th August 2018, 10:52 pm

Darkness..that was all Rosabell saw in front of her. She was standing somehow, the gaping hole in her chest still all too visible..but strangely there was no blood. As a matter of fact she seemed to be completely clean for some reason, as clean as she was before the whole ordeal with Lothric started.

She tried to move, finding it surprisingly easy to do so. Yet still, all she saw was darkness. It was in every direction, even under her. Was this hell? Then suddenly as if in response to her inner question a light appeared in the distance. Having nothing better to do, she immediately ran over to the light, happy to see that her body wasn't in pain at all, yet in shock as she seemed to be walking on nothingness. Figuring that this light would lead to a way out, she would immediately jumped through.

She would come to regret this decision.

As soon as she stepped through she came upon a familiar sight. A wooded battle field with two broken bodies in across from each other. One being herself, bleeding profusely from the head and crawling towards the other body her wings and tail seemingly starting to dissipate into sparkles of magical aura. The other body..it was Lothric. Her eyes immediately widened in fear as she realized what was about to happen. "NO! STAY AWAY FROM HER. SHE'S GOING TO KILL YOU!" Her voice was one of grief and desperation as she tired to go and rescue herself from the fate that was to come.

Yet, she couldn't get there. No matter how much she ran, no mater ho hard she tried..she couldn't get over to her body. It was like she was on a treadmill, desperately trying to reach a fruitless goal..

She watched with horror as the scene unfolded, using every bit of energy she had to heal Lothric, her enemy. Being lifted up ever so gently..and then the skewer of stone.. She did what her body could not do in that situation..she screamed..she screamed in unending agony and sorrow, the hole in her chest suddenly burning as if set on fire. She fell to her knees..sobbing her eyes out in pain and sorrow.

Suddenly..the floor began to crack the whole scene beginning to shatter as she saw Lothric pick up her own blade, and then it was gone. She fell, fell into blackness landing on her legs the pain now in her chest now gone. With a choked and broken voice, she called out to the emptiness.
    "H-hello...?"

    But no one came.

Tucking her knees into her chest she began to sob more, the emptiness consuming her. Suddenly amidst her sobbing she saw something, red eyes piercing the darkness, looking at her hungrily. She tried to back up, but then suddenly a new pair of eyes appeared, and another, and another, and another..eventually she was surrounded. She was shaking in fear, the fright far to much for her to handle and then suddenly she felt it. One of the eyes lashed out with a shadowy hand grasping her shoulder roughly. Soon all of them followed suit placing their hands on her body, her legs, her head, her stomach, her bosom, even her throat. Then like a bell reverberating throughout the darkness..she heard it once again, her eyes filling with fear.

    "Earth Dragon Skewer."

She awoke with a scream. Her golden eyes suddenly seeing the clear blue sky.

She was covered in sweat, her dried blood all over her body appearing moist and fresh. She looked down at her chest to see that the gaping hole was no longer there, an extremley ugly scar in place of where it should have been. The back of her head hurt like hell, and so did the chest wound but to a much lesser degree than she remembered earlier. It was at that point that she realized that she was alive.

But how? No one could survive a wound like that, especially nt someone as weak as herself..

Then she noticed it..out of the corner of her eye was Lothric..dead in a kneeling postion. Looking over at her 'murderer' she didn't understand what she felt. No anger..no sadness..no greif..not even confusion..she just felt empty..apathetic. Rubbing her chest wound once more she looked over to the woman the realization of what happened coming to her at full force.

Lothric had healed her..whether she killed herself out of guilt, or beacuse she didn't want her pain to last..she would never know. If only she hadn't been so weak..if only she hadn't been so..so..useless. If she had been stronger, she could have just knocked the woman out and left, but beacuse of her..she was dead.

All of this..all of this was her fault..amd there was nothing she could do to fix it. Tears fell once more.
    "I-I'm sorry..I'm so, so sorry.."

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Lothric 6th August 2018, 11:51 pm

She was long, long dead. Her body was covered in blood, her clothes were covered in blood, everything on her person was covered in blood. Her mouth wasn't agape however, it wasn't twisted in pain and captured there, instead it looked peaceful. It was horrifying with the scarlet lacing her body but if you took that away... It looked impossibly serene.

    Until she twitched.

The bone jutting out of Lothric's elbow, cracked and near-shattered, rebuilt itself with sickening sounds before squelching back inside of her body. The blood she had left, dried on the grass, even the blood farther away in the distance, all of the blood she had dropped liquified and came back to her. The red streaks coming out of her eyes, mouth, and her wounds, they all bent back on themselves and sucked into her body where they should be.
    She twitched again.
Lothric's hand, limp with her fingers brushing the ground, suddenly grabbed the hilt of her sword, ripping it out of her body with obscene force before tossing it to the side. A fountain of blood started spraying out of her body, some of it probably getting on Rosa with the range of the spray. An inhuman amount of blood, a disturbing amount of blood, painting everything in front of her red.
And then it all came back in.
All of the liquid forced itself back into her chest cavity, some of it even stopping mid-air to turn around to jam inside of her. Drop by drop every milliliter of scarlet returned to her body.

    Lothric's eye went wide.

The swordsman collapsed onto her side, taking weak little breaths, her eye starting to roll back into her head. Little, pathetic choking noises escaped her lips, before a torrent of vomit erupted from her mouth and coated the ground in front of her. Lothric grabbed her throat with both hands, coughing, choking, gasping for air, breathing heavily, taking in as much as she could. She had essentially been holding her breath for around twelve hours, this was her first oxygen since she ran herself through with her katana. Her body convulsed rapidly, she curled into a fetal position with tears pouring out of her eye.
An abrupt, sharp intake of breath.

Lothric sat up, holding her head with both hands and wiping the tears and vomit away. Her dress retained the holes but she wasn't concerned with that right now. She had made quite a mess either way, so-
Her eye caught the surely terrified Rosa, just a few meters away from her. It widened significantly, and she actually looked genuinely scared.
"Y-you... You weren't... supposed to see that... You weren't supposed to wake up yet, you weren't supposed to be healed yet..." She said, pointing with a trembling hand. Quickly, she spun around and grabbed her katana now pointing the edge at her throat even though she was over three meters away.

Lothric's fear however turned to insanity, as hand came to her face and she started laughing rather maniacally.
"You of all people, you were not supposed to see that! I think I actually might have to kill you now, ahahaha! I'll have to kill you for real now no healing this time you've seen too much! I had to kill you so you wouldn't see this but I decided to heal you anyway I hoped you wouldn't wake up for another few hours but you woke up now how ironic how ironic how ironi-" She vomited again, the foul liquid splashing onto the ground. Dropping her sword Lothric fell to her knees, clutching her chest tightly. "N-no... N-n-no please stop no m-" Before she could finish pleading to god knows what she threw up some more, repeating the same plead and vomit cycle another five or six times until she barely even looked alive once again. Now she had to gasp for breath a second time, a mixture of green and saliva dribbling down her face. She forced herself onto her knees only to fall back down and do you know what she did next? She threw up again. It was getting very unhealthy now, obviously. The swordsman looked unnaturally pale, ghostly white.

And then... Lothric grabbed her head tightly, squirming around on the spot as she started screaming. Unimaginable pain all over her body like she was only just now realizing all of the damage that had been done. She coughed, throwing up a pitiful little few specks. It seemed she had nothing left in her, she'd only vomited upwards of ten times by now. Her little body couldn't seem to take anymore however and now she was experiencing rejection.
    So she screamed some more.
She screamed like someone was going to hear her, like someone was going to help her, but nobody was. She'd obliterated any sense of trust the woman next to her could ever possibly have. She screwed up, she had healed much too effectively and this was the price she was paying - albeit the show she was putting on right now was present every time she woke up.

She screamed and cried, tears pouring out of her one eye was she shook her head like it couldn't be real. This pain couldn't be real, there was no way it was real! She clawed at her face, she tore at her face, but she was much to weak to do any actual damage, just light scrapes. She knew this tree was fruitless so instead she just covered her eye and her eye hole, squeezing her eye shut and rocking back and forth.
    That didn't work.
She coughed between screams, louder than before, twitching and convulsing and spasming until...
She couldn't take it now, she couldn't take it anymore, Lothric fell forward and landed her face in her own puddle but that didn't matter to her because she was out, cold. Her body trembled when it took breaths, but it still trembled, it still took breaths, it was still alive.

    Once more, Lothric was alive.

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Rosabell 7th August 2018, 9:28 pm

Rosabell watched with absolute horror as the surely dead woman was suddenly filled with life, pulling the sword that had pierced her entire body out with relative ease. The large amoun of blood that spilled out going everywhere..her face included.

She froze, the fresh spatter of blood that had gotten in her eyes and mouth paralyzing her. Suddenly a familiar feeling filled her body, that same feeling she felt right before she was stabbed through the chest..fear. Unending, paralyzing fear. It was at that moment that she realized something..she had gained hemophobia..a fear of blood. She couldn't do anything, she couldn't scream, she couldn't cry..she was just there, paralyzed in fear.

Thankfully god seemed to be on her side, as all the blood suddenly flew off of her and went back into Lothric's wound. Just like that..she was able to move gain, the fear was no longer there, despite dried blood still being all over her body. It was probably an irrational relief, a simple reflex of having a sudden cause of fear removed from her. On top of this Loth seemed to be in excruciating pain, this whole revival thing must've hurt a crapton for someone as powerful as Lot to be in pain. She should've been happy, gleeful at the thought of the woman who shattered her being this way..but she wasn't. There it was again..that emptiness..that hollow hole in place of her happiness.

She barley registered the womans threat..her sword pointing at her throat, and the constant notion of the woman wanting to be kill her once more. She had already come to terms with dying..yet this woman seemed to heal her..the question was..why? Rosa was nothing, scum, trash on the bottom of someones shoe yet..this..this woman..no..this immortal goddess had thought she was good enough to spare. For the first time that day..she felt happiness, elation..admiration.

Her old self would've looked on in disgust..admiring your murderer, what kind of sick mindset was that? Rosa's mindset, that's what it was. This holy being was not only an angel of death, but an angel of mercy. Two polar oppisites all merged within one brilliant vessel, something Rosabell shouldn't even be in the presence of. She understood everything now..she had to die so that her lords godhood would be kept a secret, well her lips were sealed not only in respect..but in fear of the neverending wrath that her lord would bestow upon her should she do so.

Seeing her lady lying there in unconciousness, it should have filled her with hate, anger, the want to slit her throat over and over again, watching in glee as she writhed in pain once revived only to die immedialtey after experincing that neverending torture, over..and over..and OVER..AND OVER, aNd OvER..AnNnNnD OvVveER..exeprincing the same pain.the same torture..the same shattering of the mind..

    But she wouldn't.

This woman was holy..sent by the gods themselves..suffering a fate like that from something as low and worthless as herself, that in itself was a sin worth burning in hell for eternity over. SHe wasted no time, tearing off one of the few no bloodied peices of her shirt, before wordlessly summoning one of her wolves of ice.

Reaching over, she would pat the creature on the head lovingly, before crushing its icy skull with inhuman strength watching with bliss as it screamed in pain before falling into ice and snow. Grabbing a handfull of the cold substance she would rub it into the cloth making it cool and moist. Reaching over to her goddess, she would gently flip her onto her back..a shiver going down her spine as she felt her holy skin upon her fingers, before laying the cloth over her forehead and backing away quickly. Sitting there and staring at the downed god in disguise, a look of pure awe and adoration upon her face.

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Lothric 8th August 2018, 12:12 am

A light groan, the lid of her eye cracking, light flooding the sphere. Was it always this bright out!? She covered her eye, trying to block the sun from blinding her until she could adjust even slightly to this blinding light. Now, the girl was actually alive. There would be no more vomiting even if her stomach felt weak... She hoped, at least. Usually it stopped after the first bout but occasionally she threw up a little more, but she'd already done it around ten times already so envisioning herself doing it again seemed impossible.

Lothric's tiny body trembled, and she coughed a little, just light ones, saliva dribbling out of her lips as she sat up. A rag fell from her head... With ice in it? Her eye grew narrow and she swiftly twisted around to see her opponent, Rosa, sitting there with quite possibly the dumbest look she had ever seen in her life, smeared all over her face. A hand came up to her face to slap her forehead, shaking it gently. As soon as the girl tried to speak she pointed at her.
"No," She hissed lowly. "I am not a god. Don't even ask me if I'm a god. Jesus, you're just as dense as the rest of them..."
Lothric stood up, picking her sword up as she went and pointing it, once more, at the girl.
"It's a curse that I received, I don't know why. Any time I die, I re-awake like you just saw. Usually it's about twelve hours later or so. That is all."

"The reason I had to oh so tragically betray you, blah blah blah, all that shit," She uttered the words like they meant nothing to her because they really didn't, waving her sword around as she talked. "Is precisely for the reason you see right here. It's just easier and I don't have to explain everything. Besides, had I simply killed myself and left you alive you might've buried me or something. As an Earth Dragon Slayer that wouldn't really bother me but I can still suffocate eternally..." She shook her head and shuddered at the thought.

It had nearly happened before, as well.

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Rosabell 10th August 2018, 3:30 pm

Rosabell tilted her head curiously as the woman spoke and waved her pointy stick around at her once more, her eyes narrowing slightly as the woman let her thoughts on how insignificant she was become clear. Immortal Goddess denying her status or not, life was supposed to mean something..and treating others lives like worthless trash just because you can't die..it was horrible. Although if she had to experience the pain the woman looked like she was in every time she got cocky..she might end up a little cynical to others mortality as well.

But that wasn't the point, Rosabell didn't have immortality like Lothric did, and seeing her dismiss life like that..it pissed her off. That feeling she recognized from earlier returned, anger, rage, sorrow, wrath.. She didn't understand why she felt this way either, she wasn't the type of person to have feelings like this, she was supposed to be understanding, gentle, and able to accept people as they are, not get angry like a wild beast every time that someone said something she disliked.

Of course at that moment she wasn't thinking very rationally, her anger just getting more and more prevalent with each passing second. She was still wise enough to know that attacking a god was a bad decision, especially one that was a runaway. So she instead let her feeling s be known with words. "You..you think life means nothing!? You think that mortality is a joke!? Maybe you don't understand Miss. Somehow immortal 'not goddess' with the power to slay dragons with a flick of the wrist, but..not everyone is like you! Not all of us get out of death scot free, only feeling pain for a few moments before getting back up like it's nothing! Not all of us don't have to worry about our dreams being crushed in an instant! Not all of us..have n-nothing to l-lose...."

Tears were now building up in the corners of her eyes, as the thought of her dying once again filled her mind, all the things she would leave unfinished based on the whim of some goddess..who didn't understand what true death was. "Yet..yet..you look down on people like me..people who have feelings..people who..get hurt for the sake of someone else's sake..people who are willing to forgive being almost murdered after giving someone the chance to live.." Her tears were now falling freely with her bangs covering her eyes, and if someone was to look at her eyes under that shade of hair, they'd find them puffy and red eyed in defeat.

"Do you know how happy I was..at the fact that you were going to survive after I healed your wounds..? Do you know how happy I was when..when I saw you stand up just now..? Do you know how hard it was..to throw away my hatred and forgive you, to not slit your throat thousands of times over watching you revive and writhe in agony over and over!?" Her voice was getting choked and desperate now, her tears growing in amount rapidly, clutching her head an beginning to rock back in forth in seeming agony. "E-even now..despite you spitting on my hope..a-and making it seem like my life is worthless..d-despite..you saying that you murdered me out of c-convinence for yourself..I-..I still..f-forgive y-you.." All was silent for a brief moment, her rocking stopped and her sobs turned into inaudible whimpers.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURTS!?"

She was now sobbing full force again, whatever little sense of rationality she had left leaving her as she tucked her knees into her chest, rocking back and forth rapidly. The chest wound was burning again..just like in the nightmare..and it hurt..it hurt oh so much..

And this time..she didn't think it was going away..

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Lothric 11th August 2018, 7:18 pm

This girl spoke, she spoke too much, she spoke with no idea what exactly she was speaking of. Lothric couldn't take it, wouldn't take it, and she certainly did not take it. The one-eyed swordsman grabbed both sides of her head, pushing her hair out of the way. The words hurt, they stung, they violated her brain in ways it shouldn't be violated and she wanted to make it stop, it needed to stop right now! Her body trembled, she bent over, she tossed herself back and forth trying to shake the words out of her head because she hated them being in there but the woman kept speaking, kept speaking, and then she screamed. Lothric screamed back.
"SHUT UP!" Her eye went wide, bloodshot, a tiny island of black surrounded by a vast expanse of white. The girl lunged forward and grabbed the girl by the collar- no, by the neck, picked her up, and held her in the air with an increasingly tight grip on her throat.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up! Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up! You have no idea what you're talking about, you have no idea at all, so you need to shut up!" She screamed, she screamed right at her face, before slamming the girl into the ground. Lothric threw her katana away, her face twisted into an incomprehensible amount of pure, unbridled rage. "What do you think I just did!? Do you think I just took a god damned nap!? I stabbed myself, I struggled, and I bled out for at least a minute! You felt a FRACTION of the pain I feel every time I lose, every time I die! You don't know what it's like to die, you don't know what it's like to be unable to die! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL!" She picked the girl up and choke slammed her once again, as if to prove her point through pure violence. "I wanted to be nice, but it always got me killed, I always die in the end! I'm no goddess, I'm no demon, I'm nothing more than a human! I don't kill dragons with a flick of my wrist, I owe my life to a dragon! I'm not even strong enough to TOUCH a dragon, you're just weak with too big of an ego to believe it!" Lothric was grabbing her face, covering her empty eye, breathing heavily like she was about to vomit. She embodied nothing except rage. "Not only that, but you left yourself wide open, TWICE! I obviously have no intent of accepting your thanks, I have no intent of leaving you alive after what you just said to me! I'm above nobody, people look down on me because I'm WEAK. I'M. WEAK."
Once more she lifted the girl up, this time throwing her into a tree so she'd land sitting. A foot came up to her throat, slowly restricting her ability to breathe but leaving just enough air for her to stay conscious, to hear her anger, to feel her wrath.

"I know very well what pain and betrayal feel like, and having your little party parade shit on because I ran you through doesn't give you the right to vomit words like you know true pain! You don't know! You don't know anything!"

"I KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURTS, I KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURTS AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!" Her voice was laced with cracks, tears were streaming only out of one eye because the other lacked any kind of emotion as always.
    Just a gaping hole.
    A reminder.

"Don't forgive me, be mad at me, you good for nothing idiot! Be mad! Don't try to be my friend, I want nothing to do with you! I am no goddess, I am no demon, but I am going to be your death if you don't learn to shut up!" She removed her foot from Rosa's throat, and delivered a kick to the side of her head only to rush over and pick her up, by her neck, one last time. She brought the woman's face level with her own, only to scream at it.
"NOW DO NOT SPEAK TO ME AGAIN, UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!"
And then she slammed her into the ground.

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Rosabell 11th August 2018, 8:10 pm

Rosabell couldn't see anymore, she couldn't speak either, she couldn't smell, she couldn't even feel, but the one thing that she still could do..was hear. The beatings the chocking..it hurt, it hurt oh so much, but the pain in the woman's voice..the pain that was laced with every word the woman said, the sorrow and despair exuding from her voice..

That was worse than any wound that could possibly be inflicted to her.

Memories from hours earlier began to resurface, wounds that should've stayed closed permanently were opened once more. Blood..blood was everywhere. The ground was soaked with it from every time the woman slammed her down, her facial features were simply not there due to how much of it was on her face, her hair and skin seeming to be a part of one another. The tree where she was thrown against had a giant spatter, soaking the entire trunk and the surrounding ground, as the impact made the wound on the back of her head reopen. The damage from her internal organs seemed to have returned full force, but what hurt most of all..was that wound on her chest. It was in perfect shape, not a scratch on it-the scar still showing clearly through her ripped shirt.

Yet despite it being the only part of her body without showing pain, it burned.

It seared worse than a hot brand being pressed against her chest, a never ending burning that refused to go away. It hurt so much that her body just instinctively thrashed, amidst her own giant puddle of blood that she bathed in, she thrashed in agony. She tried everything to make it go away, she scratched her face repeatedly, she slammed her face against the ground, she rolled over multiple times, and the screams..the screams were ear piercing, and the most loud of anything she had ever produced. The adrenaline from her pain only made her wounds spout blood faster, soaking the ground with puddles like the aftermath of a warzone. She felt lightheaded, extremely so, but the pain never receded, her mind replaying Lothrics agonized words over, and over and over. But amidst her thrashing she saw something..the katana that discarded katana that was pointed at her earlier. She had a way to make this pain stop, it was right in front of her. All she had to do was beg..beg like a wounded animal.

And if that was all it took to make it stop..she would do it a thousand times over.

Looking up towards her assailant that she couldn't even see she screamed out in a pleading manner, her words chocked by her own blood in her mouth.
"K-kill me..K-k-kill me..I w-won't be mad, I w-won't hate you for it..K-kill me..please..Kill me, Kill me, Kill me, KILL ME, END IT PLEASE, KILL ME. YOu HaT-" She coughed for a second, spitting blood out onto the ground barley making the giant puddle of pain and agony grow."Y-you..you h-h-hate me right..? I-it should..It should be easy then..just..kill me..please..make it end..y-you win..y-you're right..l-love doesn't exist..hope is f-for..the weak..t-there..I a-admitted it..j-jut f-finish w-what you started.."

More coughing, more blood more pain..maybe this time..it would be over. She had long accepted her death, she had long accepted that her dreams would die unfulfilled..the time and place didn't matter anymore at this point."H-h-heh..heh..b-but..t-that must m-make me weak t-then..b-because..even now..even after all of t-this m-meaningless t-torture..I w-would still a-approach you in that d-dark forest..a-and..I would s-still offer..t-the..way to the nearest..i-inn.."

With that she would fall her head landing face first in that puddle of blood. Her thrashing had stopped, but the searing pain remained. There was no more use in resisting now, nothing would make it go away, even in death..she bet that it would follow her. Even if the woman didn't accept her begging request..she would die of blood loss anyways,so..what's the point in trying anymore?

"You didn't even hear a word I said, did you...?"  She sighed, her head in her hands, uninterested in the woman's senseless thrashing, blood spraying onto her clothes, her arms, her legs, face, hands, her body as a whole, and what wasn't covered by her incessant spewing was painted red when the liquid streaked down her body, gravity taking it's course to use her as a canvas. She was disappointed, disappointed in this woman. So weak, so pathetic. She didn't think it could get any worse... All of those words... All of those screams...
And the best she could do was beg for death?

Lothric's eye widened once again, even angrier than before. Beg for death? Beg for death!? All of those words of her pain and suffering, and she wanted death!? After all of that, saying how painful it was, and she wanted... Death...
"You aren't going to know the sweet, permanent release of death, you're going to suffer just like I do until you understand!" She yelled at the to-be corpse, before letting fly an animalistic scream. The nerve, it was unbearable! She couldn't stand it, she couldn't stand the nerve of this woman to ask for what she had just tried so hard to dissuade, for what she had just tried so hard to explain the pain of, the suffering of! All of that and she wanted to just feel it for herself!
She stepped silently over to the girl, knowing that she could still hear her words somewhere in the nightmare. Lothric kneeled down and gently brushed the blood-matted hair away from the woman's ear, pressing her lips against it and letting a soft whisper escape her lips.
"It's like my pain is a joke to you... I can show you true pain if you really want it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to kill you for it. If you want to talk about true pain I will gladly slit your throat and heal the wound until you stop screaming, stop resisting, and accept it every single time."

The swordsman pushed Rosa over onto her back, forcefully pouring mana into the only healing spell she could possibly do, one she had only glimpsed before, one she hardly knew how to do. Cuts started searing up her arms as her body rejected doing a spell she only knew a few steps of, but even still she stayed firm and healed until the girl was safe, or Lothric died once more. Her eyes glowed as she did so, gritting her teeth while she started. "You don't get to have it if I can't have it, you don't get a simple escape, you get to feel my pain until you can't breathe, and then you get to wake up until somebody forces you to die again!"  She trembled, blood pouring from the numerous lacerations scattered across her arm as she shakily moved to the next major wound, and the next, and the next, until the girl would certainly survive this time...

Lothric looked down at her arm, mangled with slashes and splits, coated in drying blood. Her fingers were twisted, some backwards, and so she took the time to force each back into place individually. Small screams, cries, and whimpers echoed throughout the air until she was done. The swordsman took out a few rolls of bandages and started to wrap up her arm and hand to the best of her ability, until the entire shape of the limb was wrapped in a thin layer of white.
    And then she sat down.
    And then she waited.

Lothric grabbed her head with the one arm that could actually move up that high, covering her face so that she could cry for a bit. Why would she heal this woman, she was better off dead! She'd healed her once and she just begged for death again like her efforts meant nothing, even if it was only for her own convenience! She had expected not an ounce of appreciation, but what she hadn't expected was the woman to decide she suddenly knew all about death and could parade around claiming to know pain!

Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric] Empty Re: Death is permanent...right?[Private, Lothric]

Post by Rosabell 11th August 2018, 10:52 pm

Instead of the death she had hoped for, she found herself being healed again. She didn't want this..she wanted it to end, this woman, this woman hated her that much..? She hated her so much that she wanted her to suffer eternally? Why..? What did she do to deserve this..? All she did was try to help, try to be kind, try to show..love..and compassion. Yet this woman was telling her that she wanted her to suffer over and over forever, that she wanted her to feel true pain, to feel true despair. To feel like what it was to die over and over? She didn't want that..she really didn't..yet she felt a deep voice echoing within her to feel it over and over again, to try and share this womans pain with herself to alleviate it somewhat.

This wasn't natural..why, why did she want it? Why did she have to be so selfless as to attempt to share someone else's pain when they had no reason to deserve something like that. She wanted to stop herself from leaning upwards, she wanted to stop her lips from moving like they did...she didn't want to understand..did she? She was too far gone now, she had been broken into so many pieces already, and the healing this woman did..placed them in the wrong positions.
"Then let me experience it..let me know this 'true pain'. Make me understand..what it feels like to..to hurt. Being like that by yourself..with no one to confide in...no one one to understand what it feels like to..to not be able to die, no one should experience that..Do it..make me understand your pain..let me share it with you, so that you don't have to be alone. Do what I couldn't do to you earlier..slit my throat over, and over, and over until I can understand your pai-"

Her breath hitched in her throat as she felt an intake of cold envelop her, before promptly falling backwards unconscious. Almost immediately a dome of ice appeared around her, causing the giant puddle of blood to instantly freeze, and snow to start falling from the sky. Soon the dome busted into a sparkling shower of snow and ice, of course what was underneath was nowhere near as pretty.

Standing in the midst of all that sparkling was something Lothric had not seen yet. Her full Fenrir form. Wild and long grey hair was now in place of the former crimson, whisker like tatoos adorned her face, along with sharp jagged teeth. Leather and fur armor now stood in place of ripped clothes, and her nails had sharpened into dark bestial claws. Opening her eyes they were no longer gold, but instead an emotionless ice blue. "I think that's enough, I swear you mortals are the most revolting things. You're lucky I don't feel your pain or else I'd rip your throat out myself you foolish host!" The voice was not Rosabell's but instead it was deeper, more wild and feral yet still obviously feminine in nature.

Ice blue eyes then shifted over to Lothric, a wolfish grin adorning her face as she did so. "And you..such pent up anger and hatred. Over something as small as Immortality? Hah, get off your high horse mortal! You think you're the only cursed one here? How do you think my host came to possess such a rare and powerful magic, wielding the power of gods, dragons, and demons? At any point in time during her little death, I or any of the souls in her could've repaired her heart and body and made her oh so magically come to life again." The being in control would then let out a couple of snorts of laughter, her breath letting out multiple frosty flakes. "Your immortal parlor trick is nothing new. You belittle others for not knowing pain, when you yourself have no idea of the concept."

Icy blue hues would suddenly sharpen on in anger and rage, before a loud roar of hatred erupted from the depths of her maw. "How dare you, a pathetic mortal speak of pain!? Have you lived for millennia on end being tortured and sealed by a RIBBON!? You know NOTHING! Both of you are weak, pathetic, and UNKNOWING OF ANYTHING!"

Reaching a hand backward she would feel some remaining blood on the back of her head. Bringing it on her hand to her face she would sniff it blissfully, letting out a happy sigh of content while feeling her blood lust rising.

"You know I must thank you, I only can come out when her mind is an an extreme state of weakness. You crushing her hoped and dreams, and shattering her mind not only once but twice..made this whole ordeal extremely easy. Sadly she still seemed to keep her foolish sense of selflessness, can you believe that she was willing to let you nearly kill her over and over just so you wouldn't be alone? Live for yourself, and die for yourself that's how this world functions ya'know?" She would then let out another loud sigh of breath, using her pinky to pick her ear as she did so. "Still, what an idiot you are, healing the enemy.... Such a blind, blind fool. It's so foolish that it made me kinda bloodthirsty to be honest..being sealed for a couple centuries will do that to you. Mind donating a little?"

She would lick her lips hungrily, while letting another wolfish grin adorn her face. She had been waiting nineteen years for this, the chance to take an active mindset of her host. Soon Rosabell would learn how to wield her power freely! Not to it's full potential of course, but still..she would become nigh unstoppable soon, and then..her new Ragnarok would engulf the world..

She wasn't surprised, her expression didn't fill with surprise, and if anything what crossed her face was the opposite of surprise. Her mood was dampened, a small frown twitched onto her face, and she slowly raised her head out of her hand, ripping a sword, noticeably more adorned than the rest, from it's holster. "You talk too much." A classic line, overused even, but it was all that could particularly express her distaste. She was annoyed, yes; she was pissed off, absolutely. Was she going to do something about it? Quite simply, yes. Lothric lifted the sword and pointed the tip at the... Thing, a look of complete, utter, unrestrained condescendense strewn across her face. "Are you going to fight, or are you going to sit there and blab your stupid looking mouth about my immortality this and my big ego that. I'm not immortal, but what I do know is that you can't kill me, and even if I could die permanently, I highly doubt it'd be from you. All you do is talk, talk, talk. No wonder you got sealed away in there, you wouldn't shut your damned trap!" She twirled the word between her fingers, one arm twitching, trying to function, the other laced with blood; and yet there she would still stand, against something much greater than herself, because if anything Lothric was stubborn.

This was different though, she genuinely felt nothing. Fear was missing, and so was her motivation to even fight. Her motivation to not fight? Well, that was gone too. What was she doing? Doing what was put in front of her. Here was an enemy, it wanted to kill her, so she would kill it instead. Simple enough. There was no bout of intents, there was no debate of motive, it wasn't due to her stubborn nature or her trauma-bound mind, it was because she felt nothing. She twisted her sword so that the butt of the blade pressed against her broken shoulder, and she took slow, careful steps forward, body tensed, until she was about five meters from the thing.
"If you want to consume my blood then feel free to go lick up the puddle and let me go on my way, but just be wary that if you drink it either from that puddle or by killing me, then I will tear you apart from the inside out before you can digest me. You are intelligent enough to realize that, yes? Not to mention if you do eat me then you will have forged a grudge, and unless I'm mistaken, the girl is definitely not immortal. Is this a trade you really wish to make, to be hunted like the dog you just so happen to be by someone you cannot kill? Dogs are supposed to be intelligent, aren't they? Any aggression you show to me today can only harm you, so I do believe it really is beneficial for you to leave." Her expression, her tone, it all remained as flat as her chest as she stared the beast down.
    "So, leave."
