It hardly stood out against his white hair yet there was a soft dusting of flour across the left side of his face, he dusted some of it off yet the particles only covered his eyes and camouflaged some of the stripes on his shirt. For most of the morning in the hopes of creating some wonderful treats that they could sell or give away. Not that any of their plans went to plan properly, this one too was going oddly, he could smell the chocolate chip cookies in the oven being heated a little too high as his sight was blurred by the flour across his face. He really should have worn an apron or something, yet with cookies baking, brownie cooling down on the side and some gingerbread dough men with half their eyes missing ready to be put in the oven. Blinded from the ingredient in his eyes and his nose overwhelmed from the slow over roasting of the cookies. Tiny chocolate chips in the cookies screaming out for someone to turn the heat down as they continued to sizzel. "Theooo, Rin!~ My eyes, flower, the cookies are screaming they're burning to death and I haven't got enough M&M's for the gingerbread, the flour is everywhere I think maybe I used baking soda instead of baking powder to dust the brownies with!" The words stumbled into mumbles growing quiet as he blundered his way around the room. Theo had, gone to get a snack? had he, or did he go to the bathroom, there was a rather nice bush outside he could be relaxing in that too where was he! God knows where Rin was, maybe she was in the kitchen next to his? There were multiple kitchens in this place where was she when he needed her!
It was such a good idea too, they had dreamed of spending the morning in the kitchen, the ideal bonding time with Rin poking Theo's nose and leaving a smear of chocolate that lingered just enough to taunt him. Pulling racks of wonderful treats out, the brownies dusted with a light hand leaving them looking like the first snow of winter had lightly chilled the land. Cookies would mound up, pouring out of baskets with just the sweetest little checker red and white hanker chiefs covering them it would be like a paradise, yet there was no paradise for them. There was no sitting at the kitchen bench on slightly off balance stools with piping bags full of coloured icing making little cupcakes into cute animals. He was left blundering around the room half blinded by flour as cookies roasted alive, ginger bread men had their eyes missing and she had dusted the brownie with something much more terrible.
