This was a rather interesting development in all honesty. The client that Evan was being asked to research had an interesting track record and was doing a rather amazing job of keeping his tracks hidden. Pulling up another holographic screen next to him, the young man would begin to continually track all recorded crimes that the man had committed whilst running a scan of all the unsolved crimes within Earthland as well. Doing this, he could look for common threads within the events and see whether they were responsible to more things at the moment. A blinking notification appeared on one of the screens as Evan's blue eyes narrowed. Turns out there was a link to all this.
Smirking slightly, the imagination mage would continue typing as he pulled up information on the most current crime that was available, to the public and in private. The Magic Council wouldn't really mind this in the end because he was solving their problem with this criminal. Once the files began uploading, Evan sighed to himself while looking at the loading screen. Sure, he was good at finding out about people and everything they didn't want others to know but he had a sneaking suspicion that a lot of people didn't want things like this to be discovered about them. The young man would snap out of his thoughts when he heard a notification sound, indicating the data transfer was complete.
Ah, as it turns out, one of the last crimes was committed at the town that Crystalli was ported at so if this thief was really smart enough to cover his tracks, he probably would have chosen to laid low within the flying city and get off the next time they port while they investigate the last town. He probably thought that he was clever but unfortunately for him, the white haired mage was about three steps ahead of him constantly. Maybe in another life he could meet someone who could outsmart him but right now that wasn't the case. Swiping the screens out of existence by simply swiping them into thin air, it would provide a reminder to Evan exactly where he was.
Looking around at the somewhat hectic atmosphere, Evan felt a little bit woozy and made his way over to a nearby wall to lean onto something. Being around large crowds was not a forte of his actually, however performing was easier because he could simply think of it as them being somewhere else while he was in his own world. The young man would let out a surprised sound when he heard someone talk to him. He... wasn't expecting to have to deal with that many people, just someone telling him to go on stage and when that should happen.
The Crystal Swan mage would turn his gaze to see a blue haired humanoid. He was hesitant to call them a female because they didn't exactly seem that human and with a closer gaze with the scanners in his eyes acting a little bit more acutely, they weren't. If he didn't think of them as a person it could make this interaction go by a lot smoother but they were still much too similar to humans to even consider that a possibility.
Evan's eyes locked onto the other person's dark blue eyes, as he heard them say he should get ready soon. Wordlessly nodding while ducking his head down, the imagination mage would summon a rainbow tether within his hand, just as a literal way out of the conversation in case it became too overwhelming for him.
"A-ah yes, of course. I can get ready any time so don't worry yourself with me." Evan smiled awkwardly as he walked past the humanoid over to where the director of the performance was.
Summoning a screen full of sheet music, Evan's eyes would quickly gaze over the piece, seeing what he would need to keep an eye out for. Dynamics while playing, key changes, any changes in speed or a Coda so he would know if he had to flip pages. Stopping himself as he saw a white haired man as well as the woman in the olive dress from earlier. The white haired man was someone that the imagination magus had seen hanging around Crystal Swan more and more, but he wasn't quite ready to meet someone from his guild. Too many variables. He can talk at another date, another date in potentially another lifetime.
Attempting to turn away so that he could dodge the alchemist's gaze, Evan would try to sneak out of the room but he wasn't completely able to because he still needed to know where to go. Sighing, the young man would wait in the dark corner of the room, while observing the white haired man. He needed to get the woman's attention without talking to the other person in the room but he wasn't sure if that was possible considering how loud the woman tended to talk.
