The Thunder Idol (Private)
During a study of Thunder island, Quill had found a entrance to some ruins that have yet been explored and there seemed to be a magic field that indicated there might be a magic artifact in there that they can research. The artifact might hold lost magic that has not been documented or something of that nature. Quill had came to the island with Leona and he had mention to her about the ruins so he headed in the ruins to disarm all the traps so it will be a lot safer for a team to come in and take a better look at the place, but the artifact is priority number one. Most of the traps were magic base so the were easy to dodge most of them the rest of the traps were all normal ones and didn't even bother him, finally he gotten to the chamber in which the artifact was in.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Wearing her traditional outfit, Leona had traveled to Thunder Island with Quill to locate an artifact rumored to be on the island. Finding it would advance the guild mission and give Leona a modest boost in fame. Quill had gone ahead to reconnoiter the hitherto undiscovered ruins and disarm the traps, facilitating progress for her. Leona found the entrance and shouldered her ram dao. She was not expecting any serious fighting, but one never knew when a threat might appear.
When she entered the ruins, she saw that the hallways were fairly tight. That would make using the sword harder. At least she still had her knife and her magic. Hopefully this would be an easy and safe job for once. Leona liked easy and safe work in between fights with serial killers and other adversaries.
Leona strode down a hallway full of bas-reliefs carved in stone. She had no idea what they represented. Perhaps the guild library had some information on the ruins and the bas-reliefs. Even if it did, it would not do the blonde any good here. She would just have to wing it.
Leona carefully made her way around in case any traps were still active. Those that were tended to be simple dart shooters and arrow shooters. She ducked and weaved through them without even a scratch. The magical traps were not much more of a challenge. She breezed through them with equal ease.
"Hey Quill! How's it going?" Leona asked as she calmly strolled into the chamber he was in.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Normally the red head could care less about an artifact in the middle of nowhere, but on this day her desire had skyrocketed into the stratosphere. Lester liked artifacts, and this one she had seen mentioned in his journal that she totally didn't sneak into his room to read at all. She knew that if she acquired this allrtifact it could help make it up to him after he found out about all the people she had killed. She didn't want him to be mad at her anymore, so this along with her other, as of yet to be initiated, plan should patch everything up.
Thunder island was a bit away, and as Sharp ventured there with an 'acquired' boat she wondered just what this trip would entrail. The voice inside her head told her it was foolish, but if she wanted to waste her time she could. Would this be a waste of time? Sharp hoped she could at least get something out of this venture, hopefully the artifact. Regardless as the island popped into view Sharp got ready to explore the ruins.
As she landed Sharp cloaked herself darkness as she ducked from shadow to shadow, infiltrating the ruins through the small cracks where no light entered. There were others here, she could sense them, mages, but if they weren't here for the artifact then it wasn't her concern. Following the embittered light to the main chamber, Sharp saw them from the darkened far corner. A bonde girl and boy, siblings perhaps? Didn't matter, the artifact was in the center of the large dim torchlit room. Should she reveal herself and attempt to take the relic, or should she wait to see what did? Sharp didn't know. Perhaps for now it would be best to remain hidden, but Sharp was impatient.
Out of the shadows in the ceiling Sharp dripped down upon the artifacts location landing on the opposite side of it as Quill and Leona. Sharp was about to reach for the artifact when she saw a pressure plate, darm it was protected, she had to find a way to remove it. Pulling out a soft plushie Sharp would prepare to swap it when she realized something these two were probably watching her. She had to offer them something for the artifact, just in case they wanted it.
"Do you two want a plushie instead of this thing? They are really soft! "
Flawless, no one could resist a plushie, Sharps plan would work without failure now!

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Legends had been passed down from chef to chef about a legendary bottle of vinegar which was lost to a pirate gang hundreds of years ago. It was said that the contents of this bottle held a taste so magnificent it would bring tears to the eyes of anyone who simply had a drop of it graze their tongue. It was also said that the pirate who had stolen it all those years ago was named Jolly Thomas, and that the location of all his plunder was a cave on the infamous Thunder Island. The past couple weeks, Sigurd had been gathering ingredients of similar legendary quality from all over Fiore, seeing as he was going to open up a restaurant on the Crystalii soon. It was important for him to have all of the greatest ingredients possible for opening day, and, not particularly a fearful individual, he was willing to brave the elements to have that vinegar.
Given the nature of the island, Sigurd was clad from head to toe in his intimidating Darknight Armor. The helmet he wore was adorned with a skull motif, and the rest of his body was clad in black plating, with his trusty sword, Gilgamesh by his side. Recently he had the guild mark of his new guild, Crystal Swan, sewn into his cape. Sigurd had been searching the island for about an hour now, having arrived in a dinky little boat. Unfortunately, the lightning storms had caused him to wreck. Perhaps he should have thought ahead more... Regardless, Sigurd's first priority was to find the location of the vinegar, and once that was done, he would have to find some way of returning to the mainland. That was far off enough that he wasn't really in the mood to think about it.
As the blonde mage searched the island, he began to grow frustrated. It seemed there was nothing but lightning and mountains here, there weren't even any caves where the pirates potentially would have hid out. Just as he was nearing wits end, he noticed some ruins. Thinking that this may be the spot, or at least willing to try, given that it was the first standout location he stumbled upon, he headed down into the catacombs, unsure of what awaited him.
The blonde summoner carefully treaded down into the depths, and kept one hand on the hilt of his sword in case of an emergency. Though the space was a bit tight, it was better than being unarmed. He passed over a number of what seemed to be traps, both magical and non magical in nature, but it seemed someone had already activated them, meaning Sigurd could simply tread around them. Finally he entered a more open chamber. It looked promising, but it seemed that whoever set the traps off earlier were still here. There seemed to be three other individuals: one man and two women.
The ebony-clad warrior waved at them and shouted out, hoping to gather information on whether they were after the same thing he was... perhaps though his choice of words weren't the best...
"Hello there, I am Darknight, Defender of the Void, superhero, and mage of Crystal Swan. I'm looking for a very powerful artifact, and I'd like to ask what you folks are here for."

After Leona caught up with him, he spots a woman trying to take the artifact, he then yells out,"HEY, don't touch that, you have no clue what that could do also that belongs to Silver wolf. Another thing is how the hell did you even get in here in the first place." As he finished saying that, some person in black armor showed up and said he was here for the artifact and was a here. Quill said,"For one thing, we are part of the Silver wolf guild sent here to retrieve that relic for research and to keep it out of the hands of dumbasses, also these ruins already been claimed by Silver Wolf so why are you guys here." If they did say their answers they would be interrupted by a loud booming voice that said,"THE 4 MOST FIGHT TO BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO TAKE THIS RELIC, FIGHT OR YOU SHALL ALL DIE" Quill then fires at the voice and then some warning shots that the 2 other people.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Leona was surprised by the arrival of two new faces, neither of whom were part of Silver Wolf.
One was a fellow clad in a strange ebony armor.
The other was a red-headed young woman with a thing for plush animals.
The male introduced himself as "Darknight, Defender of the Void, superhero, and mage of Crystal Swan." Leona recognized that guild name. They were a Legal Guild with a sizable member roster. Antagonizing them would be a bad idea in more ways than one.
The young woman was more interested in the artifact. She offered them a plushie in exchange for relinquishing the artifact to her. Leona was not sure what to make of her. That type of reaction was likely what the young Crystal Swan mage was aiming for. She would swipe the artifact while the Silver Wolf mages were confounded by the questionable nature of the offer.
Fortunately, a hitherto unseen pressure plate trap prevented the artifact from going anywhere... for the moment. Another problem now presented itself. How would Quill and Leona politely assert Silver Wolf's claim to the artifact without making an enemy of Crystal Swan?
"Like my guildmate said, we of Silver Wolf were here first. Let's discuss this. I'm sure that we can-" Leona started to speak with Darknight and Sharp before a booming voice interrupted. The voice claimed that the four of them would have to fight it out for a chance to claim the item. Leona was not keen on a fight with Darknight and Sharp.
"This isn't our doing. I don't even know who that voice is. And I don't think it belongs to you guys either. You just got here." Leona said to the Crystal Swan mages. She started looking around the room for any kind of Lacrima or technology that could project voices. Where did that voice come from?

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
A man clad in black armor entered the room and announced his presence in an interesting way. The superhero? Wonderful she had a real-life superhero here to help her out, maybe later she could get an autograph. Well, she assumed that the superhero was on her side as he stated he was apart of the Crystal Swams, that guild that Lester was in, that meant he was automatically a good guy because Sharp is childish. As a voice boomed and a gunshot rang out Sharp could barely make out what Leona was saying, all she saw was a warning shot shoot right through the cuddly plush teddy bear she held in her arms.
"No... Mister Cuddles! Why!"
The horror of her teddy bear falling to the ground with a bullet hole in it made Sharp shudder to the core. The words were whitewash noise compared to the pitiless rage she felt within her very soul. Mister Cuddles would be avenged this day and her vengeance would be swift. Sharp wouldn't attempt to grab the artifact despite being right next to it, no, she had a bigger target, the man who had shot her small bear, he would pay for this transgression.
"You will pay for this MURDER, you won't leave here in one piece, for I tried peace AND YOU SHOT IT!"
Vanishing into a mist of shadow Sharp hid within the cracks of the roof and was prepared to target the man who had dared to shoot Mister Cuddles, she didn't care about the girl who had just tried to chat or the other guy who was the superhero. she wanted this MURDERER gone, which was ironic coming from her. From the top right of the chamber, Sharp would launch her first attack towards him. Reaching out with a shadowed hand from her corner the darkened figure would unleash a shadow copy of the hand to attempt to grab Quill's throat, though it might only grab a part of him, or miss entirely. Regardless Sharp would move to the opposite corner of the room and prepare for her next attack, this wasn't over, Cuddles would be avenged.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Crap, Sigurd thought to himself, who knew how handy this armor would be today. Why do all these people want the vinegar for themselves? Could it be that Silver Wolf is a guild made up of chefs? If that's the case, perhaps I should have joined them... Well, now isn't the time to consider things like that.
In truth Sigurd didn't know anything about the guild Silver Wolf. He was certain, however, that they weren't a legal guild, as he had done copious amounts of research on the Legal guilds when he was deciding which faction to join, and as such knew, at the very least, the names of each one. Given that Silver Wolf was not a legal guild, the thought crossed his mind that whatever kind of organization they were, it was entirely possible for them to be aiming to use the vinegar for nefarious purposes, which was a thought that absolutely crippled the blonde chef's trust in the two from that guild. That wasn't even mentioning the red-haired girl, who hadn't revealed any identifying information at all.
He sighed, raising his sword, began addressing the blonde woman, "Don't get the wrong idea or anything. Normally I'd prefer talking this out amongst ourselves, but it seems like there are a couple problems with that plan," keeping his sword ready for a fight in his left hand, he raised his right hand and stuck up a finger, "First of all, I can't simply allow you to take that idol. A... uh... friend needs it for business purposes."
Sigurd continued, raising a second finger, "Second of all, the words that came from the trap implied that if we didn't fight some serious harm might come to us. It never specified any qualifications for said fight, so I'm assuming no lives are at risk here, and if one of us wanted to, we could probably give the other an easy win," as he closed his statement, he got into a more serious battle stance, "But seeing the way things have been going I don't think either of us is keen on that option either. It seems your pompous friend over there is occupied, which leaves the two of us. I apologize in advance for this, if you'd like I'll buy you a meal sometime," and with that apology, Sigurd pushed off the ground, and lunged forward, making a swing with his sword, Gilgamesh in an attempt to land the first blow of the match.

The warning shot hit the girls teddy bear thing which Quill did not mean it hit, she then vanished into the shadows. This trick was so old to him by now that he would grab the girls arm slam her into the ground, turned out to be a shadow clone of some sort he then hears the Crystal Swan member say he needed to artifact for a friend who plan to use it for a business thing,"Okay, little girl you calm yourself down, its a plushy. I'll find someone to fix it when we are done here, as my honor of a warrior of Drachma. And you, 'superhero' you want to give a artifact with unknown energy coming off it to a business person, more like villain then hero to me." Quill wasn't lying that he sounded like a villain who only care for a profit, was he even part of Crystal Swan? He then summon the Inferno Claws to combat the situation.

Leona did not like what was going to come next. It seemed like there was no choice in the matter. The quartet of mages would simply have to fight it out. The Crystal Swan mages were already gunning for Quill. The blonde could not stand by and watch.
"Sorry Crystal Swan! This isn't personal!" Leona addressed the pair of mages before taking action. She dropped her ram dao and prepared a Crescent Wave spell. When it was ready, Leona chopped downward with her right hand, releasing the wind crescent. She was aiming towards the one who called himself "Darknight." Hopefully Quill would not pick this time to step forward.
The red-headed mage named Sharp did not escape Leona's notice. Sharp was hanging back and using projectile spells while her colleague occupied Silver Wolf's attention. That was somewhat clever. Leona would have to deal with her after "Darknight" was out of the picture.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
The blond man somehow managed to swipe away her attack without the faintest worry, he was tough, now she would have to try something different. She could strike from the shadows again, but he would probably just block the attack, instead, she had another idea, he seemed thirsty for battle drawing such potent claws, she could use this to her advantage. Dropping from the left corner of the room Sharp would appear toss out her shadow hand once again to attack him but this time she would dash out from the corner and move into a move open fighting stance against Quill, enticing him to attack her, she wanted to see exactly what he was made out of right now.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Sigurd was caught off guard, and was staggered upon impact with the wind spell launched by his foe. He took a couple steps back, but then looked up with renewed confidence. Now that he knew his opponent could use magic, it permit him, in his own sense of justice, to start expending his own mana pool and launch more serious attacks. He raised his palm in front of him, and magical energies began to swirl about his body, before he called out the name of "Godot, Defender of Earth!" as a portal opened up, with the white alien hero emerging.
Godot and Sigurd made immediate contact mentally, with Sigurd explaining the situation as he once again rushed towards his enemy, preparing to swing upwards with his sword. At the same time, however, Godot, placed his fingers on his temple, and charged energy into his forehead gem until he let it loose in the form of his signature "Godot Beam" attack. The result was a guillotine style combination attack. Godot was attacking her on eye level, while Sigurd was trying to attack her from a lower vantage point. He was interested in seeing how she would react to this maneuver.

Quill saw what the man was doing so he rushed the guy and his summon swiping at the guy and the summon to knock them both off balance so the would not hit Leona, he then yelled out,"TWO AGAINST ONE REALLY, Leona you take care of the kid I'll deal this cheating jerk. If you're going to fight someone with 2 people, than I will fight you. Rather be finding someone who would do this kind of stuff then a child." Quill's soldier side was showing at this point, in his homeland, a soldiers main job was to protect thoses that would gang up on others. Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Leona watched as her Crescent Wave spell staggered Darknight. He responded by calling up a Summon named "Godot, Defender of Earth." Darknight and Godot then attacked in tandem. Leona dodged the sword swing by jumping backwards but was hit by Godot's beam, taking damage and being propelled with enough force to slam into the wall behind her. Leona had to admit that Darknight employed a good strategy for the situation.
Quill took umbrage to it and called Darknight a cheater. Leona kept quiet as Quill expressed his outrage and called upon her to deal with Sharp. Leona did not object. Quill was closer to Darknight anyway. She wanted to minimize the risk of friendly fire, so going after Sharp was a safer bet.
"OK!" Leona answered as she stood in front of her ram dao and prepared an Air Burst spell. She was going to try and knock Sharp off balance with her spell. Leona gathered wind energy into her hands, then leaped straight up into the air.
Leona then released the Air Burst in midair, sending all eight tennis ball-sized balls of wind hurtling towards Sharp. With any luck some would hit and keep the redhead from harassing Quill while he dealt with Darknight. Leona then shifted gears. She had to be ready for any retaliation from Sharp. Leona had little idea what the redhead could do.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
The battlefield was shifting rapidly. The chaos of the room reminded Sharp of something, how she used to fight along a man who was the embodiment of chaos and battle. Such bitter battlefield emotions rushed through her as she saw the accusation of cheating and deflection of battle. Moving her attack away from Quill Sharp allowed it to hit nothing. it wasn't that she cared about the man, but her principals of battle, at least this kind of battle forbid her from interfering, besides she could always kill him later if she desired. Now she had a new opponent, the woman who was attempting to launch attacks from above. Sharp could attempt to dodge the attack by retreating into the shadows, but her frustrations led her to want to show them up. As the wind balls flew towards Sharp black petals manifested in front of Sharp to block the attack, each wind balls contact against the petals causing them to bleed onto the ground in darkness, because it's edgy.
As the blows were struck Sharp's expression grew menacing. Parting the petals she directed the hundred of them to rush towards Leona with just a swipe of her hand, a hand which also swept over her face to cover it with a grim mask. Sharp would throw out her hand attack in the middle of the flurry in order to try and lock down the girl in place, and would direct the petals to follow her wherever she went, though not guaranteeing any sort of hit by doing so. A key difference was that despite the barrage, Sharp wasn't attempting to kill the girl she merely wanted her taken out of action, it was the man she was angry at, and even then she didn't want him dead so much as to suffer for the loss of Mr. Cuddles.

- Spoiler:
Same stuff as previous, on post 3 for pitiless grasp.
Petal Fall: Originally Sharp lacked a way to express her emotions due to a magical limitation placed upon her. That restriction has long since faded away, however due to her recent bondage to her respective patron Sharp finds that she only manifests her emotions if they can also cause harm. To this regard Sharp typically manifests the emotions she feels as both her weapon and a small cry for help. Sharp can summon her emotions as a magical property within the area; This property appears like small petals of a cherry blossom. These petals are as strong and durable as Sharp’s rank. These petals can have the properties of her magic(s) applied to them. The petals color depends on Sharp’s mood at the time, typically the petals appear black by default, but they can easily switch depending on her mood. Note: Whenever other magic is applied to these petals they count as mixed, and thus can’t be consumed.

Description: Sharp covers her face in a mask which resemble that of a skull. Sharp receives a 25% physical and magical damage resistance increase for the duration of the spell. Sharp can cancel the spell by removing the mask herself.
Strengths:
Increases her damage resistance.
Weaknesses:
Doesn’t keep the same scale as she ranks up.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
In all the commotion, it seems like everyone's battle partner had been switched up. Sigurd was now facing off against the blonde male of Silver Wolf who was fighting that red haired girl earlier. On his accusation of cheating, Sigurd grimaced under his helmet. Sure, maybe 2 on one wasn't the most fair, but Sigurd didn't have much chance against any other mages if he didn't use his magic. Just as he was thinking this, his summon lunged at him. Though Sigurd was not prepared for the attack, he caught it fast enough to duck out of the way. Godot usually was completely obedient, but it seems that something had sent him into a blind fury. Sigurd used his highly skilled handle on his summons to desummon Godot, but as he did so, he received the brunt of the attack volley launched by Quill, sending him flying into a wall.
Sigurd got up, and as he did so, he began to release a magic he preferred to keep dormant in most instances. It seems someone long ago in the bloodline of the Chevalier family had some connection to a foreign barbarian. Though Sigurd thought it uncouth to use the power, since he couldn't rely on his summons he turned to that very blood for assistance. He felt blood pump through his body as he rushed forward, swinging his sword with all of his might, boosted by his bloodline, the Glory of the Slayer.

Quill then charged at the summon to break ones of its arms to make sure it doesn't bludgeon its summoner to death, Quill then said,"Give up now, i don't want to kill anyone today but if you don't then that will change. What ever you think this artifact is isn't what you are looking for, unless you are looking for ancient magic that could cause the end of the world then I will stop you from stealing it from us." After that he turned to see if the artifact is still there, it was not there. So who has it?

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Leona saw that her Air Burst was effortlessly blocked by a defensive spell that involved a lot of petals. So Sharp could do more than pine for a "dead" teddy bear that was technically never alive to begin with. Seeing what Sharp could do also meant that the redhead's attention was now totally fixed on the blonde. Leona could handle it. She had been through worse before.
She jumped to the side and barely avoided the incoming attack, then had to frantically race around the room to avoid the swarm of petals following her. The homing petals were annoying, but they could easily take her out if they caught up with her. Rather than running around until she was exhausted, Leona tried a different strategy.
She stopped while facing the petals and raised a hand into the air, then swung it downward. A mini-tornado immediately formed in front of her. Hopefully Wind Wall could knock down at least some of the petals.
Leona took a quick glance backwards to see how Quill was doing. He was holding his own, but something was amiss. Where was the artifact?

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Sharp was slipping slightly, she saw how these people dodged and move about to counter rather than run and fight and she began to get angry at the entire situation. Such dishonorable conduct was only the pride of cowards who refused to fight an opponent in a straight battle, such dishonor was infuriating to her now. Barriers, screaming, let your skill talk not your mouth. The truth was spoken though, the artifact was missing, Sharp should have stolen it when she had the chance then Lester could at least have whatever the heck it was, but now she was stuck here with dishonorable cowards and no prize. Receding her attack Sharp tried to look around the room to see if it had moved anywhere she could notice, but nope just gone. Maybe it didn't even exist in the first place. Petals swirling around her and bleeding shadows into the floor around her, Sharp found herself at a crossroads, did she stay or did she simply leave? She did have a mock ally right now, so maybe she should do the honorable thing and stay but if that was the case it would just be to kill these two.
"You were the ones who wanted this war yet you cower and run from an opponents strength. You claim dishonor but you change opponents. The mages of Silverwolf truly are pathetic excuses for warriors. Why don't you just turn tail and run, such ancient magic as you claim is here is wasted on those without the talent to even give a proper fight."
It was strange, but she gave an attempt to taunt her opponent and get them to either leave or potentially fight properly if not then Sharp would take the fight to BOTH of them in earnest. In essence, this was the last bit of sympathy Sharp would show today, at least so far.
Same stuff as before, grasp is now on cooldown.

Sigurd spit his harsh words towards Quill like a cobra's venom, "You can pry the damn vinegar from my cold dead hands. That succulent sauce shall be mine. I don't mean to make a villain out of you, but I require that delicious substance for purposes of utmost heroism. I must become the paragon of good, and I cannot do so without that legendary vinegar. I can't imagine a dastard such as yourself could ever understand the subtlety, the nuance of flavor in that vessel, and so I cannot allow you to lay claim to it. I apologize, but I will do everything in my power to secure that object for myself." Once he finished his verbose tirade, he looked over towards that which he was speaking of and realized it was missing. His heart sank.

As Quill looked around he saw Theia's gold cloak going though a portal, thats when he put 2 and 2 together that Theia just stole the thing,"OKAY EVERYONE CALM DOWN, look its gone and we can not get to it anymore until i get it back from Theia. Now miss, i can get your toy repaired and given back to you right now but you need to drop this murderess act and don't insult people when they are trying not to get into a brawl, have you never heard of a bluff before." Quill then picks up the toy bear thing and open up a portal to Paradise, he then gives it to Kanoyo to repair and she repairs it quickly. It looked like it wasn't destroyed anymore, Quill then gave it back to the girl,"There, are we good now. And you, crazy person that think this is some sorta of food temple, the vinegar was taken to a museum years ago so calm yourself and try again also that artifact was giving off unknown magic energy, the vinegar isn't magical it just special." After chewing out the darknight person Quill tried to put Theia back into the normal world, which he did and got the artifact to. He then notice that it wasn't a artifact but a bottle of liquor, very good liquor if he may add.

Re: The Thunder Idol (Private)
Leona was insulted. Insulted and confused. She was insulted because Sharp lectured the Silver Wolf mages on honor while conveniently omitting the fact she tried to steal the artifact from them before the fight even started. She was confused because they were still fighting despite the object of contention being missing. Further confusion resulted due to the uncertain nature of the artifact; Darknight insisted it was a special vinegar while Quill asserted that it was a good liquor.
Leona kept any critical remarks to herself. As much as she disliked Sharp's hypocrisy, the blonde stifled her annoyance. She just wanted to find the artifact before the quartet killed each other.
"Look guys, I don't know why we're still fighting when the artifact's missing. Let's quit fighting each other and find the real thief. Then after we deal with them, we can finally settle who gets the artifact." Leona suggested to the others.
