Personality: “What?! You want me to explain my whole character to you, just like that? Well… I don't know, people don’t usually compliment me on a lot of stuff. Assholes are always calling me out for stuff that isn’t even true. They’ll say things like, “Yuu, you’re always so loud! Why do you have to yell every time someone tries to correct something about you?” Like, come on! I don’t yell all the time! Do I sound that loud to you?! Or sometimes they’ll even be like, “What’s the point of going to class if you’re just gonna sleep or pick fights all the time?” That one’s kinda harsh, don’t you think? I only pick fights when everyones treating me like I can’t understand anything they say to me. But really both those were just things my parents would tell me.

Sometimes my friends would talk to me about how passionate I am about some things. I guess that’s pretty accurate. It always hypes me up when I get the chance to prove someone wrong about something. Taking assholes down a peg is what keeps me going! Especially those assholes that aren’t passionate about anything. The kind who waltz through life without giving a damn thinking their prodigal skills and icy demeanours will actually get them somewhere in life. I really detest people like that. I’m the kind of guy who works for what he’s got.

I mentioned before that people think I’m a little violent… a little loud too. Maybe they’re right but that doesn’t mean I’m a bad guy. I may be loud but I give respect when it’s due. If I see someone working hard, or people who have worked hard to get what they’ve got, man! I’ll get on my knees and kiss their feet! It’s easy to be my friend but you better pray to god that you’re not my enemy.”

Likes:
Hard-workers: “Like I said before, people who work hard for what they’ve got will always have my respect. You don’t have to be the coolest guy, the strongest guy, the nicest guy. Provided you’re working with what you’ve got and making something decent out of it - well I like that!
Hot spirits: “Suppose this is sort’ve similar to what I told ya’ before! If someone is burning with a fiery passion whether that be in combat or just doing something they love, you’ve gotta like that! Nothing beats someone absolutely thriving in their element, ya know?!”
Battle: “Guess this is a bit cliche but who doesn’t love a good fight here and there?! People are fighting for their lives sometimes and that’s when you see their fires burning brightest. You gotta love that about a fight. When people try their absolute hardest to overcome each other, it doesn’t get better than that!”

Underachievers: “People who just stroll through life not giving a damn about anything. Those guys really tick me off, man. You can’t sense any kind of passion irrespective of what you do! You could be trying to kill them and you’d still get no reaction. That’d make me want to pummel them even more!”
Anonymity: “Cowards who can’t own up to their actions. Man, if you can’t take responsibility for something you did then you deserve none of my respect. You could be the strongest mage in the world but if you’re waltzing around with a mask and cloak on then you ain’t shit! Whether you’re doing bad or good, you keep that identity concealed? We’ve got some beef!”
Mayonnaise: “Hate the stuff. That thick creamy dressing.. It ruins the taste of everything man! You’ve gotta be out of this world or something if you can actually eat this dogpile.”

Motivations:
Strong opponents: “Nothing fires me up more than someone who equals or betters me in terms of strength! I’ve gotta say some of my most passionate battles are when people push me to the absolute limit. Win or lose, I don’t care. It’s people like that who fuel my fire!”
Sources of passion: “I’m always looking for things to inspire me each and every day. Whether that be a dish I haven’t tried, an opponent I haven’t face, a fear I haven’t overcome. I want to look at each and every day and feel like I’ve accomplished something new, yeah!”
Exploration: “When I travelled to Fiore, it was like experiencing an entirely new sensation. A fuel to the fire that is my passion! I want to feel that sensation again. I want to travel to all kinds of places while I still can. I’ll never forget my homeland but the rush when seeing a new sight that I’ve never laid eyes upon… there’s nothing like it!”
Fears:
Defeat: “I say this sparingly. I don’t mind if someone who’s stronger beats me in a battle of raw passion. I just fear that one day, someone will put me down so bad, or I’ll experience something so disheartening that it’ll blow out the fire that resides within me. I couldn’t handle that.”
Hydrophobia: “Not very manly of me, I know. I blame it on my bulging muscles weighing me down but for some reason, I just can’t get to grips with swimming. Therefore, deep water of any kind has always had a tendency to freak the living shit out of me!”
Fire: “I mean… this is pretty rational, right? It burns like hell, it’s practically uncontrollable and it spreads like crazy when you catch on the right stuff.”
