Nyx never thought she would be walking down these narrow streets again, be able to see these posters advertising different luxurious and pampering spa experiences again. The last time she had been here? Well, she had been a feline who quickly made a reputation that would get her chased out of the town with pitchforks, and have any heroic mage who happened to be in the town coming down on her head. Mortals did not take too well to someone that murdered an entire wedding party, some first responders, left the park burning and then took a spa stop with the man she'd just done it with. Luckily, when she had done that massive slaughterfest she had still been a feline, thus anyone who still remembered was upset with a cream colored twin tail cat, not anything remotely humanoid. Due to the bipedal body granted to her by the god she worshipped, the whole world was opened up to her again, at least until she was greeted with battle once more, which was just fine because if she reached that point it meant she had earned this new body.

Golden optics cut around to see different features of the main street she was exploring, keeping her wings neatly tucked against her body in hopes of keeping them out of others ways. Even if she enjoyed bloodshed and any fight she could get into because it all worshipped him? Nyx as not here today for any fight, she was here because the claws she used to do her killing could use a major manipedi, and she saw nothing wrong with taking a spa day. "Which one?" there was no doubt she could mistakenly grow violent or just decide she wanted to challenge someone, she spent her life worshipping the god of war. Due to those factors? Nyx decided it would be best if she picked someplace she was certain had no security, nothing like camera, if she got lucky any murder she committed here would be attributed to her name, not her new appearance, allowing her at least one more trip here.

"This place will do." the storefront left no question not a single camera existed on the grounds, and it seemed as if there was some sort of springs in the establishment as well. "Hello ma'am" the man behind the counter seemed young and nervous at the sight of the busty dark mage, good thing he had no idea she was a serial killer or he may just faint. "Hello sir, I'd like something that at least includes manicure and pedicure, I would like to get my horns and wings treated as well, but one must exercise care with all four because they are my natural weapons and the smallest nick on them is enough to cause a good deal of damage." she wasn't here to kill someone, but it was probably going to work out that in the end, it didn't mean she had to be dishonorable and not let them know that it was very possible to get hurt just by touching her. The wonder of her gods gift to her? Never ceased to amaze Nyx, it was fantastic being so capable even without weapons.

Before long, the fire mage was led back into a room that seemed to have room for three more, settled into a chair and had her clawed feet soaking in a tub of bubbling water. Drifting in the room? Was a very pleasant smelling steam, enough to let the dark mage lean back in a relaxed manner, spreading her wings slightly though not enough to risk some poor other person walking into them. if her wings were going to decapitate or otherwise kill someone? It would be because she meant to kill them.

    Mood: Spa Time!!
Cool night air hung low in the valley that contained the town of Hosenka. The sky was a clear, dark blue and speckled with stars, but the remaining light of a prior sunset still lingered on the horizon. An owl swooped silently through the still air, wide eyes searching as it passed above a group of mages. The path that Aeluri now trudged along with her teammates was dimly lit by the lights of the Hosenkan establishments. Such fancy buildings rising along the path in vivid colors made the mage’s mismatched eyes dart back and forth. Her mind was elsewhere, though.

The thought of sitting in the heated waters of a spa made Aeluri sigh wistfully. After a tiring journey - filled with arguing and alcohol, as per usual - the female mage was entirely ready to jump headfirst into the nearest hot springs, despite her fear of deep water. She was accompanied by her teammates Iris and Sonya, who paced by her side, though silence surrounded the three out of exhaustion. Aeluri figured her companions were still as buzzed as she was as she took a swig from her flask. The trio of mages was so close to their destination that she could almost feel the warmth she craved. “Aeluriiiiiiiiii, are we there yet?” asked her dark feline companion Umbra for the millionth time, whining from his resting spot on the top of her bag.

“Umbra, I swear if you ask that again I’m gonna-”

With a start, the mage turned her head with a swish of long black hair as she realized that the building they were passing was indeed the one being sought. The seeming lack of security and business of the spa normally would have made the summoner cautious, but not today. “This is it guys, come on!” she exclaimed, beckoning to her teammates. In a split second she was in the doorway, eagerly entering what would be a sanctuary from the night air and the exhaustion that weighed her down.

The spa employee at the front desk began to address Aeluri, but she blew past him, leaving a large bag of jewel in front of him to pay for whatever she and her teammates wanted to indulge themselves in. Catching sight of a room labeled Pedicures, she entered without second thought. It was time to relax!

Only after she sat in one of the comfy chairs and stuffed her petite feet into the warm, swirling bubbly water did Aeluri notice the other being in the room. With a tilt of her head, she observed the other, eyes as curious as a cat’s - one of which happened to be sitting on her shoulder, doing the exact same thing. A cheeky smirk fell across her face. “Oops, didn’t see you there. I hope you don’t mind sharing the place, ‘cause we’re here now and I’m not moving!”

    Dahlia Springs

THROW ME TO THE WOLVES, AND I'LL COME BACK LEADING THE PACK

"I'm booooored~" Dahlia whined as she followed her black haired teammate. Why were they even going to this spa place anyways? It wasn't like she cared about such a dumb thing. Jumping off of cliffs, riding motorcycles. That was her kind of thing. Slumping in a drunk daze, she blindly walked along, her buzz slowly dying the longer they walked. "Aeluri, can I have a sip of thaattt. Just to take the edge off?" She managed to slur, making grabby hands at the flask her friend had. She would go unnoticed, though. That often happened with Aeluri, though. She was a cold bitch sometimes. "Hmmph... Fine..." Grumbling to herself angrily, she reached up to pet the large cockatoo that sat on her shoulder. His crest rose, displaying the lovely pink feathers that were hidden beneath it. Letting out a small coo, he rubbed his cheek gently against her hand. He was a big, affectionate- "OW!" The pink haired woman cried out suddenly, retracting her finger swiftly. The little bastard bit her! "Dammit, Peaches! What did I say about biting people when you're happy?! Biting people isn't nice!" She scolded, glaring at the creature who was clearly very happy with himself. "I swear, if I didn't love you so much, I would make you into soup!"

Hearing a sudden cry from her teammate, she stopped in her tracks, almost falling over in her drunken state. She wasn't the most coordinated when she was plastered like this, but then again, who was? "H-Hold up! I-I can't run that fast!" She called after the woman desperately, tripping over her own feet in an attempt to follow her. It was a miracle that she hadn't fallen on her face, like the idiot she was. As she burst through the door, the only sign she saw of her cat loving companion was a fan of black hair disappearing behind a doorway. Sighing with exasperation, she turned to the other member of her team. "I swear, this bitch drives me crazy sometimes." Leaning against the wall next to the door, she closed her eyes, not interested in any of the things that they offered here. As far as she knew, spas were lame. She had been to one once in Napedia and practically fallen asleep. This wouldn't be any different.

That was... Until she noticed a sign hiding in one of the corners.

It was a sign for a hot spring... They had a hot spring in this place?! That was a completely different story! Letting out a sudden, very dramatic gasp, she staggered awkwardly. "Hot... Spring?!" She managed to choke out, eyes widening in shock. This... This was perfect! Well, it was probably even more perfect because she was hammered. But that's beside the point. "YES!" She yelled excitedly, jumping away from the wall and making her way towards the front desk. What happened afterwards nearly caused the poor employee to have a heart attack. The wasted woman began to remove her clothes, right then and there, tossing them towards the shocked attendant with reckless abandon. "Take care of those for meee!~ Make sure Iris doesn't try to wear them!" Making a dash for the hot springs, she slid clumsily along the tile that surrounded it, gaining a few fresh bruises on her legs from it. Stopping at what she assumed was the deepest end of the water, her hand moved upwards to squish her nostrils together, plugging them to prevent liquid from entering. Just before her muscles tensed to jump, the bird that was following her flew away, hiding in a nearby plant. Leaping forward, Dahlia let out a thrilled scream just before she entered the warm water.

Post by Iris 9th September 2018, 3:15 am

Any travel concerning the team of dark mages was an adventure, to be sure. The richness of personalities was a breeding ground for bickering and laughter alike, pushing each other's buttons just for kicks before drinking the aggravation away. They had been walking a long while, though, and after all the activity, it was all the still spectacular looking mage could do to keep from shuffling feet. At least the destination in this case was agreeable. Aeluri lurked for a spa, and getting all three of the bodies Iris currently possessed gussied up and looking fabulous was something the ocular mage couldn't possibly turn down. Who didn't love a good pampering?

Iris, offering a slower gait than the smaller, more excitable women, was currently in his slender male form. Despite how exhausted he did feel, the man didn't look it. His lavender tresses were still meticulously positioned atop his head, not one strand out of place. His wide-neck crimson shirt fit snugly and dipped nearly off one shoulder, while the fluttering black and white striped sweater fluttered around his knees. As he entered the spa with Dahlia behind Aeluri, he too saw the sleek black hair flutter into a room as well as saw the payment resting before a flustered employee. A normal person might have offered him an apology, but really...did dark mages ever apologize for chaos?

Speaking of chaos, Dahlia was having another drunken meltdown. Lilac hues followed her as she stripped and ran through the place. Again, a better person may have stopped her, but beauty was natural and shouldn't be interfered with. He sauntered past the bewildered man covered in his team mate's clothes. Wait...those were nice! Knowing he'd get no resistance, he took them off the mannequin that used to work there, folding them over his arm with at least mild intentions to do just what his friend had been worried about.

Resuming his traversing down the hall, Iris was faced with a decision. Join Aelu for a pedicure or join Dhalia in the hot springs. Both sounded lovely for all three of his forms. His own buzzed brain had difficulties making the decision. Perhaps at the end of the day he could do both, but right now his tired body leaned toward a rejuvenating all over soak. Keep the skin of all three of his forms youthful and gorgeous. He had no use for hideous appearances. Peeping his head into the room that Aelu and the stranger were in, he gazed winged woman long and hard. What an interesting woman! Those wings, those claws....those eyes. A charming smile stretched across his mouth, his muddled synapses firing in all sorts of directions of what wonders those eyes would contain. A better look was in order, but he also didn't want his hammered team mate to drown in the petaled waters. "I'm heading to the springs with Dahlia, since she's already naked and in the water. It's a shame though, because a pedicure sounded so freaking nice. Maybe once the heat goes to her head, I can come back and join you two," Iris articulated, paying careful attention not to sound buzzed, and with a twinkle of his fingers he was leaving the door to shut as he raced into the steamy waters, leaving both sets of clothes folded nearby. "I hope you haven't drowned yet. This spa is coed, right? Not that it matters~" he purred coyly, erupted into a low fit of chuckles.

Feverishly worshipping the god of blood, skulls, war, and honor, it never left her much time to do anything like relaxing. Letting her golden optics slipped closed in the steamy room for several minutes, was almost a foreign experience, but at least she had past experiences like the time she had gone to a spa with chaoris and every time she had gone when human. Without those times in the past to show her it was enjoyable and she would feel fantastic afterward? it would surely be unbearable now that her heart burned so neverending, boiling her blood and heating her skin to its limit, always making sure to have her amped up for the next fight. The current day was so great because this was one of only two days were she actually felt alive while laying in the spa chair, didn't feel as if she was some nearly empty jar with a few spare things rattling around within, threatening to burst out.

Of course, it felt lonely compared to the many times she had been inside of spas in the past. Instead of some high school friend, co-worker, client or Chaoris being beside her? She was alone, and that was odd, especially since she was often never alone since she hated being too far from her god these days and in the past, she had relied on other's until he showed her how strong she really could be. This brief flash of empty nest syndrome was solved easily when some girl, short with hair black as hers, burst into the room in the side of her barely open golden vision. The warrior was not really paying much attention to the door, but she knew several others had come in with the young girl, and it didn't bother her at all. If anyone was stupid enough to attack her? She could easily kill them, heck even if they got the drop on her she would simply revive and track down whatever coward decided to strike her during one of the rare times she was not looking to shed anyone's blood including her own.

"It matters not either way to me." golden optics half-lidded flickered over the crowd before drifting to the ceiling and closing once more, a relaxed exhale coming from the woman. "Your companion is noisy though." she gestured a pale clawed hand towards the door in the direction of the springs, signaling that she had heard one of them shrieking in happiness. Once she was done with that simple gesture, Nyx placed her hand back in her lap, waiting for whoever was going to take on the dangerous task of servicing her to bravely step forward. It had not taken long for a few of the employes to come into the room, looking around back and forth trying to sort out the tasks amongst themselves. Apparently, none of them were too eager to go about touching a woman who had admitted she could harm them without moving a muscle if they touched her wrong, but they had no other option or their boss would fire them for ruining a payday.

The two employees were still bickering when Iris stuck his head around the corner and the conversation caught her ears. Fluffy had entirely forgotten about the hot springs. "It looks like they won't be getting to the Mani-pedi's for a while anyway, at least until they grow courage and just straight up fight over which one will have to risk shedding blood working on these butchering knives I call claws, they've needed this for months." she could clearly easily gut someone with the tiny daggers attached to her hands and they were in poor shape compared to when she had first obtained them from the blessing of a new body that Chaoris gave her. "Stay alone if you wish, but I believe I will be joining your companions in the springs, it may make the employe's work easier if the dangerous parts of me, which is pretty much everything, are softened and cooled some first." the winged woman rose shortly after Iris had left and followed.

Disrobing herself was often a bit of a chore considering the elaborate nature of her dress, but this time she opted for simply slicing it off her body. At the end of this? She could pay for a robe from the spa to wear home where she had plenty of spare dresses, it was not as if they did not often get ruined in her intense close combat battles. Once the tattered remains of her dress were on the floor she kicked off her sandals and grabbed two hand towels laying nearby, throwing them over her shoulder and striding calmly for the entryway into the springs, which smelled fantastic even from where she currently stood.

"Any objection if the water gets a little bit hotter?" she had entered the spring, moving until she knelt at the edge of it, dripping the first of the hand towels in until she had it soaked. "My body temperature is high enough that at least for the first few minutes, the temperature of the springs will go up by a few." she had learned a while ago that whatever blood she did have in her veins, and with the body being from Chaoris she knew it had to be there, was so heated by her magic that it acted pretty much the same as her hellfire, burning so hotly. While waiting for them to reply, she wrapped the soaked towel around one of her horns, quickly repeating the process with the other horn, making a little content feeling in the back of her throat. "You'd think that with being hot as fire I wouldn't feel this heat, but it's heavenly." How did that work? Nyx decided not to dwell on it, turning her body so that she could lean on the rocks next to the springs, crossing her legs as she stretched out with a content smile. Of course, the most notable part of this was not how little shame she seemed to have, and why should she, her body was crafted by a god. Plus? Her hair provided enough censorship to preserve her dignity. The most notable thing was the black and red coloration right beneath her collarbone which had previously been obscured by the webbing on her dress, the guild mark of nightmare lay there proudly as if she didn't give a damn who saw it.

The light in the hot springs room illuminated the features of the winged woman as Aeluri entered behind her. Large wings, sharp claws, and two horns protruding from her skull. This woman looked badass! Questions bubbled up inside the mage, not unlike the alcohol residing in her stomach, but she decided to keep them to herself. The lady was still a stranger and Aeluri was unsure if she was a danger to the team.

Warm steam rose from the deep pools of heated water, thickening the air into a cozy, comfortable blanket of moisture. Stepping over cool, smooth tiles, the summoner found herself on the pool’s edge beside Umbra and the horned woman. The sudden disappearance of elegant garments from pale shoulders did not phase Aeluri at all, if anything it made her more curious. However, sneaking a glance may not have been well received, so her focus turned to Iris and Dahlia basking in the water below. Quickly shedding her own clothes, the young woman stepped into the water gently, unlike Dahlia’s excited cannonball. As much as she tried to keep it to herself, the deep water still terrified the mage, no matter how warm and comforting it was.

Only once she had submerged a fair amount of her body in the pool did Aeluri return her eyes to the stranger. Towels adorned ivory horns as the other sat in relaxation. Crimson and gold eyes locked onto the symbol shown proudly against her pale chest. The summoner knew little about the guild Nightmare, but their guild symbol was recognizable from a mile away. “So,” she began, pushing long black locks of hair from her face, “Might I ask who you are? It’s… unusual to find another mage like us in a place such as this.”

A sharp hissing noise echoed through the spacious chamber, bouncing off the walls and the smooth surface of the water before dying away. Aeluri dismissed it quickly, figuring Dahlia’s feathered friend had gotten in a squabble with a bug. Umbra wasn’t as sure, so the black feline stood and padded towards the noise, senses on edge for danger. Though it was a spa, there was always the chance of something dangerous lurking around. Poking his pink nose into various corners and holes, the cat didn't find anything particularly suspicious. There was the lurking smell of something, but Umbra couldn't put his paw on it. With a shrug, he returned to the poolside, lounging on a fluffy towel.
