Arcadia's reaction didn't fool Nessa one bit, she grinned at the girl as she at first attempting to mask his excitement and wonder but failed. Proceeded to hug Nessa tightly, Nessa laughed, giving the girl and squeeze back. "I know right, I love it here. It really feels like a magical universe." She said with a glance around, she watched as Arcadia dashed ahead, admiring all the wonderful sights Valhalla provided them.
They walked along the cloudy path, it wasn't long before they arrived at Odin's Hall, the white castle amongst the clouds. Like something out of a fairy tale, it's magnificent structure always filled Nessa with a sense of awe. She stepped ahead of Arcadia, "If the girls get a bit much let me know okay, We'll head back." She told the girl, she knew they were going to be welcoming but they were also very excitable. Nessa was always exhausted after dealing with them, hopefully they would be a little gentler with Arcadia. Nessa knocked gently, before pushing open the white wooden doors. They were greeted with the usual sound of laughing and chattering. Nessa led Arcadia inside, "Hey ladies, um... I brought a friend." The heads of five women turned in there direction. It seemed they weren't all in, Scythen and Ellamora were both missing from the table.
They had walked straight into a long rectangular room, large wooden pillars standing at over a hundred metres in height. In the centre of the great hall, was a round table at least ten metres wide all the way around, completely covered in food and drink. Seated around it, an array of different thrones. All designed with their own magnificence and detailing. The girls stood up out of their seats and approached them, "This is Arcadia, she's my guildmate. Arcadia, this are the Valkyries of Valhalla."
The first to step up was Tiphanae, a fair-haired delicate beauty, and the reason Nessa was affiliated with the Valkyries. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance Arcadia, any friend of Nessa Lux is a friend of ours." She offered with a graceful bow, before straightening up, she threw Nessa a soft smile, "Good to see you too Nessa Lux." She added.
"Good to see you too Tiphanae," Nessa replied, The second was a woman who appeared to be completely made of flame, beautiful and dangerous, Lucinda offered a bright friendly smile. "Hey there, I'm Lucinda, I would shake ya hand but I hear humans aren't so keen on touching flames so, " She offered the girl a vigorous wave. Nessa grinned, she hadn't met Lucinda originally, but the girl was friendly and fiery, full of confidence and nice despite being a walking fireball.
The third to introduce herself was a pretty red-head, the demon Valkyrie smiled nervously at the girl, hiding her demon arm behind her back. "Um, I'm Elgorea, nice to meet you." She added shyly, she opened her mouth to speak to Nessa but was interrupted by a rather stony faced brunette.
"She's so small, why did you bring her here Nessa Lux? Didn't know you were a babysit-" Tiphanae pulled her sword out so fast it was nearly invisible to the eye, pointing it inches from Agatha's face.
"Mind your manners Agatha, that is not how we treat guests in Odin's hall. Especially not someone Nessa Lux felt was worthy enough to bring here to meet us," Agatha's eyes narrowed dangerously,
"If you don't move that sword Tiph, I'm gonna shove it somewhere real hard to dislodge," Agatha growled. Tiphanae held her stance, unfazed by Agatha's threat. The air between them almost seem to crackle with tension. It was then that a sweet soft voice broke the silence.
"Now, now ladies, let's not fight in front of our new guest." Stepping in between the ladies was a white-haired Valkyrie, with a perfectly lovely smile. Her mercury eyes landed on Nessa, then lowered to Arcadia. Suddenly, she let out an excited squeal. Rushing forward, she pulled Arcadia into a tight cuddle. "Well, aren't you the cutest little cherub I have ever laid my eyes on," She put Arcadia down, before stepping back. She raised her hands up, facing her palms downwards, little snowflakes began to fall from her fingers, "And a fabulously frosty one too, just like me. I'm Arcturus."
Nessa watched the hold scene unfold with a overwhelming sense of anxiety, just as she thought. The girls was a lot to handle, but at least Scythen wasn't here. She didn't need who being all super spooky on Arcadia's first visit.
