Personality: The time he spent with the nightmares has grown his heart full of hate, especially towards any from that guild. He is calm and collected however, and can direct his hate where it won't hurt anyone. He isn't one to hold a grudge, but it can't be helped when his thoughts of that guild master come back to him.

That hate doesn't help him around others, he often avoids any humans. The only ones he knew were his bullies, he is perhaps afraid of them now. From that fear, he learned to suppress his feelings, and to fake the ones that'd help him out of any situation he doesn't like.

Minoru is not a good person, neither is he evil. He does what is moral when he can, what's not when he needs to, well aware being good alone won't help him on the verge of starvation. He has promised to never harm anyone how he did as a nightmare member, but he still is a bad person at times. Although no where near how he was back in there, he at least doesn't follow an evil cause any more. And perhaps follows no cause at all.

Despite having enough to occupy his mind, he still is often on the hunt for more. He always wishes to learn more. And not just his curiousity, most of his instincts are strong, his thirst and appetite, especially his sweet tooth. He is also highly conservative of energy, or, as people like to call it, lazy. He hides all that behind a friendly face however, it may not be safe to himself with anyone around. They're all annoying, in his opinion. While he could keep his hate away from them, he still dislikes everyone, especially anyone whom he calls "friend" or "family". Even though he is subconsciously looking for such someone~

Likes:
Silence: it's comfortable when he doesn't hear any voices in his head. It's hard to forget where he was raised, and so he remains haunted by memories of the nightmares.

Sugar: it may be weird for him to go to a candy shop on daily basis to get some sweets, but, even if he realised that, it's too little of his concern to take either way.

Children: while they may grow to be no different than any other human, they still haven't. Minoru likes children's innocence.

Cats: Just like children, they are not rotten as grown up humans. He appreciates their cuteness.

Dislikes:
His old guild and its master: He has a little history with them, and would rather not have to see them again

Vegetables and untasty food: He is extremely picky on his food, and may keep anything that doesn't match with his taste as a second to last resort, right before starvation.

Humans: While he doesn't mind occasionally interacting with them, he would much rather not. He hides that well and acts friendly, but he dislikes most humans he has to talk with, especially those that are way too different from him and the unfriendly ones.

"Friends": It's just a name. They aren't but humans more capable of hurting him than others. The "real" ones of them, anyway.

Motivations:
Starting over: While he is so hateful of every event taking place in his life, he believes he could start over, and create a new past to look back at and appreciate in the future, rather than which he hates to recall so much.

Living: It's another instinct of his strong ones, he will fight to live out of fear of death. Even if he doesn't appreciate the life he is in, mortals were designed in a way that makes them appreciate any life over no life at all.

Curiosity: It could be the only thing that makes him progress further than just fulfilling requirements of his body to keep alive. He has a lot of questions about everything, "how is this?", "how is that?", and, most importantly, "how much potential have I?"

Fears:
Failure: It's his primary source of suffering after all. While it may hardly matter to him normally, if there was someone looking up to his success, he greatly fears to fail them.

Hurting anyone: Even though it's fine if the benefit he gains is greater than the harm he causes, and as long as that harm is little, he is afraid of hurting anyone greatly, or if he ever had a cause that is completely against what is moral.

Showing his true face: He has that smiling mask on, that loving person, who is helping everyone just because that's the right thing to do. Playing the hero at all times. Even though he wishes change what's behind it, and that he knows it would be way easier if someone helped him, he's too scared to ever drop it. He wants to change on his own, or that it never falls off.
