Okay! Welcome and let me just say now that I have as little clue as to what Im doing as you do! Read over the Sign up thread or message me on discord if you're confused ♡
tldr : everyone should be waiting at the gate, or arriving at the gate! picnic hampers with food are there and we're about to go down to the meadow area where for a few posts we'll frolic and eat before plunging down into a random cave system! But otherwise just have fun and look for cues from me or rin/theo as to when the different stages of the job start!
Please, mention to me if you have a golden lacrima or a lineage ability that increases jewel \o/

It had been a little turbulent of late, without doubt many of the members had begun to feel a little disconnected, perhaps from themselves, the meaning of the guild or from him- the Guildmaster. As odd as it was to think about that's what he was now, Desiree had decided to return home to the realm of the crystals, he didn't know much about the place but it left him without a method to even contact her. So he was here, filling the shoes, the high heels worn by his mentor with the help of two rather sugary teammates. He had faced problems before, yet now there was one not about the ratio or concentration of an acid he was adding to an experiment but about the deep set emotion of so many on board the flying city, guild mates, artists, mothers and fathers with their children, the little churches on board which held school classes for the children so they could learn life skills. They all deserved something, something which he had the power to give them. After conversing with the captain they had settled upon a plan, Captain Bojangles for such a small feline he sure could deal a great punch, metaphorically of course for it was the exceeds initial idea which had led him back to the plan. Exploration, it was why everyone gathered, the artists only came here so they could use the exploration, the new scenery or stories as muse and motivation, but the explorers were the ones who risked themselves to carve out maps that had never been made before. That was the heart of the guild, so that was what would lead them towards something which would uplift spirits. They had stood over a table, just him and the pastel grey cat moving around the map which had been crested as the guild ship and their occupants had travelled around every path. Somewhere that would unite them a little, the perfect place where everyone could have their moment, silent forests for those who adored poetry, landscapes that could steal away an artists heart and soul whilst there were silent meadows to act as a musicians stage. The blue light of the digital map under his fingers hummed slightly, a warming feeling of hope connecting him to the plans which were unfurling like the ferns of a deep green.
They had found the place, needless to say the atmosphere on the ship was not settled in the slightest for everyone who had their sight was able to gaze across the floating sky islands which passed them by. Small and big they each appeared so different, whilst one was overflowing with vibrant leaves and trees there was another so different that it had the guilds namesake- a flurry of crystals growing down the sides of it. yet they were headed towards one of the larger ones, it was much like the lands of fiore in one way, with soft grass and clovers padding the floor and a swirling mixture of natural greens and watery blues. Bojangles expertly piloted the ship down, softly landing he barely knew that they had settled atop a lake, the great staircase reaching down as each step was lowered into place, it really was magical, everything about this ship was simply superb. Yet that wasn't any reason to delay a picnic! He had left Theo and Rin in charge of getting everyone ready, each of them fit rather well into the assigned roles as Theo had been assigned to checking in with the kitchens that everything had been packed into small picnic hampers everyone could take down to the sweet little meadows. On the other hand Rin with her eternal patience, well he had asked that she would corral the guild around, pick up the picnic baskets and be waiting by the gate of the guild ship. he wouldn't be saddened if either failed, after all none of the trio had done anything like this, and whilst the local 'police' were out taking care of the idiotic poets who were prancing about those who bore a swan tattoo would be having a rather wonderful little picnic in a meadow of flowers fully enjoying themselves. yes they would.
Feet clattered up the stairs and across cobbles, with the safety procedures slowly running through the motions and the ship mid-landing there was little he could do other than gather with the rest of his guildmates and hungrily stare at the muffins, waffles, fruits, sandwiches or whatever other treats had been places in his picnic basket. Even without the magical aspects of the ship he was just so glad that they had the kitchen they had, for it was wondrous. Hair swirling as if it were the aftereffects of a blizzard he nearly ran straight past the kitchens, only briefly calling out "Theo! Lets go!" He didn't even know if the Jello mage was in there, but the picnic baskets were likely waiting at the front gate which meant that Theo was either there or had snuck back to the kitchen for a small snack. He had slowed to a slow trot, exchanging the odd smile and wave with people around him as the guild master made his way towards the gathering of mages. "Picnic time! We're just going to go down to some meadows close by that are pretty! There's food in baskets so make sure you take a basket. Um, chat I guess, get to know each other and has anyone else seen Rin or Theo?" He spoke a little fast, perhaps from his brisk pace earlier or it may have been from worry. A slight chuckle sounded as he queried the location of his friends, they could have been lost in a crowd, Rin might have been poking a cute frog in a bush and knowing Theo he could be sleeping in one of the now empty picnic baskets. "I'm Lester Drynedi! I know you all know me since I'm, well I'm the guild master but perhaps it would be a good idea if we each just shouted out our name on the way." It was awkward, for sure, yet that was just their style. When everyone was gathered and ready he didn't doubt that one of the more enthusiastic members would start running down the stairs onto the island. After all with an alluring green meadow not too far in the distance and wonderful scents rising from where delicious food was horribly imprisoned within baskets, it could drive any man mad.
