Oras and Amora had been training while waiting for their lead on the cultists.  And while waiting, they had chosen to train.  Together, alone, against foes, etc.  They were practicing martial arts, and using their magic, but also learning how to use their magic to make fighting together more efficient.  Oras found that he could use his magic to support Amora's efforts, while also fighting by her side.  He woudln't be the most potent fighter but it was something.  And besides he planned to change his magic regardless anyways.  He was fine with being supportive if Amora would be his friend and ally, but he wanted to be able to stand and fight on his own as well.  Dueling the God and falling to Torochi was an incredible motivation for him.  He was currently looking over notes he'd been writing.  Flaws in his magic, technique, goals.  At first he'd been focused on survival, but now he'd be focusing on more than that.  Now he was going to be focusing on how to overpower and maneuver around his enemy.  Offensive tactics.  He could have a few spells, maybe an ability that allowed him to act as a support, but not many.  And then of course there was figuring out more about his soul and what other abilities he had stocked up in there.  He felt something during the fight against the cultists in their temple, but he wasn't sure what that was...  What else was he capable of doing??

He looked at Amora who as busy training off to the side and sighed.  He also needed a new choice in weapons.  He wasn't sure if daggers would be cutting it anymore.  The wraith he fought had two swords, and thus reach and distance was a big problem.  If he could find a way to get around the issue of reach and distance, then he'd stand a bigger chance.  he just didn't know how to go about it.  Furthermore, he wasn't sure if illusion magic would cut it anymore.  So far he'd encountered three people it proved useless to, and one it was nearly useless with.  Torochi was a Yokai and a master of illusion who could see past his facades.  The God of blood he didn't even know how he could see past them.  Maybe it came along with being a God.  Then there was Amora who could cancel all his illusions.  Izayuki seemed to be inable to see past his illusions, but she was able to figure him out rather quickly.  Not that either of the last two were a problem as they were on his side.  But the number of people who could nullify his illusions was concerning.  He'd need a new option, and fast.  At any rate...  It needed to be changed, but he hadn't come up with anything suitable to him.  Illusion was always his personal magic, but now that it was proven useless.  It was like a part of him was dying.  Not only that but he didn't really have much of a purpose right now other than teach Amora about the world while fighting beside her.

Post by Amora Shade 7th August 2018, 3:31 pm

Amora grins to herself as she rushes towards the tree in front of her as she lunges forward like a beast of prey before twisting her body in the air to strike at where a human head would be with the back of her foot. Quickly utlizing the momentum she kicks off of the tree forming her wings and firing it around her target as fast as she could while forming her porcupine quills and firing them down on the last remaining spot where her target could choose to escape towards. Frowning to herself as if the plan failed as her mind just goes to the worst possibly conclusions to prepare for she fires off towards the sky doing a small loop before plunging right towards her opponent bending her knees ever so slightly while flying down towards a tree. Kicking rather early before getting near the tree and quickly flapping her wings multiple times to deaden the momentum of her as she harmlessly kicks off of the tree and lands upon the ground looking towards it. Seeing multiple feathers and quills sticking out of it along with a bit of broken bark from her foot hitting the target she sighs softly and shakes her head. 'That would kill someone possibly if i went that fast at them. I need to think of non-lethal ways to take my opponents down since all of my attacks are basically maiming my opponent till they can't fight back.' She thinks to herself while looking towards her hands opening and closing her palms ever so slightly while thinking on that. That her strength combined with every attack is meant to kill in some fashion with electricity to fry them, strength to break bones, and quills and feathers for piercing her targets alive. Only having three spells that aren't for hurting that being her shield, invisibility from normal sight, and finally her claw which was meant to disorient by using sound.

She glances towards her partner for only a moment before moving towards a new tree and continues once more trying to develop a style that could work for herself. She rushes towards her new one with a open palmed claw strike not hitting the tree since she would be hurting herself. After the attack she quickly spun around with her foot to strike near the neck area as she bends her leg around the imaginary opponent. Amora lands on the ground with her right hand against it and her body bent as if to mimic having her leg around someone and then shakes her head and sighs softly. Real combat is the only way to form actual fighting. She says to herself while getting back towards her initial combat stance before glancing towards her partner. 'Maybe i should tell him that...what is the harm i'm certain we can find a job that involves fighting human opponents easily.' She thinks to herself as she makes her way towards Oras at a steady pace to make sure not to scare him before they would do anything drastic. Oras can we go and find some actual opponents to fight. I feel like that would help me best. She asks in a curious tone of voice with a tilt of her head as she looks towards her partner. If i have an actual opponent to fight i can try to figure out how they could react and fight against me. Trees don't fight back at all so it is hard to try and think of everything. She says with a pout across her face.

Post by Oras Auro 7th August 2018, 3:50 pm

While Amora was training against trees and the like, Oras was continuing to theorize.  There were many forms of magic he could go for, and they could all fit into some sort of category or sub category.  An example being how there was caster, holder, requip, takeover, lost and slayer magics.  Then branching from takeover there was animalistic and demonic.  Like with Amora and her animal transformations, and the cultist woman with her demonic transformations.  Oras was going to be a caster type magic, that was obvious.  He didn't want to be a holder on the off chance that he was disarmed.  Requip was useless against superior powers such as that God.  Takeover wasn't Oras' type, especially since he had NO idea what his chaotic spirit would have him transform into.  He didn't know any lost magic so that wouldn't help him, and he couldn't see himself as a slayer of any sort...  Not now at least.  So that left him with Caster.  The problem was that the list of sub categories was insanely long.  He wasn't sure which would fit him since illusion was not at all a good match for him.  There were the elements of course, but he had heard of slayers being able to devour the elements of others.  Or rather, he read that in a book.  There was also actions, such as telekinesis and transfiguration, but he could already do that.  And it wasn't exactly effective as he'd like it to be.  He could try mastering a way to take his mana from his body and solidifying it in some way, creating strong and potent weapons, but that also didn't seem like his style.  He could try it out to see how it worked though.  And then he also needed to find some equipment to give him an edge.  Everyone seemed to have some kind of magical armor or weapon, so he'd need to play along at some point.

Suddenly he heard Amora calling out to him and looked up, closing his book.  When she mentioned her request to fight some other humans to sharpen his skills he chuckled.
"Well I doubt anyone would willingly fight you with the way you transform into chimera's, but perhaps we could find something.  Come on, let's head into the town and see what we can find."  Oras led Amora into Rose Garden and into the streets.  As they entered the crowd his mask materialized.  People were slowly beginning to remember and affiliate him with the Black Rose guild, which would make maneuvering the place easier as they respected guild wizards.  As he walked with Amora he would think out loud.  "Perhaps I should join along too.  I need to find something I can replace my magic with and at the current moment I'm rather clueless.  All I know is that I can't use illusion magic anymore.  And it's not just because of your ability to dispel illusions.  It's because three times it's been useless to me from three individuals.  As if I wasn't doing anything.  The problem is, I don't know what style would suit me.  I don't even know what type of weapon would suit me either.  I guess we're both in need of 'test subjects',"  he said with a grin.  Amora could see past his illusionary mask, he made sure of it.  As they were walking through however he noted a crowd and used his magic to get a good look at the notice board.  He saw a flier that appeared to stand out among the rest.  A tournament?  He paused and focused on it a little more.  "...Amora, do you know what a tournament is?"

Tournament for Training - Road Fighter Empty Re: Tournament for Training - Road Fighter

Post by Amora Shade 7th August 2018, 4:08 pm

Got it Ares lead the way. She says with a nod of her head as a grin appears on her face when hearing that her request is being accepted. Using the nickname since they are going to be heading towards a public place, so she is quickly shifting to that mentality to make sure she doesn't screw up. She follows her partner rather happily wherever he will lead the duo as she glances around the environment while allowing her thoughts to draft. Amora also making sure to keep her excitement contained and just having a rather happy smile on her face. Unable to contain it all and being rather eager to accept any fight that could come to her from any opponent that would want to try and fight her at any time. Amora rather happy for such a prospect since she has been enjoying a rather good fight more and more as humans have been displaying more strength that is surpassing her own. The desire to grow stronger and surpass every opponent that she will go up against increasing with every fight that she gets into. The need to prove that she is the alpha hunter prevalent in her mind and showing through her way of fighting with how much she relies on just a display of grand strength and power as soon as she is able to do so. When they enter the crowded streets she grabs her partner's hand and keeps a hold of it to make sure that she won't get separated from him. To avoid ending up being lost in a town or city without any real sense of how to get back. Especially since it is rather crowded meaning if she tried to use her senses she would more likely end up on the ground unconscious from sensory overload rather then finding her partner quickly.

She looks towards her partner and smiles at hearing that he might join her in fighting against live prey that would be used to sharpen there skills in combat. The promise of a amazing fight basically being handed to her since she knows her partner would do his best to guarantee that they would be worthy opponents if they are meant to stand against him. Well if that is the case Ares why not invest in something familiar but different that isn't your illusions? That way you aren't starting from square one with everything and can keep a similar strategy at the very least from what you know how to use. At the very least if you're thinking of getting a weapon why not keep that in mind with what you end up creating. It could be a useful thing to combine together if you get a weapon. She suggests to her partner with a small shrug of her shoulders as she makes sure to stick close to her partner. When hearing his next question she tilts her head and furrows her brows as her mind tries to remember the word if she had ever read about it back when Oras forced her to learn a lot of words to be part of this world, or if she just learned it from something else. After a bit of thinking she shakes her head no towards her partner. Nope can't say i have ever heard of a tournament. She says honestly to him as she looks towards the crowd that her partner is looking towards and sees past them some kind of flier that mentions a tournament. Looking towards it she glances through the information herself reading it with her own heightened senses, and as she reads it a very big grin appears on her face as her eyes gain this gleam in them. I'm entering that tournament Ares. She says with the biggest grin on her face practically bouncing in place at reading the part that got her to join hands down. The fact that supposedly the strongest fighters around have gone into one place to fight against each other. Her mind racing at the various possibly abilities that she will get to see displaced which includes fighting styles that she could face off against to improve her slowly developing makeshift one.

Tournament for Training - Road Fighter Empty Re: Tournament for Training - Road Fighter

Post by Oras Auro 7th August 2018, 6:45 pm

Oras listened to Amora as she made her suggestion, seeming to be very excited about fighting against real individuals. Hearing her suggest altering to a magic that was at least similar to his original magic being illusions, so that he wouldn't have to start from scratch. He recognized that she was speaking from experience, seeing as how she had grown up with nothing but animals it wasn't too far of a stretch from her earth magic. Therefore it was an easy transition and switch from her caster magic to her newfound takeover magic. However, he wasn't sure how he could do such a thing. His magic was based on tricking the senses of his opponent's. Sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell. These became useless when he used his magic, able to conjure and alter any of those senses at will. With this he could use his telekinesis to alter the world in the real sense, while creating illusions to prevent his enemies from discerning real from fake. What sort of magic would even come close to it? Oras wasn't able to think of anything on the spot. "I don't see what could be even remotely close to Illusion magic, but I'll take time to think about it. If I can manage to think of something I will look into it, promise. In the meantime, I'll try to use this upcoming event to decide what sort of fighting style would best suit me. Test a few things on our opponents. I doubt any of them will be god level or cancel out illusions, so I might as well."

When she mentioned how she didn't in fact know what a tournament was he would explain. "It's essentially an official contest, which is where a large group of people compete to see who is the greatest, the supreme in their area. There are contests to see who can create the best art. Contests to see who is the most beautiful, etc. Most of these are rather pointless unless you're aim is to hone your skills with some healthy competition. A tournament is more organized, and far larger than most contests. Because of this they set up a 'bracket' system. How it works in our case, is they will break us all up into categories. Each of us having an opponent. When we defeat our opponent we move on to the next match, or duel if you will. This continues until there are only the strongest two or four remaining, depending if it's single fighting or team fights. Then the two sides fight, with the victor given a reward, and are usually more known afterwards... Thinking about this, we should probably come up with more refined and official names for the public. Since people will more than likely recognize us after this. Pan and Ares wouldn't work. At any rate it's in another town, so we should start heading our way there. I picked up a magical artifact that will allow me to teleport to any town I've been to, so we can get a jumpstart and take a carriage the rest of the way there. It would be the fastest anyway."

Oras thought about it. This tournament would most definitely make him more widely known and he wasn't exactly certain he wanted that. Should he create some sort of disguise? Or... No. He would just use his mask and his current outfit like always. The issue was the name, as people usually used names to discern who was who. He was planning to change his magic from illusion to something else though, so Verus would no longer cut it. He had to come up with something else. It had to have some kind of meaning behind it. Something that related to him and not his magic. Especially since giving away his magic would remove his advantage as a wizard. He needed something that would hold meaning to it. He didn't care if people caught onto the name or not, nor did he care about them caring. It didn't affect his ability to use magic and protect the innocent or complete jobs after all. Still, he couldn't just disregard the thought of a name. Despite how he felt about it, names were important. They had a sort of, power to them.

Tournament for Training - Road Fighter Empty Re: Tournament for Training - Road Fighter

Post by Amora Shade 7th August 2018, 7:02 pm

She looks towards her partner and smiles a bit sadly in slight understanding of what he has to be going through in wanting to change his magic. Having done so herself, not out of her free will, it was the same experience in the end though that the two change there magic to face a world that is vastly different then what they thought it was going to be starting off. Not one of just surviving from one day till the next with what they can scrape by out of jobs, but by fighting for something or the other even if it is to become the greatest fighter that he world has ever seen. She glances towards Oras and just gives a small smile. Maybe the key isn't changing your magic entirely, but instead just thinking of a new way of using what you already have. She says towards him to try and at least cheer him up slightly if this magic business is making him rather upset about how to tackle the tasks that are ahead of the two of them. When thinking of the tournament she smiles ever so slightly wondering what will be ahead of the two of them to face off against that could give her a interesting challenge. A opponent that she has never seen or met that won't be trying to kill her, so she could forge a new style of fighting on the fly to try and outwit her opponents that would be going for a victory.

When hearing about tournaments a grin slowly appears on her face at the idea of fighting fighters from all across the continent, and then being more known ever as a alpha of fighters seeming rather intriguing to the girl. A smile on her face already knowing what she is going to do for the tournament that might seem like a fool's thing to do in her partner's eyes. However, this could be a rather interesting method to use to come out of her years of wilderness living in some form or the other. A way if that village remembers her can see that she has thrived under new conditions of living and forged her own path instead of becoming a forgotten corpse in the woods fed to dogs. She smiles at the thought of her former home village hearing of her exploits of winning this tournament if that occurs and then going on to continue fighting up the food chain in some fashion or the other. Snapping back towards reality she nods towards her partner with a serious look burning in her amber eyes and a smile on her face as she acknowledges what he had said towards her. Well what are we waiting for then Ares. There is a town needing to be teleported to, and a tournament needing my name on its champion sign. Also got it Pan won't be my name for this tournament. She says in a slight joking tone of voice towards Oras with a grin on her face. While answering in a rather serious and calm tone of voice when saying she won't use the name Pan. She looks towards her partner and grabs onto him for when he would activate this artifact thing that he says he has. Not wishing to miss her one way ticket towards a closer place towards the tournament that would honestly be a rather big waste of time to miss after planning to go to it.

Tournament for Training - Road Fighter Empty Re: Tournament for Training - Road Fighter

Post by Oras Auro 7th August 2018, 7:49 pm

Amora once again tried to encourage him, stating how he didn't have to change it entirely.  Just alter it and come up with new ways to use it.  New ways to use illusions he thought.  He couldn't think of anything off the top of his head, especially since he was the type of person to go deep, deep down a path of thought until he had explored every possibility.  He needed time to consider this carefully and thoroughly.  In this sense, he'd be going down a very long and branching train of thought, as there were practical, strategic, head on, and foolish but surprising ways he could use illusion magic.  Originally he had dismissed the others because, well.  Not only out of his own personality and beliefs, but also because the others didn't seem really practical or held much use.  Still, the unexpected gave one strength, especially since no one could prepare for everything.  Let alone the unexpected.  He also realized there were aspects that he hadn't tapped into yet.  That his soul as well could touch.  There was the mind and spirit, as well as magical senses.  Which would bring the total of senses to, sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste, thoughts and telepathy, spirits and souls, and magic senses.  She was right to an extent, he could technically do more than he was currently doing.  "I'll think about it..  For now however we should probably come up with a strategy of sorts we wish to go with when we participate in the tournament.  Come on, let's head out."  He took Amora's hand and would teleport them to the town closest to Talonia.

After traveling to the town, the two found a notice board with the flier.  Following the directions they made their way to the arena.  This would be Amora's first time at an arena or tournament, so he was sure the building that held the arena would have some sort of impression on her. They would walk over to the sign up desk, where people were in line.  As they waited Oras thought about what sort of name he would be giving to the woman.  Should he choose to go with his illusion magic just in case?  No, there wasn't a guarantee he would keep illusion.  His philosophies were on hinges at the moment after his insane two weeks.  His soul....  That's it.  He should go with what wasn't different.  What he had discovered.  He still didn't know the full extent of it, but there was one thing for certain.  They reached the desk and the woman asked with a smile:
"Welcome!  May I have your names to start off?"  Oras let Amora speak up first, before speaking himself through his mask.  "My name is Maelren.  We're here to join the tournament."  The woman nodded with a smile.  "Alright, Amora and Maelren.  Interesting names you guys got~  Then again, I've seen weirder, ha ha!  Alright, you'll be put in bracket thirty mister Maelren, and Amora...  Bracket fifty nine.  Please follow the signs to your designated brackets and await your matches, ok?"  As they moved forward Oras asked her, "May I ask why you used your real name?"

Tournament for Training - Road Fighter Empty Re: Tournament for Training - Road Fighter

Post by Amora Shade 7th August 2018, 8:15 pm

She grins rather happily as she gets teleported to a tone as she glances around it for only a brief moment before following her partner once more to make there way towards the place where the tournament would be held for them to participate in. She follows her partner down the path towards the arena and upon the sight of it her eyes go wide and excitement bubbles up within her. Seeing the grand scope of it fills her with the utmost excitement for everything of what is about to occur for her. To fight in a grand arena for people to watch the events going on and to see her fighting style displayed for everybody able to watch. Amora having chosen not to say anything about her strategy when entering this tournament since that would ruin the fun of fighting against her partner when the time came for them to battle it out. She looks towards the lady that requires there name as she looks towards the lady and nods her head with a smile. My name is Amora Shade. She says towards the lady with a grin on her face and a nod of her head and a grin on her face that is easily seen by anyone since she doesn't have her combat gear on. When hearing the woman's combat about her name she frowns ever so slightly feeling offended that he woman dislikes her name the one that her parents had given her. Her hand twitches ever so slightly as instincts try to takeover to rend this woman for just a brief moment as Amora quickly quells the beasts within her and just nods her head giving a friendly smile. Got it Ma'am thank you for the help. Amora says to the woman before making her way towards the inside of the building. Ignoring the unease in her soul demanding retribution for the insult towards what her parents named her.

As she makes her way forward she glances towards her partner and lets a small grin appear on her face. To everyone i will be Pan that is all that is needed. My name however i want to make sure it reaches my home town to let them know i am alive and thriving. That i thrived while they wished me to wilt and disappear. I will show them that nothing holds down me to show them that in the end there demon is stronger for there actions. She says with a bit of venom and anger in her words being rather obvious from word choice and tone of her voice. She continues forward as they enter the building as she glances towards her partner once more and gives a small smile. Don't worry i'm not going to go out and murder anyone. She says to him in a gentle tone not wanting him to worry about her as she looks towards the sign in front of her. 1-50 towards the left, and 51-100 toward the right. She says softly and nods her head slowly at that in understanding. Figuring that 200 fighters in one room might be a bit to much and that way at least half of the fighter would be unknown to the other half about there capabilities. She looks towards her partner and gives a nod of her head and a smile. See you on the other side when i beat you this time, and keep in mind. No killing or anything like that. She says jokingly to her partner since she knows that he wouldn't kill anybody from her experience with him on there jobs.

With that she turns around and makes her way towards her ring as a feral grin appears on her face as a lot of excited energy fills her body for the fights ahead. She quickly waits sitting at her ring that is assigned to her and just stares forward waiting for her opponent to appear and after quite a bit of a wait for the official tournament to begin someone appears. A man of green skin and red hair making his way into the ring as she grins and stands upwards and gets into a loose fighting stance a smirk from ear to ear. Good luck green man. She says with a tone of glee as she only gets a animalistic grunt in response and with that a referee announces the start of the fight as Amora casually notices some cameras on her fight and on every fight seemingly. She quickly glances back seeing her opponent move forward towards her as its? His? Body glows with electrical power as she quickly ducks out of the way towards the left side of the creature and then strikes at its shoulder as the beast presses closer towards the ground and unleashes a electrical dome around it shocking her as she grits her teeth as she backs away. Mmmk. Interesting electricity looks like one of my options are shut down. She mutters softly to herself as she once more gets into a fighting stance letting her left arm gain a slight iron like sheen to it as it bulks up and the other grow bulkier like the left but become ape like. With this Amora charges forward with a smirk on her face attending to just power her way through this opponent. Watching the creature remain where it is for the most part until suddenly lunging forward with some surprising speed she quickly responds by gripping her hands together into a fist and then slamming it down onto the creature's back forcing it into the ground. She then quickly backs away with a grin on her face all the while during the fight as the ref starts counting down as she looks towards him in confusion not understanding the idea of a rule policy for knocked out opponents.

Oras listened to Amora as she told him how she would have her name be known as Pan to everyone eles, but that she wanted her real name to spread throughout the land. So that the people from her home would know that she was not only still alive, but thriving. That there was nothing in this world which could hold her down. He nodded, understanding why she was doing that. It was sort of bringing closure to her scarred past. Closing that chapter once and for all.. Though it was possible the village may try to hunt her down upon finding out she was alive, he highly doubted it. Wherever they were it was extremely secluded, as nearly all of Fiore was not only filled with magic users, but their culture and technology as well. The people loved wizards for the most part. Even if they got past all of that and found Amora, they wouldn't be a match for her. She was far too powerful, and was no longer some meek, defenseless and scared child. She was a warrior, taming the beast within her. Both the animal, and whatever caused the frozen flame. Granted it would take time for full control, but he believed she would reach the point in time. "I understand. It makes sense Amora. I'm glad you found a way to reach a form of closure." He placed a hand on her shoulder. "However, even if you don't intend to attack anyone in any way. Don't do it for your hatred. Don't do it to spite them. Do it for you. To show them, and yourself, just how far you've come. How you faced every obstacle, every danger, and survived. And that they have only made you stronger than you ever could be on your own with them. Don't do it out of anger. Do it out of pride. Just as I'm proud of you," he said with a smile.

They soon reached the parting area, and Oras nodded to her with a chuckle.
"I'll try not to. You never know with morons. I'll see you at the end Amora." And with that, they would walk down different paths. Each down to their areas, their rooms. Where elimination rounds would begin and reduce the number of fighters down to the strongest ones. As he walked down the hall however, he thought about something... She was giving herself some closure in regards to her painful past. The past where the townspeople killed her parents, and tried to kill her because they hated magic deeply, for one stupid reason or another. She was able to close that chapter... Oras couldn't say the same. He was finally getting past his insecurity, but there was one piece of his past that was still haunting him.. Raven. His childhood friend who may or may not actually be alive to this day. He was unsure of whether or not she was still alive, but from the reaction he got from one of the Black Rose members he was. He had asked the resources of the guild to help him in his search for her, but so far they hadn't found anything.. He walked into the room in silence, and moved over to a corner of the room. He leaned up against it, using his magic to turn that area into a sort of shadow, blending in with it with his mask covering his face. He closed his eyes, seeing his friend in his mind. Even if she was alive, what would she be like? How much would she have changed?

Time passed, and the elimination rounds were beginning. Oras didn't watch the fights. He simply leaned against the corner, deep in thought. That is, until his name was called.
"Maelren! Guile! You're up now!" Oras finally opened his eyes, albeit slowly. He made his way over through the crowd of contestants. Most of them making fun of him and his cloak and hood. Oras of course said nothing as he passed through the crowd. He reached the arena and stepped inside, seeing his opponent. He barely had to analyze, knowing real quick this man was either military or ex military. The stance, the look in his eyes, and his build made that clear. The man grinned to Oras. "Interesting choice in outfit you got there. Aren't you afraid it will be a bit restraining in a fight?" Oras shook his head only slightly, not saying anything. "A man of little words. I respect that," the soldier said with a firm nod. Then they understood each other. Oras wasn't exactly in the mood to chit chat.

"Alright remember! No killing blows! No weapons other than fist tools! And no crazy magic like meteors, or fissures, or anything else that will kill or destroy the stage! The first person to be knocked out, gives up, or falls out of the ring is the loser! Got it? Good! Now ready, set, begin!"

Oras took a neutral stance. One good for starting offense while also ready for defense. The soldier tried to start a circle, where the two would rotate. But Oras didn't move, which surprised the soldier. Taking this brief moment of shock Oras shot forward, sending a kick the man's way. He was blocked however, as the man quickly recovered from his shock. No surprise there. Oras backed off and the real fight began. The soldier's strikes were mainly full of force rather than speed. Granted the man was fast, but Oras was far faster and able to evade nearly each blow with ease. Eventually Oras would attempt to gain the advantage, by grappling the man's arm on his next swing, and used his momentum to toss him onto the ground. However in mid toss, the soldier pulled off a maneuver that Oras was barely able to follow, which he had never seen before. The result was the opposite of the intention, with Oras on the ground and the soldier over him. However Oras had tricks up his sleeve as well. He managed to trip the soldier and leaped to his feet. They both continued their fight, each trying to gain an advantage. Oras wasn't using his magic, nor was he going all out. This man had Oras' respect, and he'd give him a fight that he would enjoy. Eventually however, he needed to move on, and struck him hard in the abdomen. The man collapsed to the ground, and signaled that he was giving up. As the announcer, announced. Oras helped the soldier up.

"Well fought." "Heh, well fought indeed. I wasn't able to land a hit on you, even when you were going easy.. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this." "Not so. You just need to work on some techniques is all. Perhaps think about looking into magic. It may be something you're not used to, but you can use it to enhance your abilities. And create tricks and techniques your enemies will never be ready for." "...I'll think about it. Maelren was it? I'll be watching your matches closely."

Post by Amora Shade 9th August 2018, 10:27 pm

Amora looks towards her opponent with a smirk on her face finding it rather interesting what she has to face as the very first round against a creature that is rather unpredictable seemingly. Which makes her rather curious what her partner could be facing till they get down to the final members for the finale which most likely will have thousands of people watching from across the kingdom that is Fiore. She quickly side steps out of the way of her opponent before striking downwards as fast as she can as her green opponent barely manages to dodge out of her striking range as the floor beneath her feet cracks from the force of the strike. She looks towards the beast like man as she watches it lunges towards her as it swings its foot towards her as she raises her hands towards the side taking the hit causing her to slide to the side ever so slightly. She turns back towards the creature with a grin having not felt that much from the impact do to her strengthened arms as she rushes forward and punches it across the face sending it across the arena to just on the outskirts of the out of bounds area. The takeover fighter grins as she watches her opponent slowly get back up and sparking with electricity with no seeming end to it doing so. Amora smiles as she blows a bit of her hair out of her vision and charges forth once more towards the being and punches it once more in the gut with her fists only to receive for her efforts a direct link to her as she feels a rather powerful shock. Amora grits her teeth as her limbs lock in place from the electricity having entered her muscles. The raven haired girl quickly tries to use her eel takeover to redistribute the electricity running through her with the attempts failing rather badly. However, much to her confusion she hears a bell go off along with her being told as the victor for this match as she looks towards her opponent seeing it awake, but simply out of the ring and seemingly grumbling in anger.

After a bit of time the muscle constriction stops as she lets out of a breathe of relief as she deactivates her takeovers. After that she sees the green skinned man thing make its way over and extending its hand towards her as Amora smiles and shakes her opponent's hand feeling the tight grip around the creature's much larger hand now. Good fight Blanka i believed they called you. She says with a small smile towards the green creature with a nod of her head as the creature just grunts and makes its way past her as she just watches it go away. That...that is the weirdest thing i have seen yet i think. She says softly to herself with a shrug of her shoulders before getting out of the ring and waits for her next match to start. Then repeating the process over and over using various takeovers for various situations that had come up. Having revealed all of her cards by this point except for her full takeovers having manged to save those for the finale against the strongest fighters. She grins as the last fight ends and being told that the finale rounds would occur the next day. She glances towards her side towards the other victors on her side and seeing some weirdly dressed man in pink clothes, a person wearing a white gi and red head band thing. One wearing a red gi and black belt with blonde haire. A really dark skinned man wearing white wraps around his hands. 'A interesting group for certain.' She thinks to herself.

Time Skip:  Elimination round to the public tournament

Oras was waiting in the, well the waiting room behind the arena.  There was much chatter and talk outside and could be heard in the room.  Oras was leaning against the wall, his face concealed by his mask as he stood there, deep in thought.  Part of him was thinking about Raven, but the other half was analyzing his opponents.  Everyone who made it through the elimination rounds was in this room, and it ended up being a total of fourteen contestants, including Oras and Amora, who still had to enter the room.  How the system would work this time was the lowest would fight their way to the top, until there was only two remaining.  Then those two would duel each other to determine the ultimate victor.  As it so happened, Oras and Amora were the bottom two.  Thus they would be the ones having the most fights, as Oras doubted they'd lose this tournament.  Most of them looked like typical martial artists, with an occasional difference being fist weapons like claws, and the chance of their enemies having magic of some sort.  They ignored him for the most part, even those who had seen him during their elimination rounds.  The reason for this was because he only used martial arts and no magic.  He was saving that for the more difficult opponents.  Surprise would be a good element on his side after all.

Soon enough Amora entered the room and the staff member would nod.
"Alright then here's how it's going to work!  This is a tournament yes, but we're also giving the audience a show!  So going by your win rate, as well as whether you've participated in or won a contest before, we will be organizing you from lowest to highest.  The two lowest will fight their way to the top, each taking on an opponent on their own.  If someone loses, the winner continues in their place, until only two fighters remain.  Then those two will duel for the title of champion!  Here is the list we have set up, going from the bottom to top:  Amora Shade!  Maelren!  Hibiki!  Wyvern!  Masters!  Detective Chun!  Cam!  Mike Bison!  Vega!  Tagas!  Colonel Damon!  Kouken!  And Demon!  Remember to step on stage when your  name is called.  Please try not to do any instant ko's and put on a good show!  It helps the event and, well, kinda helps us build up the paycheck.  Everyone cool on that?  Alright we got a bit before the first match.  Don't, don't fight until it's your turn."

Post by Amora Shade 10th August 2018, 4:31 pm

Amora looks towards the lists of opponents that have taken up residence in the room behind the arena for how the tournament is going to work. She nods her head with a slight tilt of her head at being told that she should be doing while within combat for the duration of the tournament. 'Not try to end the fight as quick as possible? This is a tournament about proving how good you are at fighting against others not some public ad about what the hosts are about.' She thinks to herself a bit bitterly but nods her head in acceptance since this is how she will get known through at least Fiore in some manner. She waits patiently as the man who is the tournament referee makes his way towards the arena stage and starts to speak into some device that amplifies his voice throughout the entire arena fighting stage. "Welcome ladies and gents to the 28th annual Road Fighters Tournament!" Amora hears over the loud speakers as she waits patiently tuning out all of the talking until she hears her name be called by the person as she goes over the various outfits of the other people. Seeing that most seem to revolve around using martial arts for there fighting styles as she nods her head with a small smile knowing how she will have to deal with her opponents perfectly.

"-first match.." Amora perks up at hearing that phrase as a grin goes from ear to ear as she waits to see and hear who the first fight is going to end up being. "Amora Shade vs Wyvern" Hearing the matchup Amora quickly makes her way towards the arena stage covering her eyes as the sun hits them as she transitions to the outside quickly. When her eyes adjust she finds herself a bit awestruck as her body moves on autopilot to her starting position within the ring. 'So..so many people.' She thinks to herself knowing that every single set of eyes is watching her and her fight she turns her gaze towards her opponent a man wearing a white gi and having a red cloth belt tied on his forehead seemingly. She watches the opponent bow to her as Amora just nods her head not understanding why he did so while having a fist against a open palm. Lets get to fighting. Amora says with a grin across her face. With that said a bell goes off declaring the match begun along with a shout saying the same as Amora wastes no time doing the eel, minotaur, and ape combination for maximum hurt in physical damage. The raven haired girl smiling happily to herself as her snakelike eyes now settle onto her opponent as she watches him cup his hands together and unleash a large blast of magical energy at her. Thinking quickly she moves towards the side out of the way of the very fast incoming projectile the attack heading towards the audience only to dissipate once it started to near them. "Don't worry folks! The Road Fighters tournament has made sure to pay in the greatest amount of barrier magic, and magic nullification to ensure your safety!" The reff says as Amora doesn't register the words at all to focus on the task at hand.

Moving forward towards her opponent running across the stage keeps a firm locked stare at her opponent and his movement. She sees him run towards her also and she smiles at that until he jumps in the air and manages to stay evenly in the same vertical line with a spinning kick towards her. Amora quickly raises her a fist and throws a punch directly at the leg electricity running over her minotaur takeover arm as her fist collides with the leg. The two managing to surprisingly stalemate entirely as her opponent then kicks over the raven haired fighter by utilizing his momentum to get behind her. As fast as lightning she feels a punch towards her back causing her to lose her footing for only a moment as she quickly tries to recover from the sudden attack only to end up having her feet knocked out from under her by a low sweeping kick. Using her simian arm she slams that into the ground for stability she bends her legs together and quickly kicks her opponent wyvern in the chest staggering him back. After doing so she gets herself back on her feet instead of her hand as she smiles a bit rather curious about what else her opponent has in store for her.

Post by Oras Auro 15th August 2018, 5:50 am

Oras walked over to Amora when he heard what she said and chuckled before speaking to her. "It's so that the audience can enjoy it as much as you are.  Think of it as playing with your opponent.  Messing around with them before finishing them off.  If you can, try to make them see how hopeless it is to win.  Anything to get the audience going.  Don't worry, I'm pretty sure you'll figure the why and how out pretty quickly."  He heard the announcer starting everything off and looked at Amora.  "Good luck Amora.  Give them a show worth coming for."  He sees the smile on her face as she goes out to fight her opponent.  Wyvern.  Oras found a section where he could watch the match while still being hidden from everyone else..  And also used his illusions to view the fight from other angles as well.  He wanted to be able to observe his apprentice carefully during this fight, as she had grown in strength.  Despite having ended up in a draw their last battle, he was still her mentor.  Just because his magic was temporarily weaker in his current state, didn't mean he wasn't more intelligent.  There was so much about combat he needed to teach her, as well as teaching her more about the world.  At any rate, Amora would be facing off against another opponent, and Oras needed to observe her carefully.  Determine whether or not there was anything he should talk to her about.  Any pointers, tips and tricks, lessons he could squeeze in.

Amora was rather dumbfounded and amazed at the massive crowd that was watching her.  Oras smiled under his hood and mask.  She had been in crowds before, plenty of times.  She had faced off against immense threats such as monsters, losing her magic, and even fighting a demon takeover cultist.  However she had never seen nor faced against one of life's greatest dragons:  An audience and the media.  She seemed to recover quickly however, and focused on her opponent alone now.  He could see the confusion on her face when he bowed to her.  Oras would need to explain that bit when he could...  She of course, responded with something a little more enthusiastic.  He heard the other fighters in the waiting room talking among themselves.  Some mentioning her spunk, some mentioning her cockiness.  Others defending her stating that she's just excited.  Oras said nothing, as they'd all be beaten pretty soon anyway.  Their thoughts on Amora didn't matter too much in that aspect.  Soon the fight began, and when Amora transformed the reaction from the crowd was instant.  Many were amazed at what had happened, but there was just as many people confused or scared at what had happened.  Again it didn't matter in the end, regardless of what the crowd thought.  He silently observed as the fighter started by launching a magical projectile at Amora, who had managed to dodge it rather easily.  The warrior he could tell, was testing her reaction timing.  Not actually attacking that round.  Amora made the first charge, which was to be expected.  He observed as the man also charged and attempted to leap and kick at the same time.  Many people would miss what happens next, but only because they haven't trained themselves to see fast movements..  Oras however, saw everything.  He saw Amora's attempt to strike the man.  He saw the man react accordingly, using his momentum to keep going past her attack and over her.  He watched as Amora tried to hit him while she was moving.  That however, was where she had made her mistake.  She was attempting to do too much.  He'd need to explain how she can't pack too many things into a single moment, or she would either miss something, or trip up like she did.  Sometimes you just needed to revert to a defensive and counter attacking position.  That didn't make you weaker, just wiser.

Now while he was her mentor, and could easily relay all of this to her while she was getting up he wouldn't.  Because this was also a tournament.  Even if Oras didn't feel entertained from fighting other enemies, didn't mean that she wasn't.  She was enjoying this very much, and Oras didn't want to ruin that for her.

Post by Amora Shade 15th August 2018, 6:04 am

Amora looks to her opponent with a grin across her face from ear to ear at the fight that has begun in front of her as she gets in her fighting stance and smirks to herself figuring she will just continue to use more and more of her abilities till she overpowers him. To round off her transformation she forms her eagle like wings that curl around her form before stretching out to their full length as she takes off towards her opponent. Flying just barely off of the ground as she heads towards her target her fists covered in electrical energy as she moves quickly over and swings her fist towards the man. She watches as her fist collides against x-formed arms that take the hit and get staggered back with a grin Amora continues her assault with each powerful hit impacting against the man's arms as electricity slowly fills his systems numbing his nerves. She suddenly feels a kick to her stomach as she lets out a small gasp of air as she gets lifted off of the ground before feeling her back being kicked towards the ground where she smacks into the stage. A soft groan of pain escaping her as she slowly gets up as fast as she can only to get uppercutted into the air then spin kicked back towards the other side of the stage. Landing hard she lets out a soft whimper of pain before getting back up onto her feet her yellow eyes staring death daggers into her opponent. A grin appearing on her face as her thrill for battle takes over a bit her mind still present though as she activates her chimera form. Assault mode. She whispers out before the white light consumes her.

Where once she was is now a beast of 8ft in height her minotaur like hand being changed for her armadillo shell that covers her torso. her wings spread out wide as her simian like arms slam against her chest as electricity covers the beasts body. Amora ignoring anything said or the crowds reaction at this point as she then launches a volley of arrow like feathers that pierce the stone stage. The man dodging around them with grace of only a trained fighter as he slowly inches forward as Amora herself stops her volley and rushes forward with a uppercut against his chest lifting him off of the ground as electricity surrounds his body for a brief moment. Finishing the man off with a punch to the back and into the ground as the fighter gets knocked off stage by sliding along the concrete. When he lands on the grass the ref announces. "Ring out and Knocked people! Victory for Amora Shade!" The man announces as Amora reverts back to normal and makes her way towards the back where the rest of the fighters are not caring to hear how people view her for her current fighting style. That and how she lost her objective for this tournament of using real life targets for trying to develop her own way of fighting in marital arts if her magic becomes nullified. When she enters into the back she glances towards her partner with a slightly curious look as if expecting for him to say something about her performance. Like she knows he was evaluating her by watching the match and most likely has something to say about it.

Post by Oras Auro 16th August 2018, 9:58 am

Oras continued to watch as Amora fought against her opponent. He noted she wasn't fighting with martial arts as much, and instead was using her magic.. Oras on the other hand, would only use his magic as a last resort. Or if his opponents used magic. He wanted to keep his melee combat skills sharp for the future after all. Though he was still considering a change in weaponry... The real question there was what weapon would he switch to? He had three options he was considering that may suit him. Dual swords like the wraith had, but he liked having his hands free and thus giving him options.. Then there was the idea of a single longsword, and then the idea of wielding an average style blade. Then again... He could consider using his magic to adjusting the blade's length in mid combat, which would not only give him an edge but give him more fighting styles to choose from. The great thing about swords was it's ability to adjust to many different styles. Of course, a straight sword was more suited for one on one duels, while curved swords were better for facing off against multiple targets. If he could adjust the length of the blade, Oras doubted he would have an issue with curving the blade as well. It may take some practice, and getting used to. But eventually he would master it, and hopefully become deadly in melee combat as well as magic... Which magic was an entirely different can of worms he'd have to filter through. He would have to think about this later however, and returned his attention to Amora and her own fight.

Amora took to the skies using her wing transformation and attack him once more. Oras watched as he protected himself with his arms, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Pretty soon it showed itself as she lost all defense in her attack. He swung his leg up and struck her hard with his kick, sending her skywards. He could see it hurt Amora, but he also knew that this wouldn't end the fight. It would speed it up, but not in the man's favor. He would lose, she'd feel pain and hopefully learn something from this. Namely, don't drop all your defense, as well as keep changing your position to keep them from spotting an opening. Suddenly she took on her full takeover form, causing many of the crowd to gasp in surprise. That's it, Oras thought. Game set and match. At least she had a few things she could learn from the hits she received. He waited patiently as the man was thrown out of the ring, and couldn't help but wonder if throwing him off was her intention or if it was an accident. As the announcer declared the winner and Amora reverted back, the crowd began to roar with cheers and praise. Never before had they seen takeover magic, and they were looking forward to seeing her in action again. Though, many of them hoped that her opponents would be strong enough to avoid getting one shotted again.

Amora made her way over to him, and he knew she was expecting him to say something. He started however, with putting his arm around her with a smile, as he used illusion magic to make his mask invisible and thus she could see him.
"I'm proud of you Amora, you fought well. And yes I have some notes, I can tell you now or later that's your choice."

Amora nods her head having expected to hear such an answer that her partner had picked up on some notes that she would need to improve on during the fight's ahead that she will have to face off against in some way or the other. She smiles rather happily at the feeling of a one armed hug and moves a bit closer. Enjoying the warmth and comfort it provides her a feeling of that she can only associate within her mind as that of a pack...no family being close to her. She then looks towards the stage with a small sigh of disappointment as the next combative duo gets called up to the stage which included her mentor. "That was only one fight ladies and gentleman! The fire of a show must continue on always and thus we shall continue! Lets call to the stage Maelren! and Mike Bison!" Amora nods her head at hearing that and then pats him gently on the shoulder with a small smile on her face. You can tell me later after you beat up this guy with what you're able to know and use against him. She says in a confident tone of voice as she makes her way towards her seat and sits down, and then waits patiently ignoring any looks she could be getting from the other combatants be it good, bad, or anywhere in the middle. She just stares forward towards the TV screen that shows the match as a man of a very dark skin color one that she has never seen before steps onto the stage with his fists wrapped up in some white bandages. She would then see her partner walk up towards the stage as Amora smile and waits patiently to see the results of what is to come from this fight. You got this Oras. She says very softly to herself as she waits patiently for the fighting to ensue between her partner and this stranger.

Oras saw her move closer when he gave her a side embrace, and while he was a bit surprised he simply smiled. He missed the sigh she made over the sound of the announcer, declaring that the next fight was to occur. That was rather soon Oras thought to himself. Not too long after Amora finished her fight he had to do his? Odd. Usually there was a decently sized break in between. He felt Amora pat him on the shoulder before turning to look at her again, and she stated that he could tell him later. He chuckled at her words and nodded to her. "I'll be saving my magic for the stronger enemies most likely, so you'll be seeing a lot of martial arts at first. Don't get bored on me ok?" He walked over to the door that lead onto the stage. And took the steps out. People were cheering the combatants on, but many of them gave Oras an odd look. Usually people who arrived to the arena had less clothing. Allowing less restrictions, or to show off their muscles more. While Oras had pulled his cloak up so that it was half it's original length, he didn't take any of his original outfit off, and especially didn't take off his mask. He stood there observing the man who was his opponent. He was basically just a strong man who was wearing boxing shorts. He grinned and chuckled at Oras. "Kind of odd that you want to fight in that weird outfit. Don't complain to me when I break that mask in half." Oras said nothing. He'd love to finish this fight quickly, but why not have some fun?

He took a defensive stance, while his opponent took a more offensive. The announcer started the fight and Bison shot forward. Oras parried blow after blow, using as little physical effort as he could to deal. Each strike the man made towards Oras, he'd push the blow to his side, twisting to narrow the man's target if need be. He only made slight moves, even when moving his feet. The man would try and strike at Oras but no matter how hard he pushed, Oras would stay in the same small circle he was moving in. Not long into the fight however, Bison figured out that Oras was simply trying to wear him out. He tried to swing his foot out at him but Oras ducked down, pressing his left palm against the ground as he swung his own leg out to trip Bison over. When he had he leaped back, standing up straight. The crowd was sure enjoying it.. Oras could technically could have knocked him out cold but not only would that end the fight prematurely, it would also be considered bad sportsmanship to hurt someone who was already down. While the man recovered quickly and shot to his feet at the same time Oras leaped back, he realized that he'd need a different tactic with an agile man like Oras...

Post by Amora Shade 22nd August 2018, 3:44 pm

Amora nods her head towards her partner when he mentions that he will be utilizing mostly his martial arts skills as she waits patiently for the fight to begin on the TV. She watches the match occur as the man on the recording device streams it to every TV as she nods her head while watching her partner and the big man fight. Watching as Oras manages to stay within a small area of his attacks while being able to parry most of the strikes sent to him in some manner or the next. She tilts her head at such a fighting style as she nods her head ever so slightly figuring that such a way of fighting would most likely fail against attacks from multiple locations. The attack pattern seeming similar to dealing with one opponent only which means if she goes hand to hand with Oras she will have to take him down herself while being everywhere at once basically to have a chance against him. To force Oras into a corner with every strike that she plans to use against him.

Amora nods her head as she forms a plan from what she observes as she then observes the other man that is striking seeing that his strikes are meant to be more so about the momentum of the punch to provide the strength through the speed of the attack. She tilts her head as she watches the man trying to aim for the head mainly for some reason and when that fails switching tactics to just try and force Oras into a position to leave him vulnerable. This is weird to watch but i guess i should get use to this if i am going to get involved in bigger fights. She says softly to herself as Amora gets off from her seat and glances around trying to find some unfortunate thing to become her target for attacks. She then smiles a bit remembering once when she split a worm in half and watched it regenerate. I wonder if i can do the same thing? Create like a clone of me. She says softly to herself with a big grin at such a thought. To create the perfect sparring partner which would be herself who could criticize and adapt much faster if she could somehow master such a spell or power for herself if she can somehow find a creature to merge with her powers. The raven black haired girl having a new goal to reach for herself to try and dominate her opponents.

When Bison rushed at Oras again he was more conservative. His blows were less focused on all out strikes and more about adjusting it's angle and direction. He also used his legs and feet more, and if Oras made a counter he would either block with his arms or take a step or jump back. Oras continued to stay in one spot. There was a reason he wasn't moving from his position. He wanted to try making a point to this man, as well as make it a bit entertaining for the crowd. An unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Which would be victorious? Of course, there was another reason for this too. Oras wanted to try showing Amora how effective it could be to just be patient and remain on the defensive. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The man tried to make a powerful blow on what seemed like an opening but Oras dodged it swiftly and easily. What he almost missed was the following blow that came immediately afterwards, aiming towards his face and mask. Oras swung his hand up, altering the blow to swing above Oras' head, not touching him or even his hood. After doing this the man lost his balance, leaving the perfect opening for Oras... However he didn't take it. Instead of knocking him down and out, he just pushed him back a bit. The man stumbled back but steadied himself. He and the crowd knew what had just happened. Oras could have gained the advantage there but wasted it. However something changed. Oras had now shifted to an offensive stance...

The wizard launched forward. Unlike the boxar, Oras' strikes were simplistic yet random. Light yet fast. He wasn't striking with his closed fist. His palm was open nearly every time, and would usually use the edge of his hand. From the base of the hand to his pinkie finger. Most people didn't realize this, but striking like that had much force behind it, and also didn't harm your hand like a fist punch would. Not to mention he had far more control over these methods than he would swinging his fists. By doing this he could go on the offensive and defense at the same time. The boxar was blocking Oras' attacks, or rather trying to, but was unable to do so. Oras would shoot from side to side when the man attempted to block, striking for the sides of his head. If he tried blocking his head he'd shoot down and kick at the man's legs, or more specifically: the knees. Soon the boxar tried to fight fire with fire and go on the offensive. When he did however, Oras simply used one hand to move the punch off to the side, passing Oras harmlessly, while he struck Bison in the stomach with his other hand. He then sent his knee flying up, hitting his chin and throwing his head upward. He swung both of his hands at the man's neck, similarly to how scissors worked, and finished off by kicking him squarely in the face. Knocking him both out of the ring, and unconscious.

Amora watches the fight between her partner and the boxer with a smile on her face at watching how her partner is just toying with the man in this fight. Herself finding it rather easy to see that her partner was in control of the fight from the very moment that it started and every course of action that has occured is just what her partner wanted to happen. Her grin faltering when her partner refuses to take a open opportunity to end the fight early as she grits her teeth and looks rather frustrated by seeing such a thing happen her hands forming into fasts with the nails digging into her skin. 'Why didn't he end the fight right then and there!? You don't allow your prey any chance to fight back in any fight to make sure that they know who is in charge of there lives.' She thinks rather angrily to herself as she watches the fight end as she could expect with her partner victorious, but that doesn't quell her emotions of knowing how her partner could've ended the fight within a moments notice with absolute ease. She would wait patiently for her partner to come towards the back as she taps her right foot against the ground to release some pent up energy that is building up within her from her emotions. Thoughts floating through her mind with two being the most predominant in her mind that are repeating within a loop that won't stop. 'Oras is going to get an earful from me.' and.'Whoever is next is going to face a beast they've never seen the likes of.' She thinks to herself rather angrily and bitterly while waiting to either here her name within the tournament roster or watch her opponents fight each other to learn how the victor fights if this is how that tournament works.

Oras walked into the room after the fight had ended. They were currently lifting the unconscious man up and bringing him off stage, while Oras was the victor. The crowd of course was cheering for the fight they had just watched, but Oras didn't care too much for that really. He walked over to Amora, and saw the bitterness on her face. What was going on in her head he had no idea. What he did know was that she would either yell at him or not talk to him, one of the two... Scratch that, she was going to tell him what was wrong, it wasn't like her to be quiet about... Anything. He smiled at the thought and when he reached Amora he leaned against the wall and let her see his face, as per usual. "Ok, what's on your mind? I'd prefer you get any stress off your mind out on me rather than those poor souls. lord knows they can't handle it." Granted if she used brute force on Oras there was a chance he'd be seriously injured, but that was a risk he was willing to take. Amora was his apprentice and friend, so if something was upsetting her it was his responsibility. Not the men surrounding them who couldn't possibly expect her wrath or it's potency.

Post by Amora Shade 23rd August 2018, 12:12 pm

Amora walks over towards her partner and gets rather close to him practically having her body an inch from his as she says in a rather low tone of voice that sounds more like animalistic growling rather then any other type of tone. Her eyes narrowing ever so slightly while staring directly into your eyes with a unflinching unbreaking stare of amber seeming rather snakelike in appearance. You could've ended that man in a instant within that one moment and don't act like you don't know what i am talking about. You could've put him in his place and shown him much sooner who the alpha of that fight was yet you wasted that moment. You gave your opponent mercy which could've allowed him to change the tide of the fight if he was saving up some kind of fight for all you know he could've just been toying with you. She says her voice being a mixture of a pointed dagger of anger and frustration and the rest being that of like the nature of a snarling beast. When she gets to the point of how the fight could've ended rather easily and quickly punctuating every would she had said with a rather hard poke to the chest with her fingers. She then hears her name as a small smirk and a lightup of excitement flashes through her eyes. I'll show you how to fight correctly. She says moving back her shoulders and starts making her way towards the stage seeming rather confident, arrogant, cocky or all three about what is about to happen.

"And to start off the electrifying third round! Amora Shade! vs HIBIKI!" The announcer says as Amora steps onto the stage and sees her opponent sneering a bit at what seems like a joke stepping onto the stage as she bends her legs forward. Her arms forward and being like open palms her overall stance looking like a beast ready to charge at its prey. The pink man spreading his feet equal distance and his front hand facing forward and his back into a open fist. The raven black haired female Amora just smirks feeling confident about her chances as she waits for the single to begin. "Now then FIGHT!" A loud shout says as a gong is hit as Amora dashes forward in a human like form the only change being her eyes remaining snakelike signaling eel, and those who are only observant enough to see that change would get the idea this isn't going to be a normal average fight. Amora sprints forward sticking low to the ground as her hand moving gently above the arena floor as electricity sparks off of her hand that is shaped like a clawed tearing through the concrete as she lunges forward towards her target. The pink haired man jumping to the ground and laying flat against it to avoid the raven black haired girl that looked like her claw would've straight up decapitated him. Amora seeing her attack miss spins in the air landing on the ground and lunges forward once more as he opponent just barely dodges ever attack, and with every attack to the experienced fighters they would see each attack from Amora becoming faster and more precise with its movements.

She grits her teeth into a snarl as she lunges forward and instead of attack grips his shoulders and gripping tightly as she herself imagines herself piercing the flesh. Landing behind him she open palm strikes his back followed by a rather strong kick the back of his knee with a rather pleased grin on her face at getting such a strike against the man. Quickly letting her momentum continue she twists the man arm and starts to choke him out with it as she says in a very soft voice that only he would hear. Never mess with a alpha of the forest punk. She tightens her grip on him when saying that. You'll only get hurt going against something out of your league. She says with a low growl using the pink haired man as a outlet for her emotion as she lets go of the arm choking him to allow him to get some breathe before kicking him away once more. Her foot striking against his back with as much force as she can activating minotaur's strength for only the briefest of moments along her leg to increase the power of her attack against the man. The ravenette's fighting style becoming more and more brutal and seemingly aiming to incapacitate a opponent by breaking them bit by bit. With the beginning of animal styled lunges and fast movements seeming to try and force her opponent to allow a opening somewhere. A smirk and confident look on Amora's face not noticing the dark aura slowly coming off of the pink haired man as he slowly gets back up with a red tint to his eyes.

Even Oras was surprised at the sudden change in Amora. Not only was she acting more animalistic, and not only was she legitimately angry at him. She was angry that he didn't finish the fight immediately when he had the chance. The surprise of her reaction would show on his face, especially when she mentioned mercy. He showed the man mercy? Before she could give him a chance to make any sort of reply, she told him that she was going to show him how to fight correctly. And before he could stop her she moved out onto the stage. Oras grit his teeth and muttered a curse to himself. "Hey don't worry," one of the other fighters said. "Hikibi is the weakest fighter any of us have ever seen. It's a miracle he gets up to the finals at all. She has no proble-" "It's not Amora that I'm concerned about.." Oras said. "It's the idiot's life I'm concerned about..." Soon enough the fight began and Oras watched as his fears were being made realized. Only after two misses and she snapped. Becoming enraged. He watched with growing nervousness as she pulled the man's shoulder out of it's socket in order to choke him. He felt horror and looked at the audience, who was growing in fear and nervousness. Even the announcer was astonished at the sheer brutality... There would certainly be more rules in the next event. And soon enough, she had pushed the man too far. Suddenly a dark aura grew around him, his eyes glowing red. Oras' hands tightened as he watched. He may have to use his magic if someone was about to be killed..

Post by Amora Shade 23rd August 2018, 1:36 pm

Amora listens to very loud and audible pops two of them happening as the pink clothed man has his arm restored back to normal followed by the leg Amora had struck at. The man looking right towards the ravenette as she gives a unsympathetic stare as she gets low to the ground once more. Don't know when to stay down mutt? She asks with a bit of glee in her voice as she rushes forward towards her opponent as fast as her body would take her and goes from a punch to his face. Only to feel a foot connect to her head with deadly precision knocking her head into the ground where she was just standing followed up with a football styled kick to the gut causing her to roll along the ground. The ravenette stops rolling after a bit still on the stage and holding her gut in slight pain her vision being blurry and unfocused. She then slowly gets up as the pain slowly disappears as from her reptilian regeneration ability. She grins with a look of glee on her face at the fight suddenly being more interesting. So you can actually fight?! You've been holding back huh? She says with a grin and settles into a stance as her opponent does the same the man having a serious look as if promising death before rushing towards the ravenette girl with the same speed as she had him. Not one to miss a chance she matches towards him and meets him in the middle throwing a right punch that is blocked as she quickly jumps over him and goes for a open palmed strike to his back. The man known as Hibiki turning around and grabbing her wrist going to twist it as Amora quickly knees him in the gut causing him to let go as she takes a few half steps back before jumping forward with a flip going forward as she swings her foot down once more activating simian strength this time. The man known as Hibiki catching her foot with a grunt of exertion. Thinking quickly Amora continues her momentum forward and goes to punch the man's back as she gets throw townards the audience.

The ravenette activates her wings with a grin and porpels herself towards her opponent and throws to fits at her opponent who blocks her attacks with his arms before aiming at her head. She parries the blow to the side while moving around him with a grin across her face the manner of which she parried the strike being a very poor imitation of what Oras had done to Mike Bison as she punches Hibiki as hard as she can in the gut with the simian strength sending him across the stage as the Ravenette pants softly with a grin. Ready to fire off a swarm of feathers toward the pink clothed man till the ref calls the match in her favor since the man is unconscious with what he calls a injury to the head from it having hit the stage grounds during his tumble from her attack.

Oras was beginning to sweat at the insane beating his apprentice was giving the man. Even the announcer was scared to be here. The audience was frozen in their seats, the entire place fallen silent. There were of course one or two individuals cheering her on but they quickly stopped when the noticed no one else was joining in. Eventually the the fight was becoming far too dangerous. Oras threw a magic crystal at the announcer. It struck his head and the man turned to look at Oras. He gestured for him to pick it up. When the announcer did, Oras said via telepathy: "END THE FIGHT NOW" The man flinched but didn't hesitate and called the match off. "STOP! THE WINNER IS AMORA!" There were a few claps and cheers but other than that it was silence or muttering. Most of the people were still in shock at the brutality of it all. Oras immediately used his magic to close the surface of the wounds. He couldn't heal the man, but he could stop the bleeding. He sighed and turned to look at the fighters. Most of them didn't seem to care, but there were a few who shook there heads at the manner in which she had fought. When the announcer stepped off the stage, sweat covering his face, Oras pulled him aside before he could make any other announcement. "Call for an intermission." "W-what?! But I can't, that happens after your ne-" Suddenly room got dark. Oras' visor glowed red and he appeared more taller and menacing. "I'm not asking. That's an order. Do. It. Now." The man nodded shakily and rushed off to tell the people. Oras stood there waiting for Amora, everything appearing normal again. This was bad...
