    Job Description:

The world just did not look quite the same since the tall, purple haired woman had joined with her partner. Everything just seemed to have a sparkle to it that it had not before and every sensation that she felt seemed to be at double strength. It was no great surprise to her but still, she had perhaps underestimated the effect that it would have on her. Sarisha now lived not only for herself but for the Goddess of Water that now shared her mind, body and soul. Closer than friends, closer than lovers, they were simply one being now and content with the relationship that they shared with each other. It had been worth the years that she had spent tracking Valara down and now they could spent the rest of their lives trekking across the world, loyal only to themselves, together.

Sadly, today was not to be a day of pleasure seeking and adventure but rather a test of her patience as Sarisha found herself in a massive queue, waiting for a passport. It seemed like a waste of time to her but there were some laws that just could not be broken, even by a godly entity such as herself. It would not have been so bad if those around her said anything interesting but no, they simply rambled on about the dull and mundane lives that they led. A normal life sounded so boring to her now, considering that she had the memories of her soulmate's life now meshed with hers. A history of lust, passion, violence and battles of such a scale that only Deities could fathom them. It was a life that Sarisha had promised the Goddess that they would live again and she planned on keeping her word. By the time their journey had come to an end, they would tell a tale that would be remembered for eons.

She was brought out of her thought train as a large male suddenly forced his way past her and started cutting his way through the queue, angrily shouting about how long he had been forced to wait. Sarisha briefly pondered about simply hitting him but then decided to just follow instead, using him as battering ram and getting her right to the front of the queue, slotting in behind him. None of the other passport seekers said anything, seeming to be afraid of the man and just filed in behind them. It was pathetic to be honest but the mage just smiled to herself and waited.

Soon enough, the rowdy figure was gone and Sarisha exchanged pleasantries with the woman behind the counter, before answering the mundane set of questions that everyone had to be asked. When it was all said and done, she was finally handed her passport.

"How do you manage to do this every day?" she asked, an amused expression crossing her features.

"I have been asking myself the same thing for three years and I still don't know the answer," the woman replied, sharing a grin with the mage, "Have fun."

"That's the plan," Sarisha quipped, turning away from the counter and walking away.

A simple start to, with any luck, one hell of a journey.
