    Balthazar

    ...

More boring tasks ahead. What a great day, isn’t it? Nevertheless, Balthazar wasn’t one to reject free ‘gifts’, and it’d be a bit lame to be behind on everyone else even if that was the case. It couldn’t be said that chatting with people long distance was an activity he partook in too often, but it was certainly useful to have that option within your grasp. Can’t ever be sure when you’ll need it urgently. That said, Balthazar made his way through the areas of Neutral Grounds, finding the fact how no magic worked there at all a point of interest. What did one have to do to accomplish such potent erasure was one of the big questions to ask, although as entertaining as it was to ponder the potential of such restrictive powers, research was not on his ‘to do’ list at the given moment. He’d have to note that down as something to dig into in the near future. For now, the primary task was to locate this factory building so he could grab one of those freebies to test out.

Which, he frankly had no idea where was, but figured that as long as he kept walking around, he’d stumble upon it sooner or later. There’s no way it was purposefully hidden or anything like that. There was no use getting ruffled up over that, thus why he kept a carefree pace, humming to himself under his breath as he scouted his way through the grounds. Technically, he could make it could as a small sightseeing venture too, now that it has come to this. Not a planned one, that’s for sure, but it was never pointless to get oneself acquainted with an area. Even though it was unlikely he’d ever need that knowledge here, as it was very much a peace ground anyway, but having an excuse to be doing something is…important too, right? So to speak, at least.

In any case, he had managed to find what looked like the target building within a fairly short amount of time, probably thanks to pure luck. Squinting ahead through the rays of the currently shining sun, he’d make his way closer to see if he was indeed where he needed to be. The answer would turn out to be a solid yes, and Balthazar would push the front doors open, striding inside casually as he took in the sight of the inside of the factory. It wouldn’t be long before he was approached by some of the workers there, exchanging some more or less pleasant conversation with them, before the point of interest was brought up, and they took him over to where they kept their precious free handouts. A brief checking out of the goods later, as well as a few more words exchanged, he’d be on his merry way out, playing around with his newly acquired toy and trying to figure out its functions. Not like he had anything better to do while he took the long walk back into normal civilization anyway…
