Izayuki Hyoujin ♦ Black Rose ♦ H Rank

There had been a briefing, one that was sweet and simple. Many members of the guild were informed of the corruption of the Magic Council, as well as the formation of the Black Rose mafia as a secret organization to help thwart it. What was to come was business only meant for the mafia, after all, and the guildmaster did not want to involve anyone who was not completely on board with their goal.

Basilisk Fang’s thoughts on the Magic Council were not difficult to pinpoint. They had always been known for organized crime and a lust for anarchy, for a while had gone silent. Famine had even quieted, dropping off of the list of wanted criminals-- the Coming Storms. However, the dark guild had reared their heads once again, as new traveled through the kingdom of Fiore that the independent Fairy Tail guild had been recently ‘antagonized’ by the once notorious Basilisk Fang. Their sighting in Magnolia had struck fear into the hearts of the civilians, yet for whatever reason, not a single member of either guild had been harmed. Had the entire dark guild ventured out to the independent guild for a peaceful chat?

Izayuki could only guess that that was the case, and hearing about the sassing that had occured, against their allies, Black Rose had a new door opened to them. If Basilisk Fang were truly back in business, this could be the perfect opportunity to set their efforts on something productive, that both the legal guild and the dark guild wanted.

Mount Hakobe was where the dark guild made their home, and soaring into the skies as a massive white dragon, Izayuki carried the entire Black Rose mafia with her on her back. Eventually, the massive eastern dragon would land on the mountain, and allow her guildmates to get their land legs back. She herself shapeshifted back into the form of a rosy-haired human with silver-furred tanuki ears and a fluffy tail. The guildhall was nearby, and as a group the legal guild would trudge their way silently through the snow to reach it.

Upon approaching the fortress of the guild of Basilisks, Izayuki in the front, they would come to a halt at the door. With bare knuckles numb to the cold, the guildmaster would knock thrice on the big iron door. Slowly, the door would begin to open, and the guild of Roses would quite smugly pour into the first floor of the Basilisk Fang guildhall. It was time to sass their potential allies, and make them a deal they could not refuse.

    "Good afternoon, Basilisk Fang~"

Like most days, the tavern fireplace had been its usual orange tint with a hissing flame in its hearth, and gathered around it sat mages whose untroubled manners hadn't reflected their lifestyles in the slightest. The humming of the mages indulging in questionable conversations and the tapping of glasses against soapstone countertops bounced off the fortress walls, a sound inviting even the most aloof of members to join them. The fortress was a desolate one to the ignorant eye, but beyond the heavy, iron doors was a lively lounge of ne'er-do-wells and their humbling activities, often involving drinks and weapons.

The fireplace hissed as those gathered around it seemed to hiss back with twice the spunk, and among them sat the quiet, dark-haired man, Ahote, who held a warm glass of water to his lips comfortably. Black fabrics covered him, as they were the only types of clothing he wore besides his suits. He wore an all-black tank top with noticeably baggy pants with a matching color. If anyone looked suspicious to the sane eye, it would be him.

These gatherings became like routine to him, and his role in it all was to fall victim to his company's shenanigans or to simply observe them descend into what he considered to be "dangerous banter." It was not the fire he feared of burning the fortress to ash, but those who flocked to it. It was also an occasional convenience to be so close to the fortress doors, who strangers so often waltzed in from, and it seemed to be the case once again.

Three knocks tapped on the iron doors, no more, no fewer, and for a sound so soft it seemed to ring through the jovial tavern like the chiming of a church bell. Ahote's topaz eyes had floated over the iron door just ahead of them, placing his glass on the nearest surface and rising from his comfortable seat to pace over to the doors. The tapping of knuckles against the iron had almost been blissful to the raven-haired man, as no wanderers had approached the place with such etiquette. But as the knob would twist the doors pushed outwards, his expecting expression twisting into something of a surprise.

A swarm of people flocked to the guild doors! The pale Ahote seemed to go whiter as his eyes loomed over the sea of full heads and the smaller woman who stood just before him. There was a brief moment where the man couldn't help but gawk at the sight, like some young boy who saw some spectacular yet frightening sight. Sluggishly, Ahote leaned against the door with a simper stretching across his face, his brows scrunched together, expecting. "Afternoon. . ." he began, "you all aren't here looking for trouble," Ahote's stretched simper had fallen into a frown as he continued to look down at the rather fair woman, his soft voice still dripping with honey, "are you?"

Questionable conversations, indeed. If there was drinking going on in the tavern, Iris Esperanza was there in the middle of it. He and his teammates loved booze way more than each other, and were probably the source of much of the noise. Who knew adults could argue about something so trivial as whether the cat they saw last week was black or brown? Or that it could be such a large discussion as to whether alcohol was more rightly consumed from a glass or a bottle. It was personal preference! If not for their fascinating eyes, he'd have eight abandoned them or butchered them for sure by now. He was doing them a service, and really being quite nice about it. With all the passing out they did, did they know how many times he could have relieved them of their oculars by now? He really did want them...very badly....but he'd been the goodest bad boi in Basilisk Fang!

A hush fell over the casual guild party when the knocks came, followed by that hateful door spewing frosty breath inside and disturbing their toasty fire. Iris had had his back to it, but now he whirled on one heel with a bit of a stagger and a firmly 'wtf' look on his face. That expression was only moments long, soon melting into a devilish smile. New recruits? The Poster Boy's specialty! Out of habit alone he swaggered over to the...oh my...the group of people. Had this hibiscus haired beauty brought her cult? Her harem? The real connotations were lost on him at first upon his approach, though Ahote's quick steps beat him to the verbal punch. Those long legs, though...

Listening in to her words and his Guild Master's, the dawning of understanding lit his features not with fear, but with keen, hyper interest! A guild storming them like they had FairyTail, those bunch of office-ruined wet blankets? For just a second he thought it was FairyTail aiming for soggy revenge, but not a single set of eyes had he seen before. Oh ho ho....this was a different guild taking notes from the dreaded Basilisk Fang? "Copycats~" Iris purred in greeting, still clutching his bottle of alcohol, but not yet devolving into a moist mess just yet. If anything, his eyes were sly and appraising, sliding over each individual he could get a bead on. "Just a little trouble won't hurt, right, Ahote? Could be fun. Someone bring our guests some drinks!"

The fact that a dark guild that had previously been completely under the radar just showed up again and had a little chat with Fairy Tail, was already odd. The more odd part about this whole situation was that the former Fairy Tail member found herself caring a lot more than she thought she would. Since she's been in the guild, it's a wonder that they simply agreed to work with the dark guild after working so hard to attain their independent status. Were they simply trying to lose it again and go right back to where they had started? No, they wouldn't do that. Basilisk Fang had probably done something to influence their decision. So, among the Mafia, Lilium was one of the first people in to volunteer to come in the end. Although that wasn't really necessary because the guild master ended up bringing up most of the Mafia she had recruited anyways. She needed as much firepower as possible, in magic potentially, but more so in a speaking sense. Either way, if there was something that Lilium was perfectly capable of doing, it was being sassy.

Riding on the back of a dragon that was also her tanuki and/or human guild master settled in with a bit of shock. At this point, it'd be easier to count which species Izayuki was not. The holy mage wore her normal casual sundress with a hat despite the temperatures being below freezing. Her magic was keeping her warm because she didn't feel like changing and the fact that she held hope that the guild hall of the dark guild was going to be warm especially in a settlement such as this one. But, you never know, after all, serpents are cold blooded.

The holy mage was close behind Izayuki as she knocked on the solid iron door as it opened. A little gaudy but she had never been to an actual dark guild so she wasn't really sure what she was expecting in all honesty. More like, an evil lair in somewhere like swamp. She also wasn't sure what kind of members to expect from this guild. However, the warm air began to flow as the door opened and the holy mage stepped into the hall with her guild master and the rest of the Mafia close behind them.

The holy mage's eyes fell upon the fireplace within the tavern and the ebony haired male that was holding a colourless drink. Straightening her posture as she stood beside the tanuki, the holy mage would wave her hand with a smug smirk as she greeted the guild as a whole. The black haired male returned the greeting and aired his suspicions. The holy mage's smile seemed to grow more smug as she brushed some hair that was getting in the way behind her back. "Oh, did we give off that kind of vibe? No trouble to come. Trust me." The holy mage would glance around and lock eyes with a purple haired male that seemed to be eager to have company. She heard his comment about Black Rose being copycats as she chuckled. "Oh? We can't be copycats if we are the ones who invented the method." The holy mage glanced at him again as they spoke the black haired man, who was named Ahote, stating it could be fun. The holy mage raised her eyebrow as she summoned a golden chalice that was filled with wine. Twirling the cup, she'd look to the black haired man as she said, "Of course. Nothing but fun."

The guild was told by Izayuki... Or more accurately the mafia within the guild was told that they were going to Basilisk fang. Oras before they had prepared to depart, spoke with Izayuki as he was rather... Confused with a few things. He had asked her why they were going to see a dark guild in the first place. It took a long conversation to get her to explain to him why but he managed to get the info: Essentially she wanted to make them a deal with the mafia, and told him how the new leader didn't seem too dark. Oras really didn't care as long as innocent people weren't harmed of course, but he was curious as to the why. In the process of learning this however he was also given an order by her: Izayuki told Oras she wanted him to... Sass the guild and it's members. The issue was that Oras didn't know how to do that, at all. He had never practiced it and thus had no experience in the matter. Izayuki tried to persuade him that he was fine on the issue however, stating that he was already good at it. When he pressed further she had explained to him that it was his correcting others on their faults challenging errors in their reasoning, and simply showing where and how they were wrong was a form of sassing others. He had never seen it like such, but again he had no experience so she could be right. She had also ordered him to not wear his mask, as interacting without his mask would make sassing not only easier but more effective... If he could use the right facial expressions that is. This would be Oras' first time doing anything of the sort so it would be interesting indeed.

The trip there was also an interesting one. Izayuki had chosen to shapeshift into the form of a massive dragon, and had the other members of the guild hop on. She would be their ride to the dark guild Basilisk fang. Oras wasn't sure if this was the best idea since dragons drew attention due to them being massive, powerful, and very easily recognizable. If anyone found out who this dragon really was, it could put the guild at risk of being discovered. Still Izayuki seemed to know what she was doing, and despite things being. Well rough in regards to communication with her from time to time, he had come to trust her. She did have more experience than he after all. Oras had chosen to remain quiet on the trip there and when they had finally arrived he was able to observe the home of the dark guild Basilisk fang. Their guild hall was apparently a fortress, and Oras couldn't help but wonder if they had built the structure themselves. Or if they had redecorated, reinforced or remodeled it out of a more ancient fortress. Oras watched as the guild began to file out, two members exiting the building at first. Izayuki was of course the first to speak up, and the other guild master seemed to want to get the obvious bit out of the way: Were they here for a fight or for a peaceful chat. Before anyone else could answer another member spoke up, calling them copy cats. Oras was confused as to why he'd say something like that. What on earth would they be copying? Was it the technique of their guild master flying through the sky whilst carrying the entire guild? If so, it was a rather specific.. One of his guild mates spoke up, stating that they invented the method, but Oras was still trying to figure out what method they were even talking about.

Oras didn't have anything to add to the conversation at the current moment and thus would stay silent as he stood there by Izayuki. By far she was the only one he felt comfortable being around for the moment. He hadn't met many of the other guild members and thus wasn't inclined to be by there side just yet. His hood was, much to his discomfort, down, which caused him to remain, a little tense. This didn't show however and instead all anyone would see from him was a very blank face with sharp eyes that didn't miss anything. If anyone chose to ask Oras why he wasn't speaking he would simply tell the truth... With a little more potency as Izayuki suggested.
"I'm simply waiting for something intelligent to be said before I contribute to the conversation."

As one of the newer members of Black Rose, Artemis had been pleasantly surprised to be brought along to such an event. A meeting, with a dark guild. Now that was interesting. For starters, they were riding on a friggin' dragon. A Dragon! Sure it was their guild master in that form, but still, it felt pretty awesome to Art. As they landed in the mountains of Mount Hakobe, arriving before the guild named as Basilisk Fang, he hoped off. Running a hand through her thick red hair. Art let out a little whistle as they arrived at the fortress, it actually reminded him a little of home, only admittedly somewhat bigger. The sight of it didn't bother him that much, because he wasn't about to run into any members of the Dagger clan here.

Art strutted in alongside his guild members, his expression one of pure cocky defiance. This was right up his street, and he was about to fall right into his element. Walking forward in his black jacket and loose jeans, maroon trainers and a baggy black tank top. He listened as who he presummed was the leader of Basilisk greeted Izayuki, enquiring that they weren't here for the purpose of trouble. He looked over at the blonde mage known as Lilium. Another stunning babe, Black Rose seemed to be full of those and he was loving every second of it. He had been careful not to put any major moves on his fellow guild members yet, but boy was he finding it hard. Even his guild master was smoking, although she could probably kill him in an instance. It 'd be worth it though. He thought casually, he grinned at the 'trouble' remark. "I can't make any promises," He said offering the blonde mage a wink, before looking back at the dark guild members.

At the suggestion of alcohol, Artemis clapped his hands together loudly, "Now that's more like it, I'll have a beer!" He said, someone quickly brought him over the bevarage. He took a sipped, enjoying the cool drink. He lipped the foamy head off his lips, "Not bad, but the stuff we have at homes better." He offered with a challenging smirk.

Arguments with her teammates: there was nothing more lively and potentially destructive that occurred in the tavern of the guild hall. More than once it had resulted in a brawl, and Aeluri hated to admit that she had summoned a spirit once or twice out of anger. Luckily the conversation was slightly more relaxed today as her teammates and the rest of the guild occupied the tavern. The female mage was taking a sip of her whiskey and silently judging Ahote for drinking warm water when a series of knocks came from the large door to the fortress.

The guild Black Rose had apparently arrived, and they weren’t here for a fight. That was what Aleuri had gleaned from the conversation so far. Ahote and Iris had gone to the door and invited the other guild’s members in. It was slightly unnerving having an entire strange guild inside their guild hall, but outwardly, the mage seemed relaxed. She ventured over to stand beside Iris and Ahote, glass still in hand, hoping to engage in the conversation as well. Overhearing a red-haired mage’s comment, she glanced in his direction. ”If you want intelligent conversation I’d suggest you just listen to Basilisk Fang speak,” Aeluri said with a smirk, though the statement wasn’t very true, considering the loud arguments her teammates had earlier about various things.

A man with maroon hair had sauntered up with the rest of Black Rose. His remarks made the mage narrow her red and gold eyes. Ugh, yet another mage that flirted with any female in sight. The confidence he exuded made Aeluri want to summon Gemini just to eat him alive. However, the other guild seemed to be here peacefully, so unfortunately she couldn’t wipe the smug look off of his face by force. Crimson and honey eyes scanned the unfamiliar guild members, then looked the male mage up and down dramatically before giving the tanuki guildmaster a look that said ‘really?’ “I’d expect that you would bring your best mages to a meeting, how... disappointing.”

His comment about the quality of the beer he was handed made Aeluri’s blood boil. Insulting their guild could maybe fly, but insulting their booze? That was unacceptable. Aeluri spent much of her time and money making sure that the guild was well-stocked with the finest liquors, beers, and wine in Fiore. With a huff, she walked away from the group before she did something regrettable. Heading back to the bar with her empty glass in hand, she muttered “I’m going to need a much stronger drink if I’m supposed to survive this.”

Wearing a blue t-shirt and black skirt with white tennis shoes, Victoria shivered as she got off of the dragon/Guild Master Izayuki. It was cold and this was the first time she had ever seen Izayuki. She was the source of the pink hair littering the inn. Izayuki could disintegrate Victoria with just one finger, so the latter kept quiet about the hair. Once she focused on what was in front of her, she found herself facing a castle that looked kind of old but well-maintained.

It was time to go into the home of Basilisk Fang and sass. That was not too hard for her to do. She could bring the sass with ease. For one thing, they picked a cold place for a headquarters. For another thing, word on the street was they built their reputation by terrorizing people who could not defend themselves.

Now Basilisk Fang was not terrorizing homeless people or lost travelers. They were dealing with Black Rose. They were dealing with people who could defend themselves from mages. When she stepped into the guild hall, she saw old, outdated decor. Decor that belonged in a museum.

When the Basilisk Fang leader offered drinks, Victoria was skeptical. One taste confirmed it. It was cheap swill that people used to clean lawnmower engines. She could make better bathtub gin while drunk. Basilisk Fang had a lot of problems... bad location, bad decor, bad alcohol.

"Trouble? Depends on your definition of trouble. We're here for business." Victoria said to the leader. Were they interrupting Basilisk Fang's busy schedule of stealing lunch money from schoolchildren, tripping the elderly, putting kittens up trees for Legal Guilds to rescue, and egging houses? If so, then that might be trouble.

"I'm with Artemis. You might wanna rotate your wine stock more." Victoria critiqued the drink. It was probably spiked with something. It was a good thing that she had guildmates nearby.

Akily was sitting by the warm and cozy fireplace with a glass of juice in her hand. Even though she was sitting on the floor, she felt like it was a pretty good day. Sitting on the floor allowed her to feel both cool from the cold weather that seeped through the rugs, and warm from the fire place she sat in front of. The juice at the guild hall seemed okay, but it wasn't anything too spectacular. In all honesty, she didn't really care toi be in the guild hall all day, but she didn't feel like leaving. All she wanted was to have a good and pleasant day with no one to worry about. She looked over to see that a few other guild members were wasting their lives around this place as well. They didn't have any goals, no worries, just nothing to care about. Akily couldn't believe that idiots like these were allowed to just stroll around the guild hall and drink alcohol all day. She really had better expectations for a guild known for their terrorism across all of Fiore. Sadly, there was no luck. Hopefully, if she was able to take a lead position, she could put them in their place and actually make them useful. She wondered if the guild master was actually able to run a guild received by much praise from the darker side of the world. However, it was no matter for her yet. For right now, she would just sit there until some sort of idiotic fight between the drunk adults would break out like usual. However, Akily felt a twitch coming from the katana hung from her back, as she realized what this meant. There were some unknown magic sources, adult magic sources. Akily raised her eyebrow in question as she heard two knocks on the door.

Two guild mates that she had never met before, and her guild master walked up to it. Apparently the sources she sensed were those of the guild Black Rose. The guild played their cards right by pretending they were a nice warm and happy guild, but Akily had a feeling that all of that was fake. The fact that they were at the guild hall proved her suspicions. After all, why else would they be here if not to fight. They seemed to be strong mages, and even strong allies. So, she stood near the door, to where the legal could see her. As she crossed her arms, she awaited the conversation to be had.

Oras watched as one man seemed to get excited at the idea of alcohol, while also stating how he wouldn't make any promises in regards to trouble. This was the guild they were allying themselves with? He trusted Izayuki but these individuals looked more like drunks than anything. Of course, he coudln't judge by appearance, as they could be more powerful and cunning than they led others to believe. It was in fact a tactic to appear weak and pathetic to lure others in, when you were in reality, far more powerful and intelligent... Still he couldn't detect that in most of these individuals. Then another woman spoke up, telling him that if he wanted to hear intelligence he just had to listen to her guild and smirked. Oras just looked at her with that look. The 'you're kidding' look. "When you're words hold depth and truth to them I'll consider it." He watched she analyzed them all, looking up and down. He could see her pride and arrogance as she looked at them. Upon hearing her statement he mused to himself the irony. He himself was reminded of how important it was to expect the worst, no matter how your opponent's looked. Yet she was making that mistake and speaking it aloud no less. She could of course be just sassing them, just as the Black Rose was supposed to sass them. Which if that was the case he had no reason to stay silent and just ignore that comment. "Making assumptions off of first impressions reveals nothing other than your own arrogance. Haven't you learned the basics? Never underestimate others," he told her in a rather calm and even teacher like tone. As if he was speaking to a child trying to make herself look tough Because while he was expecting her to be powerful, her attitude certainly matched. Once again remaining calm. He was in fact just speaking facts. Jokes you could rub off. Insults you could ignore or counter. Facts? If you used them right the other person could say nothing without seeming foolish. Originally Oras was going to make a comment on her wanting to drink to survive the conversation, but his guild mates were eager to join in the drinking so he said nothing. He simply stood there watching the others with a calm and unreadable expression.

Irina had spent months out an abroad searching for a source of power and had only returned to the guild recently after she had discovered what she sought. But her moment of rest was cut short by the promise of a party which she expected to be some sort of fun activity only it turned out to be a trip to a dark guild. It was annoying her to no end but alas the convincing invitation Izayuki gave to her before they set off changed her mind to give them a chance, it also sounded like fun to harass them into submission as well so it all turned into a party in the end.

Standing at the door of the Basilisk Fang guild hall it was cold and snowy, many of her guild mates were wearing coats and what not but she simply chose to wear the same old same old. Steam exuded from her as the snow that made contact with her melted and evaporated almost instantly, perks of having that much body heat. She had Massa Phantasma at her side, it might have been worrying coming to such a meeting armed but for her she wasn't comfortable leaving the blade elsewhere, not because she was attached to it but because of what she feared it might do if someone else got their hands on it. Having the blade though gave her access to some interesting tools and so she made sure she got a decent view through the door as it opened and it was off to the races.

As soon as the door had opened a few of Black Rose began to do their thing which was to sass the guild though it wasn't very good yet but she had her own plans and the first thing she did was go from outside the door to next to one of the Basilisk Fang members in a single instant as though she had always been there. Irina was now standing in front of the bar with a grin. "I'm hungry, is this the right place to request food?" She asked as she managed to feign a stomach growl to emphasize her point. She had appeared next to someone with two different colored eyes about the same height as she was, it was an odd coincidence given she had similar traits outside of maybe hair color and probably magic and the fact that Irina's hair had recently grown down to her ankles.

Ahote's brows snapped together like a stretched rubber band in seeing the swarm of mages act so carelessly. Yet, he couldn't help but itch as a sense of deja vu crept over him. Or, so it seemed. Memories of the Basilisks' visiting Magnolia came to mind, his crestfallen expression lightening to a beaming grin at the thought. How could he be so clueless? Word spreads easily among loose lips, especially when such a notorious guild marches into town so shamelessly! These confrontations weren't uncommon for the nonchalant Basilisks and while this event marked the first in a long while, it certainly wouldn't be the last.

Ahote's topaz orbs floated from head to head until it landed on the woman who spoke of "business". It had obviously made more sense than scaling a mountain of this caliber to simply drink and spit out words dripping with venom. Though even if that were the case, the raven-haired man was flattered that he and his comrades were given so much attention. Sluggishly, a sigh escaped his lips, "I didn't think we would have so many admirers, I'm flattered." Ahote clapped his hands together enthusiastically, his cheeks blush with a peachy pink tint and a sly smile stretched across his face from ear to ear. He leaned down over the two petite women who stood closest to the door, both with gleaming eyes and an attitude to go with it. "You're right, Iris," he began quietly, broodingly, his eyelids dropping so that his topaz hues would darken in the shadow of his own unkempt raven locks, "I suppose a little bit of trouble wouldn't hurt anyone, would it?" Ahote paused, his gaze sharpening at the brightly haired woman who stood in the very front, aside from the blonde. He could only assume that she was their leader.

Abruptly, his fleshed and metal hands clapped together again, the twinkle returning to his eyes as he gazed over the sea of full heads. Quickly, he pointed into the depths of their fortress, "Please join us, everyone. . ."

    Juniper Avery

Why don't you give me a sweet kiss on the cheek?

Passed out at the front of the bar, a single strand of drool dripped from the wasted woman's mouth. Formerly, she had been "partying" with her teammates, but after one too many drinks, she decided it would be a good time for a nap. Anywhere was a good place to nap after having a nice, glass of alcohol... Or two... Or 7. Though, it seemed that this peaceful moment wouldn't last long. Just as she had begun to dream about a handsome man coming to whisk her away from this dump she called her home, she was awoken by familiar voices and the icy cold claws that seeped from the open doorway, dragging her away from the man. Whimpering reluctantly the purple haired woman looked up, magenta colored hues gazing around lazily. There were familiar people, sure, but there also seemed to be strangers that wanted to enter the guild hall. But why would anyone want to do that?

Shrugging it off, Juniper stood shakily from her seat, almost falling over in the process. She had a better alcohol tolerance when in this form, but even then, she wasn't immune to it's tricky effects. "Ehhhh..." The young woman grumbled, heading over to the crowd that seemed to be forming by the front entrance. They had already woken her up and crushed her dreams, so she might as well greet them. "Well hello there, you beautiful... Beautiful people, you." She continued to slur, wobbling slightly as she approached. "I wish I had schomething schpecial to offer you. But Irish here looooooooves my cookies. He eats them all the timeeeee." Turning towards her tall, lanky teammate, Juniper scowled, suddenly realizing that she was angry about this fact. Raising a hand, she bapped him on the head, then waggled her finger judgementally at him. "Y-Y-Youuuu need to learn how to schare, Irish! You are a baaaaaddd boy!" She grumbled, placing her hands on her hips. When was that darn Irish ever going to learn?!

Turning back to the newcomers, she offered them an innocent, and slightly awkward, smile. There had to be some way she could make this mistake up to them! "Buuuut! If you like, I coooould whip up a welcome batch just for you guysh! You would just love them! Everyone does! Come on!" She said, waving to them enthusiastically, and marching into the guild hall as if she were the leader of some fantastic parade. Ahote had invited them in, but she was going to be the one to bring the party!

"Only when I wish for death, sweetheart," the lavender haired bad boy cooed to his hammered team mate, managing to sound sickly sweet in his brutal honesty. He patted her on her silly little head. Her baking was atrocious. Anything she made could be weaponized to rival their most devastating designs, and perhaps he should suggest that later. One taste of something so benign that could force the eater to suicide. It'd make the happiest man on earth wish for the sweet embrace of death instead of the sugar in her goods, or "bads" as he called them. Actually, maybe one of the countless reasons her bads were trashbag weights was that she mixed up salt and sugar? Given the overbearing saltiness, these Black Roses should quite enjoy the familiar flavor.

Iris's lips turned up at the corners, eyes alight with mischief. He liked these little thorns. They were sassy and full of themselves, like little pugs that think their mastiffs or something. Some thought so highly of themselves that the air should be thin from elevation, as if being atop a mountain wasn't high enough. "Oh, you think our booze is sub par? Wait until you try Aelu's stash!" he volunteered, racing passed Grandma Juniper to behind the counter, rummaging for secret looking chests and boxes that Aeluri probably wanted him nowhere near on a normal basis since he preferred straight from the bottle, but he didn't care. Let's see if they could party. "Top shelf stuff that is ironically not on the top shelf, but on the floor in hiding! We got Blessed Honey bourbon from...Oh, Seven. Exotic. And how about some Sudoku Samurai sake from Midi. Aelu, love, where do you even get these? Frozen King Approved Vodka...Oooo, some mysteriously red cider. I may have some of that. The rest of these are different whiskies," the buzzed poster boy buzzed, plucking up a special looking green apple whisky to hide for himself later. "So you guys have snark, but how long can you keep your wits?"

A bartender/ bar snack maker of some sort materialized from somewhere dank and dusty, starting a round of hospitality for their guests with fried pheasant poppers with a delightfully unidentifiable sauce.

There was the dilemma that only he was faced with. The overbearing stretch of clothes that draped over his form, something which had now lessened in this dark and cold environment. With every day that passed, faltering into the unknown when the shade persisted in the everlasting storm, power faded as if sand slipping from the grasp. He was useless in such a state. For his friend and for himself. As such it was urgent that he should leave, at least for long enough that the outside may offer him fuel to the fire. How could he ever provide in the scarce work when the influence remained as feeble as a child.

An audible breath parted from the lips, pushing the aged door open as it shrilled against the floors. Voices came from downstairs, some that were familiar and others that could not reach the urgency of comfort. It wasn't like it was unlikely for a commotion to be happening in the tavern. With new faces gradually taking their place in this forgotten fortress, some had made use of drowning themselves in alcohol. Crazed into the effects, it was enough for him to stay away. Offering words and rousing new bonds was the least of his concern, in fact it was quite difficult in the grouping of those that were just as crude as he was.

"Ahote?" he'd call, voice straining into a more softer one. From the corner he could not see, then from the stairs he froze with a bit of hesitation. The company was much more impending than he had originally thought of it to be. Prior determination was fading into the presence of the crowd, tingling with differing essence in each individual. A step was taken back, slipping into the sleeve of his large pants, for a moment he staggered. Balance had quickly been lost in this awkward state as the excessively youthful Theo jerked forwards and into the hold of gravity. Tumbling down the stairs into something which had further proved to be of embarrassment, rotating outward till he'd landed in a sitting position.

THROW SOME PERM ON YOUR ATTITUDE ♦ Black Rose x Basilisk Fang LaQxJWX

There was a briefing. Unplanned on his behalf. Pulled into the depths of the Silver Moon Inn, he was told about the deep, inner-workings of the guild, it’s noble(ish) intentions and was later assigned to a section of the guild's inner circle. Then quickly informed about the the confrontation plan in simple words, he set out upon a dragon's back to complete their agenda... This was a whole lot. Quick witted and with a sharp tongue, Seth is well equipped for the means of verbal defense, but knows all-too-well how situations like this can escalate. He wore all of his rings, for example, and didn't plan to take them off. These ARE criminals, after all.

Not paying attention to his other guild-mates or the whole of Basilisk Fang (aloofness is the key to intimating someone in his mind), yet, he glides off of his guild-master's back and onto the snow-covered plateau. Not something he would ever thought he would have done but he was so desensitized that it barely phases him. He was not dressed for the weather: the only somewhat cold-weather article of clothing he had on was a fuzzy, cream faux-fur coat, with a white, skin-tight athletic shirt underneath. The platform shoes he had on left weird footprints in the snow, while also accentuating his already-tall height. All for an first impression. His hair flaps wildly in the cold wind, making him slightly regret leaving it down. He walks through the gates, glad to be out of the blizzard and looks around while fixing his air. The freezing air leaves his cheeks and nose red. A lot already happening, he makes eye contact with someone who made a spectacular fall, and somehow managing not to laugh, steps over to Irina (whom he only knew through stories) to warm himself. He wasn't hungry or anything (he actually never is, since he deepened his magical studies, which is kind of worrying) but is thirsty. He avoids the bartender's tray and requests a water, which sounds REALLY good to him right now, for whatever reason. He could live off of only water for the rest of his life. What a great thing. Speaking of which, how much do they have to pay him to work up here? He looks over to his guild-mates and stays silent, dreaming of the situations that could arise. He does love drama.

Post by Mayumi Katsuya 29th July 2018, 1:33 pm

This was all very exciting, really. Mayumi had never been part of a mafia before. In fact, she'd never known Black Rose had a mafia. But when she'd heard about it, well, it was just too good an opportunity to pass up. She was an ambitious sort of person, the one who wanted be in charge of things. So a secret organization that ultimately aimed to control things behind the scenes? Sign her up!

And her first task as part of the mafia would be an interesting one. Go sass a dark guild? That she could do. Especially if she had the rest of her devious family backing her up. She was rather confident in her own combat abilities, and besides, she was pretty sure her guildmaster could wipe the floor with the dark guild if she wanted to. You didn't mess with dragons. Mayumi was pretty sure that was a universal life rule.

Mayumi had opted to go with her normal attire. Oh sure, she knew it would be cold on the mountain. And she had plenty of winter clothing. But she figured she should opt for the 'unimpressed' approach, so she was just wearing her usual black and white kimono. After all, what was a little cold? And thankfully, the inside was a lot warmer. Still, she wasn't going to show any weakness, so she strolled right into the guild hall like she owned the place.

"Hmm, nice place," she commented to no one in particular. "You could stage a whole medieval play in here. Surprised you don't have manacles hanging in the corner. Would make for lovely decor, I'm sure. Of course, you'd have to have some prisoners to make it really convincing, and you don't seem to be the best at catching any. Shame, that..."

Was she overdoing the sass here? Nah, she didn't think so. The objective was all about sassing their opponents, after all, and Izayuki had brought the whole guild along as backup. Surely overdoing it didn't really exists. She sauntered over to the bar, casually swiping one of the expensive bottles of booze off the counter and drinking straight from the bottle. What these clowns didn't know was that she'd had a rebellious streak that had led her to raid her parents' liquor stashes extensively as a teenager. And they kept some strong stuff too. She could drink most people under the table and be quite fine, thank you very much. Just let them think the alcohol would throw her off her game. They would get a nasty surprise.

She leaned back against the bar, smirking slightly at purple-haired man who'd produced the stash in the first place. "I don't know, my wit seems to be doing quite fine, thank you very much. How about yours? I don't believe I've seen any trace of it yet."

She swigged from the bottle again, then casually added, "You know, I do question the choice of location, though. I mean, snakes are cold-blooded, so they need outside heat to regulate their body temperature. No true snakes could survive up here." Then after a long pause, almost as if in an afterthought, she added, "No offense, of course."

Her tone, though, wasn't the least bit apologetic. After all, how could ridiculing their choice of guild mascot be inoffensive? And they were about to find out just how many thorns she had under her pretty facade.

She was actually at the sweetly simple briefing for once, having been sitting on something entirely inappropriate like a bookshelf or something during the duration of it. Acting as if she had been raised to be civil? Would be against everything she led the others to believe about herself, so clearly it was best to act as if she had been raised in the wild or something. Sadly a good portion of the information mentioned by izayuki during the briefing was nothing she had not been aware of already to some extent. However, she found it very nice to watch the recruitment of the newer mafia member's, though it seemed the leaves division had not gotten any more members which it could have used, only have two crafters in the guild could be rough sometimes. Jiyu couldn't imagine how Irina managed when she decided to take off and not let anyone know where she was for weeks at a time.

Kazehime had heard rumors of the dark guild coming out of hiding, but she hadn't known anything for sure until the briefing. Anyone could suspect that since no fight had broken out and people knew it did happen that whatever the darkies had come out of the woodwork for this time was more political in nature. Whatever was going on? Allowed for magic to be withheld for peaceful conversation. Of course, where most people saw the opportunity for peaceful interaction, the guild she belonged to saw something that could become interesting.

One member of the guild did not need time to get her land legs back as her feet never touched the ground anyways. The second Iza landed, the ace simply let herself float down so she was levitating at a more acceptable height for the proceedings, at least originally. When they actually entered the guild hall? Jiyu quickly vanished from sight in the commotion, somehow unnoticed in the beginning of the conversations for some reason when she was normally rather adamant in social settings.

"I am entirely sure it's the cookies everyone loves." her voice finally emerged suave and slick drifting down from above. When the people below looked up? The biniki clad ace could be seen laying against the arm of an unlit chandelier, grin on her face, arms hanging down to either side with her tail and pigtails.  "Its not called snark, one would think with all the fashion magazine tips absolutely dripping off your pretty boy self that you would have heard of the word sass, of course out this far maybe your cut off from society like a hermit." the wind user chimed the comment out, rolling over so she laid upon her stomach and thus could look down at them all easier.

The sass began. Izayuki smiled in delight as her guild made no hesitation to put on their best attitude in front of the dark guild. Fortunately, Basilisk Fang seemed quite hospitable for a guild of criminal alignment, and did not seem so keen on an attack. The lovely-haired man and the guildmaster called for drinks. While the Bakedanuki was naturally skeptical of any food or drink offered to them, for fear of poison or some kind of drug, she would allow her members to think for themselves. Surely nobody would take it without question, and who was she to tell them what to do or not do?

“A little trouble never hurt anyone. Thank you for the warm welcome, Ahote Laspor,” Izayuki agreed and continued with a smirk, making her way closer to the dark-haired boy with warm water in his cup. “While everyone enjoys their merriment, I have a proposition or two for you~”

She held herself straight and tall, her canine eyes erect and her tail fluffed out comfortably, full of confidence as she stopped right in front of Ahote. Her words and expression were friendly, but her crimson eyes still held a look of solemnity. Her proposals were very important to her, and she anticipated help from the dark guild. She knew the guild master’s name from his lovely wanted posters dotting Fiore, listing him as a ‘Coming Storm’. He was not yet a Sinner in the Magic Council’s eyes, but close enough to be labeled as an infamous criminal, wanted dead or alive. How lucky she was to have found him, tucked away so snugly in his guildhall, isolated from the rest of the world. “Tell me, Ahote, what do you think of the Magic Council? And do you remember what happened during the War on Navrick?” she inquired, hands casually folded behind her back as she spoke.

The tavern became livelier than usual as the roses slipped inside of it, some more critical of its aged appearance than others, though Ahote was the first to ignore their comments. The words of the women directly in front of him holding the most importance at that moment, Ahote watching them closely. But among these two girls, it quickly became obvious just who one of them was. Izayuki Hyoujin, a Wizard Saint, and guildmaster of a guild whose name he could seem never remember. It did explain the swarm of people arriving at their door so abruptly, however, it was hard to tell whether his recallment of this fazed him with such a fixed look on his complexion and his smile unwavering.

Ahote's topaz orbs burned with curiosity as Izayuki spoke of propositions and perspectives, her words reminding him of himself during their trip to Magnolia Town. It wasn't the most delightful of reminders but it even he couldn't go against a breath of fresh air that was such an admirable and respectable figure in the eyes of the Council. At her mention of the War on Navrick and his views on the Council, Ahote's expression became inscrutably quizzical, "What is this? A survey? Of course, I remember. . ." he gushed, his smile ascending to an amused grin, "The Council is like that; greedy and selfish, not an ounce of compassion and respect for that nation," he sighed, his grin disappearing into another frown, his eyes narrowing and darting back over to Izayuki, "but you didn't come all the way here to ask me silly questions, did you, Izayuki Hyoujin?" he said softly, sharply, expectantly. His wet eyes glowed in hopes that it wasn't, urging her to get to the point of all these silly questions.

Yet, it would seem more and more things kept interrupting them as they continued. A thud fell onto the stone floors, Ahote peering deeper into the tavern before laying his eyes on what seemed to be a pile of garments. But as it twisted and twirled down the stairs like linen sheets hanging out to dry on a windy day, a miniature Theo swirled into sight. Ahote became a ghostly white, his cup slipping through his fingers and onto the ground, smashing into transparent pieces. Quietly, Ahote mumbled in a trembling, raspy voice, "Theo? Am I seeing things right. . .?" he started, his gaze darting between the fallen Theo and the patient Izayuki. Clearly, he began to become flustered.

    KIRU NIVANI
    x/y words

In all of her years, Kiru could not once for the life of her think of a more inadvisable, reckless, stupid plan. Yes she was fully aware of Black Rose's ultimate goal on overthrowing the magic council... But the guildmaster had neglected to inform the guild ace on the specifics until very recently... And for good reason. Kiru was not having any of it. In all the years she had served the guild, today was one of the very few days the split coloured woman actually showed any sort of emotion... And it wasn't that subtle either. Her eyes were narrow the entire time, her mouth drooped in a grimace and her arms crossed. How could this happen? How could everyone seem so calm and collected about this? They were a guild built on the notion of making the kingdom of Fiore a better place not only for wizards, but for everyone as a whole. And to do that, Izayuki's plan was to get help from a guild notorious for terrorism and murder? This was by far the most insane plan that Kiru had seen the girl concoct. It was insulting even. It went against everything Kiru stood for. She had fought, bled, and nearly died to stop people like this... And now Izayuki wanted to become 'friends' with them. It made her sick.

The only reason Kiru agreed to come was to provide extra security. She had no interest in conversing with anyone from the dark guild, or anyone from her own for that matter. She was far too angry to talk to anyone. And that much was visibly clear on the woman's expression. Kiru didn't even follow the rest of her guild inside the criminal's nest. Instead she opted to stay outside. The woman figured if the guild got into trouble she would be close enough to charge in and provide assistance. But the longer she stayed outside, the longer she had the urge to just leave. How could something like this even happen? It was as if everyone in her guild just dropped reason and blindly followed Izayuki into the lion's den. As angry as Kiru was towards Iza, she was even more so at the rest of her guild. None of them appeared to be the slightest concerned about what was happening. It's not like this was a secret to anyone of them either. This was a dark guild. Basilisk Fang designed and made weapons for others to purchase and misuse. Their leader was a wanted criminal. Combined, their guild was responsible for the deaths of hundreds, maybe thousands of innocents over the years... And all of it for personal benefit. What kind of low did Black Rose need to sink too in order to request help from this group of people? Kiru only wanted to help overthrow the magic council so that their replacement would be better suited to deal with these dark guilds. They were the biggest reason Fiore was in constant danger... And here was Kiru's guild. Entertaining them. Drinking with them... And negotiating a deal with them. Was Kiru the only sane person left on this god forsaken mountain? By this point she couldn't tell anymore. When the woman had first heard about the plan, she was highly against it. She tried to talk Iza out of it, but nothing seemed to work. Kiru was confident Black Rose was fully capable of seeing their plan through without employing the help of these murderers. Despite this, Izayuki still opted to come out here and entertain their interests. Whatever deal she made with them would proceed to benefit the Dark guild as well. And that would only cause more people to die, and quite frankly this deal would come back to bite the guild in the ass. None of them could be trusted. They all belonged in cells...

Eventually the cold began to get to Kiru. Being a water mage, she had a special distaste for the frozen weather. Finally she overcame her urge to stay outside, and forced her way through the doors. Exactly what she had expected. They were all talking with one another. Black Rose and Basilisk Fang. Allies. Well, maybe not quite, but they certainly didn't appear as enemies. Kiru said nothing as she walked in. She came inside only for the warmth. That was it. She had no interest in talking with any one of these criminals, let alone anyone from her guild. Izayuki most of all. Despite being friends for most of their lives, Kiru couldn't force herself to give anything positive to the tanuki. The pink haired girl knew Kiru's stance on this matter, yet they were here anyways. It felt as though they had all willingly betrayed the guild itself... Kiru would only take a seat in a corner table and stare ahead at both guilds. Her eyes narrow, and her mouth frowning... Particularly at Izayuki.

There was no reward for loyalty it seemed.

Art noticed the little brunette with different coloured eyes glaring at him, it seemed Basilisk Fang had a few babes of their own to show off. He found himself greatly amused by the look she was offering him, he knew it well. Art had witnessed that look on the faces of hundreds of women, that defiant disgust of a seeing a man that was so naturally flirty and enjoyed the presence of the fairer sex. It offended him in no way, if anything it just spurred him on. What did he care if she didn't like his demeanour, she meant nothing to him. He smiled mischievously, showing her his top row of teeth before running his tongue along them seductively. Knowing this would bring no pleasure to a woman like her.

Hearing Victoria agreeing with him, he offered her a cheers before taking another swig of his beers. Art watched as there was a little to and fro between the guild members, smirking when the ever so sexy Jiyu got involved. Looking fine as ever, he pulled his gaze away from her trying to read the room. So they were here to discuss the possibility of alliance, now that was interesting. The snakes they were currently standing amongst were a dark guild after all. He was tempted to go and sit with the guild master and listen in. But it wasn't his place, he was new and that's the exact sort of thing his Grandfather would had wanted him to do. Instead he opted for an option that appeared like a much more fun and 'Artemis' way of doing things. It was clear they weren't suppose to start any fights, although he may have been tempted. A pub brawl did wonders for entertainment, but alas he was behaving himself, sort of.

It was due to this reason that Art made his way across the bar, strutting across the room with his usual confident demure. Not the least bit face by the fact he was stepping into the part of the room where less of his guildmates had converged. He didn't exactly need their protection, plus jumping right into the snake-pit seemed the most exciting option. He moved over to the guy that had mentioned a 'stash', pulling up a seat next to him. Briefly eying the clearly drunken girl next to him who offered cookies. He chuckled lightly, a girl after his own heart, at least they seemed like they might actually know how to have fun. He looked up at the purple haired guy, "I'll take a round of that special stash, It's been a while since I've drunken someone under the table." He told him with a challenging smirk, his voice dripping with arrogance.

Akily stood near the area the two guildmasters were talking to each other. She was behind a pillar, knowing that it was big enough to cover her body. She leaned her back onto it as she began to eavesdrop on the conversation Akily hated the fact that they were even talking to a legal guild. All of them were corrupt with adults, making the real world see them as "good". Really though, Akily knew that all of them had some sort of dark side. Lamia Scale seemed like a good and fun guild, where people could have fun by hunting down cool monsters, and even do some research. However, Akily knew that they were destroying the beautiful creatures made from the Universe Spirit. Killing monsters like that just for fun, was cruel and honestly just awful. Crystal Swan? They seemed to be a guild full of artsy and explorative members, but all they are are just people who want to wastes their life without fully contributing to the world. All they want to do is take resources for their precious art or exploratory needs. Sabertooth seemed like it was a reasonable legal guild, so Akily didn't feel much hate for them currently. Black Rose? They seemed so fake that it makes Akily want to barf. There is obviously a deep dark secret within there. Them being in Akily's guild hall only proved it. So, she just listened to the apparent proposal that Izayuki was about to bring up.

Something about the proposal seemed to be weird. It started off with a question towards Ahote that was about...Navrick. It was one of the turning points that brought Akily to Basilisk Fang. A peaceful settlement was turned to devastation by the Magic council. That was the moment she knew that she would find each and every single one of those magic council members, and murder them by the hands of her. So, when Iza brought it up, Akily grabbed the hilt of her katana as it was strapped to her back. She wasn't sure what matters this apparent "legal guild duilg master" was, but Akily would not take part in something like that. Although she wasn't going to draw her sword yet, she made sure that her right hand was on the hilt of it just in case of something bad happening. Although it looked a bit odd, Akily made sure to make them know that they should tread a bit more carefully if they said the wrong thing. She then began walking up closer to the two of them and began to glare at Izayuki. If that raccoon woman thing was going to talk about something as serious as Navrick, Akily was going to be there. She was not going to miss this, especially not when her plans were finally coming into action. Something like that was not going to happen again under the watch of Akily.

Izayuki Hyoujin ♦ Black Rose ♦ H Rank

“Of course,” Izayuki chuckled at the raven-haired man’s sharp question. Before she could respond with an answer, Ahote suddenly turned his attention to a mess that had rolled on down the stairs. It was a child wearing clothes that were far too large for his figure, for whatever reason. Was Basilisk Fang so low on funds that they could not afford children’s clothing for their kid members?

The guild master of Black Rose only reached a clawed hand up to place her fingers under Ahote’s chin, before gently turning his head back to her. She wanted his attention for this proposal. He could tend to his guildmates later. For now, the guild of Roses demanded the full attention of the guild of Basilisks. “The Council is just as you say, greedy and selfish. It would be a shame if something happened to it though, wouldn’t it?” she asked with a sly grin, clawed fingertips still gingerly placed under the other guild master’s chin, unless he chose to move. “Your guild wishes for the Magic Council to go. My guild wishes for the system to be replaced with one we deem far more ‘fitting’. Our goals are alike. It would be a waste of resources and manpower to not join forces to see our visions come true~”

The Bakedanuki was forced to pause for a moment when she glanced out the corners of her crimson eyes to see the tiny nine year old child with a hand on her katana. Within the blink of an eye, a heartbeat of a second, Izayuki appeared behind the lavender-haired child. With a swift motion, her hand was instantly on top of the child’s, which held the katana hilt. She had used a teleport to appear behind the kid so quickly. “It isn’t polite to interrupt by eavesdropping, least of all with your hand on a weapon,” the guild master would whisper with a grin to the child while she stood behind her, a clawed hand still on the child’s more delicate hand. “I would suggest you let go of the blade, and run along to join your guildmates. We're not here for a fight.”

It was then that Izayuki realized Kiru had come inside to join them. Kiru had been so adamant about them not coming here, and was in no hurry to communicate with the dark guild. Had she changed her mind? The daggers glared at the Black Rose guild master told her otherwise. “Actually…” the Bakedanuki began, murmuring to Akily in a friendly manner. “Why don’t you go say hello to Kiru, an Ace of Black Rose? I’m sure you two could get to know each other~”
With the last suggestion hanging in the air, Izayuki would attempt to gently push the child in the black-and-white haired mage’s direction before turning back to Ahote.

With a group of about-to-be drunks flock to the bar and pair of angsty children act so questionably around their guests, Ahote was quick to feel his head ache with some form of stress. His topaz orbs floated around their tavern like fish in a small pond, bug-eyed with uncertainty and glowing with mild irritation. Spending a day, or even worse, a late night with the Basilisks was perhaps akin to a dangerous, riskier version of an adult daycare, except he was less a caretaker and more of a man who supervised enough to make certain not one of them did anything that was too criminal even for them. It was a challenge in of itself.

Yet, the clustered focus of Ahote was quickly readjusted to Izayuki, whose impeccably sharp nails tickled the foot of his chin like alluring, weightless feathers. He paused, his drooping gaze stuck fixedly within hers, yet he found himself wondering if there was ever an instance where had been touched with such delicacy and neediness before. While he couldn't recall such a moment where this was true, the allured look burning in his topaz pools made it obvious even to the untrained eye that he savored it. Regardless, the gloomy man was put on edge as he never was one to be touched so suddenly by strangers or anyone for that matter.

The apprehensive Akily would soon be greeted by the touch of Izayuki once she had noticed her small hands gripping against the hilt of a blade Ahote never caught witness of. Even if he had only watched from aside her, he could feel a surge of discomfort rush over him like rainwater would during a light spring shower.

He smiled an apologetic smile at the idle Akily as Izayuki would return her attention back to him, although he couldn't say he was comfortable knowing that. However, he was delighted to find that he wouldn't have to be the one to encourage the smaller one that their agitation is best put to use on someone other than him, or the menacing Izayuki. Ahote somehow concluded that he would eventually end up suffering because of their mistakes regardless, and made every effort, no matter how pathetic or irrelevant, to diverge it elsewhere.

His topaz pools floated delightfully back over to the master of Roses, intrigued by what she might do next, "That sounds just thrilling, miss Hyoujin. It really does." he began with a faint smile quirking his lips, "What better a twist than the innocent business that is Black Rose to be such scoundrels? How mischievous. But, what reason is there to believe any of what you're saying? And most importantly," he said softly, quizzical as he paced back over to her, his burning orbs captivated and twinkling with agitation, leaning down over her shoulder so that his warm breaths glazed over her ear, "what's in it for us?" There was no hesitation in confronting the matter. Although it was a logical opportunity to grasp, the most infamous of dark guilds, Basilisk Fang, did not think of themselves so lowly that'd they accept such a deal so blindly. Well, or at least Ahote wouldn't.
