Description: Yoza Kengen is a magic style built specifically for a Vessel of the World Serpent. It draws on the powers of the Yoza (Midian for "World Snake") to empower its wielder with the ability to turn every aspect of their being into a weapon of sorts. The human is made up of three parts: body, mind, and soul, and the Yoza Kengen uses each of these parts in a distinct way. These ways are named after the three most popular non-human powers in Earthland: divine, infernal and draconic. For the body, the Shinken (Divine Fist) uses the World Snake’s power to turn the body into a living weapon, hardening limbs to incredible proportions, increasing physical prowess, and so on, in order to overwhelm an enemy with graceful, explosive force (it has a visual resemblance to real life Baji Quan). For the mind, the Majutsu (Infernal Arts) uses the World Snake’s power to project the influence of the mind beyond its host, seeking to influence, manipulate, deceive or dominate an opponent, though it has the ability to positively influence allies as well. For the soul, the Ryudo (Draconic Path) uses the power of the World Snake to bolster the vitality of the host. They can even manifest the power of their soul outside of their bodies as a fiery aura to affect themselves or the surrounding, as well as solidify this soul power for a myriad of purposes, which include, but are not limited to augmenting Shinken and Majutsu techniques. The manifestation of soul power usually, but not always, takes the form of fire of different colors, depending on the technique. There is a secret fourth way, Teiyoushiki (Emperor Form), which combines all three ways and is incredibly dangerous for its destructive power and cost to the user. As such, its techniques are usually used as a last resort.
Suzhen has carefully tailored this powerful magic to suit her peculiar style. She favors quick, graceful but powerful strikes, mixed with a good deal of feints and unexpected little attacks to throw an opponent off balance before quickly following up with a more devastating attack. Her fighting style also focuses on counters, as well as debilitating grapples and throws. Coupled with her inclination to use her mental powers to set traps for opponents, and her high vitality to keep her and her allies alive while punishing her enemies, this magic is most suited to one such as Bai Suzhen.
Trivia: Although Suzhen is Dongxian, the names of the magic and its techniques are noticeably Midian, because she was taught the magic by a Midian monk who had emigrated to Dongxia. It is also common for a user of the Yoza Shinken and Ryudo styles to vociferate their techniques. While this is not necessary, it is believed to help focus, and thus proper execution of the technique. There is much less emphasis on calling out the technique names of the Yoza Majutsu techniques, as noise is not expected to be made during meditation sessions, although Suzhen may perform characteristic hand signs when executing a Majutsu technique.
Lineage: The World Serpent
Unique Abilities:
- Yoza Shinken [World Snake God Fist]: A martial art that gives the user a superior body. The ability gained from this martial art increases Suzhen’s HP regeneration by 5%. She also is blessed by a 50% resistance to magical attacks.
Plot Device: This martial art gives Suzhen impossible control over her body, allowing her to keep fighting despite debilitating injuries, perform physics-defying acrobatics (including standing, and running on liquids or vertical surfaces), punch through very tough substances, and recover exceedingly quickly from being dizzy or unconscious. Interestingly, her body doesn’t appear to show any signs of heightened durability or hardness, either in looks or feel. She is also incredibly vital and healthy, and never smells bad; her scent can be described as mildly fragrant, flowery, and yet natural. She also perspires easily and often, and thus prefers clothes that show a lot of skin. It also gives her unnatural and flawless regenerative capabilities, and Suzhen can regenerate body parts over time without scarring, as long as such injuries do not kill her. - Yoza Majutsu [World Snake Demon Arts]: A meditation study pattern that gives the user a superior mind. The ability gained from this meditation study pattern increases Suzhen’s HP regen by 5%. It also allows her to channel her mind to mentally ignore frailties and external inflictions, reducing all potencies of debuffs by 50%.
Plot Device: This meditation study pattern gives Suzhen an incredibly durable mind. She cannot be charmed or have her mind controlled against her will. She can also sense people’s auras within her Magic Sensory range, whether they are hostile or not, and their emotions. This requires express OOC permission to be used on PCs, PC-owned NPCs, and Event NPCs. - Yoza Ryudo [World Snake Dragon Path]: A breathing technique which gives the user superior vitality. The ability gained from this breathing technique increases Suzhen’s HP regen by 5%. Her stubborn vitality also makes it extremely difficult to keep her held down, meaning that she cannot normally be immobilized, instead suffering a 50% debuff to speed for the duration of the immobility.
Plot Device: This breathing technique gives Suzhen amazing vitality. She is unaffected by natural weather effects (heat is very troublesome for her, but it does not affect her functionality) and can go very long periods without eating, drinking, or sleeping. This does not prevent her from feeling hungry often, though. It also allows her to coat herself with soul energy (which appears as strangely colored flame) and interact with normally intangible things like ghosts. Finally, as she draws her power from the World Serpent, Suzhen does not use conventional magic, and her powers are thus immune to null/anti-magic materials and situations like null/anti-magic restraints, spaces or dimensions. Her spells can still be negated following negation rules.

Description: Suzhen releases a burst of crimson flame-like energy from her palm/s (either as a sphere around her if she holds out both palms to either side of her, or a wave in the direction of a single palm from which she releases the energy), this energy dealing physical damage on the surroundings and sending opponents flying (PCs, PC-owned NPCs and Event NPCs may not be moved unless OOC consent is given). The force of this blast also debuffs speed by 65%. This technique is useful for bursting restraints, or just causing general environmental mayhem. Suzhen can control the size of the Manjushage, but never more than the spell range permits. She can also choose whom she wishes to be affected by this technique.

Description: Suzhen holds out her hands, and up to seven spectral paper talismans, burning with a pale blue flame and inscribed with scriptures, materialize around her, before scattering to latch onto targets. They will follow their targets, unless the target escapes the spell range. If not, they will wind round obstacles to reach a target, and will return to Suzhen’s vicinity if they somehow fail to hit. When hit, targets suffer damage, as well as lose mobility for one post (because glowing blue spectral chains burst out of the talisman and constrict the target), and can only be immobilized by every other post, in which case the spell has to be cast again. This technique was made specifically for attacking intangible enemies, and is very good for fighting against ghosts, though more corporeal enemies will be affected as well.
Plot Device: Suzhen may choose to activate this technique’s binding ability without the target being damaged by it. This is very useful for incapacitating an opponent that she doesn’t want to harm.

Description: Suzhen thrusts her arms outwards, opening her hands as she does so. A ball the size of her fist is created between her hands, and is launched forward in a straight line. As it flies, it blossoms into a bright, scintillating projectile with a trailing tail, as dangerous as it is beautiful. When it strikes a target, it explodes into a huge sphere of energy, though the dimensions of the explosion reduce the further it explodes from Suzhen, because its range is limited by the spell range. Suzhen may choose to detonate the Hotarubi without it having hit anything, or detonate the Hotarubi as soon as it forms, creating the spherical ball of energy with the edge of the energy ball almost touching her open palms.

Description: This spell requires Suzhen to tap her opponent, placing an invisible seal on the opponent, which she can set off to explode at any time she pleases, damaging her opponent, and anyone in their vicinity. While it looks more like a Ryudo technique, it requires physical contact and is thus categorized as a Shinken technique. Suzhen may place the seal with a melee strike, but if she places the seal this way, her normal melee power will not be put into consideration for the strike, and the target will only take half of this spell's damage, receiving the other half when she sets off the seal. Only one seal can be placed on a person, and to place another seal on someone else, she must use the technique again. However, the advantage of this technique is that she can use it to transform enemies into smart bombs. The size of the seal’s explosions is 75 meters, but with every additional person sealed, the range of each explosion is divided by the number of present seals. Suzhen may set off all existing seals at once, or one by one, as long as the spell duration doesn’t finish, or the target doesn’t escape her spell range, at which point the seal is dispelled.

Description: Suzhen takes a characteristic stance, similar in form to the ‘Horse’ stance common in many martial arts. Then she launches herself at her opponent at incredible high speed, looking as though she flickered from position to appear near the opponent and ending the dash with an attack, usually a knee or a straight punch, although she can just as easily knock them airborne with an uppercut or kick. The true purpose of this technique is to open an opponent up for a more devastating follow up. This technique is, for all intents and purposes, a teleport. However, the actual attack is made immediately after the teleport, and as such does not guarantee an undodgeable hit, as those who can match her speed will be able to react to her. PCs, PC-controlled NPCs and Event NPCs may not be sent flying without prior OOC consent.
Plot Device: There is another application of the Shinryuu Bougai, which allows Suzhen to trade places with a person or object to dodge an attack, or position herself in an advantageous location. She can switch places with objects within her spell range, and where she ends up after switching must lie within her spell range. She cannot switch positions with PCs, PC-owned NPCs and items, or Event NPCs, unless OOC permission for that has been granted.

Description: Suzhen begins spinning, either like a top, or a corkscrew, as she rushes at an opponent, turning her own body into a dangerous projectile. If spinning like a top (Hishin Senpuu), she will extend one or both arms or legs, in order to strike targets with the outstretched limbs. If she chooses to spin like a corkscrew (Hishin Giri), she will either go feet first, or hold out her clenched fists before her. She spins with sufficient force to keep herself airborne. A variant of this technique is called the Hakunetsu Hishin Senpuu/Giri (Incandescent Flying God Tornado/Drill), which sees the same move, but with a colored flame-like energy wreathing whatever part of her limb is used to strike. Targets hit by this strange flame are set alight by the flame, which remains on the target and causes them to suffer a 5% burn to HP for the duration of this spell.

Description: This technique is named after an idiom which depicts the illusory nature of reflections. Suzhen creates an area the size of the range of her spell, which. Within this area, she can create very detailed, impressive illusions, which are subject to her imagination and control, and last as long as the spell duration. They are unreal, in any case, and cannot interact with the environment, although the effect of this spell makes those within it persuaded of their reality and their effects. For example, if an illusion touches someone, they will think someone actually touched them. The illusions cannot be used to cause harm, though. A spell meant to reveal or dispel will easily see through the illusions, if it is the same rank or higher. Selected targets receive a 50% debuff to magic resistance.

Description: Suzhen releases an omnidirectional pulse, which, although invisible, can be sensed by anyone with magic sensory very clearly, and as such can be avoided. Anything struck by the pulse will be immobilized by some unknown feeling of abject dread, as Suzhen mentally crushes their wills. They also begin to feel weaker and less motivated to fight, as they receive a 5% burn to both MP and HP for the duration of the spell. Targets can only be immobilized once every other post should they be hit again by the spell, and they cannot be immobilized the next post after immobility wears off.
Plot Device: Suzhen can utilize a much less dangerous version of this technique, which doesn’t have the negative effects. However, it implants ideas into the minds of the targets, and makes them think the ideas are their own. The further away the idea suggested is from the personality of the target, the more likely the target will resist the spell. It cannot be used to make the target hurt themselves. Also, it will not work on stronger minds (PCs, PC-owned NPCs, and Event PCs), unless OOC permission is approved.

Description: A bright flame-like energy coats Suzhen’s hand or foot (depending on what limb she is attacking with), before she delivers a high-powered strike to her opponent, setting them on fire which burns away at their HP, draining it by 5% per post for the duration of the spell. Her strength is buffed by 70% as well, meaning that the blow is much stronger than expected. Suzhen has two additional variants of this technique: Shotenga (Rising Heaven Fang), which is good for attacking airborne opponents, as it involves a jumping, upward-directed attack; and Ukitenga (Floating Heaven Fang), which is technically an air-to-ground attack, as it must be executed with Suzhen in the air.

Description: Suzhen releases a pulse from her head, quite visible as a rippling wave of air. Any enemies struck by the pulse will feel like their minds are being torn apart. The torture of this ordeal leaves them both mentally weakened, debuffing magic damage resistance by 50% for the duration of the spell. Allies or innocents, when struck by the wave will merely feel uncomfortable or mild fear, depending on their state of mind and willpower. Suzhen can also ‘distort’ spells or effects within the range of this spell to render them ineffective, but she must pay an extra MP cost equal to the base cost of the spell she wants to negate, and she can only negate spells of S-rank and below. She can negate only one spell/effect per casting of the Hizumiten.
Plot Device: While under the effects of this spell, Suzhen can, by touching a target, forcefully extract information from their breaking mind. This causes excruciating pain to the target. By touching, she can also manipulate targets’ tactile senses, causing them to feel whatever sensations she intends for them to. Note that these are only for plot purposes, and will not work on PCs, PC-controlled NPCs and Event PCs, unless OOC approval is granted.

Description: Suzhen throws a blow so hard that it creates a tunnel of pressurized air which acts as a high speed projectile. If it does not hit the target, Suzhen will make no further moves. If it does hit the target, however, Suzhen moves at blinding speed behind the opponent to throw another similar ‘pressurizing-air-punch, and then moves again to perform two more punches, the last two perpendicular to the first two. For all intents and purposes, it looks and feels as though the target received a crushing attack from four different points at the same time.

Name: Huo She Xiang [Fire Snake Sacrifice]

Description: As Suzhen casts this spell, a ring of white-hot fire expands outward from her, to contain the spell’s range. The white flames burn everything, even water, and will burn through defenses as well, although its potency is reduced by half if this happens. Anything destroyed by this spell doesn’t even leave ash, but living things destroyed by this spell leave weird scorch marks on the ground signifying where last they stood before being destroyed. Perhaps what is strangest about this spell is that if someone observes the scene from above, after the fire has died out, they will see, marking the dimension of the concluded spell, the characteristic sign of an eerie ring made of a snake eating its own tail. This spell does not distinguish between allies and enemies.

Description: Suzhen transforms her saliva into a potent poison which she spits at a single target, reminiscent of a spitting cobra. This poison is a strong neurotoxin, and causes the target’s muscles to spasm when hit, rendering them paralyzed for a single post, after which they cannot be paralyzed for the next post. To paralyze a target again, the spell must be cast once more on the target after paralysis-immunity post, although it must be noted that the damage over time will not be reset, and the target will not take extra damage.
Plot Device: Suzhen can synthesize a different poison, a psychotoxin, which causes no damage, but renders its targets completely and willingly obedient to Suzhen’s command (PCs, PC-owned NPCs and Event NPCs are immune to this, unless express permission is obtained OOC). This particular poison is not as potent as the neurotoxin, and cannot affect a target unless it comes in contact with their blood stream or mucous lining. Fortunately, there is always the useful option of spitting into someone’s eyes.

Description: On casting this spell, Suzhen can grow snakes from any part of her body which she chooses, numbering from one to ten. Each snake can grow to be about three meters long, is white in color, and can be retracted back into Suzhen’s body, if she so desires. To attack distant opponents, the snakes will launch themselves in a straight line at their targets. They carry a potent cytotoxin in their venom, which is very painful, but has the strange effect of not causing further damage to someone who has been bitten by another snake of the same brood. As a result, they are most useful to be deployed against many foes. The snakes dissipate after the spell duration is over.
Plot Ability: Suzhen can release her snakes to perform scouting missions for her, within the spell's range. After scouting, when they return to her, she will absorb them into herself, and gain the knowledge they acquired from their visual and olfactory senses while scouting. The snakes cannot attack when in scouting mode, so when casting this spell, Suzhen must determine beforehand whether she wants her snakes to attack or scout.

Description: Like a snake undergoing ecdysis, Suzhen can shed her skin, healing herself when she does so. However, this is the secondary purpose of this spell. When Suzhen sheds her skin, the “skin” is an apparently living perfect body double of herself and can even speak, but is incapable of causing damage of any kind, having the stats of a normal weak human female. Also, the “skin” is very frail, and a single attack will cause it to appear to die, with its ‘corpse’ remaining for a while (up to an hour at most), before transforming into a large swath of snake skin. Suzhen may choose to teleport out of her skin, or crawl out of it, the former being more preferable for tactical situations. Note that crawling out of her skin will destroy it, and render it unable to be used as a decoy. Teleporting can only be done within the 100 meter range of this spell, and Suzhen can only shed her skin once per post. Also, she must take care with using this technique, as her subsequent lack of clothes is not expected to be an optimum situation.

Description: Suzhen manipulates her hair or clothes (or anything as pliant as hair or clothes within the range of this spell) to attack targets, with the attacking material either weaving itself into a serpentine form and striking with its "head", constricting the target in python-like fashion, or doing both. This spell can attack up to 10 targets at a time and cannot be used on items belonging to PCs, PC-owned NPCs or Event NPCs without prior OOC approval. Should a target be constricted, they are unable to move, and remain immobilized for a single post, after which the spell weakens and they can break free. Immobilization can only be carried out once every other post, and the spell must be cast again to immobilize a target once more, after being immobilized before.

Description: Suzhen releases a mental pulse from her head, visible as a wave of rippling air. Targets struck by the wave see pictures of unspeakable horror in their mind’s eye, and the effort of their minds to reject this apparently impossibly unreal terror results in a reflex psychic backlash which damages them physically. Also, the incredible nature of the horrors seen causes targets to remain frozen in terror where they stood. This effect lasts for a single post, and the mind is too numb to be immobilized the next post. This spell has to be cast once every other post in order to repeat the immobilization effect on the same target.
Plot Device: Targets killed by this spell have the most grotesque expressions of horror on their faces.

Description: Suzhen releases a pulse from her mind, visible as a wave of rippling air. Targets struck by the ripple will feel a crushing weight in their minds, dealing them damage and forcing them to freeze up (some targets may be forced to their knees, but this effect is not applicable to PCs, PC-controlled NPCs and Event PCs unless there is OOC approval). After one post, they can move again, and the spell must be cast on them once more to immobilize them again. Targets also feel their wills being eroded, debuffing their physical damage resistance by 50%, as they lose the will to fight due to the spell attempting to cause them to believe that their enemies are infinitely superior to them in all ways. This lasts for the duration of the spell.

Description: This technique was designed to deal with multiple opponents in melee range. Suzhen takes a characteristic stance in which she squats on one leg until the thigh of that leg is parallel to the ground and extends her other leg out to the side, while spreading her arms out. In this stance, she gains a 100% buff to speed. From this stance, she gracefully launches a flurry of rapid palm or finger strikes at her opponents, and is capable of attacking up to 9 opponents at once, each of which is assailed by a rain of attacks as Suzhen twirls, twists and spins gracefully, while simultaneously launching her attacks. Targets struck by this technique have their MP drained by 5% per post for the spell duration, and are immobilized. After one post, they can move again, and the spell must be cast on them once more to immobilize them again. While using this technique against a single opponent has the disadvantage of the opponent receiving just about the damage from a single blow after all her flurry of attacks, it is very aesthetic to watch, especially as a struck opponent has much greater difficulty in dodging her other blows, and thus may be used by Suzhen to express superiority over her opponent, as she has been known to deliver hundreds of blows to an opponent in a matter of seconds.

Description: Suzhen takes a stable stance with both knees slightly bent, and she slowly swings her arms round. As she does, balls of blue flame materialize and follow the movement of her arms, before being launched in all directions. They home in on their targets, and targets struck are set alight by the flames which burn till the end of the spell duration, causing a 5% HP burn for the duration of the spell. Note that it is extremely dangerous to approach Suzhen while she is swinging her hands, as the balls of fire can strike foes. Also, she doesn’t need to swing her arms, but it’s proper form.
Plot Device: Targets killed by this spell have their flesh and viscera burned away, leaving bright blue-colored ash, and a skeleton of a slightly duller hue. The blue flames still burn on the bones for about five minutes before going out.

Description: Suzhen takes the characteristic ‘Horse Style’-like stance, and thrusts her open palm forward. She strikes the air so hard that it creates a massive shockwave, eerily resembling the roaring face of a tiger, the visibility of the shockwave caused by the air around the shockwave being ionized rapidly to form plasma, thus creating a glowing outline. The shockwave travels in a straight line, though it rapidly expands, causing mayhem to anything in its widening path. Targets hit by the shockwave receive a 65% debuff to speed and 50% debuff to strength.
Plot Device: In more humid climes, there is a tendency for rain to fall, after this technique has been executed, due to the rapid evaporation of water vapor in the air and the sudden atmospheric turbulence created by this technique.

Description: Suzhen takes the characteristic ‘Horse Style’-like stance, then draws her left arm back with a lot of force. The force of drawing back her arm is so strong enough to displace air, which creates a vacuum that sucks loosely fixed or unanchored targets in front of her into close proximity (PCs, PC-owned NPCs and Event PCs may not be drawn by the vacuum without express OOC permission). Almost simultaneously, in one fluid motion, Suzhen takes a step forward with her right foot, throwing a single punch at any target with her right hand. Even if Suzhen misses her target, the force of the thrown blow is enough to rupture her immediate surrounding in an area the size of the spell, even damaging enemies she did not hit with the punch, making this technique very fearsome indeed. Anyone hit by the blow or surrounding blast suffers a 5% HP burn and a 115% debuff to spell damage for the duration of the spell. Allies or non-hostiles will feel very strong gusts of air, but not be hurt, because the rupturing power of the blow is driven by Suzhen’s will, so it isn’t indiscriminate in its effect. Suzhen can choose to hit a single target with this move, minimizing all damage to the environment and focusing it into her target through her fist, if she so pleases.

Description: Suzhen throws a punch or kick, with the attacking limb generating a large crescent of light which is quite tangible and can damage opponents with cutting or blunt power, depending on Suzhen’s preference. She can choose to launch the crescent away from the limb that generated it, to use as a projectile, and can control the dimensions of the crescent. She can also use this spell to negate a single spell or spell effect, provided she pays the MP cost of the spell/effect she wishes to negate. She can only use this negation ability once per post. If the spell has a visible component, the negation appears as the crescent flash cutting the spell in two, before the negated spell dissipates. Only a single spell of S rank or lower can be negated once per post by this spell.

Description: Suzhen does a hand strike, striking the air with so much force that it forms a moving wall of visibly rippling air which blasts anything in its path away (PCs, PC-owned NPCs and Event NPCs may not be moved by this technique unless OOC permission is expressly granted). Suzhen can control the size of the ‘wall’, in case she needs to use it to attack a single opponent, or many opponents. She can also perform this technique with both hands, if she pleases. Suzhen may choose to cancel an oncoming spell with this technique, although she must pay the base MP cost of the spell she wishes to cancel, and she can only cancel a single spell once per post using this technique. Only S-rank and below spells may be negated in this manner.
Plot Device: Suzhen can use this spell to infuse a mundane item with magical power, and throw it to deal long range damage, though the damage, speed and range of the item are always and only the same as that of this spell. Said item may temporarily exhibit weird physical characteristics, like a ceramic vessel being much more durable, or silverware ricocheting off a wall like a rubber ball. This effect only lasts for the post in which Suzhen has made physical contact with the mundane item.

Description: Suzhen’s mind has expanded in power to cause her to be aware of her environment to an incredible degree. This makes her aware of everything that goes on within the range of this psychic sense, which is that of an AoE spell of her rank, although she has a ‘red’ zone of about a 10 meter radius around her, within which she is keenly aware of what is happening, with or without the use of her physical senses. Beyond this ‘red’ zone, Suzhen may have to concentrate to get a reading on what is happening. This sense is unhindered by physical barriers, including the ground. Suzhen can also use this ability to detect targets hidden by magic, though she may need a negation spell to dispel whatever magic is hiding her targets.
Plot Device: Within her sense range, Suzhen can create a telepathic platform, allowing her to communicate telepathically with anyone within her sense range. She cannot read thoughts, and will only telepathically ‘hear’ what anyone on her platform wants her, and anyone else on the platform, to hear. She can also speak privately with someone, while others on the platform will not hear their conversation, but as it is her platform, any conversation made on the Shingan Bokusen platform is audible to her.

Description: Suzhen can perform transformative changes to herself ranging from simple e.g. changing her hairstyle, or rapidly drying herself and her clothes, to much more complex things like transforming into something or someone else (this is pure transformation, not an illusion, and dispelling magic won’t solve it, though she will definitely not get the memories and tics of whomever she transformed into). Of course, this means Suzhen can perform cosmetic changes like changing complexion, hair and eye color, clothing shape and style, etc. The Ten’nyo has no combat utility. However, this technique, made possible by her ability to control her incredible vital powers, results in a passive MP regeneration rate of 5%.

Description: A fusion of Ryudo: Manjushage and Shinken: Hishin Senpuu/Giri. Suzhen performs a jumping attack, either a leaping uppercut, or a jumping vertical kick, spinning constantly as she does. As soon as she executes the move, the characteristic red energy eruption of the Manjushage technique erupts around her. However, the friction generated by the force of her spin against the Manjushage quickly ionizes the energy around her, converting it into red lightning (for all intents and purposes, it is NOT electric in nature). The flux of red lightning around her packs quite a punch, but to be most pitied is the one who is at the end of Suzhen’s punch or kick. Suzhen can control how high she will jump, with the maximum being twelve meters, and whoever is at the end of her flying kick/punch will go about four or five meters higher (PCs, PC-controlled NPCs and Event PCs may not be moved by this move unless express OOC permission is given). Everyone struck by the red lightning suffers a 65% debuff to speed, and a 5% HP burn for the duration of the spell. The lightning will not affect Suzhen’s allies negatively, though they will feel static electricity in the air.

Description: A fusion of Teiyoushiki Ougi: Kaminariko Taihou and Teiyoushiki Ougi: Hissatsu no Ken. Suzhen takes a characteristic stance which looks like the ‘Horse-Style’ stance, but rather than facing her target, her body is angled almost perpendicular to the target, while her arms are slightly raised, with lower arms bent perpendicularly at the elbows so that they cross each other, and her palms are open. Then, with her left hand, performs the Kaminariko Taihou, palming the air to create the ionized blast. But immediately after palming the air with her left hand, she turns her body to face her target, and executes Hissatsu no Ken with her right hand just behind the ionizing shockwave. The result is that the shockwave explodes immediately, the power released enough to atomize normal matter within seconds. The range of this technique is also frightening, making it nothing short of a weapon of mass destruction. Targets who can withstand the sheer power of this technique will receive a 80% debuff to speed, 80% debuff to strength and 70% debuff to spell damage for the rest of the duration of the spell, as well as a 5% HP burn. When performed, this spell explodes outwards away from Suzhen. She may choose to point the spell directly at the ground, in which case it will be a circular blast with herself at the epicenter. The surroundings are empty wherever this technique is used, leaving nothing but a giant, desolate, smoking crater, unless Suzhen directs the technique away from the ground. Unlike the Kaminariko Taihou that may bring rain, at the end of this technique, even rain will not fall; everything is empty, even the sky. Suzhen is frightened of using this technique, because its destructive power is almost unrivaled, and it cannot distinguish between friend or foe.
