    The Heaven's Forge:

Stepping out of the portal, Luna was confused as why she came.

Earlier in the (earth) day, she was in the infirmary of the guildhall, treating a new guild member who came back from a job with moderate wounds. She was scolding the novice about taking dangerous jobs unprepared while bandaging them, however she stopped in the middle when she heard a voice, like a whisper in the wind, a single word "Kyoka." During her entire day around the castle, she kept hearing that word, driving her nuts, whether she was eating in the cafeteria, or working around the stock rooms. Eventually she was drawn to follow the word as she left the guild hall, telling everyone a different story. To the guild, she said she was going on personal leave, she couldn't say she was on a job to the few people who'd know, she left a note saying she was taking her sister's class on a field trip for a few days for lack of parent volunteers. She told her sister, Zina who was living with her in Timbermane she was going on a job to heal someone of a bad illness. In truth, she made her way to the Wakesei portal on earth.

Luna started to look around, trying to figure out where to go but the fields were no aid, they seemed uncooperative to the nature fairy's presence. Luna walked a small distance from the portal, but she couldn't see anything signifying her purpose as to why she was here. "Alright, I'm here, now show yourself. What am I even doing here?"

Post by Sybil 7th December 2018, 11:18 am

It was nightfall and Sybil was sitting on the steps to the Aurora castle with a coconut leafed joint between her lips. Anxious to discover more about Fiore She had been down to the market in timbermen and picked up a few snacks, teas, and blunts rolled with local herbs that she’d wanted to try; Notably candypop bud. It sounded innocent enough when the nice man in the alley sold it to her. Lighting the end of the stick again she inhaled and coughed out several glittering plumes of smoke… The high hit here and then the illusions began to appear. The most prominent of the drug-induced visions was a singular bright light that came down from the stars over the castle and flickered in front of her like a star the size of a light bug.

“This way.” It whispered and the breeze carried the sweet voice to her ears and blew another plume of candypop smoke behind her where it curled away in waves. The light was floating away. Confused and impaired Sybil followed. The mage stepped down from the castle and took the portal down to Timbermere. She followed the little star as it drifted to the outskirts of the plaza, into the wilderness, she followed the slow drifting star over rock faces and marshes until she was standing in front of a tall oval shaped rock gate. Inside the gate, there was a swirling blue glow, A clearly magical anomaly. She had never been to Fiore before she met Vincent and yet… She knew these were the Wakesei portals.

The area was rather flat, and there were several rows of the massive oval-shaped portals, humming and swirling with different colors… There was a voice, but unlike the voice that had guided her to these portals… this voice was familiar.

She blinked dumbly, squinting and even cleaning off her glasses when she discovered the source of the voice. A girl with long and elegant coral colored hair. “Luna?” the name rolled right off of Sybils tired lips still in a feint trance induced tone. There was an urge to go over to her, but as she stepped forwards toward Luna, her shoe caught a stray stone and sent her tripping sideways. She stumbled and fell, right through the glowing swirling layer of the portal. In a second she was gone. Blasting through a bright tunnel of stars and lights, landing face first into the ground in the land of Kyoka.

From behind, Luna heard the sound of something falling down, she sensed the appearance of a life force that was recognizable. She turned to see her fallen guildmate. Things seemed to get more confusing as she walked over to the fallen girl, she knelled down next to the Sybil and rolled over the girl, glad to see that she was alright. "Sybil? What in Shirain's name are you doing here?" Luna checked the girl for wounds, considering her back wasn't a puddle of blood yet she assumed that any injury was frontal. However she figured better to be safe than sorry, she grabbed Sybil's legs as she assumed those took the worst of the fall.

Luna would then encase Sybil in a soft pink light for a few moments, her signature ability as a Nature Fairy, Nature's mercy. "This should help you adjust, and clear up those scrapes easily. Portals have a nasty side effect of intense motion sickness or disorientation." However Luna was shocked as the soft aura seemed to glow more vibrantly, as if the spell leaped in effectiveness without forcing a strain on the caster. She stopped after a brief pause. "Forgot, Kyoka amplifies healing properties."

Luna stood up, looking around, still no sign of what she should be looking for. "A strange voice beckoned me here. Only, forgot to mention anything other than come to the planet." The jade eyes stopped searching once they rested on a white cloud of energy floating around them. Luna felt nothing besides a magic energy coming from the white fluff. Confused, Luna wondered what it was, guessing either a failed thought projection or a energy based life form. "Hey, was it you, who led us here?" The cloud stopped, Luna knew that the cloud was sentient now. It then started to float away, in a direction towards a mountain in the distance.

Before starting her pursuit, Luna extended her hand to the other girl, offering to help the girl stand up. Luna was not leaving anyone behind, nor did she want to travel on a foreign planet alone. "Hey Sybil, you up for an adventure? I don't think that thing will let us leave, and I can't feel any malicious intent. Besides, being a Nature Fairy on Kyoka is almost like having a goddess by your side, oh not that I'm that arrogant, just a healing specialist with such a great boost is, well, neither of us are dying tonight."

Post by Sybil 10th December 2018, 7:27 pm

Fortunately for Sybil, Luna’s amplified healing managed to sober Sybil up from the effects of the candy pop when Luna healed her scrapes; An otherwise very potent drug that may have taken days to shake out of her system. She sat up slowly raising a hand to rub the side of her head nervously, batting her chestnut lashes as she tried to clear her vision.

Luna inquired as to what had brought Sybil through the Wakusei Portals. “Oh? I smoked a plant someone gave me in Timberemere. Before I knew it I was following a light here---” she rattled off a matter of factually, not knowing better than to be cautious in Fiore when taking things from strangers.

She looked around, they were in a muddy clearing between some tangily and dense trees. On the ground, there were stones and marble blocks of a dilapidated alien structure covered in withered vines and drawings. “The air is thinner. Much more carbon and my legs feel heavier…” she observed out loud. Looking up and tilting her head. She was getting a headache, the atmosphere here was all wrong…

It was then that she saw the fluttering white light Luna pointed out. Ah, the light bug, or as Luna called it, an energy based life form. Sybil pointed at it and shot up to her feet. “Yes, There it is again!” She staggered forwards just as the light zipped between several mossy stones and over a creek towards a mountain.

She could see bits of the horizon through aisles of trees including rolling hills and mountains the light floated towards.

The sooner Sybil could get out of the tree cover she thought the better off they would be navigation wise… Only once she got a look at the sky would she begin to realize that she and Luna were not on Earth anymore. And so, an adventure it would be.
“I certainly hope none of us are dying tonight. W-Who said anything about d-dying?” She stammered, hopping over a creek; the water seemed to steam in the alien conditions of this planet. “Shall we follow the star this way then, my goddess?
    "
    Sybil inquired.

Luna paid careful attention as the girl adjusted to the world. It was not pleasant to hear that the girl had already taken some form of drug earlier, however for a second she thought that Sybil had no clue as to her location. Taking the situation; into account, she concentrated her magic into her hand as it liquidized into a pink droplet, which she dropped it between the cracks of stone tiles. The small cabbage plant quickly grew into a small pink cabbage the size of an apple.  "You said you were drugged, so your senses might be a bit off."

As the two girls walked towards the mountain, following the path of the seemingly ethereal guide, Luna held the cabmage to Sybil. Considering the pros and cons, she hoped that Sybil would be alright, but she feared the risks. "Eat this only if you feel a massive decrease in your energy. It's a special plant that Nature Fairies can grow, Cabmage, Kyoka might boost it's potency, so I'm just gonna let you know the possible side effects as they too might be more likely, they may include: dizziness, nausea, forgetting the color beige, vomiting, red eyes, mood swings, random outbreaks of lust, ironic loss of senses, and cravings of burritos."

The path to the mountain was through a forest with thick trees. There was light coming from the gaps between the branches, but there was still a darkness creating an ominous vibe. Luna could sense the critters, but there was nothing of interest telepathically. The thought of what was at the end of the path seemed to intrigue her, as it could very well be anything. The light the duo were following seemed to disappear into the trees.

However things started to catch up with Luna, as she recalled a few things she had, forgotten today. She almost started to panic but kept herself calm"Yeah, I just realized I left both my adopted daughter with the sitters and my younger sister is, I think a friend's sleepover? Anything you forgot about back home?"

However Luna then felt a sharp stare, several before she grabbed the rod strapped to her thigh and pressed the red lacrima as a fire whip extended. She looked around nervously, she didn't like starting with a violent front but she could sense a strong lust for blood. She stopped as she looked around. "I feel you out there, show yourself! We don't want to harm you, but I know you're wanting me dead and my friend's thigh." She heard the telepathic response of two wolves hiding in the bushes. "God damn it Jeff, go for the whole girl, not just her thighs." The other wolf was not pleased as he responded back. "Oh shut up Jerry, she doesn't look appealing from the waist up. You called dibs on the sexy one."

Luna cracked her fire whip trying to get their attention as she did not enjoy being treated as such even if it was by literal beasts. She couldn't see the beasts as they were hiding in shrubbary, and telepathy did not convey direction either. "I can understand both of you. Can you please come out, we just want to talk, you're the one with blood lust here." She tried to sense the canine life force but they started to run away from the girls.

Luna sighed as she started to walk in the direction of the signs of life force. "Well, good news is they aren't trying to kill us. Bad news, we don't got any other lead to follow other then two perverted hungry wolves."

Sybil knelt over, hands on her knees curiously, to look as Luna squeezed the coral colored drop into the soil and watched in awe as a plant quickly sprung from the ground and popped off a small pink vegetable. It was kind of cute for a plant. Luna swiftly picked the pink cabbage and put it in Sybils palms, being sure to introduce a large variety of side effects that would come with eating the pink bud. While it did look rather appetizing to Sybils empty stomach right now-- she liked the color beige…. She stuffed the apple sized veggie into the front pocket of her cardigan forming a lump in her pocket that occasionally bumped her hip as she walked behind Luna.

If they wanted to get home following that light may be their best chance. Twigs crackled underfoot and Sybil brushed past low hanging branches and the leaves still wet with dew that tickled her skin. They weren’t out of the woods yet. Abruptly Luna armed herself with her whip. Reflexively, Sybil showed cowardice and shielded herself; her arms crossed over her head and she shut her eyes tightly. There was brief silence, the only sound was brought by the wind rustling the leaves overhead… Until Luna spoke out-- Seemingly talking aloud to herself. Sybil opened her eyes only to look to the pinkette with confusion, furrowing a brow.

“Eh...W-Who are you talking too? ---What about my thigh?!”
she gasped, shyly crossing her hands over her legs, biting her lip. She heard Luna mention the beasts, and that they were two hungry and perverted...Wolves? Sybil looked about but didn’t see any… But Luna started walking in another direction to follow were she’d sensed them. "Wait-- You want to follow the hungry wolves?!... That seems like the last thing we should do.”

Luna recalled that she was the only one able to perceive the thoughts of all forms of life out of the two wizards. She could sense Sybil was uneasy with the lack of details. She figured an explanation might calm the girl down to prevent misunderstandings. "Oh, one of them called dibs on me but neither wanted you. and the other one didn't think you were good to eat from the waist up."

Luna kept low as she followed the wolves, keeping behind trees to maintain some form of cover as the two wolves. Following them through until they were getting close to an area of the mountain base, where a larger wolf was on top of a giant rock. Luna felt as though he was the alpha. Around the area were other wolves, Luna saw the wolves approach the rock and howled to the Alpha. The Alpha barely batted an eye to them . "So, you screwed up. Wizard?"  The two wolves were ashamed to admit the truth. "Wizard, who understood us."

The Alpha snarled before he jumped down, and bit the head of off one of the wolves before chucking it away, annoyed.

Luna whispered to the other wizard on the party, trying to explain things to her simply. "Okay, the wolves are in the midst of some form of explanation. Let's talk strategy, I can get this done one of two ways, neither requires us to do anything. I can either see if they can be reasoned with, or force them to fight each other, what can you do?"

“N-Not good enough from the waist up?” Sybil echoed sheepishly with a frown, glancing down at herself, before looking out where the wolves had run off with an unamused expression on her face, left eye twitching. She followed Luna into the woodwork, embarrassed by the words of wolves. They remained hidden as they came to a gathering of the pack and the Alpha slew his brethren. Sybil clasped a hand over her mouth mortified.

“N-no…Beasts cannot be reasoned with Luna even if you can speak to them.“ Sybil shook her head. ”I can do... Lots of things…“ Sybil began, rubbing her shoulder as she looked through the bushes. Sybil was visibly frightened by the malice of the animals.

“I can blind them easily with a blast of ultraviolet light from an artificial sun, it would burn them too of course. Or I can put the whole area in a space dome to slow and confuse them, eventually, they’d faint from lack of oxygen…. but then you’d be caught up in it too unless you stood far enough away.” Sybil explained in a whisper.

“There’s the meteors too... The black hole… but I’m not ready for those. It’s too much…” Sybil sighed, remembering her experiences from her life in Pregrande kingdom. She’d hidden and stifled her magic for a long time. The last time she let it out. She hurt had some one very badly, a stranger that wanted to hurt her…. But Sybil was not a fan of causing harm– to anyone!

“I’ve have not used my magic like this in a very long time, Master.”
Sybil muttered to herself before blinking at the nature fairy. “I’m.. Well, I’m scared.” Sybil whispered to Luna honestly, hoping to receive some form of advice from her guild master. She blinked over at the fairy hopefully with big hazel eyes. “What shall we do?”

Post by Luceam 2nd January 2019, 1:10 am

Luna knew that Sybil was scared, and being called master only pressured her further as she felt the burden of being the backbone for everyone in her guild again. She knew that there was going to be hell to pay if she led up. She analyzed her options very carefully as hearing about Sybil's magic was not reassuring her of the situation.  Luna's counted the wolves and the wizards were outnumbered ten to one. Luna played out several scenarios in her mind, all of them ended with Luna wasting her energy be it an all out assault or recovering at the end.

In an idea situation, Luna would've preferred to have six of them taken out stealthily making the numbers more favorable, but against advanced predators in such a large pack, Luna knew that wasn't an option with the current available means, she'd get caught if she tried to sneak too close. Luna whispered to Sybil, it was key that she stayed out of the way for the next part. "Keep calm, and stay back, don't follow me."

Luna intensely studied the wolf pack piece by piece, reading the room as she sensed the various emotions and listened to the dialogue of the wolves. Luna prepared her strategy as it was very risky, but the best way to avoid unnecessary loss of strength was to use others. Luna then walked out to face the pack, getting all of their attention as the Alpha growled. "Oh please, I'm not afraid of you, especially when you have such a disorganized pack." The Alpha growled at the fairy, not sure what she was getting at. "What do you mean? You dare to call us disorganized? We are as strong as ever!"

Luna held true faking her confidence with a slight laugh as she started to dissect the social order that was hardly held together. She gestured to the two wolves that had recently returned. Luna guessed they were still young. "Those two were cowardly and gave away their position. and One didn't even want to eat his target all the way, he was basically asking to die from having his neck chopped off. As far as predators go, they really fall short of the definition. I've seen beagles more dangerous then them." Luna then gestured towards three wolves, two together on one side but one alone on the other. "Then there's these three, the most cliche of love triangles. They appear together but the lone want clearly pines for the other's mate, and the one that has the mate is pining for him while trying to hide it. The wolf shot Luna a glare and a snarl. "It's clear from the gazes, don't give me that look, you know he's after your mate but you really don't want her, you're just pretending."

The wolves started to snarl around and bark at each other, Luna knew her effort was working as she found her next lead into breaking the pack. She gestured towards the one wolf that was shaking. "Then there's you, shivering at a little barking, let me guess, you never saw action in your life, you're shaking in your metaphorical boots!" The wolf sheepishly responded telepathically but verbally it was whining. "Ye.. yes I have! I bit many things in the.. uh... nails?" The Alpha was not above criticizing as he inadvertently fell victim to Luna's attempt to turn everyone against each other.  "Come to think of it, you never were seen killing anything and you always brought back meat when in a group..."

Luna figured she was getting close, now all he had left to do was drive the final nail into the coffin. The last bit to truly spark the fire was at hand, the Alpha's mate. "Then there's your mate's pups, they aren't yours are they? Neither of them sense similar to you, but they to sense similar to your Beta..." The Alpha turned to the Beta wolf, growling before he pounced at the wolf. Luna witnessed the carnage as the pack turned on itself for a moment. She then turned  and ran back into hiding with Sybil. The pack of wolves now fighting against themselves. Luna was not happy with the outcome of inducing violence, but in all fairness this could also be described as therapy depending on how one looks.

Luna leaned against a tree, keeping an ear out as the growls and whines filled the air. "You see Sybil, this is why if you ever have a big family, invest in therapy once in a while. Things fester if you ignore all the little things. With little more then looking and sensing, I was able to break their bond that was degraded by neglect. Hold tight and wait for them to thin their numbers out. "

Just as she was asked, Sybil stayed knelt in the shrubbery, as Luna exited the bushes, speaking out to the wolves. Sybil bit her own thumb through the sleeve of her sweater nervously. She listened intently to the one side of the conversation she heard, and the occasional primal growl.

The mage resisted the urge to leave the shrubs considering she had little clue as to what was going on…but based on Luna’s remarks the mage could paint a pretty clear picture of the broken family tree of this particular pack. Sybil flinched as the howls began and Luna re-entered the shrubs. “E-Eh… I Don’t think I want a family that much anyways, Luna, thanks.” She gulped nervously.

Sybil stood up when it got quiet and immediately flinched to look away at the pile of wounded wolves, and the few little tails that escaped in the wilderness to flee the carnage. “o-oh.. Well, I guess that’s taken care of.” She nervously chewed the inside of her lip before something on the battlefield got her attention.

“What’s that?…" Sybil questioned quietly…stepping over the foliage into the clearing. There she tiptoed around wolf tails and limp paws until she was standing over the remains of the alpha, their chest cavity had been gored open, inside she could see portions of his ribs which ran chills up her spine… But the leftmost rib bone on the top of the rib cage was illuminating a pale glow… Sybil had to pull it out… The light from earlier… She knew this is why it led them here- to retrieve this trophy.

She reached and held the bone, but the wolf winced, still barely alive. Sybil sighed at the beast’s suffrage, putting her hand to its head. “Sorry about your family.” She muttered and small magical blast came from her hand, dealing a final blow to the mutts head, putting them out of their misery.

Once they were limp at last Sybil clutched the glowing bone with a squeamish look on her face as she yanked it out, and smeared the blood off of the top of it on the sleeve of her sweater. She tried not to vomit. The source of the glow was coming from a set of runes etched into the bones. The fact that this wolf had this in his body awestruck her. Kyoka was an interesting place. Sybil walked back towards Luna looking sickened by the gore, brandishing the rib bone before handing it to her master. “Here, Something tells me we need this...”

Luna was by no means proud of herself, she had just broken apart a family and made them kill each other. She looked at the carnage she had a hand in causing, she felt shame deep down as she walked among the canine corpses. She closed the eyes of the fallen hunters as Sybil had retrieved the unknown goal from the corpse of the leader. She looked at the bone Sybil was holding, and how it shimmeredm confused as to how that would aid the two in their endeavors. Luna took the rib bone, and strapped it to the right side of her hip before she looked around. "Well, that was easier then expected. Which means we're not done here, not by a long shot."

Luna looked around, before she noticed a shimmer coming from the cracks beneath the giant rock the alpha was on top of earlier in the encounter. She figured she had to move the rock. Taking a step back with one foot, she gathered energy in her leg before kicking the foot up with great force releasing a wave of white energy at the rock, knocking it over causing the light to disappear as the hole down into a dark cave opened up. It was a ten foot hole but easy to climb down. Luna's sensed an ominous presence down "Well, a deep dark pit. You ready for this Sybil?" Luna dropped down into the cave looking around, she noticed there were various crystals basically dimly illuminating the cave, but there was still shadowy areas. Luna was not sure what to expect as she walked down the path.

"What could be dwelling down here..."

Sybil followed behind Luna, watching her long coral hair sway in the woodland breeze behind her. Silently, Sybil wondered about her master; and how heavy the weight of the guild was on the Fae girls shoulders. The clearing Was quiet now. The only sound amongst their breathing was that of the wind howling through hollow tree stumps. That was until the rock toppled over with a large thud against the force of Luna’s leg.

‘wow’ she had wanted to say out loud at that moment, but she bit her tongue, marveling at her master's strength in silence. Sybil hoped one day to have the same amount of bravery as Luna. Sybil always hesitated, especially when gazing down into the dark den.

    “I’m never quite ready,”
She admitted with a sigh, shaking her head. It was a bit of a drop from what Sybil could tell but Luna Had already hopped down. Sybil had no other choice but to follow. The girl adjusted her glasses, held her breath and hopped down, As she held her breath the gravity in her body became lighter causing her to float down and touch the rocky bottom of the cave very softly. The enclosure was dark, save for the odd glowing rocks growing from the sides of the enclosure. This wouldn’t do.

She cupped her hands and blew into them causing a yellow powder to twist into the air, it glowed like flakes of sunlight before settling on Sybils head and shoulders basking her in a little glow, making her into an artificial lantern. “We should be able to see where we are walking now.” Syil took a glance around, rocks sat on the edges of the cavern, sharp spires hung overhead, and there were roosting shadows that could have belonged to the bats as they slept. And there was a strange set of pale white stones in a corner. Sybil immediately Jumped and clung to her guildmaster Out of fright, clutching Her shoulders hard “There are b-b-bones d-d-own here…..!”

“M-maybe we shouldn’t be following this light… you killed the wolves!- I'm sure we can go back to the portal and go home...–!” She suggested in her nervousness, legs shaking.

Luna could tell Sybil had some kind of fear of the dark and quite obviously the unknown, she knew what she had to do. She knew that whatever force guiding the girls was not over yet, so she decided to explain as much as she could to Sybil. Mostly with how the blood for the wolves shouldn't fall on her hands. She kept going through the dark, hiding her fear within herself. She couldn't show weakness, she kept telling herself she had to be the stable point for others. "Sybil, listen to me, the wolves were just a symptom of the problem. We still got much further to go. Also that pack was going to fall apart the same way, I just skipped time."

The lack of light started to bother Luna, she grabbed the rod strapped to her side, she pressed the red lacrima with her thumb causing the red rope of fire to extend, lighting up the cave causing things to come to light that Luna started to find worrisome. She found the skeletal remains of several beings, what bothered her was the lack of pattern as some were facing the walls themselves.
"Concerning, it seems that in their last moments, they were all stabbed in the back, but doesn't that is the end of it. It seems they all knew, and tried to flee."

Continuing down the cavern, Luna noticed a few diverging pathways until the two came to a large circular area filled with holes and passageways, until Luna started to realize where she was, a predator's den. "Syba, keep your eyes open, we aren't alone..."

(ooc: posted via my phone haven't had access to a computer so sorry for the lack of communication with the guild as of late)

While Luna’s rod did help shed some light on their situation… It was still dim in the enclosure. Small, loose stones littered the floor causing Sybil to occasionally trip over her own feet, she waved her arms out at her sides to maintain her balance, groping the walls of the cave in the dim. “ My eyes are open, Master, but I still can’t see where I’m going.” She tapped her glasses. “Please wait a moment.” Sybil murmured, begging that her master slowed her place. Sybil clasped her cool palms together and slowly parted her fingers now cradling a small pale yellow light which seemed to hover just above her fingers, growing the size of a baseball. “There, Starlight.” She smiled, now able to blink about her surroundings more clearly with the mixture of both light sources..

Sybil shone the beam of her star ahead and more of the cave came into view. The sheepish little mage saw the same cavern that  Luna warned her about; a clearing in the tunnel where many other paths and crannies splayed out against the rocky dome on all sides of the duo. “haha….not alone?.... d-did I hear you right?” Sybil murmured rather nervously, biting her lips.

There were sounds like growling echoing ahead and Sybil could of sworn she saw some of the dens light up with malevolent glowing eyes.

Luna was grateful for the light, she desperately wished to tell Sybil she was wrong but with further light the doubt started to drain away from Luna as she saw the bones and the remnants of the path they traveled as her golden heart started to race.  Luna looked around at the passage ways, and how narrow they were, the average adventurer, a 5'6 170 pound man would have difficulty quickly getting through them, leaving them trapped as prey in the arena, ripe for the picking. For a speed based predator, this couldn't be a better set up.

It started to dawn on Luna, that the rock earlier didn't naturally get there, someone wanted this cave blocked off. She slowly recounted her thoughts, trying to open her magic senses, unable to sense any life force, but an ominous magical energy that seemed to slowly move about throughout the caverns, but nothing that indicated a presence was aware of the girls. "Sybil, look carefully, how the last footsteps are all scattered, erratic, and the positions of the other remains, I think I get a good idea of what has happened, they all came to this point, they got attacked, they tried to run but that was when they got struck in the back, right by the neck and from the look of it, died while being played with, maliciously. We're dealing with a sadist, someone who feeds off of fear. No, that's too simple."

Luna looked around, and started to wonder what the purpose of the lights were.  If someone had power over the dark, why would light sources be around? However the time she had to assess was short as she started to realize that the girls had whoever or rather whatever's attention as she pushed Sybil back as she stepped back out of the way, narrowly avoiding the blurry dark wave that shout out of one opening and through another, repeating the process as a muffled voice began to speak. "Fairy, human, both of you walked into my territory, quite the surprising prey to catch."
