Opening the doors [Balt's intro]

Let's get this done!

It was about nigh time to get things moving. Balthazar has been gathering some information about these mage guild communities for a while by now, as it struck him as a pretty good way to stick one's nose into the matter of things. Not that he'd consider himself to be especially nosy, but he certainly had an interest in the affairs of the magic world, and these places were naturally the best way to be kept up to speed. It meant making chums with a lot of people, but gotta do what you gotta do, right?

Well, one way or another, this particular day seemed like a good one to take a closer look, as the bat-like man was currently in the area, and had nothing better to do for the moment. Sure, he could be wandering around and sightseeing or something, but that got boring and old pretty quickly. He was not that easily awed by staring at buildings on his way, and while the fairly sunny weather and sky was a plus for outside activities, he'd sure rather be doing something more productive than that. And would you look at that...it was just around lunch time, which was a perfect time to make a stop at that mysterious Inn place. To be fair, he could use getting some grub anyway. Having skipped breakfast due to oversleeping on accident does that to you without fail, no lie. God hope the food wasn't too expensive though, as he did not want to end up broke all of a sudden...

Minor concerns that might never happen aside, Balthazar would eventually stride into the Silver Moon in, hands in the pockets of his dark grey attire, as he scanned the inside from left to right...find a table first or just hound down a waiter? Hmm...

Whether that was to be a lucky thing or not, the place didn't seem to be too crowded at the moment. Eh, well Balthazar was more or less fine with that. Meant less waiting for food if he ordered something while here, so he was down for not being stuck within a full, bustling restaurant. That was generally a pretty horrible experience to go through anyway. Nobody wants to spend a prolonged amount of time in a proverbial sardine can.

In any case, his quick scan of the inside meant he did notice the girl sitting at a table by herself, but the majority of his attention would very soon be taken by the one who took the liberty to address him straight up. He'd give her a wave of his hand with a somewhat cheeky smile. "Yo. You can call me Balthazar...so, you an employee here, or you wanted something?" Not that he was a food place expert, but it wasn't that common for people to immediately talk to you like that. Maybe he just looked out of place or something?
