WC ;; 609 / 50 | @Basilisk Fang | Appearances ;; ☽ ☾ "Snow melts into water... just as water fades into air," a delicate and soft voice spoke toward the ground, placing a singular hand into a soft and fluffy pile of snow that sat in the middle of the path, "it is a process that has always intrigued me...". The girl of violet eyes picked up a small portion of the snow and stood once again from her knees, allowing the snow to drizzle through the splits between her fingers and twirl away into the thick winds that blew peacefully through the mountain. It was around the ultimate time of darkness within the range of Hakobe; the time was midnight, and the full moon was beaming overhead with its characteristics revealed in full. Two individuals dressed in decadent kimonos and oriental wear slowly advanced up the trails of the mountain to what was rumored to be a fortress of sorts; the home of the basilisks, a place where the morals of the priestesses aligned quite perfectly. "Now, we must continue up this mountain. I feel as though the view of the sunrise will be spectacular if we make it there in time..." Kikyo spoke in a very gentle manner to her twin sister, turning to face the path that stretched upward into the skies of snow and stars; the Lady of the Storm was the reason that the two were advancing up this mountain, as it was her idea to potentially attempt to join the Guild of the cold and dark mountains. She wanted revenge against the Magic Council. She wanted to see them suffer at the end of her blade of darkness. It was said that she would be able to possibly make that wish into reality if she could join their ranks by her dragon herself; the storm persuaded her stillness in attempt to help satisfy her grief. While the lady of violet eyes calmly walked step after step among the trail of snow in the grace of a thousand angels, Akiyo hopped around in the snow quickly behind her, holding a chocolate bar in one hand and a katana in the other. The girl of sunset-colored hair was in a state of joy and excitement; while it was not her idea to come here in the slightest, it was definitely her duty to accompany her sister in this process, and she was definitely enlivened to do so. "Sissy, I'm so excited! I will be able to make more fwiends, and since it's so cold here my chocolate won't melt in my pockets!" the Lady of the Fire exclaimed in happiness before taking a big bite out of her chocolate bar, her hair gusting greatly with the wind and causing her horns to twinkle under the moonlight. If one would hear her verbiage they would doubt her for being a child; her voice was high pitched enough to pass as one, along with her accent within. It was quite ironic; while she was definitely not as intelligent as her twin sister, she was much more advanced in her worship of the elder dragon of fire and smoke, Hinata. However, it was not documented between them nor held by a competition how advanced they were in worship aside from their changes of their human bodies; they were both extremely close in their faiths and skilled in being priestesses. Cradling their katanas that channeled the elements and energy of their elder dragons, the twins slowly advanced up the trails leading to the fortress among the top of the ranges, vulnerable yet ready to defend themselves if attacked by hostile individuals of the mountain that held ill intentions against them. |
