Job Requirements: Rescue the Girl (Or Girls), that have been snatched by a nearby Vulcan in the Magnolia East Wood, return her home safely. Must defeat at least ONE Vulcan. The Trouble Maker demons can be scared off by an impressive display of power. 3 wizards max allowed on this Mission / Job.

Job Location: Magnolia (East Forest)

Job Description: Your Client's Girlfriend/Mother/Sister/Aunt/Niece is missing! There were rumors about a Vulcan that enjoys snatching lovely ladies, and it's just been confirmed by an eye witness this very day! Trouble making demons that aren't native too Magnolia's East Forest have recently been spotted, so be careful!

(Note: Client Name & Damsels Name, and Relationship Too Client Are Up Too The Wizard(s))

Enemies:


Weak: Trouble Making Demons x10 (They use a large array of weapons. Be creative. Some of them fight hand too hand. They don't wear armor, merely clothes, tribal style. They wander the East Woods looking for folks too rob.)

Normal: Wood Vulcan (A large ape like monster that wanders the East Forest. It enjoys scooping up women on nature walks around Magnolia. It hits with C-Ranked Strength, and takes at least 10 hits too subdue.)

Strong: Forest Vulcan (An incredibly large ape like beast, larger than most Vulcan's. It wanders Magnolia's East Forest looking for beautiful maidens too scoop up. This Vulcan can easily smash through trees if it wanted too. Requires at least 12 Hits too defeat. Be careful.)

Boss: Mountain Vulcan (This Vulcan is pretty much insane. It came down from the mountains in the North too snatch himself up a lovely lady. He only knows three words for some reason. "Pretty, Woman, and Smash." you will likely hear "Smash". He has white fur, and is much stronger than most Vulcans due too living usually in a harsh environment. He's traveled far from home too get his damsel and isn't about too lose her too some little wizard(s). Be very, very careful if he's the culprit. Must hit him a minimum of 20 for him too be defeated. chelvaric entered magnolia town while he pulled his hood over his head. He was wearing his sleeveless red jacket with a fur trimmed hood. The jacket was open and under it was a tight white tshirt. His blond hear was pulled back with gell. He wore a jeans pants with a neko key chain and a normal chain. he walked down the road to the place where he was supposed to be. It was a long walk so chelvaric looked around to all the shops. None of them were open as people were afraid from the Vulcan who was snatching girls. Miu his guardian angel was walking next to him. She was wearing a sweater and a short skirt again. this time she wore a blue scarf. She had ear protectors over her white cat ears.

“boss are we doing this job alone.”, miu asked while she was skipping over the road. Chelvaric looked at her as she was clearly in a happy mood again. hmm yes he had no idea who his partner would be. He hoped he wouldn’t be recognized. Otherwise that would give problems for there job. He touched his silver whale tattoo as he neared the gate to the east forest. “miu I don’t know who it will be. But I am sure it will be a nice person. so yes we have a partner”, chelvaric said. Well they had seen a lot of new friends at their new guild. They reached the place were the guard would be for the job and stopped at it. he undid his hood and lightened up a sigy. He took a deep breath and blew it out. with his new look normal people wouldn’t recognize him only his good friends.

Freya rushed around her hotel room in a flurry she had decided to get to Magnolia the night before and a rent a room at the nearby inn. She grabbed an apple and the job request which she shoved in her shoulder bag, she was just about to leave when she remember her pet snake Orochi, she gave an ecsasperated sigh dashing back and picking the snake up which lazily slithered up into her hair. She jogged down the steps taking two at a time, already late for her job, she waved goodbye to the owner promising to send a cheque and note of thanks later. She reached the main path towards East forest she took a bite of her apple and checked the job request for a second time, seem she and her partner would need to rescue some girls who'd been kidnapped by some perverted vulcans.

Freya reached the edge of East Forest, she glanced around looking for her partner wondering who had decided to join her and this job. She frowned seeing the shapes of two people, one smaller with cat ears and tail. Her eyes widened as she recognised the girl with cat feature, it was Miu which could only mean the other person was Chelvaric, she hardly recognised him, he had a totally different look. She was glad to see he was safe, but she looked suprised seeing the new guild mark on his forehead, obvious much she thought, he had joined Silver Whale, she didn't have any problem with that. Instead of saying any of these thoughts she stopped in front of him raised on eyebrow and frowned "Since when did you smoke" she said a smiled creeping onto her face and she grinned happily glad to see her old friend.

chelvaric was just breathing out some smoke when he smelled a dragon slayer. And not any dragon slayer no it was the earth dragon slayer. As he saw freya walking down the road towards him. Chelvaric couldn’t help it but he gained a smile on his face. As she asked when he started to smoke. “Well smoking was actualy healthy in the demon world. It’s kind of a habit since then”, Chelvaric said as he remembered smoking whole day in the demon world to stay healthy. And then dropped the sigy and put it out. “it’s good to see you again freya”, chelvaric said as he hugged her. well at least she doesn’t arrest me. He got back from her and then pointed at the building. “it’s best if we start the job then. Well talk up while we walk to the forest.”, he said as he opened the door to the guards. Miu was happily shaking her tail and hugged freya in the meantime.

Chelvaric walked in to the little office. It was really dark and not too big. Only one cabin and a desk was standing in the room. A old man was sleeping behind it. “sorry sir but were here for the job.”, chelvaric said as he made some noise by banging on the desk. “wooah who is there.”, the old man said as he wok up. “oh 3 mages. You’re here for the job I suppose. Well its not so much to explain. There are vulcan’s in the forest and they captured a couple of girls. We tried to get them but there to strong. We don’t know where there precisely at. But do watch out there little demons n the forest and there realy anyoing. ”, the guard said and he started ot dose off again. “well I guess its best if we start to move out freya.”,chelvaric said to his friend.

Freya laughed glad to see he hadn't changed since she last saw him. "So the rumours are true you are the sky demon slayer I wasn't sure from when I saw you in your cell.." she said as she realised the charges against Chev and that he should be arrested on site. She hugged him and followed behind him giving a small smile to Miu as she walked slowly towards the office. What was she supposed to do, her orders were to arrest Chev on site but she couldn't do that to her friend, she didn't want to be the one responsible for getting him tossed into jail again, but on the other hand if someone found out the Attack devision general had let Chelvaric the sky demon slayer go she could be kicked out of the Rune Knights and the attack division would be ridiculed. She stood to the back as the man who requested their help talked with Chev looking at the ground a turbelance of emotions, she didn't want to turn in her friend but if she was kicked out of the Rune Knights she would be leaving Eternia and her reputation shattered. She shook her head trying to clear those thoughts, she would watch Chev closely she didn't think he was dangerous and no one had to know she was on a job with a criminal beside, people wouldn't recognise him he looked so different. She tried to ressure herself of this fact as she gave a silent not trusting herself to speak as she followed Chev out her head flicking up as she sniffed "Chev do you smell that it...." she didn't manage to finish her sentance as two vulcans smashed their way through a tree lumbering towards them, she gave a shout of suprised annoyed that she hadn't heard them earlier, she crouch ready to attack as one brought it's fist down inches from where she had been standing earlier. She glanced worridly over at Chelvaric then shook her head he was a demon slayer and stronger than her she didn't need to be worried.

As he heard freya say that she smelled something he also smeeled something. A fist nearly missed rio. “dam those vulcan’s are already here!”, chelvaric shouted. He jumped backwards. Dam how coulnd’t we notice them earlier. They weren’t bigger or smaller than most Vulcans. They were green with some pink hearth’s on the side of their arms. “tss pisky male go away. We only want the girls.”, the Vulcan shouted to chelvaric. “ hahaha you dare challenge a demon slayer Vulcan.”,chelvaric laughed. He wouldn’t let freya being hit by these ape’s. he gathered wind to his under arms and made them in to scimitar blades. “I gone Sssslice you up.”, he said while pointing the blade to the vulcan. he sprinted to the vulcan. the vulcan was going to attack. But chelvaric slides toward the Vulcan and cut the leg of the vulan while he slide trough his legs. He turned around and wanted to hit again but the other vulcan blocked it with a small tree. Chelvarics blade cut the small tree in half but didn’t hit the vulcan. the vulcan tried to hit him with his fist but chelvaric jumped over it. the next fist he blocked with his blades and then jumped back a bit. He unsheathed his spear and took it in both arms. he wasn’t going to waste all his magic on these two. Chelvaric jumped forward and tried to pierce the first vulcan but he missed. The other two of his slashes were blocked by the vulcan’s. “hmm there better then they look it seems.”, chelvaric said to freya.

Freya crouched into an attack position her eyes fixed on the second of the two vulcans "Lets take one each I got the one on the left" she said her eyes narrowed as she sunk into the ground tunneling down "Those stupid pervy monkeys are gonna get it" she hissed tunneling horizontally under the ground grinning as she sensed the vulcans weight up. Freya burst up through the ground rocks flying as she grinned "My secret suprise move, Earths Dragons FIST!" she yelled her fist glowing green as she slammed her fists into the vulcans stomach, she gave a frustrated his as the vulcan twisted avoiding her three other punched "Gehehe the little girl's angry, I'm gonna crush you and then take you away with my other captives" the vulcan guffawed advancing towards Freya. She raised an eyebrow flipping her hair over her shoulder "Pfft you won't be able to get anywhere near me" she replied cockily as the Vulcan swung a fist at her, she narrowed her eyes in concentration, ducking low at the last minute preparing to launch another attack when the vulcan swung again, she blinked suprised but recovered quickly springing backwards puffing slightly, the vulcan was strong but his strikes weren't accurate making it easy for her to dodge out of the way. She looked over at Chev who seemed to be doing ok, but neither of their attacks were all hitting and she didn't want to expend to much magic power. She grinned suddenly having a great idea, towards the vulcans stopping a few metres infont spreading her arms out wide tunneling a large pitfall big enough for one unexpecting vulcan "Chev! if we can get the vulcans in here they'll be at a disadvantage from our attacks" she said pointing down at the pitfall hoping it would be ok, even if it wasn't that exciting.

Chelvaric looked as freya tunneled under the ground and hit him with a fist of stone. So this is the power of a earth dragon slayer. He looked at his own Vulcan. he had pulled out another tree and was charging at him. Well does he really think I am afraid of some tree. Chelvaric crossed his blade and slashed them. He didn’t hit the Vulcan sadly but the tree got cut in 4 pieces and they fell out of each other. Chelvaric dragged on his siggy and blew out some smoke. “is that the only thing you can do Vulcan.”, chelvaric said while he laughed. The Vulcan was getting really angry and charged in on him. “oh reckless coming at me.”, chevaric said as he put his hands in his pockets. Chelvaric just simply blocked the first fist by kicking to it. the next fist came from the right side. He pulled his head back and on the moment the fist was there he head banged the fist. A loud hit was heard as he Vulcans fist came to a halt against the head. “aah what kind of hard headed man are you. Now Vulcan angry. I gone bash you and then take the girl!”, the Vulcan screamed. “like I let you. Nobody touches my friends.”, chelvaric said. He jumped to the Vulcan and jumped up. With still his hand’s in his pocket he was floating in front of the Vulcan with his jump and he spinned around to kick him two times. The Vulcan blocked with his arms but got pushed back. Chelvaric let him fall on the ground and kicked the Vulcan on the chin with his feet. The Vulcan flow back right in the pitfall freya had made. “that’s one out.”, chelvaric calmly said and looked at the other Vulcan.

Freya hopped backwards trying to gather her thoughts, she watch with interest at Chevs new power he seemed to block the vulcans attacks with ease and attack the vulcan with skill. He had a large amount of power and she smiled over at him "You seem to be at ease with your new magic, it's nice to see" she said glad at least something good had come of his absence. She clapped her hands as the vulcan chev had been battling fell trap to her pit fall. She jumped forward landing gracefully in front of the vulcan "Earth Dragons ROAR!" she yelled sucking in a large breath and letting out a turrent of sharp shocks and eath material directly at the vulcan. She ran forward following up her roar quickly directing a flurry of kicks and punches onto the vulcan "Take this you stupid ape!" Freya yelled she was getting increasingly angrier her kicks becoming more viscous her expression hardening.

Freya grinned as the vulcan gave a suprised grunt as her roar hit it knocking it back to the edge of the forest leaving it dazed. Two of her kicks conected her healed boots leaving two large bruizes, even in the vulcans dazed state it brought a fist up stopping two of her kicks. Freya narrowed her eyes her fists heading towards it's head, the vulcan was becoming more focuse but didn't stop two of her punches. Her eyes widened as the vulcan stood up suddenly swinging its clumsy fists towards her, she ducked quickly and blinked suprised as the vulcan lost it's balance tripping over the top of her and landing heavily on the vulcan in the pit fall. She smiled at her good fortune, "Go Now Chev!" she yelled turning round to look at her partner, waiting to see what demon slayer move he had up his sleeve.

Chelvaric saw how freya was really kicking ass. Wow was she always so strong. He was proud that he had served such a strong girl. Well I can’t let her down and those apes are really annoying ignoring me like that. he started to run to the pitfall. One of the Vulcans was trying to climb out of the pit. Chelvaric scooped him up with one of his blades. The left arm of the Vulcan flew through the air as chelvaric made a clean cut on the Vulcan’s left shoulder. Blood splattered over chelvaric but like he minded this was nothing compared what naraku did on their job’s. he spinner around and wanted to hit the Vulcan trough the head so he was finished off but a rock blocked his attack. The other Vulcan had thrown one.

It didn’t seem that the Vulcan was in much pain as he jumped up and tried to hit chelvaric. He blocked the attack by head bumping the fist attack. The one arm Vulcan wanted to hit to but completely missed. Chelvaric jumped over the second attack from the other vuclan and focused on the one armed Vulcan. he jumped forward and head-butted the Vulcan. it stumbled backwards. Chelvaric jumped on him but the Vulcan took a rock as shield and caught all other punches of chelvaric. The rock cracked under each punch and the Vulcan started to run away a bit. Miu jumped in and tried to hit him but he blocked with his “shield” . “I”ll finish him boss.”, miu shouted as she pierced the Vulcans legg. He blocked her next attack with the rock. But the rock shattered and he was defenseless. She jumped on his chest and stabbed her spear through his throat. “nobody touches freya!”, miu shouted a bit angry.

Freya shuddered as Chevs blade sliced throught the vulcans arm, she was strong but hated fighting with blades and lots of blood. She directed her gaze away, her gaze flicking back worridly as a rock blocked Chev, she couldn't see whether it had hit him or not and started forward to help him. She stopped her eyes widening as Miu jumped into the fight, finishing the vulcan off, she gawped her jaw hanging she had never seen Miu fight before and it suprised her that she was very strong. She shut her mouth quickly realising how unnactractive it must look. She titlted her head to the side smiling at Miu's words feeling touch "It's ok Miu you aren't my body guards anymore" she said stepping forward to fight alongside Miu, "Lets take this stupid ape down!" Freya grinned.

Freya started to walk towards the vulcan the ground rumbling beneath her as it responded to her footsteps "Try and keep your balance during this" she said as the ground shook violently shifting as Freya started the earth quake. She watch as the vulcan stumbled around clumsily as the earth moved around it Freya peered round, smiling as her eyes lit on a large boulder "perfect for earth projectile" she whispered the boulder glowing green as she launched it towards the vulcan running forward "Earth Dragons Fist!" she said punching the vulcan across the face with a glowing green fist "Followed by Earth Dragons Maw!" she said long stone nail growing from her finger tips as she slashed at the vulcan, realising the only way she could finish this was to go for it's throat. She gritted her teeth and slashed a hand across the vulcans throat, wincing.

Freya froze shocked the vulcan still managed to keep it's balance even through the earthquake it threw up a fist stopping Freya's attacks with a maleciuous look in it eyes 'Your coming with me girly" she blinked suprised as the vulcans fist came towards her punching her in the stomach, she gapsed her eyes widening squirming as the vulcan picked her up in it large fist squeezing all the air out of her lungs. Freya struggled to no avail, trying to use her roar but unable to breath any air in. Her movement became weaker as she kicked and bit at the vulcans fist, afraid she was going to lose conciousness at any moment, her good luck had run out.

chelvaric looked at freay as she got grabbed by the Vulcan. dammed this wasn’t good. Chelvaric ran toward him and used the last charge on his blades to attack. I need to get her out of his claws or he is gone use her as a shield. Chelvaric thought as he was running on full speed. He finally reached the Vulcan and pushed himself off from the ground with full force. He flew high in the air and crossed his blades as he was falling down. the Vulcan saw no other chose then to drop freay as he took a tree with his 2 hands to protect him. Yes freya was loose so he could go all out. his blades hit the tree as he reached the Vulcan. the blades started to slide in the tree but disappeared just before it cut through the tree. The time of the blades was up. Why on all times now. The Vulcan broke the tree in two and tried to slam chelvaric with it. he blocked the first attack with his spear. it pushed him back from the power of the blow. And the Vulcan tried to attack him now that he was open. But it completely missed as chelvaric was staggering in a weird way.

He shook his head a bit till he saw clearly again and jumped to the Vulcan with his bare hands. He delivered a uppercut to the Vulcan and tried to hit him again. but the blow had pulled the Vulcan out of harm. Chelvaric tried to hit Vulcan again but he blocked. Miu had jumped in and hit the Vulcan in the face with her shield. But it didn’t dazed him enough as he blocked the two next hits. She cut his shoulder a bit with her last attack before she pulled back to get a breather.

Freya sucked in a large breath, falling onto the ground. Black spots swum in front of her eyes her vision blurred. She whispered a breathless thanks. She watch as Chev and Miu's attacks didn't seem to have as much affect as intended. She stood up shakily her vision clearing "Watch out Chev, Miu, EARTH DRAGONS ROAR!" she yelled pulling her head back and letting rip her second roar for the mission. The whirl wind of rocks shot towards the vulcan. Freya swayed slightly on her feet, she had already used up to much magic power. She stumbled on her feet sliding to the ground, looking down suddenly realising how stupid she had been. She was standing on the largest buffe she could wish for. Freya gave a weak smiling picking up a pile of rocks in her hand starting to munch them quickly this would get her magic power back in no time. She continued to eat as fast as she could wiping a hand across her mouth as she stood up finished. She grinned over at Chev and Miu "Right shall we finish this ape?" she said smirking.

Freya ran towards the vulcan "Right lets try this again, earth manipulation" she whispered skidding to a halt narrowing her eyes and focusing intently on the large boulder she had previously tried to knock out the vulcan with. The boulder shot towards the vulcan aiming straight for its head. Hopefully this time it would be successful. Even though she had eaten, her attacks were still weak and both missed their target. She gave an egsaperated growl stapping her foot childishly "Whats it gonna take to get this annoying monkey down" Freya hissed, hoping Chev had something up his sleeve. She looked up suddenly seeing the vulcans fist bearing down. Her eyes widened as she ducked low feeling the breeze the vulcans fist cause ruffling her hair it was close, too close.

chelvaric heard freya shouting to duck. He jumped out of the way as a dragon breath flew right pass him. But it seemed freya was a bit weakened from the magic use and the Vulcan could block it this time. well this was no problem he would finish this ape off or well he would try to do that. he started to run to the ape again and zig zagged to confuse it. he started to gather wind around his hands and claws started to form. They were made from pure white wind and were sharp as razor blades. He slide through the legs of the Vulcan and pushed himself off the ground. He spinner around and hit the Vulcan while screaming. “SKY DEMON CLAWS”. He hit the Vulcan on the head and he got pushed in the ground. Chelvaric jumped down to hit the Vulcan again but he rolled away and chelvaric hit the ground. His claw was stuck and chelvaric was trying to pull it out with all his might. The Vulcan saw that as his change and ran to chelvaric to kick him. Chelvaric blocked it with his other hand as he grabbed the foot and pushed him back. He tried to punch chelvaric but he jumped over the fist as his arm got pulled out of the earth. Chelvaric jumped back to freya to check if she was okay while miu was attacking the Vulcan. “everything okay. I’ll heal you once he is down just hold a bit longer out.”, chelvaric said. Miu In the meantime had jumped to te Vulcan but missed her first attack. She kicked the Vulcan between the legs and then missed her spear as eh fell down. but she punched him in the face with her shield.

Freya gave Chev a warm smile as he offered to heal her "No don't waste your magic power I'm fine if worse comes to worse Orochi can heal me, no need for you to expend your power needlessly" she said softly the snake curled in her hair blinking it's beady eyes at Chev. Freya raised her head watching Miu intently, the vulcan was weakening she guess it would only take 2 or 3 hits to get it down. She rose on shakey feet running swiftly towards the vulcan jumping up and doing two roundhouse kicks to it's skull. She gasped as the ape brought it's head towards her planning on slamming it's thick skull ontop of hair, Freya narrowed her eyes tunneling faster than she ever had straight down peering out of the hole she'd made watching carefully as the vulcan gave a sound of annoyance springing up out of the hole and bringing her fist straight into the vulcans face, wincing as she heard a sickening crunch, thankfully coming from the vulcans head not her fist. Freya turned slightly green as she watched the vulcan fall to the ground knocked out "Urgh did you just here the crack" she said feeling slightly queesy. She turned around to smile weakly at Chev "Alright we did it!" she said stumbling to her knees and giving a sigh of relief, placing a hand on the ground to steady herself "Well I think we did pretty well for our first job together, Miu, Chev"
