Job Description:
This is a character job series, each rank Markus gets the call from the same entity who first gifted him his magic. This takes the assumption Markus has just hit new rank and does not yet understand his abilities.
One night you feel a strange pull in the back of your mind, and hear whispers in your head, congratulating you on your accomplishments. You have only felt this once before, many many years ago. This feeling beckons him, directing him to Sin, the land of monsters. Markus must follow, it is an imperative he can hardly fight, and once he arrives he knows strait where to go.
Traveling through a dark forest you start to encounter shades, monsters, and other creatures of the dark. You must fight his way through the trees, the creatures are too warped, or dark to reason with. Once you find your way through you reach a large round alter. This alter calls the shade of the entity who gifted you your strength. After a brief conversation the final challenge is presented and you must delete the boss to win your prize.

Enemies:
Weak:
5x Shades, These spirits are dark creatures of primordial energy. They are easy to defeat, only needing 1 D ranks worth of damage, and they do .5 D rank per hit. Their strength however comes in their numbers.

Normal:
2x Shadows, These creatures are hard to see and very fast. They only take 50% damage from attacks, and require 1 C ranks worth of damage in total. Their attacks deal 1 C rank damage.

Strong:
Changling, This creature has no form of its own, and mimics your own. Looking like you he strikes fast and hits hard his attacks boosted with dark powers. It takes 2 C rank attacks to beat, and can deal 2C rank damage per attack.

Boss:
The boss is a strange creature made of shadows taking on a humanoid form. He uses a katana like blade of dark energy. The blade does 2C rank damage per attack, and it takes 3C rank attacks to beat him.
He has another ability which allows him to summon either 2 Shades, or 1 Shadow. He can do this once every 3 posts, but only if there are no other creatures.

Reward: 2x D-Rank Spell Slots

Legendary weapon is a bit much for a C-rank. I could allow a strong+.

Edit, after more thought i completely changed the reward. Cost is about the same. Let me know if magic is allowed, if not I will return to strong + weapon
