There were jobs that Sarisha could swear were made especially for her and this one was a prime example. She had been hired by a group of farmers to take out a family of wild boar. Not just any boar though but a giant variety. It had been some time since she had last had a challenge and the thought of it sent a pleasurable shiver up her spine. Valara's lust for blood was becoming rampant and the mage knew that she would have to indulge it, sooner rather than later and today would be that day. There was no need for her to hold back and she could just go all out and get her fill. She was also fond of boar meet and the idea of perhaps taking some with her was an added bonus. Sarisha could not remember the last time that she had last got her hands on some or at least found anyone who could cook it properly. The art of food making was hardly a strength of hers, after all. Eating it, however, was a speciality of hers.
Her search for the boars had led her to a large open field. It was a beautiful day and the perfect setting for what was going to be a hell of a show. The sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze that ruffled her long purple hair. All that was missing were her opponents and even that was about to change. Something had appeared just at the edge of her vision, a large creature, followed by a group of smaller ones. They looked small for a distance but as Sarisha began to move in towards them, it was only then that she realised the magnitude of her task. They were giant indeed and soon enough, the eyes of the largest one turned towards her. A look of protectiveness and anger was in the gaze of the creature, more than ready to defend her kin. Sarisha simply smiled, blood lust and desire seeping from her crimson eyed gaze as she continued to approach. Her pace slowed to a crawl, stalking the beasts, waiting to see which one would act first. The youngsters hid behind their mother, a sense of fear emanating from them.
In the end, it was Sarisha who attacked the beats, clapping her hands together and creating a geyser of hot water, scalding the beasts and sending them in to a frenzy. The mother bellowed and charged forwards, the ground beginning to shake as she moved. The mage had to be quick on her feet to dodge the rampaging beast, leaping to her left and out of harms way. She swiftly turned and fired a blast of water from her mouth, scoring a direct hit on the mother with a Screech Of The Water Goddess. The force of it was enough to send the mother crashing to the ground and giving the mage enough time to focus on the young ones. One of them was bold enough to charge towards her but the burn it had received was clearly in effect, causing additional pain and damage, enough to put it off. The mage managed to sidestep the attack and cracked the board with a water infused punch to the jaw, causing it to bellow in pain and collapse. She quickly followed up but darting towards it and delivering two more punches to it, ending its life before it could get back up.
A squeal from behind warned her of danger and Sarisha jumped, evading another of the boar's charges and ending up on top of it. With a grin, she began awkwardly peppering it with punches, while the boar tried to get her off. It took a few strikes but she scored a fine hit on the exact spot the young pig had been burnt, causing it to squeal in pain. Turning once more from her mounted position, she could see the third of the boars children barrelling towards her. Jumping clear, she then quickly pivoted around to see that the charging beast had ended up hitting its kin, killing it with the sheer force of the charge. Sarisha was lost in the thrill of the battle by this stage and she quickly sprinted towards her next victim, catching it with a powerful strike to the head, before it could turn to face her. It's body was hard but the strength of her punches were more powerful than most of her rank, causing the creature to squeal like its kin. It soon fell to the barrage. Three down.
With only two of the children and the mother remaining, Sarisha's confidence grew even more. Whipping around to find her next target, she almost had her bitten off by the jaws of another of the young ones when she found herself face to face with it. Her instincts saved her and she managed to duck underneath its jaws, before countering with a powerful uppercut to the boar's head, followed by a fierce left, right combination, sending blood flying from the creatures face. The sight and scent of the crimson fluid seemed to only increase Sarisha's strength even more, as well as pushing her further in to the realms of ecstasy that only combat seemed to be able to draw from her. One final bone breaking right hand was enough to put the beast down for good.
Her instincts were so sharp by this point that she simply raised her hand and pointed behind her, sending a wave of water cascading from her hand and catching the last of the young boar in its wake, carrying it backwards and sending it full force in to the mother boar, who was getting up at last. With her children dead, the mother boar screeched in anguish and pain, before charging one last time towards the mage.
Sarisha was ready.
Creating a whip of water, she cracked it towards the boar as it came towards her. It struck the creature and wrapped around its legs, forcing it to to the ground, right in front of where the mage was standing. With a sadistic smile, she bent down beside it and used her final and perhaps most disturbing of her abilities. She placed both hands on it and started to absorb the fluids from the boar, causing a dome of water to appear and surround the pair. When the dome vanished, only Sarisha remained, a broad smile on her face, clenching a haunch of boar meat in her had.
The battle was won and the mage chuckled to herself. It had been a good fight and her blood lust was satiated for now. She could feel her partner inside her revelling it in her too, increasing its effects twice fold. Turning away from the field, she then made her exit. She had more than deserved her reward today and it was time to collect.
