This is a topic where members should post clarifictions, errors, and what they desire to see in the rules. I'm making this thread because I want to try and finalize a lot of rules, not really change numbers but make everything work smooth with similar terminology.

Basically there is so much to compile, so every comment can help as long as it is relevant.

    Apologies for the amount!

    Character rules:
    -Remove guild scoreboard part
"When you are done, one member of the party must go to the job finished thread and using the template show that the job has been finished You then wait to see if a mod or admin approves your entire mission, and if you are approved and part of a guild, go to the Guild score board and post there so that it can be tallied."
(also mentions guild scoreboard under guild and faction rules, under being a guild member)

-Clear up/redo player spawned enemies, Honestly I think its too complicated and not necessary. We are aiming for the site to be less competitive so job rules would be worth simplifying.

    Magic rules:
-Update the spells list, there are a few inconsistencies between character rules and spell rules
-Clarify DOT spells with aoe/multi properties
-Clarify being able to reduce mp cost of a spell
-Clarify instant spells, range etc any drawbacks
-Consider adding that you cannot have multiple magic types in one magic or just caster and takeover/requip/summon, no having a summon inside a requip etc
-In takeover/requip/summoning all of your regular spells (under current rules) must be bound to a to/requip/summon. Perhaps remove that so we can have normal caster spells that aren't attached to one takeover/summon/requip

    Boards:
-Move all the registrations and lists to one place, with the team in guild info, alt and fc under character I feel like they would be better all together
    -Update/change/aestheticify earthlands information
-add the unknown lands to the landmasses/etc board area.

    Other:
-in the reply box change the text color so its easier to read and will lessen accidental multiple lineage rolls
-Get the dungeon shop up when possible.
-Make Rs/Cs go up to S rank and WS/Sinner start at S rank
-Where the custom lineage information is add a list of people who are approved to grade them

Hi there, sorry if this seems like a ramble.

There's just a few things within the magic rules I think that could do with a little updating thanks to the upping of mana and the adding of advance spells. The magics that I would say need a bit of a revamp would be Slayer/Takeover/Re-Quip/Summoners.

Slayers - Right now due to the increase of mana pool as you rank all slayers can enter force at will or at least that's how it seems. The table with the numbers really should be updated and explained more or removed as it makes no sense, more so as we no longer have SS rank.

Takeover/Re-Quip/Summoners - Over all these could do with a bit of revamp to make them a bit easier to understand.

Re-Quip/Summoners - Within the rules it says that re-quip and summoners can sacrifice spell slots for additional actives. I would love to see the allowance to either add an active or a passive not just an active, as some things would be better with an additional passive over an additional active. The suggestion for this might be offensive spells gain an active were as a defensive may get a passive or just allowing the person to choose, but I digress the main thing needed to be clarified is how sacrificing for a advanced re-quip/summon works. As I as a summoner was confused until I asked.

Takeover - Clarification on how advance spells in general work for this magic might be handy.

Sacrificing Equipment: As stated in the rules you can sacrifice equipment and depending on what you sacrifice it gives you a sig spell of a certain rank and a spell of the rank below. At current this only be added to primary magic, I myself as I can only imagine many others would like the chance to buff up their secondary magics a bit.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and taking it into consideration.

Quick note on this-- they already do permit the spells to be placed in the secondary magic.

My own thing I wanted to ask for clarification on is +grade equipment. So far + equipment gives 5% more MP. I think this should be changed to a flat number as MP is now, and it should also be clarified as to if this is added to the base MP, or after MP buffs are applied.

-This has been bothering me for a while and I had yet to mention it. I'm doing so now. The HP for S Rank unknown stellar spirit HP needs fixing. Why is it the only one to decrease?

    Ftrp 2.0 post desires/ideas for rules improvements/clarification here 5dO8t7W

-Also in regards to trading equipment for sig spells and such I will say that it needs to be slightly clarified as a whole. I was confused in general on how the system works. Not sure where the five amount is coming from. I had thought it would be 3 or 6 based on the wording but I have no idea. I could just be dumb but this is the only thing in the rules that has ever confused me.

    EDIT:
-I also think healing spells need clarification in the rules. Normally I thought they worked like damage spells, only in the reverse. However, in the past I have seen approved abilities that make me think this is not the case and that there are some unwritten rules regarding them.

I have a couple of suggestions that I would like to offer.

    1. I would like to see a list of what is acceptable material for Unique Abilities. I request this because when I created Leona, I had very little clue about what could be used. I believe that a simple bullet-point list would suffice.

    Example list:

    • Strength-boosting
    • Speed-boosting
    • Reduction of terrain movement penalties
    • Social boosts
    • Reduced Magic Costs
    • Increased Magic Damage

1a. I would also like to request that the percent that UAs can buff a character in a particular category is specified for each category.

    2. I would also like to see a clarification of Armor. For some odd reason I thought the term meant only whole suits, not individual components (helmet, gauntlets, pauldrons, cuirass, greaves, etc.). Again, a simple explanation of what counts as Armor would do nicely.

2a. As with UAs, I request that the percent that Passive Armor abilities can buff a character be displayed.

all I ask is for you to put that the site is non canon. There have been numerous occasions where newbies havecome to me, not knowing the site was non canon. There should be somewhere easy to find and easy to see/show that the site is non canon.

    • Please make a thread that compiles the statistics for speed, strength, Hp, buff values, magic damage so it's easier for combats
    • plz use either, 1 D Rank damage, or a set value of damage, because it could be very confusing at times when PvP occurs, diggin through all those threads just toknow how much dmg it would'vr dealt

So currently what I am seeing is wanted is, easier format to the rules to find stuff, clarifications, and changes to some rules.

So, these are my beta ideas:

A Thread containing tables, and FAQ styles of information in them.

Better formatting in the rules, maybe put the different magic types in a table(?) and then go into details about them later? Put in hyperlinks to different points in the post?

Reorganize or touch upon old rules. That could help, such as take over etc.

Update banners and such to say Alternate Universe.

So far that's what I am seeing.
