    Job Details:

After encountering the young woman during their travels and training session, Oras had experienced Amora use her magic first hand. And while it did need a lot of work, she had potential. He figured he may as well try and find a way to help push her to use her magic again. He had noticed the silvery fire rising from her during the battle however, and thus had made it a challenge for her. To fight and battle with her all, but practice her control over her emotions, so that she had more control over this bizarre power of hers. She needed to face challenges however, challenges that would push her to try harder, harder than before. And he believed he had a way to do it. They were on their way to Hargeon town, a place he had helped out quite a few times before. He was currently looking at a job request that he had picked up in Magnolia while they were there. The job was essentially requesting aid to locate the slaver bosses who were attempting to deliver another load of slaves. The magic counsel wanted them preferably alive but dead was fine as well. Oras however wanted to use this to teach Amora self control, and how killing defines whether they are the enforcers, or the murderers. How they were better than those men... But it was mostly about her learning self control above all else.

As they approached the town he folded the page and tucked it away into his cloak. He turned to look at his apprentice who moved by his side. He had been rather rough on her with her training lately. He went easy on her with his magic but even then he didn't pull punches. He wasn't going to lighten up any time soon, but he was reflecting that they may need to take a short break, and let her practice for a bit. She wasn't the same as Oras, he grew up with only one goal: Survive. He knew as a child what the world was like and thus wanted to be prepared for it. If he perhaps gave her a week or two by herself that should work. Mainly because Amora had some training under Oras and thus her thinking was less on the thoughts of a child and more like the mind of a survivalist... Sort of. She was still child like in some aspects such as her curiosity and wonder, but that was good. He didn't want to see that side of her die out at all. Thinking about it though, she wasn't too much younger than himself. It made him realize how fast he was forced to mature in his youth. This wasn't a bad thing, but it was something he should note.

Soon enough they reached the gates and he pulled the job notice out of his cloak and handed it to Amora for her to see.
"This is going to be our next job, and your next training session. The slavers ship slaves out during a random point at night at a random location on the docks. We have some time before nightfall and thus should do some investigating. When night does descend on the town we should wait in the shadows and take our targets out one by one until the main boss is all that's left. I could use my magic to help us, but I won't be doing so. Today I'll be overseeing your actions in regards to stealth. I don't doubt you have some experience from the wild, but what I taught you is for humans who can be more observant and dangerous. Understood?"

Post by Amora Shade 20th June 2018, 10:02 am

Amora grins as she makes her way along the path that lead to whatever town that they were traveling to next time. She takes out her dagger and just starts playing with it. Turning it into multiple different item that it can turn into with the components that is within it. From a simple block of metal like it once was before she had molded it into her trusty dagger. To a long staff that would be very brittle and break when any amount of counter force would act upon it. Just toying with her designs slowly pushing for more intricate ones that she could make with what she knows of the world. Trying to work on making something that could be a moving part.

She then glances towards her mentor Oras seeing him hand her a piece of paper as she takes it and reads it without any issue. A vast improvement from when she was first found and couldn't even read the language that she was able to speak..even if such speech was rather simple in all of its aspects. She glances down taking note of what the task is and grits her teeth ever so slightly at hearing what it is. Slavers huh? Scum. She says with some venom. Not liking the idea of another group taking another under its control. The strong may dictate what is done, but they also have a duty to protect what they can control. Not become fat and inactive like the bears of winter. She says with some annoyance as she looks towards her mentor. Abuse, and hurting one of your own pack is a bit messed up. She says with a frown.

Sooo stealth in, find the captives. Free them. The mess up the slavers? She says questioningly to her mentor to make sure she understands the very basic idea of the plan that is setup for her to do in terms of this job. She just smiles anyhow feeling confident in her capabilities since not many will be able to escape her control range. The very earth is all her playground, and nobody will be able to stop her.

Post by Oras Auro 20th June 2018, 10:39 am

Amora began her reply by making her hatred for slavers very clear. There was potent venom in her words as she described them. The strong dictate, but were overwhelmed when the weak rose up to challenge them. Then the weak were destroyed by a single power, who dies through some other means and resets everything. The cycle was ever changing though it did have a familiar rhythm to it. However she was indeed correct that the strong should protect their land and people rather than just sit around and abuse what power you do have for your own pleasures. Regardless that was human nature most of the time. A large percentage of the population, while seemingly good, would abuse power if they had it. Revenge on those who had oppressed them, leeching the wealth and prosperity from those who had some while they had none. It was the way of things. Human emotion lead people to do horrible things for the sake of greed, revenge, or some good intention with unexpected consequences. She mentioned how hunting one of your own pack is messed up. "Depends on your point of view. From our side we're hunting our own 'pack' or race rather because they broke the laws. But then again, laws are written based on what we humans feel is right. Whoever is in charge makes the rules. A vicious and evil man could be in charge and writes the rules. Anyone growing up in his rule could grow up thinking those laws are good, and anyone who breaks them is evil. Unless you believe in a deity who knows what is good and evil, such concepts are suggestive unfortunately."

She then tried to summarize what it is they were doing, or rather what they would be doing. She mentioned freeing the slaves and then messing up the slavers and he shook his head. "No, they'll be guarding the slaves from the beginning. What we are going to do is while they are prepping the ship, we'll take out the slavers one by one. Pull them away from the others without making a noise and knocking them out behind cover. We did go over this sort of thing in training I believe. Spotting the right time to move forward, how to knock someone out by holding their mouth and nose closed while pressing your arm against their neck in a certain way. Once you sneak up on one and knock them out, you pull them to where we are hiding and place him somewhere he won't be seen. Once we take out all of the guards then we can surprise attack the bosses as they come out to check on the progress. If the slaves are gone they'll be alerted to our presence, so we'll release the hostages last. If at any point we lose the benefit of stealth and surprise, I'll handle the guards and bosses while you set the captives free. Sound good?"

Amora frowns at hearing Oras speak about the whole perspective of things and just shakes her head as she looks him within the eyes. Your laws just makes things very convoluted and annoying to deal with. Makes things a annoying shade of grey when it could easily just be black and white and allow a hunt to go on with ease. But nooooo i have to worry about laws and people trying to throw me in prison if i step out of line. She says with a small pout on her face while crossing her arms at her chest while thinking of that situation. Finding it annoying how many little clauses of behavior there are towards things and not just a simple strong rule the weak. Survival of the fittest to create the best fighters around. 'i wonder how well these people would last within my realm and home.' Amora thinks with a small grin.

She then hears the plan and sighs softly, but nods her head in understanding of how it will work. So basically you do all the heavy lifting while i make sure the people go through. I can do that. She says with a nod of her head. Knowing that he earth magic should allow enough time of using obstacles to force the people to take there time trying to capture any captives, and in the end using herself as a shield could work to stall for time.

Oras could see her frustration and annoyance before she spoke, and when she looked at him it was clear she did not approve of anything he had said. When she began to speak his mouth curled into a small smile in both agreement and amusement, though she could not see said smile underneath the mask. When she finished speaking he would reply himself: "Did I ever once say they were my laws? If I feel the need to work against the law then I will do so. However you must understand and come to learn this: The law was established in order to keep the majority of population protected. The law does not prevent people from helping or saving one another from people like slavers or murderers, but anyone who isn't trained could very well cause more harm than good if they make the attempt. Thus the law requests for people to rely on the guards who have been trained to protect. While I personally feel this makes the general population lazy, it does keep most people from harm as not everyone is born a warrior and protector. You'll find over time that some people focus on survival, and some people wish to make the most of their life, fill it with pleasure and entertainment. As for the mission itself, we don't have to worry about the laws as they are in our favor not theirs. Speaking of which, I'd like you to read about the current laws we have established when you have the time."

Oras wanted her to read the laws not just to know what is said you can and cannot do, but also because he wanted to see if she could detect the many loopholes and flaws in the system. He wanted to show her that humans did their all to do their best and establish some sort of system that would protect their kind and keep them safe and prosperous, but would never succeed one hundred percent. Then he heard her words and would reply quickly so she didn't get the wrong idea. "Only if we are caught. Remember, we're using this job for you to test your stealth skills. I taught you those for a reason, see this as your test or exam. I will be here in case something goes south as nothing is predictable. However I will not interfere for the most part. As I said, unless you are caught, I will not hide you nor any sound or action you make. It will be up to you to sneak up on your targets, time and choose your targets rightly, and move them somewhere they will not be seen. Only when you have taken care of any and all guards will you have been successful. For now however we will focus on locating and gathering intel on these slavers."

Amora looks towards her mentor as he begins to speak about what she said. She frowns ever so slightly as she thinks before glancing up towards her teacher. While it is true that these laws your kind have created allowed for protection of others. There is also more harm then good at times since they can create people just watching helplessly when they feel like they should get involved. Making the victim feel hopeless and possibly accept whatever happens to them since nobody stood up for them. She says as she glances towards the ground her hands clenching ever so slightly. She then glances back up towards her teacher refocusing back upon the present before she gets lost within her own past that is behind her forever. Besides the guards could be corrupt for all we know wherever we go and turn against us at some point. Why should we trust them in the end or the "law" they could be standing for being your money and how they get the most of that thing. She says towards her mentor.

When she hears the last part of his sentence her face drops into a look of utter disappointment. Read your laws? That sounds sooo boring! She says with a pout on her face and cross of her arms, but still nods her head understanding that it is for her benefit and thus will do so. However, that doesn't mean she won't complain about it to Verus for being mean enough to assign something like that to herself. Once she hears her mission she grins a bit as a excited look burns within her eyes as she nods her head as she glances towards her teacher tapping her cheek to think of the best approach. She tilts her head to the side as she nods her head with a smile. Rule 3 of the hunt. Scout out your potential zone for hunting to figure out there patterns. Rule 4. Figure out where to lay your traps for maximum effect. She says with a grin on her face as she looks towards you. What information do we have about what there location looks like or where it is? She asks curiously towards her teacher before then shaking her own head no. No even better can you take me to its location if you know it right now, or create a map of its layout.

He nodded as she countered how certain laws could prevent people from helping others, making the victims feel helpless and hopeless. And from the way she was speaking it seemed she was speaking from experience. Perhaps from her childhood when she was attacked by the villagers, and helpless to protect her family. How no one stood up against the mob. She continued on, stating the very clear fact that there could be corrupted guards who would turn against the innocent or wizards at any given point, and challenging him on why they should trust the law. He shook his head. "Humans try their best to establish a stable and safe system. Their intentions are good but more often than not they fail. Guards can be corrupted yes, no one is beyond corruption. However think of it from another perspective for a moment: Humans survive by fooling themselves to think they have at least some control over their lives. Over what will and will not happen to them. They want to believe if they do x actions they will receive y results. To remove laws would be to strip away the illusion. People panic and choose to do what they want. The unknown terrifies humans who don't accept it, and most do not. Therefore when fear seizes control of the world, everything becomes chaos. Death, theft, abuse, etc. would multiply far quicker than it does right now. Furthermore, the more you observe, the more you'll find that people are more selfish than caring in this world, and won't be as inclined as you or I to help another in need. In simpler terms, the leaders focused on choosing the lesser of two evils."

When she complained about reading the laws of man and how it sounded boring, he chuckled and placed his hand gently on her shoulder. He saw her nod and nodded in response. "I don't mind you complaining as it's natural for one with a thirst for action and excitement. However you should probably practice tempering your mind to be more focused and patient when the situation requires it. Researching such things is tedious, but helps you understand what restricts others. By understanding these things you could find ways to corner your opponents without having to fight them at all."

She asked him where they were going and then told him to just take her there.
"All we know is that the slaves will be delivered via boat on the docks. We have to track them out from there and find their hideout. Hopefully we'll learn something before night falls and we have to wait from that point on."

Post by Amora Shade 23rd June 2018, 9:49 am

Amora looks towards her mentor and raises an eyebrow at what she had just been told by him as she looks towards the sky and closes her eyes. 'So people become scared and just simple beasts without these laws? If that is the case then that means most humans are just beasts being controlled and moved by these laws like a normal one would its instincts.' A small chuckle escapes her lips at such thoughts entering her mind as she gazes towards the town with a different outlook then before. So they are just simple beasts then. Letting laws control their impulsive behavior, and once you strip them away instincts strive and they turn into simple animals. Murdering one another for one reason or the other from this new found "freedom". She says out loud to herself as she gazes towards the town where the slavers are supposedly hiding away possibly, or at the very least will be transporting other human beings aboard some kind of boat for profit.

She then hears her mentor talk about knowledge and she tilts her head to the side ever so slightly. So having knowledge of these laws is another way to trap my prey into a corner where they couldn't escape out from? She asks curiously not bothering to call the people she could go up against human. Just simple prey that is hunted down and slaughtered with the tools on hand. Also if these slavers are going to be at the docks why don't we just setup a elaborate trap at the docks to take them all down at once before they could have a chance to react. She asks curiously towards her mentor looking around the area. Unless there is a way to find tracks or evidence of people who might've communicated with them.

He heard Amora's simplified version of human nature and shrugged. "If you simplify it then yes. However there is a small but decently sized portion of the masses who make the choice to actually think about their life. To consider other aspects other than their own pleasure and wealth. It's those people who could survive if they made the second choice to train themselves in case they were ever in any sort of danger. You and I however are even further separated from these people. We lost our homes and families and friends as children, and were forced to grow in a harsh environment, forced to mature more quickly than others have. Therefore we will always think of things differently than anyone else in the world. So when you see their foolishness on display, remember that they have both chosen that life, but were also forced into it from the act of ignorance. It's fine to be disgusted with the worse ones, but for the most part I usually ignore or feel pity for the rest. Living a life of ignorance as they do."

"Yes. It's a skill you can develop. Over time you'll learn how to talk with humans and how to become persuasive to them. You can say something to them and while you aren't lying, you mean something else, luring them into traps whether legally or verbally. Perhaps both. You could cause someone to slip and confess something they did and let the soldiers handle the physical work for you. Persuasion can be a very powerful and potent weapon indeed. Leaders use it to create a powerful army from a sea of random individuals. Words cause kingdoms to rise and fall. To master it is to master the minds of others." She then asked him why they didn't just trap them at the docks. "Because there is the bigger picture to think about. What about the people they are delivering these slaves to? What about their connections, allies. You don't think they work alone do you? We want to see if we can get any names, anything and anyone we can drag down along with them. In addition, I did take you on as my apprentice because you asked me to teach you. So instead of handling this by myself, I'll use this job to teach you how to be stealthy hands on."

Amora lets out a small sigh but nods her head understanding somewhat of what has been said. Finding it silly though that people would willingly ignore everything else around them in favor of their own comfort that they can find in meaningless things. I move my hands within the pockets of my coat and looks towards Verus with a shrug of my shoulders. I mean i planned ahead thinking of that by trapping in as many slaver guards people around the docks as possible and killing any who were too much of a pain. We release most of the slaves keeping one or two around for possible questioning if they are mentally there enough. While we also question the guards for names and a location with either my physical pain, or your own mental possibilities with all those scary illusions you can do. I say towards my mentor having thought of gathering information also within the idea of trapping the docks as much as possible.

She then taps her cheeks thinking on the idea of such big systems of government and people being taken down by a simple thing like the ability of speech that everyone has that could go against them. Amora glances towards her mentor with a curious gaze. Is that what succesful guilds or whatever those wizard things are about then? Just being able to talk the best to get the most success one way or the other? She asks curiously as she looks towards her teacher. Also if we aren't going to the docks where will we be heading first? She asks finally to figure out what to do.

Amora seemed to understand what he had said, though she didn't seem too pleased with the knowledge. However it was a learning and growing process. The more she learned, whether she liked the information or disliked it, would give her more of an edge when it came to survival. Especially when she understood what the human race and it's civilization and culture was truly like. She then mentioned how she had planned out how she'd handle it, by trapping slavers for interrogation later on, mentioning how they could use physical torture to get the information out. He turned to her again. "And what if the slavers you capture end up proving to be more loyal or enduring than you originally anticipated? Recall what I said about how words could be very powerful? If you can convince someone to be loyal enough, they will die for you in a heartbeat. While it's always the plan to knock out and capture these slavers without killing any of them, you must act as if no one will reveal any information whatsoever. If you prepare for the worst, you'll be ready for when the worst does indeed happen."

She then asked about the guilds and he nodded approvingly. "In general, guilds are groups who have a single goal in mind that the wizards within the guild share. Whether it be to gain fame and money, protect those in need, help train up other wizards, serve the counsel, or some other personal reason. There are of course 'dark' guilds which work outside the law to get what they want, and typically don't care who is harmed in the process of meeting their goals. Most of these dark guilds are made up of wizards who felt like they were betrayed by the government, another guild, or the magic counsel itself and wish to seek their revenge. Finding a guild you can trust on all sides as well as a good goal is.... Difficult to say the least. And that's if you have need to join a guild at all." He then heard her ask where they were going. "To see an individual I spared due to his information on the underground network. He may know where the slavers are currently held up. With any luck, and if the situation allows it, we could partake our stealth lesson in their current hide out rather than wait till nightfall."

New 'Sparring Partners' Empty Re: New 'Sparring Partners'

Post by Amora Shade 26th June 2018, 2:04 pm

Amora sighs softly but nods her head in agreement hating how her simple method of just striking them when they are busy and distracted couldn't just be the preferred method. Grumbling softly to herself she takes out her dagger and starts messing with its components once more to distract herself at least a tiny bit while listening towards her mentor. Knowing that even if she hates every word that is being told to her that he does know more and thus would have better idea in theory on how to tackle the problems ahead without needing to kill her prey. 'I wonder if i can figure out there source for acting as they do as slavers if i can question them. Why would they turn people who seem smarter then beasts into just dumb animals like hunting dogs. Seems rather silly to do such a thing to people, but maybe there is a reason for there seeming insanity beyond just simple greed as Verus likes to say.' She thinks to herself with a nod of her head at seemingly nothing if one was to view her.

She nods her head slowly at hearing about the guild's figuring that it does make sense from what she can understand of the world. That people would band together for such reason like a pack would in terms of trying to survive through the various methods one could think of. Though dark guilds being a interesting one for herself to hear about, and one that she will definitely want to see within person to see what they are like if trying to talk civil with one. She grins to herself at the thought and keeps that within mind as a thing she could try to do within the future. Wanting to see if there is more to things then just Verus' perspective about the guilds themselves. She then just nods her head with a kind smile towards her mentor. Got it Verus lead the way. She says gesturing for him to lead as she waits to see how this slaver thing will go down in terms of trying to find them.

Oras had in fact heard her grumbling when he finished and he sighed before turning to her again. "Alright here's a little fact: Nature does the same thing. Have you heard of crocodiles?" He asked. If she didn't, he would continue on to explain. "They are basically a large creature with scales that live in the water, but can also hunt on land. They typically hide in the water, stalking their prey and typically using the water they hide in as a way to lure their prey to them. Their attacks are not predictable, and thus catch the prey off guard. Think of this the same way: We are luring the bosses out by removing all of the guards and thus silencing the area. When they come out, we strike. Then we can interrogate them all once the bosses are dealt with." He didn't speak as if he was annoyed or impatient, he had to remind himself where she came from and what her mindset probably was. She thought in the way of animals, and basic needs. Therefore sneaking around and such didn't seem too sensible with her living in the forest. If she knew that there was beasts who did what they were doing, perhaps she'd be less frustrated to follow his lead on this.

When she nodded to his description of guild's, it didn't seem like she was holding anything against the guilds at all. She could relate to that he supposed, when it came to animals and their packs and such. When she requested that he lead on he nodded and began leading her through the town. They passed multiple buildings and people, including the guards who looked at Oras with a nod. He nodded back but said or did nothing else. The people knew him because of all the jobs he had taken and succeeded with in this town, no more reason than that. Soon enough he reached a small building and knocked on the door. within seconds it had opened and a young man with brown hair and green eyes smiled at them.
"Ah Verus! Glad to see you made it! Who is this may I ask?" "She wanted me to teach her how to survive, so I am teaching her." The man raised an eyebrow. "An apprentice?... I'm not sure which emotion is stronger, shock that you took on an apprentice, or sorry for her and what kind of training you're putting her through." He chuckled but when he received no response he shrugged and led them inside. "Come on, I'll show you what I know."

New 'Sparring Partners' Empty Re: New 'Sparring Partners'

Post by Amora Shade 28th June 2018, 8:41 pm

Amora looks at her mentor with some confusion when he asks about some creature that she has never heard of as far as her memory goes. Ummmm..nope. Never heard of this. She then pauses to do her best with pronouncing the name of the new creature that she had just heard about. A..crock-o-dial. She says slowly pronouncing each syllable that she heard slowly and then nods her head satisfied with a grin. Crocodile yeah that thing never heard of it. She says as she then waits patiently for her mentor to explain which she can only guess is the case as she hears him start talking after her admitting of not knowing the creature. When she hears the full description she nods her head at hearing the description rather fascinated with hearing of such a hunting style. Hmmm..looks like i will need to go to different regions to observe and kill more creatures to learn how they work then. I want to figure out the various hunting styles so i can make my own. She says sounding rather cheerful about the prospect of killing at least one animal of every kind within the world.

She walks with her mentor through the town keeping a hold of what her dagger had turned into during the process of the walk. A simple coiled bracelet around her wrist that has a snake head end that her left hand is clenching onto. Eventually she looks at the house that she arrives to with her mentor as she looks towards the stranger that starts to talk. Amora then chuckles softly at hearing the response as she looks at the man. Welll he doesn't go easy and he plays dirty tricks the entire time. Though i guess that is part of the fun. I can't wait to crack the code of his magic and show who the superior hunter is. She say with a devilish grin and a certain gleam within her eyes at saying that.

New 'Sparring Partners' Empty Re: New 'Sparring Partners'

Post by Oras Auro 29th June 2018, 12:48 pm

Oras chuckled at her curiosity, and was glad he had discovered a way he could communicate his teachings better with her. He simply needed to match his lesson with something an actual animal or creature in this world would do, and she would not only understand it better but she wouldn't complain. In other words, she developed a pattern. He created patterns for her benefit as well, such as a set schedule. But in reality they would one day reach a point in her training where the schedule would never be set and would in fact be random. In what they would do and when. Even at night things would start to occur, forcing her to be able to detect a threat during the day or night, awake or asleep. Being a light sleeper helped when it came to survival. Otherwise one could be assassinated in the night with ease. He nodded to Amora as they walked. "Perhaps I'll give you such an assignment at one point. Like an exam or test to see if you're ready for the next phase of your training."

When Amora stated how he did in fact use dirty tricks the man laughed and nodded.
"I bet he does! He never gave that cultist a chance to fight back, I doubt he'd let you." The man chuckled but Oras said nothing. In truth he actually did give Amora chances to fight back. He told her he was going easy on her when really he wasn't. Though he was starting to push himself more and more with every fight. At this rate he would be pushing hard to defeat her via hand to hand combat. They would be involving magic and/or weapons into the game soon. The man led them inside to a table with a large map on it. The map was Hargeon town and there were three pins stuck in three locations. He pointed them all out. "These are the possible hideouts that I could guess. There's the damaged and abandoned warehouse by the dockside. It's probably where they will meet up if you want my guess. Construction hasn't happened there yet as there are greater priorities. It is only a secondary warehouse after all. The second option is over here. It's in the more ugly side of town. Essentially-" Oras shook his head and pointed to the third option. "They're here." The man blinked. "The rich sector is the least likely place they'd hide out tho-" "That's why this is the location. Hiding in plain sight is a rather beneficial aspect if you do it right after all. No one will think to look for them there, and they could easily disguise themselves, blending in with the crowd and individuals there. Amora, what are your thoughts?"

New 'Sparring Partners' Empty Re: New 'Sparring Partners'

Post by Amora Shade 29th June 2018, 12:59 pm

Amora gains a grin on her face at hearing the task she could be assigned in the future. The job of hunting a creature that will need to be put down by her own hands within the future. TO make that creature submit to her planning and tactics of how to hunt it down with utter perfection and silence. She then glances towards the map of where things are and quickly looks at it trying to memorize every last little detail for what she can observe from it. 'MMmmk. So there is the warehouse area where they will keep people. Easy to knock people into the water possibly, but also risky for myself since i wouldn't be able to have access to the earth. Battle plan attack from the far and keep myself close to the city.' She thinks to herself with a nod of her head keeping that little thought in mind as she then sees her mentor point toward the rich sector of town and hears his reasoning behind such logic.

A grin slowly plays across her face as her mind interprets the idea behind it and just nods her head in agreement. Well plans like this are always a gamble since they could be hiding anywhere, but if they are hiding in the rich sector of town then they are being chameleons. Blending in with any environment they can get, and if they really are trying to get the most money off of....people. She says with a little bit of hesitance at the prospect of selling such a thing off to other thinking creatures. Then it would make sense to base yourself there to get the ones that would get the highest price for things. She says with a nod of her head and glances towards her mentor and then the other man. If this is the case though i still think the guards could be in on this and thus we should go with the assumption that nobody might help us in this regards. Informing authorities is going to be a bad move until we can guarantee there capture and fate for ourselves. She says more outloud to herself, but also willing to do so since her mentor usually finds flaws and allows her to learn and change things up if need be.

Oras listened to Amora, his apprentice, share her thoughts on the matter. All of them being valid points. "Indeed. These men aren't fools, they won't be hiding somewhere the police would go looking. You have to think like a criminal and figure out what would be the ideal place to hide and do business in. In this case, living somewhere high up gives them access to many assets. Not only that, but if they do in fact have guards who are with them and not on our side, they could be paid to look the other way if people are kidnapped in the middle of the night. And their high standard would keep them from being a target. It would make sense if they were business men as their meetings wouldn't look suspicious either. And if you look carefully at this building, it matches every need. And you're right Amora, we cannot count on the local guards. John, you brought your fellow warriors correct?" John, the apparent name of the man who showed them this information nodded. "Yep. Only once we established that Beanstalk village was safe however. It's why it took a while to notify you, and why we're doing this so last minute." Oras nodded. "Right then. Let's make our plan shall we? Call them in."

The guards of Beanstalk village entered the room and recognized Oras and Amora. One of the guards, the one who tried to comfort Amora when she wasn't feeling well, nodded to her with a smile. When they all gathered Oras would speak up, but first whispered to Amora: "You haven't seen a meeting before have you? Well, go ahead and listen for the most part. If you have something to add however, feel free to speak up." He turned to the guards. "The targets are the slavers. The plan so far is such: Amora and I shall infiltrate the building and gather as much intel as we can. I'll lend you all my communication crystal, which means Amora will stay close to me the entire time. That way I won't lose contact with you. If they aren't hosting a meeting we'll follow certain individuals of interest until we either hear something, or until it's time for the transport of slaves. If they do have a meeting, we'll listen in and let you all hear what's being said. Thirty minutes prior to the slave transfer, we will begin the hunt. Amora and I will handle the workers and the bosses, luring them out and taking them out. Meanwhile you and your men will infiltrate the building and arrest any slavers while setting free any slaves. Any questions?"

Amora glance around just remaining silent for the most part just observing what is going on around her as she watches as some guards from beanstalk come forward as she looks towards them with confusion. She glances back towards her mentor and says in a soft voice to him. Ummm wouldn't these guards be useless? Aren't they technically out of there right to be here since they aren't guards for this village? Or are guards like a universal thing that can do whatever whenever? She asks in a confused tone towards her mentor and when she gets her response she would just nod and wave towards the guard that was there for her. She then would just listen towards what is being said by her mentor towards the group. She just nods her head at the general plan as it is simple enough for trying to get everything they would want ahead of time within this mission parameters from what she is able to gather about everything. She just squeezes the snake bracelet in her hand as it turns back to its original form of the dagger as she puts it in her pocket encase she needs a quick and lethal strike to something.

She then glances around the room to fill the time before her mentor starts to speak. Looking for quick escape points if the situation arises for such an escape to occur. Practicing some basic survival lessons that will aid in her success of living past this day. 'First lesson of living. Find your escape points encase you get found and need to get out of here quickly.' She thinks to herself with an idle gaze going around the room marking points of escape throughout it that she can find.

Oras heard Amora's question and let John, the guard captain, give the answer.  Oras didn't mind sharing the explanation with another individual.  If the man was anyone else he would cut him off, but he had learned to trust John..  To some degree that is. The man was loyal to his village and had proven that in the last skirmish with the plague and plagued animals. However was he there for another reason as well? He needed to investigate the matter further... Though that would have to wait for the future. For now he needed to focus on the present, which involved the slavers and his apprentice, not the cultists, the plague, or the village and it's citizens.  He smiled at Amora and chuckled.  "Essentially we'll be wearing the armor from this town.  I have a good friend we can trust from this guard garrison, and Oras knows him too.  He offered to give us armor and explain why guards from another village arrested them instead of the town's own guards.  Oras plans to find a list of people who work for them too, so we're betting that some of the guard's names will be on there and we'll have them arrested and put in jail.  Cleaning up the guardsmen of any traitors or corrupted guards."  Oras nodded.  "Which said lists will probably be in the main office, archives or in whatever meeting they end up holding.  Now then, is everyone ready to play their part?  We're running short on time."

She nods her head in understanding as the guard talks about having to switch armors out for the ones that will be normal for people of this town to wear if they are going to be protecting it from threats. 'Seems like a common human plan is to be like chameleons and blend in with their surroundings.' She thinks to herself as she does some small stretches to prepare herself for the extensive amount of work that will be put in sneaking around some place like a snake. Amora then looks over towards her mentor and gives a wolfish like grin on her face as she takes out some metal from her pocket and lets it form into claws with fine points around her fingers with a tight grip around her wrist to make sure that it stays fastened to her wrists. She looks towards her teacher with a smile. Letting the more animalstic side out. The hunt is in season why not make it a even greater hunt by making sure it is the corrupt being meant with the end of a clawed paw, or well in this case hand really. She says sounding rather cheerful and happy the entire time that she says those words as she user the back of her hands to lift up her hood over her head to aid in being as sneaky as possible to hide. She then looks towards her mentor Verus once more with a grin. Hunting time? She asks excitedly and a bit with a innocent almost like quality to her voice as she says that.

Oras nodded to Amora and looked to the guards. "You know where to head. We'll see you once this is all over." He tossed them the crystal and walked out the door. He placed a hand on her as they moved out. "Remember, no attacking just yet. We'll be stalking and observing them first. Once we have all the names and information we need, then we can start the trap. When it hits night and they are getting ready for the transfer, we'll take out their men quietly and secretly, in a way that will draw them out. Once the bosses are out, then we can fight for real. Remember that this is a sort of test to see how well your stealth skills have become ok?" With that they made their way to the building in question. Oras explained how he would make them invisible and silent for this part of the mission, but that she should be careful not to move any objects unless Oras gave her the command. They couldn't risk giving away their position or intentions this early after all. They waited until someone opened the door and walked in, Oras using his magic to make the door stuck fast, the person trying to pull it closed while the two wizards slipped in. When they had he loosened the hinges once again, allowing the door to close.

Oras handed Amora a spare communication crystal he had on him so they could think their thoughts to each other.
"Alright, let's split up. My magic can cover this entire building so I'll keep you invisible to others. Remember not to do anything that will alert others to your location. Go ahead and try to find the archives and look for a list of names of those working with these people. I'll locate the slaves. Once we're both successful or unsuccessful, we'll meet up and find the ones in charge. Understood?"

Amora gives a wave goodbye to the guards that will be aiding them with this job as she makes her way out of the building alongside her mentor as they make there way towards the hideout of the slavers. She grins ever so slightly at the thought of taking them down, and to show who the greatest predator is to those people. She glances around at the town memorizing things as she passes by them wanting to make sure she knows where things are within the town if she needs to get them within the future. Wanting to make sure she knows where to go for a nice little shop to buy clothes, jewelry, or even simple weaponry if the town can supply it to me. She then hears her mentors voice and sighs softly at being reminded once more at the need for stealth as she just nods her head in understanding as she glances her way over to him. The only sign of that being the hood shifting ever so slightly as she looks towards Verus. I know Verus you are constantly reminding me of that little fact during the entire time we have been on this job. she says with a slight wave of her hand as she then focuses once more on her walking.

Once they arrive at the building she glances at it and sees that it is rather nice looking for the most part. She glances around the building once they arrive finding the entrance to be a bit too much for her liking of how things should be. She then glances around slowly as she tries to think on what to do first. 'Names would be somewhere where people keep paper, but not in the open since this is a hideout. Look for important room and then look around for secret codes?' She thinks to herself as she glances about and then just shrugs as she just starts exploring the entire building looking around for anything that has a important title to it, and places of significance. Finding a place with lots of books as she sighs softly and shakes her head not wanting to read through all of them. thus just continues on looking for anything and everything.

"You're excited, and a consistent reminder helps to temper that excitement with logic. It doesn't hurt to make certain," he countered before moving down his path.

It would take some time but Amora would eventually discover the location of the files she was looking for. There were many shelves, cabinets, drawers, chests and the like filled to the brink with papers of all sorts. They were however filed according to alphabetical order. Making it a little easier to locate. If she figured out what the file would be filed under, which was in fact confidential, she would see a drawer with a sub category. Filed under A in said category was a folder labeled 'governmental assets'. In this folder were files on governmental officers, soldiers, and even politicians who were working with the slavers. Offering them protection, discretion, aid, even some of them purchasing some of their finds. The list would contain names and ID numbers, as well as what their usefulness was. Some of them were marked with the words "under watch", some of them with a future date beside it. Meanwhile Oras continued to look for where the slaves were hidden. He scanned the area for anything unordinary. He spotted a false door behind a bookshelf around the corner in a dead end via sound waves too high for humans to hear themselves.

He found the switch for it, or rather button, and began descending quietly down the stairs. When he reached the bottom the stench filled his nostrils before he dispelled it with his magic. He saw the cages filling the basement, each with three or five slaves. Some small cages with only one captive. Some of them were hanging from the walls, probably as punishment. There were several men watching them cautiously as they paced back and forth. Some of them mocking the slaves. Oras walked through the area undetected, scanning for any exits of any sorts. He spotted a few of them, noticing that they lead into sewers and back alleys, creating escape routes. He'd need to relay this information to the guards. They could send some men through the front and one guard down each of these passageways. Effectively cutting them off completely. He then made his return trip to where he would meet up with Amora. When he found her he would ask,
    "Were you successful?"

She makes her way through the building glancing around rather bored with everything at not finding anything exciting or interesting to begin with as she makes her way through the study and through a kitchen of some sort. She glances around the area until she finds some place that looks important with lots of things that can hold stuff. She grins at that and makes her way inside quickly after making sure nobody was looking at the door as she enters the room. Once inside she checks the area within it and finds nobody of importance within as she slowly nods her head as she opens up the cabinets one by one checking for folders through folders making sure to be quick about it and putting them back where she had found them. her fingers dancing through each folder until she finds the one in question listing everything as she grins and takes that entire folder and hides it within her coat as she closes the drawers towards the cabinet. Hoping that the people won't be smart enough to do regular checks of the place once they left as i quickly make my way out of the room and heads towards the exit of the place with a grin on my face. Having just stolen all the information that was needed from my side of things.

Once i hear your mental voice i just nod my head and responds back without any hesitation. 'Yeah i got the information with me. Now we just need to get out of here and then we can get onto stopping these people. by the way this goes to the big people within town not just soldiers.' Amora informs her mentor.

Oras nodded as she said so. "Alright then. If that's the case let's go ahead and look for whoever is running this current organization. Follow me," he said as she could see him despite them being invisible. Oras stalked up the stairs as he scanned the area for anyone of note, anyone who could possibly be the one in charge. As they were walking down the hallway however, Oras spotted a pair of men. The look in their eyes was what had caught his own. He signaled for Amora to slow down and move against the wall. Oras was nearly on but not actually touching the wall, and let the two pass by him. The two were talking about 'assets' 'goods' and 'buyers'. As Oras listened he noted a certain group of people who were purchasing from them. This group may not mean anything to Amora, but Oras knew that this group was from another land across sea. This of course meant that they were in fact the slavers as the transfer was to be over seas, hence the docks. He signaled for her to follow him as they listened in on the conversation. "Now then. How many men will be guarding the cargo?" "About five sir. The seas have been quiet the past few days, so tomorrow won't be any different I suspect." "I'd apply five more just in case. This is our last business action in Hargeon for a while you know. Let's make it count. I'd also suggest we load the ships around.. Let's say three o' clock?" "Sounds good sir. I'll see you then in that case." And with that Oras gestured for Amora to follow him outside.

Once the two were alone in an alley way (though Oras had to scare off a few petty thieves first) he turned to Amora.
"Alright, what names are on the list? And what did you make of that conversation?"
