Earth Vs Fish (A Strange Occurence On The Shoreline) [Job]

Amora takes a small calming breathe as she makes her way through the town of Hargeon. Looking around at the rather impressive amounts of shops just lying about all over the place from what she can see as far as her eyes will let her. She smiles a tiny bit enjoying the small bit of time she has to herself while her mentor is off doing whatever he wants to do at this time. 'Probably something like finding another job to do he is always looking for an income to get for the both of us.' She thinks to herself with a small shrug of her shoulders as she continues to just walk without much of a purpose. Heading deeper into the town and further away from the forests and mountains that are on the other side of the town. As she starts walking through the town she starts hearing whispers of something happening near the ocean. Not hearing many great details about what the actual event is, but just general knowledge that something is going on and nobody seems to be looking into it. She frowns at that rather surprised that not even the town guard is doing something about it to try and protect these people, but if that is the case that must mean it is also beyond there strength to try and stop. She looks towards the ground as she stops her movement contemplating what she should do if anything at all to try and help these people with there own little issue.

She looks towards the ground near her feet knowing that it is her responsibility as someone with power to go and do something to help all of these people deal with whatever is terrorizing there town. However, the cost of doing so would be her trying to go towards the ocean and see what was happening with it that would cause such a big distress and commotion among people who are rather faraway from it from what she could tell. Well relatively faraway within the confines of the town it could be seen as a decently long walk from this point towards the ocean itself with various things that could come from it that would be a danger for herself. She shivers ever so slightly at the thought of a repeat event of being so helpless and powerless like she once was as a child. To nothing to grasp onto for safety, to have no earth underneath her feet to use as her safety blanket away from the dangers of this world. Such a thing would be absolutely horrifying to the greatest degree. A soft sigh escapes her lips as she finds herself reluctantly moving towards the beach of the port town even if that is such a fact for herself. She slowly forces herself to look up off of the ground towards in front of her trembling ever so slightly in nervousness at having to face what could be a death sentence for her. Her fists clenched tightly together to serve as some means of getting rid of nerves and to try and put up some kind of act for herself to hide her fear away from everyone that could be looking towards her.

Amora moves through the town slowly and carefully hearing the whispers of the rumors grow louder with not much talk about the actual event beyond some talk of large creatures becoming beached upon the sands. That people would be willing to pay to figure out what is going on or how to remove the creatures within question from the sands so people may once more enjoy the ocean. She takes a gulp of air while walking forward knowing that despite herself it is her duty to help those who can't help themselves. 'Just take calm breathes Amora. It is just the beach. You don't even have to touch the water if you don't want to do so. Just look at the beach help out if i can. Then leave without even once touching the water.' She thinks to herself as a form of mental prep for what is about to happen. She takes deep calming breathes as she then focuses back in front of her as she finds herself having passed many shops, homes, and just buildings to find herself in front of the beach of Hargeon.

Amora looks in front of her towards the beach as she finds a sight that is rather perterbing for herself. She sees seemingly hundreds of creatures sprawled across the beach seemingly all of them dead and unmoving. She lets her gaze go across the many various forms of them from simple innocent looking creatures, towards what she has learned is basically the tiger of the ocean..a shark if she remembers its name correctly. Then something much larger and rather frighteningly for her to look at. What is that. She says softly to herself looking upon the large form of the fish like creature that is dead. having not gotten to that point of her studies within the library since it was more so primarily focused upon her weapons of choice for her to use within her training against her mentor. She keeps a steady hand upon the stone made structure of the town before jumping down towards the beach and lands softly as the sand kicks upwards from the force as she gazes towards the multitude of fish like creatures. She curiously makes her way forward through the hundreds upon hundreds of fish each one as unmoving and not breathing as the last that she had past. Making her way across the beach without making her way any closer towards the ocean then what is necessary for herself to do. Still finding this whole ordeal to be somewhat shocking to see so many creatures dead without a seemingly probably cause for this to happen.

She gazes at each one trying to find some form of life and seeing none as she passes by pausing at the different types that she finds. From the various species of large fish, towards the shark, and then finally gazing upon the bigger creature that dwarves all of the others. Each one dead as can be. 'Was this some kind of magic to kill them all? Did that cult have something to do with this? I..don't think soo? They don't have any of that fungus thing on them, but this could be a more sneaky way they are going about things?' She thinks to herself as she taps her chin ever so slightly while within thought about the fate of these multitude of sea dwelling animals. A small pang of sadness within her heart to see so much seemingly be wasted upon them, and that there home is a cruel one to do this to them. As she wonders slightly how much a difference life could be for these creatures compared to the nature of the forests and caves that she had grown up in.

'Monster Dice' :

She slowly walks among the dead creatures as her heart suddenly stops for seemingly a second to her as she watches five fish angrily start flailing like mad men. She watches them boss and shakes as each shoot over towards her and hit her without really much of an effect. She looks at the five fish in question and just take out her small dagger within her pocket and quickly stabs each of them upon it and quickly shoving them off of the dagger in question. With each strike of the dagger slaying the fish in question as she just looks at them with confusion and slowly looks along the beach realizing how dangerous her walk could've been. Grabbing the now re killed fish she tosses them onto the stone work of the town as she starts running as fast as her feet will take her. Not feeling like dealing with anymore of these creatures if they start to awake once more with some kind of vengeance.

She then looks back as she slows down realizing that normal people won't know they can become awake once more. With a defeated sigh she once more heads into the horde of dead creatures that most likely will attack her. Using her dagger she goes to each fish she can find and stabs them without any hesitation before throwing them towards the stone part of the town just letting them slowly form a line. Knowing that they will either be used by her or the town in some way to make use of the dead that is on this beach. To show these creatures some respect for whatever had just occurred to them to make this there fate. A multitude of undead creatures that desire to attack the living like the strange plant growth that had happened within the forests.

As she passes by one of the larger creatures that she doesn't know the name of as she takes her dagger and kills once more of the larger fish species to try and end there suffering she stabs once more a smaller creature. With her dagger plunged into the smaller fish of the species she has seen she feels the ground shift as she turns her head to see the species of creature who she doesn't know suddenly move forward and hit her rather hard knocking her back a good distance. She puts a hand towards her ribs with a small groan knowing there will be some bruising from the strength of whatever that creature is. She looks up and watches it start flailing like a man man kicking up sand and knocking the smaller creatures into the water once more. Which only cause them to get beached once more flailing just like the larger beast. She sighs softly and maintains her distance away from it. Now knowing that her up and close style of dealing with the smaller creatures won't be as viable as she once had thought if creatures like that can make her hurt as it had done.

She closes her eyes and focuses upon her surroundings as she smiles as rocks shoot up from underneath the sand as she quickly fires five off towards the larger fish like creature slamming into the giant thing made of rubber. Watching as that seemingly did nothing at all to it. She grits her teeth and quickly activates her second plan as she forms spikes and impales ten of them into the large creature that she would later learn is called a whale. With her finishing the job by dropping the spikes and letting it crash into the sand and then proceeding to explode. Unleashing blood and guts across the beach and some onto herself. She looks down and sighs softly at that as she touches the ground and uses whatever earth she can get to rush up her and get the guts off of her at the minimum. Not minding the blood as much since it is just a byproduct of hunting creatures.

She sits down upon the ground to catch her breath as she looks towards the rest of the beach seeing many of the fish seemingly stop moving that were near the large creature. Meaning they had died from the exploding that had occurred. She grins at that little fact figuring that might be her strategy with dealing with the large creatures then. Just let the explode on the beach to kill off more of the smaller little ones to allow her an easier time of having to deal with all of the small little creatures that weren't the large ones that are like mammoths compared to the others.

She takes a calming breathe and looks towards the next giant fish like creature that she can kill as she glances over towards the nearest one as she slowly approaches the being already having a plan in mind for what she could do. Amora moves along the sandy beach her shoes touching the bloody sand that is now present as she looks over towards the giant creature that is similar to the last she had to kill as she forms a giant wall of earth between her and the creature in question as she stands right behind her wall and then activates her next plan. She hears the creature starting to flail at the sigh of her magic as she quickly activates her earthen tendrils that shoot up from both sides of the giant creature and wraps around it keeping it still and unable to move wrapping it down tightly. With that complete she takes her dagger and comes out from behind her wall and stabs the gaint creature once in its eye as she quickly backs away once more behind her wall. Ignoring the loud wail of pain that comes from its new wound. 'Okay with that i should be able to use my spikes also to strike this creature down and be over with it as fast as lightning.' She thinks to herself with a nod of her head and she remains hidden behind her wall waiting for the perfect time as she closes her eyes. Sensing the stone and rock that is hidden within the beach as she moves it over towards the whale and forms it underneath the large creature as she smiles knowing that she is ready to kill the beast now within a singular moment.

She tries to activate her earthen spikes but doesn't see anything happen with a soft sigh she charges forward and stabs the beast once more before quickly kicking off of it to escape from the beast as it flails around breaking the earthen tendrils around it that once held it firmly to the ground. With a frown she just holds her dagger within hand that is made from her magic as she charges forward and quickly sidesteps out of the way as the beast flails in her direction with its head as she chucks her dagger and watches it sink into creature's blubber slowly with a squishing sound accompanying it. She shivers ever so slightly at the sound finding it rather disgusting as she sprints towards her wall and jumps to it and quickly kicks off to land on top of the fish as she form a piece of metal in her pocket into a sharp piece of metal at the bottom with a thick top as she plunges the metal into the blubber to serve as a point for her to hold onto. As she slides ever so slightly from the flailing but is managing to stay on with quite a bit of difficulty. Riding this out till she has a change to strike the larger creature with the only thing that can seemingly kill it within moments. The only sign that she knows she is doing anything meaningful being the blood soaking out from the wounds ever so slightly as the beast wails in pain from having two things within it being well within its skin? hide? She finds herself not really knowing the correct word.

With her plan in mind she quickly activates her earthen spikes as they shoot out from the earth and into the whale as she kicks off of it and pulls her hood over her as she turns around. Watching as the creature once more explodes as it covers her back in guts and blood along with a slight propelling affect as she lands on the ground a good distance away from her dagger or nail like thing she used to stay on the giant creature. She puts her hand against the ground and forming a stone dagger that she can tell is rather easy to break, but sharp none the less. With a small shrug of her shoulders she forces herself up off the ground slightly dazed and groggy from not knowing where she is on the beach anymore as she feels the waves lap at her skin suddenly. With a loud shriek of surprise she quickly gets away from the water while breathing rather heavily with widened eyes as her mind starts going into the worst case scenario parts of her. Starting to think back towards when she had almost drowned as her heart is pumping much faster the normal at the thought of almost drowning once more. She slowly gets up on shaky legs and shakes her head as she just holds the stone dagger tightly wishing to get this over with so she doesn't need to worry about drowning within a ocean anymore.

She just looks towards the ground slightly disappointed with herself at her reaction. Hating herself for having such a weakness within her. She tries to force herself to look out towards the vast ocean and imagine herself in it, and fails miserably as her mind prevents her from doing so without having the drowning aspect within it. She looks away from the large body of water and just focuses on her next target. She looks towards the medium size creatures next as she holds her dagger and quickly goes to plunge it into the creature.

She looks down towards the target as she sighs softly as she quickly watches it coming alive as she jumps back away from it as it comes to bite at her leg. Having gotten use to the whole idea of them coming alive and use to them suddenly jumping at her. With herself being use to such tactics from prey who love to play dead to try and hide away for a opportune time to strike at the hunter which was her while she was within the forest. She holds her brittle but sharp dagger as she throws it towards the eye of the creature as it flails about and instead strikes the skin of the creature. The sharp point of it sticking in but the rest cracking from the force of which she had thrown the weapon in question at the creature. She glances about and watches as another right next to the creature on the opposite side of it and furthest from her starts wriggling also as she sighs softly at that.

She quickly backs away and fires off a rock at the one she had damaged hitting it directly on the head and seemingly dazing it. At seeing that she smiles happily as she forms another dagger and chucks it at the shark killing it once more she can only assume as it stops moving once more. She glances over towards the other remaining awake once that is wriggling its way over towards her chomping at the air. 'I wonder if they are blind?' she finds herself thinking at how erratic these attack patterns appear to be for the creatures that are just flailing about without any real plan at all from what she can observe of them. Finding herself rather happy with being a ranged user for the most part at this moment, and that all of these creatures aren't the smartest bunch around.

With one left she glances towards it as she continues to back away from the flailing beast to make sure she can keep her distance as she goes over her options within her mind on what she could do to combat against the enemy in front of her that is left. She looks towards the stone wall behind her as she puts her hand against it as she forms her dagger from it with a smile upon her face at having something a lot more durable within her hand. She grips it tightly with a grin as she charges forward towards the creature entirely willing to take a few hits if need be to take down this creature. Amora looks towards the shark like being as she spins the dagger within her hand with a smile as she then lunges forward and impales the uninjured being with her dagger. With her dagger sinking into the shark she feels it bite down onto her leg as she grits her teeth and quickly follows up with two more stabs hard into the being going up to the hilt as the being then becomes unmoving. She takes slow deep breathes to calm herself as she gazes towards the creatures forcing the teeth out of her as she sees some teeth remaining in her. Bites her lower lip she slowly forces the teeth out and puts them in her pocket so she can get this looked over later. With the two beasts down she gazes tiredly towards the last area she hasn't checked and already sees two more beings just flailing angrily as she sighs softly and charges forward towards them. Wincing as she ignores the blood flowing from her leg as she makes her way across the beach seeing that it is two more sharks.

She glances towards the two flailing beasts as she activates her magic quickly as tendrils of earth wrap around one of the sharks. She quickly follows up with fives spikes of earth stabbing into each of the Shark's impaling them as deep as possible as she grins at that and charges forward. With her dagger she spins it in her hand once more enjoying the sensation as she stabs it into the shark and follows up by tossing it over towards the other Shark impaling the other one as she takes a calming breathe as she runs a hand through her hair. As she gazes towards the other two creatures as they seem to flail a bit angrily even then as she goes towards the creature that has her dagger and pulls it out and once more stabs it hard in the face ending it quickly.

She glances back seeing the other one unmoving as she shrugs not caring at all as she lets the earth slip back into the earth as she moves back towards the town totally exhausted. She jumps up and grabs the ledge and pulls herself up towards the actual pathways ignoring the stares that she is getting as she heads back on over towards the inn where she was staying at to go take a shower to wash off all of the blood on her. She just looks forward without much of a care about what she had to go through. To kill so many beats that were most likely put out of there mystery being a rather good thing. Though in the end saddening to know they could be going through so much suffering, and then have a even greater annoyance of being near a giant body of water for a extended period of time.
