Oras flipped through the pages of his most recent book tiredly. He hadn't been able to sleep lately, mainly because he was still going through shock. Normally shock was either short or lasted a day at most. However seeing as how within an hour he was powerless, killed, and went through the sensation of feeling his body and even molecules torn to shreds before being put back together again by his anomaly of a soul. He believed that he was entitled to being in shock longer than others. Of course he was starting to adjust, but only starting to. His chaotic soul was more riled up now than before, still shifting and changing. But now he was feeling the emotions of those around him and had no control over it. Therefore he sought out solitude now more than ever. Right now since he wasn't capable of sleeping he chose to stay in the library and keep researching, looking, investigating for some sort of information, evidence or clues that would help him understand this soul of his. And how to tame and control it in some way.
He shook his head as he repeated one of his phrases in his head: Control was nothing more than an illusion. Nothing was true save for that there was no truth. Oras closed the book and sighed in frustration as Sova passed by. The owl looked at Oras carefully before speaking up. "You should sleep, you don't function as I do Verus." "I know that, but I can't sleep. And no I won't talk about what happened there. Just, please help me figure this out. Your guild master boasts about how much knowledge this place has so there has to be something here." Sova looked at Oras a bit curiously, mainly due to the fact that Oras had said 'your' guildmaster instead of 'the' guild master. As if he wasn't a part of any of this. He stood up in frustration, passing his mask that lay on the table. Originally it was for his protection. To hide his emotions, his gaze, and keep people from recognizing him in case he needed to just vanish. Now that his soul was awake however that was impossible. Now it's only use was in battle when he wished to hide where he was looking... Or to become more intimidating. However the mask wasn't designed to be intimidating. He'd need to rethink everything...
