Personality: Shen is a quiet, calm man, typically not speaking unless spoken to or asked a question. He is often called dependable, caring, and introspective. He tends to see the best in people, and tries to avoid fights, since it often results in less issues. More than anything, he strives to help those around him, rather than harm. When it comes to interacting with others, Shen often chooses not to speak, and instead listens to others, focusing on taking in information and understanding. He is highly devoted to his allies as well, and will take their side in a conversation, even if they're wrong, though this can often be his downfall in conversations, and can often give the impression that he his highly biased. This is probably the one of the only times where he talks excessively, instead of listening and not talking. The other times is where he has to deal with a person that insists on his response in a very abrasive manner. In fact, if things get out of hand, this is the point where he can get violent, probably one of the only, especially if you disrespect his allies. He can take tons of verbal punishment, as much as you could imagine, but insult those he holds dear and he will not be afraid to strike you down.
When he does finally decide to fight, he does not like to drag it out longer than necessary. Any opportunity he can use to take advantage of the situation, he will take, striking down his opponents without mercy and without hesitation. He will even cut people's monologues short to take advantage of their sudden weakness. This is only when fighting alone, though. When fighting with his allies, he will wait for orders before acting, even when it would normally be advantageous. Instead, he is patient and silent, like he would normally be. He will take things slow and intentionally, with focus and determination. Finishing a battle isn't as important as trusting his allies.
Likes:

• Intention - He hates spontaneity and acting without any reason. Instead, he much prefers intentional decisions and dedication to those decisions.
  
• Frozen Fruit - Shen has a strange obsession with frozen fruit, which seems to be rather unexplained.
  
• His "Babies" - As he must put a lot of magic into the spirits he uses for Human Possession, he has grown fairly attached to them.
  

Dislikes:

• Spontaneity - As stated before, he very much dislikes acting without thought or reason.
  
• Evil for Evil's Sake - Shen, of course, dislikes evil people, but more than that he despises those who are malicious without reason. At least those who commit crimes for another's sake can be sympathized with, but those who are conscious of their actions and commit evil without reason are unforgivable to Shen.
  
• Insects - He's not afraid of them, but they disgust him to the nth degree.
  

Motivations:

• Salvation - Oftentimes, the jobs he takes is dependent on the problems he is solving. He will often aim to save those involved. Whether that be the evil spirit he's exorcising, or the evil people he is bringing to justice.
  
• His Allies - He is deeply attached to the friends and allies he makes, and as such they will motivate him to take risks, to take action.
  
• The final motivation can't really be described with one word, it's more of a feeling. It's the catharsis you get when you help another person. He enjoys every moment he can make another person smile, and will often go out of his way to do so.
  

Fears:

• Losing His Friends - A little cliche, but it applies very well. He will do anything to make sure he never loses those close to him, and would rather die than lose a friend. This makes goodbyes very good, and so he often keeps in correspondence with old clients, just so he can keep in contact.
  
• Getting His Picture Taken - He has quite the strange aversion to getting a picture of him. He will often cover his face and protest very strongly if you attempt to do so with his knowledge.
  
• Wolves - Another interesting fear he has is of wolves. He hasn't explained it, but many believe it to be connected to his past.

Appearance: Shen is a large man with a stocky build. He is blocky, but that only gives the impression of a strong, dependable person. His clothing consists of what appears to be a priest's jacket with a doctor's jacket over top, as well as a string of giant wooden Buddhist prayer beads on his right wrist and a metal cross on a metal chain on his left wrist.

Tattoo: It is a slightly altered Lamia Scale tattoo, with the Lamia's body facing the viewer, head pointed upward, it's tail pointed downward and arms spread wide. It's the standard green.
