Personality: Amaryllis always acts polite towards others; however, it never means that she respects them nor likes them. When she has given her trust and respect for someone she is more relaxed and upfront with them freely expressing her opinions and offering advice. She takes a role of a mother or older sister-like role with those she cares deeply in a non-romantic way. She prides herself on being the one people can turn towards for help which can lead to unneeded anxiety when left in the dark. It is rare that she will allow others to take care of her and will keep her personal concerns and inner turmoil to herself as she places the well-being of others above her own. She will never cry in front of others feeling that she doesn’t deserve to feel weak similar to admitting her issues aloud to others. Should she ever cry in front of someone it usually marks them as someone she trusts with her life or someone she deeply loves. Amaryllis will hate with a silent passion and can be quite cunning with her revenge as she seeks a need to get even. She tiers her animosity into three levels: insignificant, impersonal, personal. Impersonal is reserved to those who are naturally jerks and she has come to understand the reasons for their behavior and chooses to accept it; at times she will even be friends with these people though she will never fully open up to them. Personal is granted to those who have wronged her personally or her friends. She will plots and scheme ways to get them back and will always be passive-aggressive with them. For example, she is introduced to a person who had hurt the feelings of one of her friends she will be all smiles while ‘accidently’ stepping on their foot, tripping them and giving them extra strong handshakes.
Amaryllis has an analytically mind leaving her detached at times. She appears to be a loner and will seek out places where she can be left alone though she is very animated and blunt in small groups. She won’t sugar coat the world for the naive and will sometimes allow those to suffer should she feel that it will better them. She holds high expectations for herself and those around her and will become angered at those who don’t take things seriously. Amaryllis will spend more time in her own head mulling over things than reacting which can lead to others believing she is emotionless.
In battle, she will listen to her leader for the most part though at times she will disobey if she doesn’t respect or trust the leader assigned. Amaryllis does her part and is a good worker and tries to be as efficient as possible. As a leader she will get to work understanding the strengths and weaknesses of her team members and will assign positions and tasks based on her evaluations.
