Left the gates to Paradise open

"Okay, i will show you to the spring. Oh before we get there please note this is also the same time the lesser cleaner drakes take their baths so please no not bug the Red one and Gold one, they need to keep an eye out for any of the cleaner drakes in trouble. Other then that i will also get you some robes if needed." Quill leads the two girls to the hot springs and set out some towels for them when they get out to dry off."Okay, if you need anything just call me I need to go to my study and update one some stuff and work on some research." He then walks back inside and into his study to right an update on Lilly, it was mostly on how she behaves around new people and it was pretty well it also included some of the information on how she also behave to people she already knows of when around new people. He then started to work on some designs for something new that Quill has been working on the side.

Leona followed Amaryllis to the hot springs. She disrobed behind closed doors and emerged wearing only a towel. Her companion did not have such a tendency towards modesty. To each their own.

Leona slipped into the hot springs. She had been in the Silver Wolf hot springs enough that the temperature did not bother her. Besides, growing up in Deseirto tended to alter one's perspective on heat. What was uncomfortable to normal people was nothing to the blonde.

"Yeah, Amaryllis. I'm interested in finding out how you got here." Leona affirmed to Amaryllis. The dark-haired girl was interesting. Leona was also interested in making contacts with mages from other Legal and Independent Guilds. She preferred to make contact in situations that were not life-threatening. A social situation like this was perfect.

After Quill was finished with some of his research for the night he want to check up on the girls,"How are you girls doing? Is the water is okay, do you need anything? I am just checking since you are my guess." Quill normally checks in with his guess since he doesn't want to come off as a bad host, he did went in to join them be was wearing a swim wear. For him, it was normal to bath with men and woman at all ages, Drachma was not like most other lands since no one really cares who you see. He then said,"I always love Paradise's nights, they never have light pollution, they always shine like diamonds and never seem to draw me away from them, sorry if you feel uncomfortable with me here, its just that the cleaner drakes are used to me being here at this time." The cleaner drakes starts to go into the hot springs to relax and play, causing the hot spring to will up with soap like bubbles.

Leona listened to Amaryllis' explanation of what brought her here. It was a sound one, but it devolved into technical stuff near the end, technical stuff Leona had no background in. The blonde had no idea what a "time stream" was. She had only a little more idea what a portal was. All Leona knew was that Quill could create a portal to Paradise and that the portals led to interesting encounters.

"Since I asked what brought you here, it's only fair that I give my story." Leona replied.

"I was traveling through the area when I spotted the portal. I didn't have a goal in mind. I just happened to come through here and a portal was open. I stepped through and here I am." Leona summed up how she got here.

"Sorry that it wasn't as exciting or as scientific as your story." She apologized to her dark-haired companion.

"It is fine, Lilly was the same way when she first awoken. Uh, make me remember my Grandpa, may his soul fight on in the afterlife. Anyway, i am going to head off to bed now, do you want me to show you where your rooms are." If they say yes, Quill will show them to the guess rooms which looked very nice for a room rarely used. He would then go to his room and fall asleep, in the morning he would walk up and wake up Lilly who is sleeping still. He would then go to the kitchen to get breakfast started and give Lilly some milk. It was crepes today and Lilly like crepes, he would also make some eggs as well with french toast for himself. The smell if cinnamon and bacon filled the house up with the tasty smell.

"Yeah. Hopefully we can talk in the morning." Leona said to Amaryllis. She too climbed out and covered herself, then strode to the dressing room and put her clothes back on. She did not feel like going inside just yet, so she walked around the property. It was a nice and well-maintained property. Even the hedges were neatly trimmed.

Leona walked around the property for a good hour. She did not know why she was walking. She just did.

It was a bit strange that the girls have not come down to get breakfast yet but that is expected, Quill then turns to Lilly who was eating her Crepes and watching TV, which she was watching a documentary on Drachma's dragons, it was on the snow cap area dragons. Quill then said,"Hey Lilly, I am making another Faux like you but more in the form of Ami. It turns out that I have to increase mass in the model so ya, please don't be mad." Lilly looked at her creator and said,"Please don't program her to do natty stuff." "Lilly you do know she is going to be like you but her personality might not be the same, remember it's like a game of poker, you never know what you are going to get." "Oh ya, i forgot that Faux's can't be 100% programmed. My bad."

Leona woke up the next morning feeling about as good as she was going to get. She realized that she had slept outside... somehow. She took off her desert cloak and sat up. How did she sleep outside? She had no clue.

Leona stood up, shook off the cloak, and packed it away. She really wanted something to eat. She walked inside the house and found Amaryllis, Quill, and Lilly. It looked like a domestic scene from a sitcom. Still, the blonde found it kind of cute, especially the interaction between Quill and Lilly.

"Hey Leona!" Fen greeted her.

"Hey Fen." Leona greeted her pet. Leona looked around. She really wanted something to eat. But what?

"Hey guys, what did I miss?" Leona asked Amaryllis, Quill, and Lilly.

Amaryllis had appeared and had taken a plate off food, both Quill and Lilly say good morning. Ama then added something about hearing more about Quill's inventions,"Well i would have to kill you afterward because most of my stuff are war based and made with stuff that i can not tell you about, also Theia has returned my Key to me so if you like we can send you back to the rose garden after breakfast." Quill held up the golden key and added,"But if you like you can come back anytime if you visit the Silver Wolf guildhall, I will give you a whistle that calls Theia, though I need to convince her to first give me one before that."

Leona blinked. Things were getting tense in the kitchen. Fortunately Amaryllis quickly defused it. Leona really did not want a brawl in Paradise. She wanted a day where no fights flared up.

"Hey Leona, where were you last night?" Fen asked her.

"I slept outside." Leona replied to her pet.

"Huh? Why's that?" Fen asked.

"By the time I finished walking around, it was dark outside. I just stayed outside." Leona answered.

"That's kinda weird, but OK!" Fen commented with as much of a smile as a fennec fox could give. Leona frowned. Since when did a magic fennec fox's approval count for anything? It was OK. Fen was a good pet... just a bit inquisitive.

Amaryllis noticed Leona finally and watched her interaction with Fen quietly. "Hello, Leona," she called and gave a small smile. "Before I leave is there anything you'd like to talk about?"

She paused to look at Quill, "I promise not to take up too much more of your time," Amaryllis didn't want to impose upon him much further and would try to keep her conversation quick should Leona wish to further their knowledge of one another.

"Uh, yeah Amaryllis. Actually, there is." Leona stated. She had spaced out for awhile. She was still tired and the ground was not the softest place to sleep. Suddenly the blonde remembered her question.

"What's Fairy Tail like? I mean, what exactly does it do?" Leona asked Amaryllis.

Amaryllis considered the question for a few moments. She remembered the atmosphere of Fairy Tail and the overall energy the place carried when she first stepped into the guild. "Fairy Tail freedom," she stated upon finding the closest word to describe the guild she choose. "The guild itself requires one to maintain its neutral position as the most important rule; however, besides that one is free to do and be what they choose. While I personally may disagree with some of the guild members with darker tendencies I can respect them for being smart about it, should they follow guild rules."

Amaryllis considered it a small act of fate when she walked through the doors of Fairy Tail having wandered in front of the Guild Hall several times in search of her pickpocket. The place worked well for her considering her desire to do as she pleased. Its neutral position allowed her to avoid the guilt one might have from meeting people from more...disreputable backgrounds being associated with a legal guild would bring. Fairy Tail didn't require her to hide where she came from either which was another bonus in her opinion.

"OK, that makes sense." Leona stated in satisfaction. She did not feel like Amaryllis was hiding anything from her. Leona appreciated the honesty from the Fairy Tail member.

"Freedom? That's why I joined up with Silver Wolf. Provided we don't break the law, we can take any job we want, even if it's not guild work." Leona replied. She recalled her conversation with Leila Vergious from what seemed a lifetime ago. Leila herself stated that members were not obligated to do only guild work, something Leona took to heart.

"But I might need to do some guild work soon. I've been busy doing my own thing. You know, fighting the good fight." Leona admitted in embarrassment.

"By your choice of words I would take it your magic is well suited for fighting," Amaryllis carried a note of wistfulness in her tone. She had only gotten into a scrape or two during her travels and had managed to barely escape unharmed due to her ability. "Anyway, I believe as long as something doesn't bother or hinder someone else people should be free to do as they please."

"You're right, Amaryllis. I learned it when I was young, roughly eight years old. I had to because where I come from, bandits won't hesitate to kill kids if given half a chance." Leona replied to Amaryllis. Leona's Wind Strike Magic was meant for fighting. It had been tested over centuries and had helped keep Nebdoui safe... about as safe as one could get in Desierto. She recalled her mother teaching her the magic, albeit with great reluctance. Sophia only relented because of the harsh realities of life in Desierto... enemies would not spare Leona or Leonidas just because they were children at the time.

"I joined an Independent Guild because of what you said. I wanted to be free to do what I wanted without getting bogged down in politics. I wanted to be free to help the little guy without being hindered. Rich people and nobles aren't the only ones who need help. Ordinary people just trying to make it need help too." Leona explained her position. She might not bow to the Magic Council or take their word as holy writ, but she had done nothing to harm them or go against them. She had battled serial killers, slavers, djinns, bandits, and other forces threatening the people of Earthland. That was what Leona did. She used her Independent status to go about helping those who needed help.

Amaryllis let out a small chuckle as she listened to Leona's views. "I have great respect for you then. My main object for joining the guild I did was because I knew it was going to happen regardless and I wanted to get some research done without having to worry about what a legal guild would think."

She stretched out her limbs and glanced outside one of the windows. "It has been amazing getting to know you all and learning more about such an interesting guild," she paused and gestured around the house, "And don't worry I won't mention anything about this place." Amaryllis pulled her cloak on and gathered a couple of her things which had been left laying around. "I'm ready to go when you are."

Leona listened to the Fairy Tail mage swear to keep the secret of this place. Quill would certainly be pleased. Leona was satisfied too. She was also surprised that Amaryllis respected her. No one had ever come out and said that before today.

"Thanks Amaryllis. I appreciate that." Leona said to the dark-haired mage. Even though she was not after recognition, it was a pleasant surprise to find that someone appreciated what she did, even if it was not the most glamorous of ambitions. Leona silently vowed that she would not let it go to her head.

"I'm ready to go as well." Leona said to Amaryllis and Quill. Fen was at her left side. Staying in Paradise had been interesting, but she was ready to move on to new and exciting adventures in Earthland. There was still much to be done to keep Silver Wolf competitive in the world.

"Maybe we'll meet again some day, Amaryllis. I hope we do. It's been interesting talking to you." Leona said to her. Speaking with Amaryllis had been interesting because the dark-haired girl held viewpoints different from Leona's own. While the blonde was a fighter and a doer of deeds, Amaryllis was more of a researcher. Leona should have been one as well, but she found herself fighting more for the common man than she did poring over old books and scrolls. One day she would do something to address that imbalance.

Amaryllis smiled at Leona, "I hope the same as well." She glanced around the place and let out a long sigh. "I do believe; however, I will enjoy returning to my own apartment and my books." She made sure to have gathered all of her things and pulled her cloak around her shoulders. Time to go.
