Quill had just woken up to Shard jumping on him to wake up and feed him, Shard might be a dragon but he still acts like a child/pet. Shard is also Quill's primary and first pet, he was in a hibernation for a while because he was injured badly a while back so he had to travel with Ava and Stormfang for a while, while Shard healed up and recovered. Once Quill had fully woken up he gave the dragon and two drakes there food and made himself some toast, it was a lazy sunny warm day good for a swim or hike. Then he notice something, the forest drakes are looking for something, forest drakes only look for people who has a key to paradise to greet them, but they seem to be coming back from that. Quill wander who that might be.

Poko swayed happily through the forest of Paradise, upon arrival she'd been greeted by a couple of the local forest drakes. Normally she avoided the creatures, allowing them to go about their business in peace, however, this time these ones appeared to be more or less coming to greet her, it was some what of a surprise. The blonde maiden had stroked their scaly face of one, giving it a nice scratch, which it seemed to enjoy, before it turned away heading off somewhere, looking back is if telling her to follow. Well alright then, it's not like I have something better to do and Quill might not even be here right now. Poko thought as she followed her new friend, Zephyr gliding behind her.
It didn't take long till she discovered just where, or in this case who, the drake had been leading her to. Poko's face lit up as she spotted the dark blond boy, "QUUUUIIIIIIILLLLL!" she yelled out in delight, she spread her arms, as if asking for a hug as she began dashing at full speed, her wind magic helping to spur her along even more. Poko approached the boy so quickly, she didn't have time to slow herself down, Zephyr closed his eyes, the impeding collision evident. There were only two possible outcomes, one, Quill moves out the way, leaving Poko to speed past and probably fall flat on her face herself, or the boy didn't move out the way in time and Poko would smash right into him, wrap her arms around him, the force causing them to tumble onto the ground together. Either way it was sure to be a painful experience for the excited young girl.

It was Poko and she was charging at him full speed with her arms out, this lit up Quill's face like a morning sun rise. He prepared for a hug that was coming at him fast, once she had hit it would knock him on his back while hugging his friend," Hey Poko, long time no see, how have you been." Then gave her a bear hug back because Quill haven't seen her in a while and it was getting lonely in paradise.

Poko felt Quill's warmth as they hugged each other, laying on the ground, she really should have come visit sooner, but so much had happened, she just hadn't found the time. "I have soooo much to tell you about!" Poko exclaimed, a huge grin on her face, her eyes practically glowing yellow. Zephyr finally caught up to his human and her friend, nuzzling his way between them to join the hug, making Poko giggle as his mane tickled her face. Poko then sat up, still on top of Quill, her long blonde hair brushing against the ground, due to her small stature. "OH! FIRST! You gotta see something, I got!" Poko used the wind to stand up, she had been wearing the dress Kanojo made her that changed colours, she loved the way it matched her ever changing eyes. The blonde girl then stuck out her left leg towards Quill's face, on her ankle she wore a bright, hot pink mark of a wolf head, "I found a guild! The guild master is so nice, she even took me to the guild hot springs, you should totally come visit some time. It wont be long till I meet the rest of the members and then I'll find a team!" Poko spoke so fast she nearly ran out of air completely, but her eyes were lit up, staring at Quill as she imagined all the possibilities, "Oh.." Poko suddenly looked curious, "What about you? What have you been up to?" Poko asked offering Quill a hand to stand up.

Oh, my partner Shard finally came out of hibernation and woke me up today, you want to meet him?" The small dragon popped his head out side to see what his partner was doing, seeing a new human face in paradise was strange to him.

Poko tilted her head, staring at Shard with curiosity before smiling kindly at him, "Hello there." Poko giggled, she had never seen a creature quite so interesting, she wasn't sure how he would react if she were attempt to pet him. Would he be fine with it, like Stormfang, or attempt to bite her like Ava, or perhaps he'd have his own reaction, instead of risking it, Poko decided it was best to ask first, "Um... Is it okay to pet him? Or..." she queried hesitantly, slowly leaning towards Shard, ready to pat him if Quill gave the okay. Meanwhile Zephyr couldn't care less about being careful, he simply bounded over to the new creature, ready to make a new friend, he brushed his soft fur against Shard's rough skin, it was like a fancy massage to the rabbit-like creature.

Shard felt the small fuzzy animal brush up on him then tried to bite its head off but missed, Shard didn't like anything touching him but his friend Quill, Quill then said," It is not recommended that you touch him because he will bite you and/or kill you with said bite. He doesn't like people or animals touching him, well not right now, he only came out of hibernation just a couple of days ago. Plus he is cranky from waking up so he forces me to wake up to feed him his meal." He wasn't lying, shard was a strange dragon but he was still a dragon how ever you spin it.

Zephyr flew up and away as he was snapped at, staring at into Shard's yellow eyes, with his own purple ones, he just wanted to be friends. The poor familiar was completely disheartened and left to go play with Stormfang instead, at least he appreciate his company. "Ah... Alright." Poko stammered withdrawing the hand that was about to pet the dragon. She was a little sad as well, but she was understanding of the situation, maybe one day Shard would grow to accept her, but for now she would give him his space, besides she could be the same sometimes. "So anything else new in Paradise? Or get up to any shenanigans?" the young girl asked inquisitively, staring up into Quill's orange eyes. Honestly, Poko would be lying if she'd said she didn't miss him, he was her first human friend after all and she wanted to know what he'd been up to in her absence. Her mind swirled with possibilities. Maybe he found the dragon grave. Or maybe he fought another mage. Maybe he'd made another friend like her. Maybe he liked that friend more and didn't need her anymore... Upon that thought, Poko felt like something snapped inside her, making her feel uneasy, what if Quill actually did find someone else and didn't need her anymore? Her face visibly darkened at the thought, but she hopped Quill didn't notice.

Haven't found that fox girl that oracle said i would fall in love with, I am starting to dout that that oracle was even a real one. Might just be wasting time looking for her when she probably isn't even real, i mean i have met cat girls, dog girls, elves, normal girls and demon girls but i have never seen a fox girl yet. The worst part is that Shard doesn't want to be around new people because they either want to touch him or want to keep him for their own greedy wants." Quill started to vent out more stuff about people being greedy and try to steal other things from him, in the past.

Poko was delighted to find that Quill had found the dragon grave as he had set out to do, however, her heart sank as he went on to mention finding this fox-girl. She had no clue that Quill was searching for someone like that, she held herself together, forcing herself to smile, what would happen if he did find this person? Would he suddenly be done with his quest and leave her? Would their friendship die at that point? Poko tried not to think about it, but the thoughts kept swimming in her mind. After her friend had finished venting to her she sighed. "P-perhaps you’re thinking about it too literally." Poko stammered, looking anywhere but at Quill, managing to build up the effort to reply, "Maybe, this ''fox-girl' isn’t literally half fox, maybe she just has the personality of one or something, so the way she behaves would be that of a fox." She smiled, but avoiding looking in Quill’s eyes, she just hoped that her words would help him, "I mean oracles are usually pretty vague and cryptic over the matter." Poko purposely skipped over Shard not liking new people, she didn’t want to think about him not liking her being here for the moment, she would attempt to cross that bridge later.

The way Quill described the oracles words, they definitely did sound quite specific, but then again, they could always mean something that neither of them had even dreamt of. Poko was still feeling a little uneasy about the whole subject, she didn’t want to lose, what she now considered, her best friend. "Oh, well…" truth be told she had missed him a lot, but there was no way she’d ever admit it. "I just sort of found free time, thought I’d drop by, see if you were here and what you’d been up to in my absence." Poko muttered, still unable to look Quill in the eye. "Although, I will admit I did miss my coral bed, nothing is ever quite so comfy." Poko giggled, smiling deviously as she headed off towards the house, she actually did feel rather tired and boy did that bed feel amazing.

" Well you know where your room is, I have to set up a party today, the day of hatching is now appon us and this year it is my turned to let the warriors fine their partners." Quill was talking about the Dragon knight partnership hatching which is a event where the academy that train young warriors and mages to become the next knights that protect Quill's home land, only a select few are able to be called Drago's which are the what these warriors and mages are called. Quill was one until he started his journey, he still it but a free roaming one. He will be getting a batch of very talented potential Drago's, they will enter a two way fast travel portal which will take them to paradise.

Poko's eyes lit up, curious and excited all at once, this hatching party thing sounded fun. Poko was filled with questions, but she didn't want to take up too much of Quill's time so she kept it to just a couple, "What's the hatching? And... am I allowed to come?" Poko looked up at Quill with huge puppy-dog eyes, begging for him to say yes. She wanted to experience whatever was about to happen and learn all she could about Quill's strange ways. Its like this, it is like a wedding, you don't want random or uninvited people coming in ruining it. This is my first hatching where I train my own group of trainees, that means I am seen as a great hero that has been on many adventure and a candidate for a seat to the rank of commander of my own division. Poko's face fell, her eyes turning a grey blue, she was completely disheartened, crushed by the fact she had come here in hopes of seeing Quill, only to be told she wouldn't get to spend time with him. "Alright..." Poko mumbled, "I'll be at the house if you need me for anything..." the young girl turned and headed towards the house, maybe she would just spend the day eating ice-cream or something, sweets usually helped her feel better. Stupid hatching, why was it so important anyway? It sounded like it was just a fun festival, so why shouldn't she be allowed to join? Poko wasn't going to pressure Quill though, she knew it was best to just find something to do herself while she waited for whatever he was going to be doing to be over.

Quill had finally finished setting up the party and had went to his fast travel room, the letter he had gotten to host the hatching said Midhien, so he turn on the portal to there and picked up the group of trainees. There was only 8 of them, 3 guys and 5 girls, they seem to be nobles, all of them but one. It seemed that there was a apprentice with the group, she didn't have a weapon or magic item so she must be a scholar's apprentice, one of the boys asked," So where is our teacher for this evening?" Quill replied," That will be me, Quill Scorchwood." The replied," Your the berserker, you seem weaker then i thought, your probably not even him because you are..." Quill had slammed him into the ground to teach the boy not to talk back to his superiors. Quill looked up while still forcing the boy's head into the ground " So next person to dout me will be kicked out of here and fail the hatching, now this one will not be joining us for the part but tide up like animal with no food."

Poko flopped onto her coral bed, completely bored, she wondered if she should even bother staying here or if she should just leave Paradise for now. It didn't seem like she was wanted around right now, but she had told Quill she'd be here in case she was needed, it would be rude to just leave without letting him know first. Alas there was no way to let him know, not without interrupting the all important hatching party, she pouted to herself.
"Geez, why are you moping around like this? Pathetic." a familiar and annoying voice grumbled. Goddamnit, she hadn't summoned him, what was he doing here? Poko looked up and sure enough before her stood Shisa, a proud tiny lion-like creature, one of her guardians she was hoping to show off to Quill today. Although, he was by far the most annoying one she had summoned so far. "Shisa, what are you doing here?" Poko sighed, a little annoyed at him for appearing on his own.
"Did you forget? We can feel your feelings even when we're not in the same realm and here you are making us feel all your damn mood swings." He complained, crossing his arms angrily. He then looked around himself, "Where are we anyway? This isn't the normal world you summon us to, but I could still travel here without it costing you a ton of your magical power, strange."

Once he was done talking to them they split up into their social group, the guys all knew each other two girls pairs of girls talked while drinking, and the last girl wandered off somewhere. Quill went inside for a bit and went to Poko's room, he had saw the tiny lion thing. Quill then picked it up and crushed it with a hug," OH MY LORD YOU ARE ADORABLE AS HECK, Poko is he a summon or something?"

"AHHHHH! GET OFF ME YOU APE!" Shisa roared, in his adorable voice, squirming and trying to escape Quill's clutches. Poko stiffled her laughter, trying to contain it, seeing Shisa unable to get away was the best thing since she first summoned him. She wiped a tear from her eye, her sadness melting away. "Um, yea, he's a guardian of stars, I can only summon a couple of them at the moment, but once I get stronger I'll be able to summon more of them." Poko smiled at Quill, she was still upset she couldn't join the festivities of the hatching, but at least he had made an effort to come visit her. "Oh! Turns out Zephyr is technically one as well, he supposedly has been guarding me this entire time." Poko smiled thinking of all the times he had looked out for her over the years, before looking around, "Speaking of which, I haven't seen him for a while..." Poko mumbled, in fact last time she saw him he was still playing with Stormfang.

"LEO!?! That mush for brains is nothing but a constellation! I am far from his lesser! Get your facts straight!" Shisa squirmed trying to escape still, ultimately giving up, anger firmly plastered on his face. Poko giggled, "It's true the do have some similarities, but for the most part they are completely different from the constellations. Their power comes from the first star, or so I'm told, who grants them power and allows me to call upon them." Truth be told, Poko only knew some facts about them from what she'd read in the golden book, she hadn't gotten through all of it yet, and she'd left it back in her dorm at Silver Wolf headquarters. Poko's eyes lit up as Quill mentioned she could join in the party, getting up instantly and hugging Quill, luckily she was short enough she didn't squish Shisa too much. "I understand, I will leave when the hatching is about to start!" Poko declared, "I'll summon Yuuto before I forget, he's adorable, much nicer than that fluffball." Poko muttered signalling in Shisa's direction, "HEY I HEARD THAT! THAT BAT AINT GOT NOTHING ON ME!"
Poko giggled before closing her eyes telepathically linking with Yuuto and summoning him. With a puff of turquoise smoke, Yuuto appeared, he had a combination of both cat and bat like features, while his body was coated in short white fur and his face was cat like, instead of two forelegs he had two large furry wings for flying and his hind legs were rather short, like that of a bat. Poko giggled before closing her eyes telepathically linking with Yuuto and summoning him. With a puff of turquoise smoke, Yuuto appeared, he had a combination of both cat and bat like features, while his body was coated in short white fur and his face was cat like, instead of two forelegs he had two large furry wings for flying and his hind legs were rather short, like that of a bat. Quill's eyes lit up so much you could actually see fire in his eyes, he touched the cat bat thing and it was so soft that it felt like a cloud. Quill the stopped and said," Poko I could let you watch but there are only 2 ways that can happen, one we marry which will give you access to my lands magic and you will be part of my people or 2 you become my apprentice, but i am way to young to have one so that is off the table and I haven't build that kind of relationship with you, so i shouldn't even have brought it up. Now then shall we join the party?" Quill wanted Poko to join him in the party since she is his only friend that he has.

Yuuto was a bit hesitant about being touched by a stranger, but Poko had assured him it was alright, so he allowed it. Shisa was mumbling something in audible to himself, still angry evidently. Poko's eyes turned hot pink, her face matching as she blushed profusely as Quill mentioned 'wife'. "I-It's fine, I'm cool with not watching." Poko stuttered, trying hide her embarrassment. It's not that the she was completely against it, but she knew that it wasn't right for either of them to do something just so she could watch some ceremony. Besides, Quill would one day find his fluffy-tailed fox-eared lady and the last thing she wanted to do was stop him from being with her, even if it meant Quill forgot about her, she just wanted him to be happy.
Shisa suddenly stopped mumbling a devious look appearing on his face, "Married?" He started, a grin spreading on his face, "I see, so this brute is your boyfriend, wow Poko you could have done so much better." Poko's eyes flashed a little red, her embarrassment was still evident, "Damnit Shisa, weren't you listening, Quill just said we don't have that sort of relationship a-and even if we did, he's not a brute and you shouldn't go around insulting him!" Poko glowered, she would have thrown something at him, but Quill was still holding onto him and she didn't wan't to accidentally miss and hit him instead. Shisa simply chuckled to himself, he simply loved stirring up the young girl. Poko glanced away, hoping Quill hadn't noticed her blushing face, "L-lets go to the party, shall we." She muttered, honestly just wanting to forget about this whole conversation.

Quill had made a very strange snack bar, there were chocolates shape like beetles, chips that smell like roasted scorpion, and a drink that looked like it was boiling and purple but it seemed to be fine for his guess.
