"The sky tower..."
The words left the man's lips in a snaky matter as he looked at the tower in front of him. This was a new sight indeed, a whole new sight. All he'd seen so far opposed to his normal sandy village was the giant turtle his guild hall rested on, and that paled in comparison to this magnificent tower.
He wasn't here for sight seeing or anything leisure-wise today. The wonderful soft breeze would have to wait, as he was here on business. This business was, as he considered it, "half a job." There was no formal request for this, just his guild master saying there was going to be something interesting happening at this location, and that Jakob, of all people, should go check it out. So the man left, and now here he was, marveling over the craftsmanship of the architecture.
"Another should come soon..." Jakob said with his thoughts exceeding his head, leaving his lips and escaping into the world. His master did in fact say another would be here, on a similar task. A mage from a legal guild, the more famous Fairy Tail. This instantly brought detest to come to the eyes of the Sand Mage, as everyone who has spent time with Jakob, as little that number may be, knows that he hates the government. The Magic Council were no more than tyrants - and not the Ancient Greek "good tyrants." They were those who didn't let the people control themselves, they made the decisions for the people because the people weren't "adequate enough." Jakob wanted to still take this task, however, because he thought this might give him insight on the legal guilds, those that followed the Magic Council.
The man opened his small pouch that rested on his side, and emptied the sand out onto the ground. Slowly, the sand crept it's way up his skin until it covered every part of his external body, so precise in fact that it even got the top of Jakob's head without disturbing his hair. This was, in fact, like a "second skin." His primary defense towards direct hits. Then, he freely controlled the sand to start eating away at the ground, leaving himself ready for an attack from any enemies.
"Wether you approach in silence because you're trying to sneak on me or if you were just that silent doesn't concern me, but know I do know of your presence." Jakob felt a magical presence advancing towards his location, so he said that. Jakob actually couldn't hear anything, but he knew that someone was coming. Be it his partner or not it didn't matter, this person was actually a bit stronger than he, and this brought Jakob's eyes to narrow further. Fairy Tail sends a stronger mage to perform a task like a job with someone from a technical legal guild. This can be no coincidence... The man thought to himself as he watched the other approach, however slow or fast that speed may be.
