Personality:
Outside of battle
Poko is very quiet and reserved when first meeting people due to shyness. This is due to her eyes changing colour with strong emotions and being teased for it as a young child by other children. Poko tries desperately to avoid feelings in general when possible as so not to freak people out. However, this often leads to her coming across as cold and heartless to those that don’t know her. This apathetic attitude makes it difficult for her to make friends.
Poko zones out a lot during conversations. She sometimes appears to be lost in her own world as she is quite imaginative and creates little scenarios within her mind that she finds more interesting than that happening around her. However, this doesn’t mean she’s not realistic. She will often say things in a ‘matter of fact’ tone and call people idiots when necessary. These blunt comments towards people make her seem uptight. Poko is pretty resilient when it comes to others insulting her, except where her height is mentioned. The single mention of a short ‘joke’ will send her into a temper tantrum where she might even lash out physically and causing her eyes to flash and orangey-red.
Poko’s definitely not the forgiving kind and it will take a lot to make up for any past wrong-doings towards her. She will often be hostile to those she dislikes.
Given the chance to get to know someone and become close friends, she is more than willing to open up. Eventually she becomes an open book, allowing her eyes to flicker between emotional colours with no restraint unless she’s trying to hide something. She cares deeply for those she considers friends, even for Xiolan, the Fallen Angel, bound to her family for all eternity. She hates seeing those she cares for getting hurt and would do everything in her power to ensure they’re happy, even at the cost of her own happiness. This selfless reasoning often results in her hiding her true feelings behind a mask.
Prefers to take on missions that require minimal fighting as she feels she is far weaker than other mages, often underestimating herself and her abilities. When tagging along on other’s missions she will always be cautious of her surroundings and ensure the team’s safety.
In Battle
As soon as Poko steps up to fight, she blocks out all distractions from her mind, becoming cold and calculated towards her enemies. She is very clever and cunning, often finding ways to outsmart her opponents rather than beat them with brute force knowing where her strengths and weaknesses lie before she even begins.
Poko’s not afraid to push herself to her limits in order to protect those she considers friends. She would rather sacrifice herself than see a comrade fall in battle. As her magic is mostly support based, she will position herself so that she is behind her companions where possible. This positioning combined with her observation abilities allow her to access each situation carefully before making her move.
Likes:
Sweets – Is a complete sucker for anything sweet, easily lured into traps because of it.
Cats – So graceful, clean and cuddly, everything you could want in a pet.
Forests – Loves to explore places, especially forests, there’s just something about how the wind rustles that intrigues and soothes her.
Solitude – Finds it difficult to communicate with people, preferring to keep to herself when possible. However, that’s not to say she dislikes spending quality time with close friends.
Hot Springs - This young lady just can't get enough of them, they're just so amazingly relaxing.
Dislikes:
Short Jokes – or just general comments about her height, they tend to irk her eventually causing her to lose her temper.
Dogs – Not so much dislike as incredibly scared of them after being ‘attacked’(it knocked her over while trying to play) by a large dog as a young child.
Loud, Obnoxious people – Those idiots that just don’t shut up, often disrupting her thoughts.
Motivations:
Curiosity – Poko is very curious and wants to learn as much as possible about the different kinds of magic in the world.
Friends – Poko fights for those she cares about and will always stand up for them.
Atonement – Poko’s done some terrible things in her past that she keeps well hidden from others, but she hopes by doing the right thing she can atone for these misconducts.
Hot Springs - That's right, it's Poko's dream to visit every known hot spring she can, she can't get enough of them.
Fears:
Dogs – Reason she dislikes them so much is due to being scared of them after being ‘attacked’ by one as a child. However, she's trying to work through this issue as much as possible.
Rejection/Being abandoned – While she tends to be a loner, once she gets close to someone she is even more afraid of them leaving her.
Thunder/lightning – Gets incredibly spooked out during storms and can often be found cowering and curled up in a ball.

Normally a pale blue, but with extreme emotion they change.

Fair skinned that burns easily in the sun.
Appearance:
Slim build with hourglass figure, which she hates due to the unwanted attention and therefore tries (and fails) to cover up by wearing large sweatshirts. She prefers shorts with knee length socks and combat boots over long pants as she feels they’re less restrictive with movement and allow her to feel the air around her better. She will occasionally wear dresses during special events or when forced to by others. Doesn’t have any real preference over colours and tends to look a little weird when she wears mismatching clothes.
