Lucius's shut-in over the months have raised concerns for fellow guild members in Lamia Scale, to the point that one decided to bash in through Lucius's door, revealing a massive amount of notes all over his room, but in the center is a clear circle with Lucius doing push-ups, he's half-naked with black pants on, it seems a purple gravity circle is on the ceiling, pushing gravity down on Lucius, it appears he's doing training. He didn't even notice the woman that broke into his room until he looked her way, Lucius stood up and instantly cancelled his magic circle, looking to her and saying "Is there a problem?" the woman looks like she was fully blushed, seeing Lucius's built body, she ran away and Lucius shaked his head. "Odd..." he continued his training for a while, until someone eventually told him that he had to start doing jobs for Lamia Scale again... despite Lucius's usual behavior of usually not accepting them, he had an unorthodox eagerness to do a job after receiving this news.

He was told of the mission details, that a certain mage who's confirmed age is 7 has as much power as a A-ranked mage, this wasn't only a perfect time to test out Lucius's new powers that he gained through training, but to examine the mystery behind such an peculiar girl. Lucius was told that his teammate for the mission is Samira Nassar, he told them that he'll meet her either on the way to the haunted village or at the actual haunted village. He already packed most of his necessities for the journey and didn't waste any time, already traveling on his way to the haunted village, apparently the village is deep within Darkwood, a certain section of a forest where the wood is unusually... well, dark as the name suggests. He started to drift his thoughts about Samira, wondering how far more powerful she got over the months and whether or not she'll actually remember Lucius. It seems the Sage of Wisdom Spirit had to butt into his thoughts. "Oh my... a little crush?" Lucius shaked his head, chuckling. "You know it's not like that, besides I'm not that attractive. I'm just curious is all... summoner magic has always piqued my interest."

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Samira Nassar 2nd November 2017, 12:35 am

    Job Info:

Samira had been doing her own form of training, although it was quite different than using her powers as a summoner. No, hers was the more physical aspect. It was her main weakness that needed to be developed. She had high levels of endurance naturally for some reason, but she may as well have given up the dream of being able to snap a twig. Exaggeration perhaps, but the point remained the same. Her physical strength was lacking as were her abilities to control body movement. At least she was better than she had been before. She could now hit a few targets in quick succession with a bow when compared to the slow concentrated shot she was barely able to do before. Her movement was also smoother and quicker to handle any enemies that got past her spirits and made it to her, but it was still no where near where it needed to be. With the amount of magical power she now had, she was expected to take on tougher enemies. Anhur had been helping her train a bit, keeping what she had already learned in mind while incorporating what he thought she needed to learn into the regimen. It certainly couldn't hurt to know more tactics.

'Good grief, I am getting exhausted watching Anhur turn her into some kind of combat machine. Someone change the channel!'

"I can hear you," Samira stated, now getting distracted from Susano's voice talking in her mind. It left with her tripping over herself while practicing some moves with Anhur. She fell backwards, landing on her back on the ground. "Owww," she winced as she lied there for a moment.

'Rule number one, Samira, don't get distracted. Even if it's me.' Somehow the summoner could picture a rather devilish smirk on the wind spirit's face even though he was no where in sight. "As annoying as I find that wind abomination, he has a point," Anhur, the two legged lion half spirit commented bluntly as he stood there, waiting for Samira to get up to continue and offering absolutely no assistance whatsoever. The summoner continued lying there and made no reply. They were right, so why bother? It also helped she was not argumentative anyway.

"SAAAMMMIIIRRRAAA!" A shout was heard from off in the distance, causing Samira's green gaze to shift in that direction before sitting up. It was a boy she had seen before in the guild hall; a fellow member of Lamia Scale. He ran up to where she was, panting and breathing heavily from his run all the way to her current location. "Yes?" Her eyes blinked as she stared up at him, curious as to what he wanted. She had been made one of the Aces within the guild, but as far as she knew there were no responsibilities she had to do that day. Did something urgent come up that needed the guild's help? "This...is...for you..." The boy said between breaths and handed her a folded up letter. She allowed him to leave and rest up while she unfolded the paper and began to read over it.

"Hmmm, what is it?" Anhur asked, actually bothering to care, but that was likely mainly due to the interruption than caring curiosity.

"A request that I help a guild member complete a job. He has been shut in for many months apparently, and other members are demanding he take one for his own good. We did one together at one point so they thought I was the best choice to help. Although, that was quite some time ago..." If she remembered correctly the last time she even saw Lucius was so far back she had only just met Kaori as well. It wasn't entirely his fault though. She could have checked up on him from time to time to keep in touch, but she had been so busy, and many events that got her to her point of power and position had happened.

'Oh, so we're meeting an old buddy? And here I thought the only friends you had were us and ninja girl. Surprises!'

    'I do not like him.'

'You don't like anybody! Your opinion is trash. He any good at fighting? Keep in mind the expectation bar has been set really high due to Kaori and Co.'

'He was decent enough back then. Can't really say much about the guy considering Samira was on the weak side too. I...assume he got stronger?'

    'Wonderful...'

Ignoring the conversation playing in her head between the spirits, Samira stood up and proceeded to head back to the guild. Her first task was to find Lucius and get with him and discuss the mission, but it turned out he had already left. Wonderful was right. Now she would have to play catch up. Next on the agenda was getting changed into a clean set of clothes while also packing her back with her own necessities. Keys? Check. Weapons? Check. Random other junk? Check. Now she just needed to get there. She could have probably checked to see if the White Mermaid was docked at the port given she had been given permission to use Kaori's ship in the past, but she also didn't like the idea of just taking off in it without letting her know ahead of time. Kaori may have needed it for something. Then a smirk crossed her face. She knew what she could do.

"No," Anhur replied a bit later on when Samira found him lounging around outside the guild hall. She had requested he be used as a means of flight travel. He had planned on staying while she went to do the mission, and not to mention he had heard she often got sick when riding animal based transportation. He did not wish to have that kind of mess on his fur. The summoner had then smiled and said please. That warranted another no, the cutesy smile completely going over his head. Then it came. The key that controlled him was removed form her keychain and the order had been given as she held it out in front of her. "Anhur, Avatar of the Slayer of Enemies, I command you to access your Sun Form and be used as transportation." The creature could only roll his eyes as the order was given and a shooting migraine surged through his skull. It would not stop until he actually did what was asked of him. A shame really. Now that Samira had gone through that sort of effort he would ensure it would be the most horrible ride imaginable. He transformed himself into a winged lion that emanated sun-like flames from his fur. Naturally it would be safe for her to get on or else it would have been pointless to use him in such a manner. "Thank you," Samira said with a victory smile as soon as she hopped onto his back. His response came in the form of a growl as he took of in rapid speed, spread his wings out, and then took to the air. The speed increased, and he was not at all gentle. He even had to throw in some maneuvers that would have been better on a safer theme park ride. Several times she had fallen off only for him to catch her before she hit the ground. His fun and revenge came to an end as soon as she was able to command him to stop that madness. The ride was gentle the rest of the way.

A few moments later Samira had spotted someone that looked like Lucius, or at least what she could remember. The eye was a giveaway as was his face, but those features were hard to see from where she was. "I think that is him. Land, Anhur." The spirit creature did so, making a rather rapid descent that made Samira's stomach churn once they hit the ground right in front of the path Lucius had been walking. Anhur threw her off his back, where she landed on her butt with a sounded "oof" from the collision between herself and the ground. Not really a good first impression after several months. She looked up at Lucius from her landing position and raised her hand in a small wave with a sheepish smile. "Forgive the sudden arrival. I assume you remember me?"

"IIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! (Translation: NOOOOOOOO!)" the shrill scream of horror erupted from Kaori's room aboard the surveillance and reconnaissance craft, Recon-One. While on the Ark of Destiny, not a single person would've heard that even with a stethoscope to Kaori's door due to the sound cancelling lacrima in the walls, everyone on the residency floor of Recon-One heard it loud and clear. Ikuchi flew through the halls and kicked down the door with his katana fully formed, ready to behead anyone who could- oh wait, they were over fifty thousand feet in the air. The thought crossed Ikuchi's mind and he lowered his weapon while looking around the room to find Kaori sitting on her bed with tears in her eyes. Her eyes had magically turned into white circles and her mouth had become a weird squiggly line set just below crimson cheeks. "Mast- Kaori..." he corrected himself quickly, remembering what happened the last time he called her 'master' instead of her real name. "Are... you okay?" he asked, questioning how she contorted her mouth to such an odd visage. "They... they found out... How did they find out?" she said in a trans-like state accompanied by a despair filled tone. "What did they find out...?" The dragon man intelligently asked while spotting a book held in his master's hands. He walked over and tried to grab it to look, but Kaori screamed "NO!" and slammed him on the top of the skull with the spine of the book. Steam began leaking from his head and Ikuchi went limp, falling like a limp noodle to the floor before assuming the "face down, ass up" position. After a few seconds, he shot up screaming "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" and pausing his anger as Kaori was huddled against the wall with the book being held protectively like that trinket from "Lord of the Slings" when the weird goblin thing had it. "No one must see it... no one..." she said, which let Ikuchi know his master had gone off the deep end from whatever power lay within the tome. A sweat drop creeping down the back of his neck, he slowly moved out the room and closed the door behind him.

"Sir, I need to see the captain." a masculine voice stated behind him, causing Ikuchi to turn so his back was facing the door. "The captain is currently busy with personal matters. What business have you?" he asked, keeping his composure as best he could. "The Captains fiance has undertaken a mission and is enroute. I was wanting to alert the captain since she normally accompanies her as support." Ikuchi paused as a set of dots appeared in his mind at opposing ends, with smaller dots forming to connect them. "Samira Nassar is not the captain's fiance... yet... I digress, what mission was taken?" Ikuchi's tone had gone from informative to composed quickly upon deciding that ultimately the crew will consider her and Samira to be whatever they want. "Well, there's some kid who's supposedly 7 years old and has some magic that she used to kill a bunch of people. The Magic Council had ordered the capture of the child for reasons that are undisclosed. A man named 'Lucius Octavio' was voluntold to take the mission and the Captain's girlfriend was "requested" to accompany him." Ikuchi had crossed his arms over his chest and closed his eyes while thinking on the situation. "I don't like it." Ikuchi said, being oh-so-specific on the matter. "The Captain will be remaining on the ship while she sorts out her current issues. I'd like you to get in touch with Eclipse Team on the Ark of Destiny. Their primary objective is the safety of Samira Nassar, secondary objective is the safe apprehension of the child and escort to the Ark of Destiny. The tertiary and least important objective is the safety of the third wheel who I'm sure Samira wall prioritize safety for. I want the child's final destination rerouted to the Ark of Destiny so we can study her powers and- more importantly, ensure she's not turned into a lab rat." A female voice played over Recon-One's speakers in the voice of the ship's AI, Artemis. "A message has been relayed to Eclipse Team and they've been instructed to debreif Mister Octavius of his new instructions."

    On the Ark of Destiny

A blonde haired woman sitting at a terminal had called over to a man with a thousand mile look saying "Hey, we've got orders from the Captain. We're being deployed in fifteen!" to which the man replied "Not possible, goddamn bird faced mother fucker roasted our drop pod and the new one don't have the atmospheric shielding installed yet." Bill called from over by the weapon racks. "I'm able to provide transportation. It'd also give me an opportunity to get Samira's autograph." a gentle, but mature voice called from the middle of the room. The person attached to it was holding a book that had a sleeve over it to hide the cover. Ghost looked at the spirit and paused "..." then he said "Alright, drop your socks and grab your cocks- that includes you eagle." in a commanding voice, referring to the blonde girl as 'Eagle' while he was grabbing his gun. The team suited up and checked their guns to make sure they weren't jammed, they never were but it was better to be safe than sorry. The team assembled with Shadow, Eagle, and Tango in the back in that order. Bill and Ghost were up front and they looked at Query while keeping their weapons at port arms. Query moved to the front between Bill and Ghost, turning her back to them and forming a magic circle around everyone. "Is everyone ready?" she asked calmly, to which Ghost acknowledged. "If anyone needs to use the restroom please say so now, this is a no-stop transport straight down." she said, joking of course... "Please keep your hands, legs, and other extremities inside the magic circle at all times. In the event of being merged with a nearby object, please notify your nearest flight attendant (there were none) and you'll be put out of your misery as quickly as possible." While it was rare for Query to tell jokes, she was about to get a book signed so she was in a good mood.

A silver magic circle would appear near Samira and Lucius before several dust particles came together to form the five members of Eclipse and Query standing in front them. Ghost had stepped forward and walked up to Samira. "Miss Nassar, it's good to see you again." he started, extending his hand to shake hers with the assault rifle dangling from his chest armor. "We've been assigned to you as security escort and VIP defense." after his short interaction with Samira, he turned to Lucius. The profile for the man pulling up on the HUD on the inside of Ghosts's helmet with his name, age, height, weight, and guild longevity- but nothing in depth beyond that. "Mister Octavius." he said while extending his hand to the man with a jacked up face. "Name's Ghost, leader of Eclipse Team. Your mission's been altered slightly, courtesy of a representative of the Magic Council. The child is to be captured alive, with as few injuries as humanly possible and delivered to the orbital war ship- Designation: Ark of Destiny. Back there's Shadows and Tango, our infiltration specialists." the two guys with sub-machine guns raised their hand and said 'Sup.' before lower them. "...the sniper's Eagle..." to which the only person with boobs on their armor said 'Yo.' while slightly raising her sniper "...and the geaser's name is Bill." to which the last remaining member rested his MG42 on his shoulder and didn't say a word. Names didn't mean shit when you carried around a .50cal LMG like it was a toothpick, him being normal sized himself only spoke for his muscle strength. "The Captain would've come instead, but she's dealing with something at the moment that we weren't briefed on." Ghost had finished his introduction and stepped aside so Query could approach Samira. Her cheeks were a light shade of pink and she held the open book to the first page, which only had the title "Celestial Ninja - Volume 1" and under that "Author: Unknown Pencil" Query had gave Samira a pen and requested her autograph with a very adorable expression. "You and our summoner have gained quite the reputation in the past couple days Samira. Perhaps one of your spirits can lend you a copy?" Query said as soon as the book was signed, then she vanished.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Lucius Octavio 2nd November 2017, 8:30 pm

Along the way of walking towards Darkwood, Lucius had continued his conversation with the Sage of Wisdom. "I might've been a legendary mage in my time, but I do know a thing or two about the ladies." Lucius shaked his head. "You're still on about that? there's no chance between me and Samira, end of story." even though Lucius couldn't see, he could feel the disappointment from the Sage spirit as he said that. "It's a good thing you're finally getting out though, all that research you've been writing up and training in your room constantly with your gravity magic..." Lucius didn't reply back to him, focusing on the road but it seems he continued to butt in. "Is it so you would be strong enough to impre-" long before the sage spirit could say anything else, it seems that Samira Nassar had landed on the ground roughly, the Sage spirit then let out a whistle, saying "Speak of the devil, here's your chance now champ." Lucius decided to finally speak in his mind to the sage spirit "Seriously, piss off about that."

Lucius then took Samira's waving hand after hearing her sentence, helping her off the ground. "Indeed, just give me a second." suddenly, his eye started to light up on Samira, he put his hand on his face, closely to his artificial eye as it appears he felt a slight pain, putting his hand away as he starting to chuckle. "Glad to see you've gotten stronger, I'm sure you're even stronger then me now." the Sage then could be heard laughing, with him saying "Well, looks like your chances are bus-" it seems that suddenly, Lucius started to block out what the Sage was saying. He was getting awfully tired of his shit. "Though I may have been shut-in for a while, even I heard of your growing reputat-" soon enough, Lucius's taste for conversation had gone sour when suddenly, a magic circle popped out of nowhere and out of it, five people all in similar looking armor appeared along with what appears to be a celestial spirit. "Competition!" the Sage suddenly said in Lucius's head. He didn't know who these people were but listened to what the man in armor said, introducing himself as "Ghost" and it seems they already rushed to Samira's attention. Lucius said "I thought my only partner for this mission is Samira... seems someone got their information wrong at the guild." he shaked his head with clear irritation, but he mostly stepped outside of the conversations that were happening. After being briefed about the sudden mission change, it was rather surprising but he didn't hold much irritation against that since he was interested in how a small aged girl is as powerful as a A-ranked mage, he understands the council's orders to study her.

He preferred to not get involved either, neither to understand who these people were, it seems that he just wanted to get the job done now, after all the exchanges were said and done, Lucius looked over to Samira and said "Sorry to be a party pooper, but can we get this show along the road? we have a job to do." as he started to walk along the path once more, expecting that Samira will come along, in turn will also bring the new, sudden people to this job.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Samira Nassar 3rd November 2017, 1:09 am

"Thank you," Samira said gratefully once she was standing on her feet once more. She had even allowed the rough landing given by her spirit a pass due to being slightly overjoyed that she had not been forgotten after all of that time. It would have been insulting otherwise if not a little depressing for someone like her. The artificial eye he had lit up, probably scanning her as it had done the first time they had met. Back then he had just used it as a small demonstration of its abilities and had correctly guessed what sort of magic she used. Although, if she recalled correctly it had much more power. They never did get a chance to discuss it more even though he had said he'd tell her more about it. Her eventful life got in the way of that, as did his shut in personality. At the time they met she was more or less the same as he was, but now she was much more sociable to some extent.

"Well, I certainly did have some help where my power is concerned," she stated bluntly in a tone that suggested it wasn't modesty that was making her say that. It was just a fact. If certain events had not gone down the way they had she would still be where she was the last time she had encountered Lucius. Her smile had remained, although it was smaller than it had been before and mostly forced. Some part of her wished she had still been on that level if only to prevent some parts of her life story from occurring. Lucius had just been about to finish praising her growing reputation when a large and silver colored magic circle appeared near him and herself. From it five rather familiar figures as well as a spirit materialized. "What on Earthland?" She muttered as her eyes widened and she nearly fell over from the sight. She knew very well that they were all connected to Kaori, and as the one called Ghost approached and mentioned they had been assigned as a security escort and VIP defense her face turned into a 'what the actual hell' expression. "Hu-what?"

'Okay, I admit it. Team Kaori is starting to worry me. You can't even leave town to do some trivial mission without any of them knowing.'

'Do you think they keep tabs on us too? Like, do they know who's on watch duty today and who isn't?'

'Why bother doing that? They probably just read all of our files at the Celestial Therapist Office. They have those kinds of strings what with having Aquarius on their side and all.' The spirits currently in Samira's mind space all got rather blank expressions on their faces and had become completely silent. 'I said probably! Jeez, even I don't think they would go that far. What'd you all say while sitting in that chair anyway?'

Spirit talk aside, Samira did have to agree that sending a whole small team unit to help was a bit much. She could have handled the mission just fine even if she were alone. Maybe. For her pride's sake she would say most definitely. She ignored the full conversation they were having to instead focus on replying to Ghost and not looking like some zoned out fool. "It is nice to see you and your team doing well," the summoner told him as she took his outstretched hand in her own and shook it, and then allowed him to focus on Lucius without her saying anything more to him personally. "Although it would have been nicer if it were under different circumstances. Her thoughts were said aloud and in a low volume, although to no one in particular. She sighed and came to the conclusion that she would just have to have a talk with Kaori about the subject later.

"Hm?" The spirit had approached Samira, causing her to shift her focus from her thoughts and onto the book that was raised towards her. Then she heard the request for an autograph. What? If she had to admit the gesture was a nice stroke to her ego and pride, but at the same time...what? She had not done anything worthy of an autograph request. Samira was no Wizard Saint or Rising Star, and it would be a little weird for a celestial spirit to ask one from a guild Ace. What did the book cover anyway? She gently took hold of the pen and then read the title that was on the first page of the book, then the author. Yep, still had no clue what all of that was supposed to mean. Maybe it was Kaori's biography and the spirit wanted a signature from someone that was mentioned. The blushing was peculiar but perhaps the spirit was just more on the shy side when it came to such requests. Samira smiled and signed it, not really having the heart to decline. Once her doctor styled signature was complete, Query spoke again words that made Samira arch a brow quizzically. Just what was printed on those pages? She felt Agni leave her mindspace as he began his hunt for a copy to sate the curiosity of everyone.

With that out of the way, as well as with all the introductions, it was time to press on and actually get to the mission's location. Although it seemed Lucius had become somewhat irritable. That was understandable considering she was a little annoyed herself, but for slightly different reasons. She would hold no grudges or be cold towards the unit. They were just following orders, and she liked them anyway. "Yes, I suppose we should stop standing around and get going. It would be preferable if we complete this before dark," she said to the unit before turning around and following after Lucius. Then she stopped herself when a certain lion was not beside her. The green gaze shifted until she found him laying beside the trunk of a nearby tree, having completely missed and ignored everything that had gone on. "Excuse me for a moment, I will be behind shortly," she would say to everyone if they were still within earshot.

Samira approached the sleeping lion and placed her hands on her hips while looking as intimidating as she could, which unfortunately looked more cute than scary. "Anhur, we have a job to do." He continued to rest peacefully and ignore her. She then poked him and got a light slap from his wing as a reward that knocked her over. "I was commanded to be transportation; not a combat pet. Go away." The summoner stood up and began to look for his key again. "The notice mentioned some of the information that had already been gathered about the girl. I need you to see through the illu-" As she was talking and about to mention how his powers to see through illusions would have been beneficial, he had taken off in flight, getting away from whatever sort of hellacious and ridiculous demand he would get next. Her facial features formed into a scowl and her cheeks puffed.

'Next time, make the order and THEN explain. You're really long winded even for me as a wind spirit.'

Samira re-joined the group and walked silently until they had reached Darkwood, the supposed location for the Haunted Village. The path they were currently walking went right on it, although it was overgrown and less traveled the farther it went into the woods. There was an old wooden sign beside the entrance to the woods that looked as if at one point it had a real name written upon it. It was faded however and instead had some big letters with the word "Haunted" upon it. Probably some bored teenagers getting into the legend and messing around. The air was also slightly more chilled upon entering the forest and certainly did seem to hold a horror themed atmosphere. It was also strange how even though it had been daylight moments before, it was nighttime while in the actual woods. Well, she supposed it did match its name of Darkwood. Howling could be heard off in the distance as well as some movement from whatever else was hiding among the trees and bushes. Samira wondered if the place really was haunted and had evil spirits floating around. Thus far, nothing major was happening.

    Samira's Mind Space

Watching the various spirits interact through crystaline eyes unclouded by judgement, the Ninja Spirit only known as 'ninja' had a gentle smirk on his face from just how well they all got along. He felt somewhat bad that he was damned to loneliness forever, but he knew that, that curse was what made him so good at what he did. He was completely invisible, his movements didn't make a sound, he had no scent, and he gave off no heat signature... he was a ghost. In all reality, it wasn't that he was dead, but rather, he was never alive... Ninja was a being from myth and legend like all the other beings in the room, but unlike them, he was never given form beyond vague descriptions. His curse was that he couldn't be detected, and right now, as he was flipping a golden coin between his fingers that couldn't be seen or heard, was serving a very grand purpose. His laugh was silent as Serquet mentioned it was only 'possible' that they were being watched, so ignorant of his presence, but so correct at the same time- truly amusing. However, his task wasn't to spy on them, but rather locate a very specific spirit and deliver a message- one who wasn't here. It had also seemed that his time had run up when his invisibility spell ran out of fuel, revealing his form to everyone in the room... They would all see a pale man wearing ninja clothes and a mask to cover his mouth and nose. Sapphire eyes stared at them all without the slightest bit of fear, and the golden coin only continued being flipped over the top of his knuckles... back and forth, and back and forth for several seconds while he let the fact that he was present sink in. They all knew who belonged to Samira and who didn't, and they would know that none of Samira's spirits looked like him. After the fifth second started, the Ninja and his coin erupted into shadows and he was gone without a sound- as though he were never there. He didn't know why he let himself be seen, he could've easily vanished as soon as he felt the spell waning but his more playful side wanted to have a bit of fun. Either way, there was now a spirit who didn't belong to Samira who was in her mind, who knew where her spirits were located and could slip in and out unnoticed for a brief period of time... oh the chaos that would unfold.

    In the Real World

Eclipse team followed behind Samira and Octavius with their weapons ready, except for Eagle since with a sniper rifle the size of her's, aiming and walking while also expecting an accurate shot, was a bit difficult. The speakers to their suits were turned off so their conversation would go unheard.

Eagle: "Hey, anyone else here find it strange that some kid wiped out a guild?"
Tango: "I find it strange that the Magic Council wants her alive."
Ghost: "Captain rerouted the final destination to the Ark of Destiny. It's considered part of Midi, so the Magic Council, the King of Fiore, and the other countries can bitch all they want; they're not getting her."
Tango: "Kay's got balls to give everyone the finger."
Bill: "Not her fault they all gave her that kind of power."
Eagle: "Yeah. Fiore's Magic Council made her a Saint which gave her a lot of power here..."
Bill: "Then there's Pergrande, Minstrel, and Bosco who all can't touch her now."
Shadow: "They can take her nobility back."
Bill: "She's got a War Ship and an army at her back."
Ghost: "Hose it, we're not politicians, we're killers."
Eagle: "Sooooo what do you think we can expect of this kid?"
Ghost: "Nothing Captain hasn't literally thrown at us before."

Sounds were heard coming from all over and Eclipse team quickly rushed to surround Samira and Lucius, pointing their weapons in all directions as the laughter was getting closer. The speakers for their suits came back on with Ghost saying "Eclipse, spot anything?" Despite the laughter getting louder, the bushes didn't brustle at all. A shadow was seen on the floor in the shape of a little girl holding a teddy bear, a crimson smile on the shadows face. It grew longer, moving past Ghost's feet and moving to Eagle who was in the back. The shadow rose from the ground enough to lock itself onto the sniper's ankles and then, Eagle began sinking into the floor. "WEAPONS FREE!" Ghost shouted and began opening fire on the shadow along with the rest of the team. Eagle had been consumed by the shadow entirely as, surprise, bullets don't work on the ground! The shadow retracted back to the little girl who smiled and laughed. "EAGLE!" Bill shouted, beginning to run towards the child but being stopped by Ghost putting his arm across his chest. "Hehe! Come and play with me!" the girl mocked before vanishing. "I'M GONNA GUT THAT LITTLE BITCH!" Bill shouted while trying to push past Ghost, but making no progress

Ghost: "DUDE! We still have the mission."
    Bill: "Fuck the mission! Eagle-!"
Ghost: "Yeah, I get it man. But you go rushing off now, and that little shit's gonna drag you under too. Stick to the mission, Cap's girlfriend seems to attract all the assholes anyway so we'll get our shot."
Bill: "RAAAGGGH!! (Punching a nearby tree and denting the trunk) FUCK!"
Ghost: "Samira, we needa talk about you and all this paranormal shit later. For now let's get the brat... and hopefully Eagle with her."

The squad would switch to moving ahead with Bill left to guard the rear in place of their now missing in action sniper. That, and if he tried going Leroy Jenkins, Ghost would have enough time to stop that shit before he goes FULL Leroy Jenkins and meets the same fate. Upon reaching the now decrepit guild hall, Ghost stopped and looked at the enormous structure. A playground was in the front of it with the swings swinging, the spinning set slowly turning and releasing a soft but high pitches squeak to match the metallic grinding of the swing set. "Eclipse... load the taser rounds, shot first question later." Ghost said while scanning the area, his 'get the fuck out' senses tingling like a jackhammer. He pressed a button on his wrist pad and said "Ghost to Recon-One, I need a high density scan of the area. Identify anything that might be human, specifically an armored human." Moments later a wave of energy covered the area and a copy of the results was sent to Ghost's helmet. He turned to Samira and Lucius and said "Your target's currently located in the fourth floor ball-room. Scan didn't pick up any other signatures, so I can't say if it'll be smooth sailing to her. We'll move ahead and clear out anything alive, Bill's gonna stay with you two and provide cover fire when needed. Mister Octavius... Happy hunting." Ghost, Tango, and Shadow all began charging ahead with their weapons ready and Bill stayed with the other two as stated, reducing the party size to three. While walking, Bill would say "So... Is it true that you and the Captain... Actually, never mind... that book was fiction anyways."

Post by Lucius Octavio 3rd November 2017, 6:17 pm

As they continued to walk into Darkwood he also had started to feel and hear the unusual dark atmosphere, hence the name of the woods. The animalistic howling in the distance, bushes ruffling and the wind picking up it's pace among the group, it was very clear that there was some sort of presence stalking upon the group, if not multiple. The Sage went into Lucius's head once more, saying "Sheesh, talk about scary... it's like that one book you read that time, what was it?" Lucius shaked his head, speaking in his mind. "I don't know the bloody name, I've read so many books now I can't keep my head wrapped around every single one." the Sage then said "What about that one book... Fifty Layers of Shadow, I believe?" Lucius instantly showed a shocked face with widened eyes, but kept it calm around the group he's travelling with. Lucius said back in his mind "That book has adult-material... I never read it, you really are a pervert..."

While Samira and Lucius were travelling up-front, it appears the group is at the back, even though he couldn't hear anything, it does look like they're in conversation somehow. He looked to Samira and asked her "Those weirdos are your friends?" the Sage instantly yelled in his mind "Hey! you only just met them, you shouldn't make such rash judgments." after the sudden yelling, the Sage then said "You pretty much have Samira to talk with now, why not-" before anything else could be said, the sounds that were mentioned before had gotten increasingly louder, along with a following, devilish laugh that sounds like a child. It seems the armored group picked up on this as they surrounded both Lucius and Samira, aiming their weaponry at all directions, he then heard the man known as "Ghost" say Eclipse, it seems that's the name referred to the armored group as a whole. He'll remember that. He then spotted the shadow-looking girl but couldn't get a proper glimpse as the little girl transformed into a shadow, he couldn't catch on the speed of it and it seems to have grabbed the ankles of one of the armored people, the only female in the group, he stood back as he saw the others start firing some sort of light at the ground near where the armored female was getting sinked into the ground.

It seems soon enough, one of the Eclipse members had gotten infuriated from not being able to rescue his comrade, which is understandable. However, a certain sentence had intrigued him. "Cap's girlfriend." he knew that it's a shorter word for captain, so their actual leader isn't here with them? if they were able to get such advanced weaponry, this captain must be somebody. The Sage then said in his mind "Captain's girlfriend, huh? if I'm not mistaken, he's referring to Samira, seems it won't happen after all." Lucius ignored what he said however, as he started to show more of an interest to this "Eclipse" group, it seems they weren't weirdos at all and rather, very unique in their own way. After hearing Ghost ask for a "high density scan" he wondered what he was going to do until he literally felt it, a scan going straight through Lucius as he could see the wave of energy covering the area. Could this captain be someone from Lamia Scale? if they were able to send such technological advancements in such a short time, or a whole party after Lucius's headstart then that would explain it, but who at Lamia Scale would have access to such technological advancements?

Lucius guessed all would be revealed later on as it seems three of the Eclipse group had started go on ahead, informing Lucius and Samira about the signature on the fourth floor of a ball-room. He wasn't even paying proper attention to the guild hall before as he finally noticed the poor nature of the guild hall they were currently in. "So... this is the guild she destroyed huh? what a loss of life." he said, as he's now travelling with Bill and Samira. He started to walk along with Bill and Samira as Bill mentioned some book about Samira and the captain, which confirmed that sentence. Lucius decided to continue the conversation between him and Samira, saying "Oh, congratulations. Who's the lucky man?" being friendly about it, but also curious to hear who the leader is of such weaponry. Soon enough however, they walked across a large hallway with large windows covering a good chunk of the walls from both sides, some of the windows were cracked while some of them were entirely broken, it could be suggested that the hallway was once more exquisite and beautiful but no longer, it seems. As Lucius started to continue walking down the hallway a lens flare had caught Lucius's eye, making him look out the window to see an overwhelming number of spears headed right for the windows from both sides.

Lucius instantly rushed to where Bill and Samira were, putting both of his hands to the air and summoning a large purple circle above them, but it appears it's aimed for the ceiling. Lucius says "Gravity Well!" and gravity starts to push towards the ceiling, as soon as the spears started to go through the windows, piercing any glass that were in the way, any that got near the group or were above them were instantly sent up to the ceiling, keeping it hold there. Lucius kept his focus on the gravity well so he doesn't let go of the spears that are sent up to the ceiling, so they can wait until the spears stop coming through and it's safe to come back out.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Samira Nassar 3rd November 2017, 9:30 pm

    Samira's Mind Space:

The spirits currently dwelling within Samira's mind and viewing the progress of their summoner's mission were completely unaware of their surprise visitor. Soon after Serqet had made her comment about their files being read and how it was unlikely that was even true, they had calmed slightly. However, it only lasted a few short moments. As they had just started to get off the idea of needing tin foil hats to keep the Kaori satellite signals from entering, an unknown spirit popped out of no where and in such a way that one would assume he had been there for who knew how long. He appeared to have no fear or panic over being out of his hidden form, although it wasn't as if he needed any sort of bravery. All spirits in the room were stunned and speechless at the random appearance, for more reasons than one. Their eyes had all gone blank and turned white, and their mouths went wide. Symbols consisting of ?! also appeared above each head, because in the celestial world anything is possible, including random grammar signs materializing. Not a single spirit currently present could make a move to defend the mind space. How were they to expect such an intrusion? It was their summoner's mind! A place only they should have been able to access in such a way! Even after the strange spirit had left they were all still standing there, looking like complete morons. Kali had been the first to recover, and the first to pretend she had completely expected such a thing to occur and be un-phased by it. 'Close your mouths, you idiots! You are all getting your drool on the floor.'

'Huh, I was right. Sort of. I didn't actually expect them to be so direct.' The rather carefree spirit shrugged her shoulders. No longer did she care or was surprised by the visitor. A shame he couldn't stay really. Although it was probably for the best given she anticipated a complete freak out in 3, 2, 1.

'WHAT THE HELL??!!!!!' A strong gust of wind blew through the mind space room as the wind spirit unleashed his anger and confusion. Board games and score sheets flew everywhere, as did all of the furniture that was placed inside the mind space and could make someone question how on earthland that was possible. Answer: magic! The spirit had been dressed as a sort of ninja, so naturally drawing a quick conclusion he had connected it to Kaori. She was a ninja styled mage while also being a summoner. That paired with having ties with Samira made it a reasonable guess. That timing though...was it intentional? 'That's it! I am not going to be under some weird supervision. We're spirits, not prison inmates!'

'Hmph, sometime is same thing,' Skadi commented, standing quite still and calm regardless of the strong winds blowing everything around. It wasn't enough to get her to move an inch even though everyone else were at different walls in the room. Some even the ceiling. Normally she wouldn't have been so grouchy and would not have considered the current environment as a cruel prison, but she had missed her chance yet again to hit a male with a giant ice rock. Her list of targets was growing. Speaking of, an ice rock formed in her hand. She easily walked over towards Susano and proceeded to hit him over the head with it, knocking him out to fall on the ground as well as stopping the strong blowing winds. 'Wind is unnecessary. Now have to clean up.'

'Serqet, what are you doing?' The cat goddess incarnation asked of the scorpion tailed woman as she took a stand from her corner and noticed the other spirit was turned away and doing something. Then Serqet turned around and held up her newest and quickly made creation; a hat made out of foil with two small antenna standing up vertically in the middle.

'Ta da! A tinfoil hat for all of our paranoia needs! It'll even keep the voices in our heads out so we can be the voices in Samira's head!' She tossed the newly made hat at Bastet and then proceeded to start covering the walls with the foil. Bastet and the others could only face palm, hoping that performing some sort of exorcism for unwanted spirits wasn't next.

    Back In Reality:

Samira looked up, as if she could see could actually see her mind even though she couldn't. There was quite a ruckus going on in there with her spirits. So much so that she temporarily closed the link until things had calmed down. It was a quiet walk aside from the noises of the woods around them. Eclipse Team was behind the mage duo, watching the rear and probably keeping alert. That was the assumption anyway since she couldn't hear any sort of conversation from them. "Allies is likely the proper term," Samira replied to the question asked of her in regards to the small unit. While Kaori was her friend that didn't mean everyone that surrounded her was. The people on the team seemed nice and loyal enough, but the summoner hardly knew them personally. Only when they were assigned as some sort of escort or security did she ever see them. Still, it was a little rude for Lucius to call them "weirdos". Just as she was about to scold him for it laughter erupted from all over the surrounding area. Eclipse had moved in closer and attempted to find the source, but the only thing they had found was a shadow in the shape of a little girl that soon consumed Eagle. Naturally the members were upset, one more than any as he seemed to let his emotions overrule his senses. Then she heard it; the label of "Cap's girlfriend." Honestly, where did people get that sort of idea? As far as she knew certain events had been kept a secret and Kaori wasn't really one to spread that sort of information. Her palm met her forehead as the ongoing battle of misunderstandings continued.

The group continued onward. Samira was a bit worried for the missing member, but on the outside she remained composed and un-phased. It was likely they would find Eagle if they found the child. An abandoned guild hall within the village area stood in their way and the squeaky sounds of the playground made the scene look all the more ominous. Samira nodded and gave her thanks after the scan had been complete and Ghost had given the location of the target as well as his plan to take care of whatever was ahead. The trio consisting of Bill, Lucius, and herself moved along on their own. "Book? You mean the one I was asked to sign earlier?" She had not even thought more about it, but at least now she had some clues. Although if it was fiction there was no telling what the subject revolved around. Then Lucius had inquired further, going so far as to congratulate her and ask who was the lucky man as if she were engaged or something. Her cheeks had taken on a pink hue from that rather embarrassing misunderstanding happening again. "Do not think too much on it. There are apparently rumors that keep spreading that are false. I am with no one, and it is all a misunderstanding that has formed due to not all of the facts being known. I wish to keep it that way." Her tone had been calm and polite at first, but by the time it had gotten to the end it had shifted to being more firm and annoyed. She was not going to trouble herself with giving details she would rather not. The whole conversation would also not have started to begin with if certain members of a certain team had kept their mouths shut. They knew nothing and were talking and making labels as if they were facts.

Soon the trio had entered a large windowed hallway and within moments were under assault by a large number of spears coming from the windows. Lucius was quick to act, using his gravity magic to send the spears upward the moment they got close. He appeared to have gotten a bit stronger as well it seemed. The spear assault came to an end, and Samira moved out from underneath the wall of spears up above. Once the gravity spell ended it was likely they would all come down at some point. Even if the pointed end was stuck in the ceiling she still didn't trust that natural gravity would keep it up there. "Good work, Lucius. You have gotten better since that time in the sewers." Not long after her compliment low whispers started to echo throughout the large hallway. Creepy and incoherent, but otherwise harmless. Child's play considering she had been in facilities overrun by demonic spirit clones. "If this is all we have to worry about I wonder how this child has obtained her reputation." No doubt the random appearance of spears may had killed some people, but it was hardly something worthy of a high tier mage. Thus far, not all that much was being done to harm the group. If anything the girl was toying with them.

The hallway had ended in a double stairway that led to the second floor. Samira climbed the steps, attempting to take the lead but would not stop the other two if they preferred it themselves. She was the more powerful one there where rank was concerned so she felt obligated to do so. The last set of stairs led into an even darker hallway with no windows but instead doors that led to many rooms. Most of them were closed, but a few had been opened, either due to the door being pushed inward or from being broken off completely. The summoner walked silently and dared look into one of the rooms out of curiosity. What she saw nearly made her jump right out of her skin immediately. There, lying in a rocking chair, was a creepy looking porcelain doll. A complete and total nightmare! She looked away from the room, ignoring that nervous fear building up inside, and continued on. Then the sounds of small clacks upon the floor could be heard before the door she had just looked in a moment before closed. She was so not going to go check that out. No way. Further on were more dolls laying around. Some were broken, while others were in various positions within the hallway and open rooms. All the while she could hear high pitched voices whispering and the small clacking sounds of small doll shoes walking on the floor. More playing around. Yes, that's what that was. No real dolls actually coming to life. None. At. All. Then a doll fell from the ceiling right on Samira. Well really it had fallen off a bookshelf that was in the hallway for some reason, but it was surprising all the same! The summoner yelped before grabbing the thing and tossing it aside. Without hesitation, she reached down to her keychain and quickly pulled out a key. “Open, gate of the Avatar, God of Fire! Agni!”

The two headed fire spirit appeared from the now open gateway, looking a bit disappointed that he had been summoned before his book hunt was over. Before he could even say hello to Lucius and Bill, Samira had been pointing at the doll that had been tossed with a rather hysterical and demanding expression on her face. "Burn it!"

    "Uh...what? It's a doll."

"I am aware of that! Now burn it! Burn them all!"

"Look, Samira, you really should get over this doll thing." Agni told her with a concerned look on both of his heads. He knelt down and picked up the curly haired thing and held it out to her. "See? Harmless!" The spirit turned it around to get a better look at it and even held it closer to his face. "It's actually kind of..." Agni stopped his sentence as the doll he held pulled out a needle from its pocket and stabbed his hand. His eyes went wide and he instantly dropped the thing, not before setting it on fire though. "OHMYGOD IT'S ALIVE!" Summoner and spirit both watched as the firey doll ran around in circles screaming before finally succumbing to its inevitable fate. The creaks of opening doors echoed through the halls, even the ones they had already passed. No doubt more of those things were coming. Summoner and spirit took off, leaving Lucius and Bill behind if they were still at the rear. "I didn't sign up for this! Send me back!"

"No! I need you to burn them for me!"

"You could have done this yourself without summoning me here!"

The yells of the two arguing could be heard as they ran through the hall, and the light from the flames used to burn whatever dolls they came into contact with could be seen. They did not stop until they had reached the staircase leading to the next floor. Yep, true Lamia Scale Guild Ace quality.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

    Post by ○Kaori 4th November 2017, 1:20 pm

Bill let out a light chuckle at Samira's comment on the relationship between her and Kaori "Rumors are shit, visual evidence is where Eclipse Team gets our info and Eagle pulled up quite a few of them, sweetheart." Of course, Bill calling Samira 'sweetheart' wasn't at all in the romantic sense as his tone was much further along the sassy, intentional dick side of the spectrum. If Samira requested the images shown to her, he'd say he'll show them to her after the mission. If Lucius requested the photos, he'd say "Confidential data, sorry. Try asking around your guild hall, there should be a few dozen still floating around." It wasn't long after that the spears had come and Lucius had used his magic to stop them, sending them all to the ceiling. Bill said "Niiiice..." in an impressed tone, the wonders of magic never ceasing to amaze him even if it was useless shit like sprouting flowers from your hand. Just as his spell ended and left the others dangling from the ceiling, well, the ones that didn't immediately drop to the floor, and almost directly after Samira complimented him, a single spear shot out from the same direction and Bill nonchalantly raised his hand and caught it like an arrow. He joked to Lucius "I think ya missed one, but ninty percent is still an A-minus." Once Samira had commented about the child having been lackluster, Bill spoke up with an annoyed tone. "Keep in mind, not everyone is a badass mage like eyeball over here, sugar- no offense, that eye's pretty badass lookin. That brat made off with one of my friends and no one was able to stop it, and those spears are probably the least of our worries. I'd stop underestimating her if I were you."

Not long after, Samira had checked inside a room and immediately closed the door. Bill raised his eyebrow under his mask and lowered it as their fearless leader continued down the hallway. More and more dolls began showing up, sitting, leaning on stuff, being held up on posts, and one had fallen on Samira and she screamed so loud that Bill raised his gun only to see her summon a fire spirit who had just about as much balls as Samira at the moment. Dolls began surrounding Bill and Lucius as Samira and the fire spirit ran like hell. Bill put his MG on his back and turned to have his back facing Lucius's in what would- with any other opponent- be the most badass back to back fight scene ever. He pulled a pair of Desert Eagles from the sides of his armor and held them vertically to his suit, turning his head slightly to angle towards his battle partner. "From this moment on... this never happened." he then slammed his foot on the floorboard below, launching one of the dolls in the air so he could blast it with the high caliber round, reducing it to broken porcelain and stuffing. The dolls began running at them and attacking, Bill firing his gun in an alernating pattern, not missing a shot. His guns ran dry and the dolls had kept coming, and much to his (mis)fortune, something bigger had showed up... A six foot tall porcelain doll had appeared near Samira that was made of fireproof material, wielding a 3 foot long sewing needle. The screaming from their direction made Bill run through the doll army saying "You handle them, I've got priorities!" while rushing down the hall. The doll was about to stab at Agni when Bill slid in (not knowing the spirit didn't exactly have guts to be impaled) and used one of his desert eagles to redirect the needle upwards and pointing the other one at its head and pulling the trigger... 'Bla-!' nope, 'Click, click, click-' no ammo.

"Fucking outstanding..." he said and tossed one of the guns aside, drawing a bowie knife from his back, letting the MG-42 drop from his shoulder and getting ready to fight. "You still wonder how the brat got her reputation?" he asked, teasing Samira for running from her fear. "LET'S PARTY!" he shouted and rushed in, defelcting the needle again with the empty gun and then using the knife to cut the doll's stomach open. He then spun around the stuffed leg while ramming the knife in the doll's arm, though, not the one with the needle. The doll turned faster than expected and made him lose his grip on the knife. The blade tore the stitches in the doll's arm enough to make it dangle uselessly before hitting the ground. The doll tried bashing him with the oversized needle, but Bill jumped forward into a roll and grabbed his knife again in a backhanded grip. He slashed blindly behind him and cut the leg open, making the doll drop to the floor while using its only good hand to prevent it from fully falling. It seemed he hit pretty high on the leg since it couldn't rest on the knee of the one Bill slashed, which meant that now was the time to end this fight. Bill put his knife away and walked over to his machine gun and aimed it at the doll's head. The doll looked at him like a soldier on a battlefield looking at his enemy, the difference being the doll couldn't produce the same hopeless expression or ask for mercy. The gun let off a loud 'bang' and the porcelain head exploded along with the stuffing being sent everywhere. "So..." he said while turning his head to Samira. "You can face Chimeras, Archangels, and the Captain with balls of steel... but your weakness is dolls." the summary was correct, but instead of coming down on her, he said nonchalantly "At least it ain't a green rock, those things are fuckin' creepy. You know captain has a whole collection of them on the Ark? Says they're good for trading. The scary part is... they actually are. Damn things cost a fortune." Bill called to Lucius "Oi, you still alive back there?" to see if he finished the dolls off on his end. With Bill gone, he was free to use his magic to crush them without worry so the fight shouldn't have lasted too terribly long...

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Lucius Octavio 5th November 2017, 2:42 pm

After the gravity purple circle pushed most of the spears to the ceiling, piercing them and making them stay up there he de-activated it as soon as the spears stopped coming, or so he thought, smirking from what he said. "Yeah yeah, I'm not here to impress you." he said with a somewhat irritated tone, Lucius believes that he just saved the party... all though, when Lucius felt Samira's new level of power perhaps she would've been able to repel the spears easily, she's definitely not the same woman he met when he went down to the sewers for that one Hydro-Arsonist, that's for sure. He was slightly offended by what Bill said, not because of him but slightly towards Samira. "If you're in a relationship with someone, you're in a relationship with someone, just own it." he shrugged. He didn't know why she would try to hide it. "I don't care if it's a female or male." it seems that the Sage butted back in once more, saying "You suurreee you don't care? you're getting irritated for seemingly no reason." Lucius shaked his head, saying in his mind "I prefer brutal honesty over beating by the bush... then again, Samira isn't one to lie from what I know. If this "Billy" fellow really is a subordinate of this captain, then he would be biased in his opinion on whenever or not the "Captain" and Samira is a thing."  the Sage could be heard laughing loudly in Lucius's mind, saying "For somebody who "doesn't care" you sure have given this a lot of thought, you need to take your own advice and just own the fact that you have something for Samira."

After Bill's compliment with his eye however, he then raised his hand to where his left eye is, saying "Thanks? it's an artificial eye that I made with mystical properties, with a scan of this eye I can tell what type of magic someone uses, whether they're good or evil and so on. My original eye... well, let's just say I lost it after an accident." it was a bit traumatizing around the time he lost his real eye, so he'd rather not share the details of his story, not even Samira knows yet. He promised to tell the story of his eye to Samira at one point but never got around to it. He then agreed with Billy about the little girl's power and said "I have to agree, even if you're a high-tier mage, arrogance and pride can be your downfall, unless you want to end up like that Eclipse member and get sunked."

They continued on, following Samira's lead as she is naturally the highest rank of anyone in their current party, he had no drama against it as he is a man who likes to follow. As they started to walk up towards the double stairs to the second floor, leading to a dark hallway but following closely behind Samira and next to Billy. A great number of doors leading to many rooms, until Samira decided to look in one, he was about to catch a glimpse until she decided to just avoid that one. "Huh?" he thought in his mind, he wondered why she purposely just avoided that one? he was about to check but then the door just slammed on it's own. "Oh, lovely." he said, following along with Samira, then he started to notice more and more dolls as they continued to walk on, is this what shook Samira? something in that room? he eventually figured it out when a doll had fallen on Samira, holding back a laugh. "Really? out of all the things to be legitimately scared of... a doll?" he was slightly disappointed but everyone has their own unique fears, it seems.

However, after she summoned her spirit and demanded the fire spirit to burn it, even he agreed that it might be going a bit too far until the doll showed itself to be alive, it seems if Samira did have a legitimate fear of dolls, it would only be up to Bill and Lucius to effectively kill them, however it seems Samira's fire spirit isn't doing so bad as it's unintentionally burning a few of them when he's running. All the dolls around them had started to come to life, soon enough Lucius had stepped back to soon find himself back-to-back with Bill, he found it rather embarrassing and didn't comment on it, even after his comment of "This never happened"

It seems Bill had to leave Lucius quite early since he had to rescue Samira from the rather tall-looking doll, soon enough with Bill leaving him and a great number of dolls had started to jump at Lucius, he shaked his head. "Good thing I trained... otherwise I wouldn't be able to do this!" suddenly, a massive amount of gravity had bursted from Lucius himself, going in all directions which pushed all of the dolls back, even a few of them cracking from the sudden force. "That's my Gravity Exclusion... and now..." he then put both of his hands to the ground, soon enough objects of all kinds had started to rise upon the ceiling, Lucius then stood up and it seems he's passively controlling all the debris colliding with the ceiling, he then said "Debris Rain... let's see if this spell is as good in a practical sense as it is in theory." quite a weird mixture of words used there, but it did bring his point across... as soon as any doll even came near Lucius, an object that he's controlling would launch straight at the doll, cracking them. Lucius was just standing there without a worry in the world while the extensive amount of debris he's got hold up in the air is protecting him from the dolls. It seems the dolls weren't very smart as they just kept on going but got completely destroyed by Lucius's debris rain, as soon as all of them were done, he started to walk towards Samira and Bill, he then let go of his hold on Debris Rain, and soon enough a great amount of objects that were previously on the ceiling fell to the ground. He replied to what Bill asked and said "Yep, alive and kicking."

Lucius then started to head up to the third floor, looking back at Samira and Bill saying "I'll lead again... in-case there are anymore spooky dolls." as Lucius started to head towards the top of the staircase, leading to the third floor he was expecting something much more scarier, like actual demonic monsters with devil-like magic? but no, instead... as soon as he walked up to the third floor, it had a massive hallway, towards the end there's a massive, solid iron door which clearly shows that's the way they gotta go for the fourth floor, but suddenly a number of ghosts had shown up, with one going near Lucius, saying "In order to break the iron door, you must answer all of the riddles... if you answer correctly, they'll crack the door for you until it breaks... if you fail, they'll transform into monsters and kill you... but if you beat them, they'll still go towards the iron door and break it." he then suddenly disappeared. Lucius went towards one of the said "ghosts" and it instantly faced him in a superhuman reflex, he then said his puzzle. "I have seas with no water, coasts with no sand, towns without people, mountains without land... what am I?" Lucius thought about it for a second, it ringed a bell with how he described it but then it clicked to him, he then said "A map?" soon enough, the ghost then turned into a more spiritual, energy form and flew straight towards the iron door, making a crack against it. Lucius went from ghost to ghost, trying to learn all of the riddles he could answer, expecting Samira and Bill will also do their own thing to try and bypass the iron door.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Samira Nassar 6th November 2017, 12:55 pm

Samira made no requests for the images to be shown to her. As far as she could assume then the physical evidence Bill was referring to were pictures taken by iLacs back when a certain ninja had returned after being gone for months. That was a misunderstanding. Believing what the eyes saw without the full story was foolish. The comments made by Lucius would surely have been eye rolling if she were anyone else. There was nothing to own up to. She was telling the truth regardless of what Bill had been saying. Pointless arguing was not something she wanted to waste time doing, however, and as such the topic was let go.

As the summoner and spirit duo met the end of the hallway they could hear fighting going on behind them. Oh, right, it probably wasn't very nice to just leave them like that. Instant reaction from both parties. Samira tried to catch her breath when something poked her shoulder. "We will go back once they deal with those demons," she said inbetween pants, assuming the poke had come from Agni. Then she noticed the fire spirit was not standing where the poke had come from. In fact, he was standing there with a rather dumb terrified expression on both his heads while pointing in the direction of whatever poked her. Clenching her teeth in fear and in preparation to see what was there, Samira slowly turned her head to see a six foot tall doll monstrosity. She let out a scream before yelling "Burn it!!!!" The spirit got over his own fear for the moment because hey, he had fire. That thing was toast. Then the flames fizzled out with absolutely no damage done to the doll. It raised its oversized sewing needle angrily and if not for both spirit and summoner screaming and running back the way they had come, it would have stabbed them through with it. Bill had then saved the day! Something Samira would have appreciated if not for him now being on the bottom of the list of people she preferred to be around. Too much teasing and somehow he had a habit of getting Lucius on his side as well. First with the being with someone logic and then again with her questioning Lilith's ability. Hell now even Lucius was teasing her about the doll fear too! Why did no one but her seem to understand those soulless things would overrun the world with their demonic powers?!

"How eloquently put," Samira stated after she had composed herself now that the creatures from the deepest part of hell were destroyed. Honestly all of the things he listed never really were scary or threatening. Not when compared to those things. "Seeing as the demon dolls are dealt with, I am so out of here. I have a book to find! Summon Ra if you need more things burned, kay? Later!" In a puff of orange particles the spirit was gone and had returned to his book hunt adventure.

It was now time to head to the third floor, with Lucius taking the lead in front of her. Green eyes narrowed for the reasoning used, but she did not argue. If there were anymore spooky dolls then they had better be dealt with before she saw them as far as she was concerned. That child was also getting a slap for leaving such monstrosities all over the second floor. As they climbed the stairs the trio would come upon a massive hallway leading to a large iron door. Interesting. As they got close, ghosts appeared and one had explained they had to answer riddles in order for the door to be broken and they allowed to pass. If they failed, the ghosts would turn into monsters that needed to be defeated before it would do its part with the breaking of the door. What sort of guild hall was that place? Did members really have to do the riddle test everytime they wanted to access the fourth floor? Honestly! She remained silent and watched as Lucius went up towards one of the ghosts and correctly answered its riddle. Lucius continued going towards each ghost and answering riddles. Bill may had been doing the same thing or contemplating just blowing the door to hell much like Kaori would have done, but really Samira wasn't paying too much attention. She was too busy sighing. If it had been some ancient ruins she would have been delighted to answer some riddle game, but they were just in some abandoned guild hall. The whole thing was a waste of time.

'Not that I am complaining, but are you sure Team Kaori hasn't had a bad influence on you? I can hear those thoughts of cheating. Taking the short cut and just dealing with whatever happens later sounds like something they would do; not a calm and patient summoner I know.'

"Hmmm," Samira thought hard, weighing the imaginary scales in her mind. The first ghost that had talked to Lucius floated over to her after it had noticed she was not answering any riddles. "Are you not going to go through with the answering of riddles?" The summoner remained silent for a moment as she unhooked two keys from her keychain. "No," she replied bluntly to the ghost. One of the keys was then held outward in front of her and as she said the call of the spirit she had in mind, she slashed through the air with the key to open a rift between dimensions. “Open, gate of the Avatar, God of Portals! Janus!” The portal master spirit then appeared through the now open portal and looked around. "Oh, Samira, you are not serious with actually going through with this... Cheating in life is very much frowned upon."

"Your advice is appreciated as always, Janus. Now could you please open a portal?" The second key was held closely in preparation. It was not ever said they couldn't just bypass the door in other ways, so technically it wasn't cheating. Still, the first ghost had said they would all turn into monsters upon failing a riddle, and if there was some unwritten rule about bypassing the objective entirely then it would count as the ultimate failure. A massive amount of monsters was predicted. Somehow with that thought in mind she was quite calm about that possibility. Monsters did not scare her; dolls did. With a sigh the portal spirit made a large circular portal big enough for all three humans to pass through at their leisure. Although the moment it was created the lead ghost fumed and got angry. "How dare you cheat! You have all failed!" The ghost disappeared. Unfortunately the rest remained and began to turn into monsters from classic horror films. A vampire, werewolf, zombie, swamp creature, etc etc. The large hallway was now swarming with them. Now it was time to summon spirit number two.

“Open, gate of the Avatar, The Shining Light! Amaterasu!” The same key ritual was performed as it had been for the first. With the newest one though, the portal that was created shined a bright light all throughout the hallway, blinding the enemies that now came for the group. Unfortunately, it had a habit of affecting allies as well, but she was sure the two men could handle it well enough. One had a helmet that likely had some sort of protection for that, and the other had a magic eye. During the shining light, Samira's quickest spirit had taken care of the monsters with ease. Her blade cut through them all and it wasn't until her portal's light had diminished that the monsters suddenly paused. Then flashes of light exploded from the slash marks she had made, revealing the attacks they had taken and then falling to the floor. The bodies turned into some sort of black ooze on the ground that she carefully avoided as she made her way back to her summoner. The only ones that didn't turn into such a mess were any that Lucius or Bill had taken care of themselves, if any. "I find amusement with these creatures. Can you bring more? I wish to see more combat from the Loud Armored Doll Slayer as well as from the Introverted Doll Army Conqueror."

"No," Samira replied without even looking to see the smile on the spirit's face. "I do not think anyway." If any of the two men got on to her for basically cheating past the riddle madness and blamed her for the monster party, Samira would just shrug her shoulders and had an expression on her face that basically told them she did not care whatsoever. "They were monsters; not dolls. Such things are easily handled. Now come along." The summoner turned towards the portal and went through with Amaterasu following. Janus remained until all parties had gone through before returning to the celestial realm.

On the other side of the portal was yet another staircase leading to the fourth floor. Thus far, they had not run into the rest of the unit that was supposed to be ahead of them. How did they even manage to get past the riddle doors so quickly? Or the doll army hallway? Did the place somehow morph and shift each time a group went through it? Nonetheless, Samira took the lead once more unless another requested it. One staircase was climbed. Then another. And then another. The summoner's expression went blank as she realized the place was seeming more and more like some weird type of funhouse. Eventually the staircase madness came to an end and the group was allowed to reach the fourth floor. It was a large ball room in design and actually quite dark aside from Amaterasu's natural yellow glow and any other lights the men may of had. It was concerning though. Where was the rest of the unit? Or Lilith for that matter? The location from the scan should of had her there. Then again, she had proven to be able to control shadows and reports had stated she could use illusions. A shame the spirit she had that could detect such things had flown off somewhere.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

    Post by ○Kaori 7th November 2017, 1:24 am

Looks like the guy with the funky eye was able to handle the dolls just fine, something that made Bill feel relieved at since him getting wrecked by a bunch of children's toys would've been humiliating to have on paper when he did his mission report. Bill had fallen behind Lucius and Samira without question. Granted he was the guy with a gun, which easily trumped magic in terms of death dealing capability, he was always more of a rear unit type... Machine Guns were heavy, and normally required laying down, or setting them on something to fire- not the kind of thing you carried around like an assault rifle even though he was able to just fine. He let Lucius lead because the mage had expressed a desire to do so, something that not everyone was so bold as to do. To assume the mantle of responsibility is to assume the consequences of fucking up, Bill's captain would appreciate such actions.

Following their leader, the great and majestic Lucius Octavio, the trio had ended up at a rather large door that seemed to be made of metal. A bunch of spectral beings were blocking it, and upon poking at one Bill realized that he could walk right on through them if he so desired. He took a few steps back and readied his MG as soon as the one he poked said "I follow you wherever you go, and exist even if not seen. I am like rubber, able to stretch and bend, but contain only one shape... What am I?" Bill was about to open fire on the damn thing for doing something he didn't expect, but didn't since it wasn't doing anything bad. He blinked a few times while aiming down the sight and then slowly lowered the weapon. "Full of holes is what you were about to be. What the hell kind of question was that?" Bill said, feeling relieved. It was then that he heard "if you fail, they'll transform into monsters and kill you..." from out the corner of his ear, and upon looking at the ghost, he saw a werebear that slapped him with its paw and sent him flying while screaming "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!" the sound of while getting softer as he got farther back across the hall. He hit the ground and slid back a bit on his back, and as soon as he stopped he aimed his MG at the werebear and blew its head wide open. "Dick. Could've explained the rules before attacking." he said before relaxing and letting his head hit the floor. He then heard the voice from earlier getting pissed, saying someone cheated. He looked back down (since he was laying on the floor from a recent ass kicking) and saw a spirit summoned and all of the ghosts were turning into monsters. Bill began getting back up, grabbing his MG and saying "Shit, shit, shit!" and by the time he had the gun ready to fire, the monsters all exploded. Bill walked through the portal and stopped on the other side, looking at Samira. "I think Cap's rubbin' off on ya... Stories she told were about you being patient. Then again, Cap used to be 'lot more brutal... maybe you rubbed of on her, yeh?"

More stairs and halls later, they arrived to the fourth floor and shockingly, the ball room was empty. He looked around, expecting something horrible to come up and nothing... no little girl, no eclipse team, no monsters. "Hold on." he told the others. "Bill to Recon-One, get me another scan. We're on floor four, but have no visual of the target." he said, soon after feeling another pulse of energy. "Recon-One in, you are not alone... I count several more signatures in the room, more than you three." the operater replied. "Hey Bill... remember when Cap had us fight her blindfolded with one of us calling out her position and how to act?" the voice of Eagle came in on the internal speaker. Bill immediately shut off the external one to make the conversation private. "Yeh, I got my ass kicked ten times that day." he replied, but was beginning to catch her drift. "Well... give that bitch ten percent power to your left." Bill immediately turned and kicked to his left, seeming like there was nothing there at first but then he felt resistance. The illusion vanished completely and the room had become much different...

Broken tables were all over the place, and some of them had corpses mounted on the busted support beams. Blood dripped from the chandelier up above, looking up Bill saw a man hanging by his jaw from one of the candle holders on it, his blood dripping from his feet with a spear lodged in the back of his head. Several members were pinned to the wall with swords, and a woman had been pinned to the floor with a spear in her back. Blood was all over the place, and on the far end was the other four members of Eclipse team chained to the wall. Bill looked to where Lillith was as she was getting up from the ground, the outside of her eyes completely black and her eyes crimson, but the black was encroaching. "Hey Sammy, that look familiar to you?" he asked in reference to a certain event. "Roll forward!" Ghost's voice called out and a massive fist came down on Bill's previous spot as he did as told. When he turned around, a ten foot tall metal doll was standing there that looked even creepier than the porcelain ones... "Fuck me..." he said unhappily, and upon the arrival of a giant metal machine with a sword he said "So... I'll take on Chappie, one of you stops the corrupted brat, and the other gets barbie..." Naturally referring to the metal monster as Chappie.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] LviSlRz
Lucius had continued to go from puzzle to puzzle, looking over to Samira to realize she hasn't moved at all ever since the ghost explained what they had to do, and he didn't expect Billy to participate at all, in a sudden moment however the ghost that Lucius was replying to suddenly transformed, before Lucius could react however it suddenly transformed into a monster and bit into Lucius's shoulder, Lucius managed to slightly stop it with what strength he had so it couldn't go all the way in, it was a constant pushing battle between Lucius and the monster until a sudden light had blinded Lucius's right eye, his left eye was unaffected by the light and in a single second, all the monsters had seemingly been killed. Lucius is now gripping onto his shoulder wound which isn't serious or life-threatening but still a pain, he stepped through the portal and had a serious look at Samira. "I don't mind if you're going to turn them all into monsters, you could've warned us first before doing something stupid like that." he clearly seemed agitated that Samira would do something like that, he'd expect it from Billy but not from her of all people, but let it pass for now as he followed Samira alongside Billy to the fourth floor.

It was led to believe that this "Lilith" would be on the fourth floor but the ball room had seem completely... empty, no dolls, monsters or any unworldly monstrosities grasping it's teeth and claws at the trio this time. "Interesting..." he said, while the others may of not seen it his artificial eye were picking up odd auras of energy across the entire room, despite their being physically nothing. Lucius thought it was best to warn them and say "Guys, this room isn't what it appea-" before suddenly, Bill had kicked something and the entire room had changed it's entire form to a more horrifying one, the furniture of the room being entirely destroyed with corpses all over that appears they died in horrid ways. Lucius looked away for a bit and said "Life is worth living, what a loss of life... to die to some psychotic pleasure of a corrupted child." he shaked his head, growing more agitated. He then saw the other armored people chained on the wall.

Soon enough, a massive metal doll had fisted upon where Bill previously was, he managed to somehow react to that attack fast enough but soon enough... another doll had appeared a larger, human-like doll, and hearing what Bill had to say, also taking into consideration about Samira's fear of dolls Lucius said "I'll take on barbie, it's best if Samira takes on the shadow child." referring to Lilith. It seems that Barbie had tried to make a direct run for Samira until Lucius opened up a purple magic circle, which let loose an outlet of gravity towards Barbie which forced him back from Samira. He then said "Hey, you're fighting me." however it seems that Barbie had shown incredible feats of speed as it caught up to Lucius easily and started a barrage of attacks, which he is forced to only dodge. He got hit by a few however as the pain in his shoulder was slowing him down. He had to utilize a few objects to block into the way of it's attacks just to keep up the pace but Lucius can't find any openings the way he's currently going. He had hoped the situation was better for Billy and Samira.

Post by Samira Nassar 17th November 2017, 3:19 am

As Lucius was attempting to give out some sort of warning, Samira saw Bill kick at what had appeared to her to be nothing but air. The room then shifted into a scene of a massacre, and a small child was sent flying back from the kick she had been dealt. Corpses and blood everywhere was a scene Samira was getting accustomed to seeing. That wasn't particularly a good thing, but her numbness to that part of the scene was less significant on the disturbing scale than the fact it had all been done by that child. It was saddening to come face to face with such a thing and wonder just what had gotten the child to that point. Even worse it was all too similar to past events and memories the summoner preferred to not think about. "Too familiar for my liking," she answered Bill just before a giant metal fist came down where the man once stood. Samira jumped to the side and clung to Amaterasu for dear life once she saw it was a ten foot doll monstrosity. Then another type of doll appeared and had started to come for her before Lucius quickly stopped it and made the thing fight him instead. As much as it was rather hurtful to her pride to be delegated to take on a mere child, she had to agree with it. Against doll enemies she would have been entirely useless. Plus, that Lilith needed a good smack to the face for using her fear on a consistent basis.

The trio were then separated into their own individual fights. Samira let go of Amaterasu as the child turned and focused on Lucius, who had been fighting Barbie. Shadow like chains formed and were on their way to strike the gravity mage when Amaterasu vanished from her spot, and in a flash of light appeared and parried the chains with her sword. "Samira, I have no desire to hurt this child," the light spirit told her summoner mentally as the shadow chains grew in number and began to pursue her throughout the room. At that point she was stalling. Her abilities were offensive, and she did not want to strike a young child with powerful strikes.

'Hmm? I have no problem with hurting her. A young girl would make the perfect ingredient in a ritual I had planned.'

'I have no moral disagreements either. Let me toss that little bitch of a brat out the window. She'll splatter to the ground and no more dollies will hurt you, right? God, I can't believe I actually have a summoner who is afraid of dolls. I mean, sure voodoo ones you can worry about but those? Come on! What a wimp!'

"You are not using her as a sacrifice, Au Puch, and you are overkill Kuku. That is a definite no." If Amaterasu really did not intend on hurting the child as she was, and if Samira thought the rest of her offensive spirits were overkill, then she would just have to try another tactic. Having many spirits did have its perks, especially when having ones that could make dealing with enemies slightly too easy. “Open, gate of the Avatar, The Keeper of Time! Chronos!” Another set of thin shadows appeared, that time as sharp needles. They headed in the direction of Samira and stopped short of pricking her cheeks and causing thin lines of blood to flow down. The time spirit had appeared and used his powers to stop the movements of the remaining enemies in the room just in the nick of time. "You should probably delay a summoning the next time you are under attack. You were lucky it was I and not another." Samira made no reply as she backed away from the shadow needles and then walked around them and towards the child that had been frozen momentarily in time. A rather harsh and loud slap was done by her hand against Lilith's cheek. It broke the time freeze from her body and the child reached to where she had been struck and begun to cry, loudly. Shadows and darkness leaked from her form until a dark clone of herself had been created. The real Lilith fell unconscious as the shadowy clone took over. It was moving slowly however as Chronos's aura affected it. Time moved slower for his enemies while time sped up for his allies. Samira was able to dodge the attacks it made easily even with her small amount of training. Its hands turned into claws of shadow that extended and attempted many swipes but had missed with all of them. The chains and needles came again, forming a defensive dome that attacked anything close. By that point Samira had to retreat fully as Amaterasu ran in to take her place. The actual child she had an issue with hurting physically, but stopping the dark counterpart was her calling. She cut through each shadow tendril that stood in her way and her sword began to glow white, its power increasing further. The light spirit broke through the defenses and with no hesitation whatsoever she stabbed the creature of darkness where its heart should have been. It screamed as it was attacked and cracks of light began to form on the rest of the body. The solid form of the darkness half of the girl then exploded and turned into nothing more than dark fog that retreated back into the body of the real Lilith. Weakened it was, but still existed. The child was much like Kaori in that sense.

Once all enemies were defeated, both Amaterasu and Chronos disappeared in a puff of magic particles. Their part of the battle was done and there was no need to stay further. "He Bo," Samira said as she walked over to where Lucius was. 'I understand.' The spirit within her mind space allowed the summoner to make use of his power as her own. Her clothing changed to mark the fusion of herself and the spirit's powers. A red and white dress she now wore and was hardly suited for any type of battle. However, as a backline unit it mattered not and the battle was over anyway. "Remain still," she told Lucius after glancing at his shoulder wound. A small portal opened beside her and glowing blue water flowed from it. With the powers granted by the spirit, she guided it through the air until it reached the shoulder wound. The water was a type that specialized in healing, and as soon as the water absorbed into where he had been bitten the wound would close and disappear, leaving no pain or even wetness from the water. "I apologize for earlier. Perhaps I should leave being reckless to those that can handle it properly." Team Kaori really had been rubbing off on her. It wasn't something she really considered a bad thing per say. The difference was they could all generally handle the consequences or prevent them from happening entirely. Apparently she could not. Even summoning Amaterasu to handle all the enemies was too slow to prevent an ally from being injured. She could have blamed her lack of judgement and critical thought on being in a building full off murderess dolls, but in the end that was just an excuse. The fast approach was taken because she wanted to risk it.

Samira would then turn and ask if there was anyone else who were injured as well as help free the other four members of Eclipse Team if they were still chained up.

Facing up against the metal construct, Bill had begun examining his target while it examined him. The creature was made of metal which implied a great degree of weight, but actuated cylinders and hydraulic pumps lined its arms and legs. Bill had helped work on several mechs following designs Ikuchi... 'borrowed' from some hunchback he saw in the Cursed Lands some time back. From what he knew, hydraulics made it so machines could move pretty damn fast and hit really hard. The lines for the machine were visible but light machine guns weren't known for precision, they were for suppressing cover fire. The originals were the Mounted Machine Gun, massive, fully automatic guns that had to be mounted on bipods or vehicles to prevent the recoil from making the user shoot the sky- some were just too damn heavy to use otherwise. They were used to keep enemies from attacking while soldiers advanced by means of high fire rate and massive ammo supplies. He could try hip firing his gun, but there was no guarantee that he'd hit the machine... or wouldn't hit the little girl, Samira, or Lucius.

Bill had an idea, reckless- but his team was made of reckless idiots, why should he be any different? Bill let his MG45 slide from his shoulder and drop to the floor, the thing weighed nearly a hundred pounds on account of the massive ammo clip. He reached to his chest and pulled out a pair of lacrima grenades, small rectangular prism shaped lacrima with an explosive enchantment on them. The ones Eclipse Team had were just like the ones in the Lamia Scale armory, they had an elemental switch attached to them that changed the properties of the bomb depending on the element selected. He let out a mighty battle cry while running towards the machine, pressing the lightning and fire buttons on the two bombs and pulling the pins from them on his approach. The machine extended its arm and aimed it at at Bill to expose a tri-barreled gun hidden in its palm- Bill kept charging, holding both grenades out like the torch for the olympics or Suicide Grunts from a certain space sci-fi shooter revolving around giant rings that fire gamma bursts to destroy all sentient life in their range (hint). Bullets began firing from the palm, slamming into the overshield that Bill's (and the rest of Eclipse Team's) suit had and chewing away at it quickly, but not before Bill managed to get close enough. He jumped into a forward roll while letting the two bombs go, continuing to roll under 'Chappie' before getting up and running without losing much momentum.

The machine turned around and kept its hand guns spinning in preparation to fire. Bill grabbed another bomb from his chest, this one being a shock wave bomb, a tactical piece of equipment that released a high pressure air burst that could knock a mammoth on its ass. He tossed it, the two grenades exploded and sent electricity through the machine's system while covering it in napalm. The shockwave bomb exploded to knock it down while Bill ran over to his team and used a Smith and Wesson 500 with four hundred grain rounds to turn their chains into shitty looking bracelets and free them from their captivity. The four members fell from the walls they were chained to, to the ground and got up fairly quick. Bill gave Shadow and Tango his mini uzi's, his SW500 to Eagle, his lever action sawed off to Ghost, and pulled up his desert eagles that were reloaded on the way to the massive door from earlier. "Eclipse Team, weapons free!" Ghost said and as the machine began getting up it got peppered with bullets galore that destroyed its metal frame, hydrolic lines, and several other components.

Shortly after, almost at the exact same time in fact, Samira had finished her battle with the little girl and went to heal Lucius of his wounds. It was shortly after that, that Samira had apologized for making the portal and pissing off all those monsters. Ghost and the rest of Eclipse Team had been watching through one of the cameras in Bill's helmet and looked at each other. Ghost stepped forward and punched Samira in the shoulder fairly hard, not enough to break it but it certainly wouldn't feel good. "Being reckless is running into MG fire with two grenades. Taking initiative is taking on an army of monsters and being a badass is winning the fight." Eagle, the female of the group, walked over to her and said "Not every problem has a logical solution. Not ever situation will have time for trial and error. Sometimes the high risk option is the best one. You did well Sam." Tango had shouted "So... is that glowy chick single?" to which Shadow shouted "Dude!"

    Tango: "What?"
Shadow: "She's way too damn old for you, man."
    Tango: "She looks young enough."
Shadow: "She's also way out of your league."
Bill: "I agree, you won't even make a worthy door mat for her."
Eagle: "Come now, boys, you'll make me jealous."

Ghost rested his visor in the palm of his hand and let out a groan. "Oi!" he shouted, walking over to the unconscious child and picking her up, draping her over his arm like a towel on the rack. "Team regroup for extraction." he said and the four members all gathered around him. "Ghost to Ark, mission accomplished. I have the target in tow, status... mostly unharmed but unconscious. She's a psychic so we'll need to use cell K-triple-6.... Query, take us home." The spirit from earlier appeared out of thin air and the magic circle appeared around them. "Lucius, Samira; you both did well today. A shuttle's on its way to get you both back to Hargeon, your payment will arrive within a day or two." The circle rose from the floor and just like that, the six of them were gone. The shuttle would be waiting outside the guild hall by the time they got to the exit.

Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira] Empty Re: Nightmare Lilith, Private Job [Lucius, Kaori, Samira]

Post by Lucius Octavio 7th February 2018, 1:45 am

It was time for Lucius to whip out what he's been training on, in cases of emergencies like this. "Gravity Explusion!" he yelled, after attempting to stand his ground and forcing the giant barbie to back off from the sheer force of the gravity that Lucius let out in all directions, the others such as Billy or Samira might've received some form of the gravity explusion but it wouldn't of been damaging to them as it would be to the Barbie. "It's still standing after my gravity explusion? I'll have to use that..." before the sage could even come to the thought of yelling in Lucius's mind to use that last resort move, Lucius would stop him and say "Not that move you idiot, the Gravity Punch..."

Soon enough, Barbie had started to rush at Lucius once more but Lucius punched his right fist into his open left palm, a very small purple circle had started to surround his right fist, a visible distortion could be seen in Lucius's right hand as he held it out, as if his fist was holding some form of transparent aura. "Now here comes the tricky bit..." he started to run at Barbie, they got very close to each other and Barbie attempted a right hand swing, which Lucius started to jump down and slide under, just barely dodging the right arm swing and giving an opening directly to Barbie's chest. Lucius quickly gets back up from the ground and jumps towards Barbie's chest, unleashing an outlet of gravity through his chest, completely breaking the insides of what the outlet of gravity came into contact with, as well as launching Barbie straight to the ceiling, with small rubbles of the ceiling falling down resulting in Barbie being stuck in the ceiling for a few seconds until he fell down, completely devoid of any movement or life now.

"Well... that worked, but that could've gone smoother." the Sage spoke into Lucius's mind, saying "Actually... I have an idea to improve your overall performance in well... everything, but I'll discuss the details after the mission." what the Sage said that intrigued Lucius into learning more about what he had in mind, but he usually couldn't change the Sages mind about such things and wouldn't pester him on it until after the mission, Lucius saw that Eclipse Team had been rescued, Samira finished off Lilith and from the looks of it, the mission's a success, he also let Samira's spirit willingly heal him, he apologized soon after for the attitude he gave earlier. "Apologies for going off like that, I've just had my fair share of injuries and I just don't like... receiving more." He was referring to his artificial eye, as well as the scars on the right side of his face.

Lucius had shown a rather glare-like look towards the armored soldier who asked if the "glowy chick" was single, but calmed himself out of it as soon as he realized his sudden anger. Lucius thought to himself "Why do I care so much about her? I need to back away from such feelings, they're a weakness." he doesn't even know Samira that much to begin with, maybe it's because he hasn't had a lot of friends? regardless, after the Eclipse Team briefed Lucius and Samira on what about the mission and teleported off, Lucius had started to head back the same way that they entered to try and find the shuttle outside, assuming that Samira will follow along.
