"What a beautiful day!" A cry of excitement left Rin's mouth as she walked joyfully down the path before her. The young mage had been growing quickly. Not only had she somehow made it to B rank, but she had also become a Rising Star in the process. There weren't enough words in her vocabulary to describe how surprised and honored she was to achieve such a title! "Hey! Earth to Rin! Are you even paying attention to where you're going?" The small voice snapped her out of her little daydream. Looking to her right, her bunny-cat, Lily, smirked at her, obviously enjoying the dazed look on Rin's face. "Y-Yes!" The girl replied, moving her gaze downwards to the paper she had in her hands.

"This poor woman... I hope she's doing okay!" She sighed. An older woman seemed to have lost her cat somewhere in this village. People had confessed to seeing the feline, but nobody could catch it! "How hard can it be to catch a little kitty? We can do that in two seconds flat!" Lily boasted, nodding confidently. It did seem like a pretty simple task, compared to other jobs she had taken recently. It was nice to get a break from all the fighting and chasing! "R-Right!" She cheered, nodding back to her companion.

"This is the place, right?" Rin asked, comparing the address on the flyer to the one on the house in front of them. "I think so, dear. Why don't you go ahead and knock?" Moving forward slowly, the pink haired female timidly knocked on the old woman's door, and waited patiently.

Hearing a sudden voice coming from behind her, Rin jumped, completely surprised by the sudden presence. "A-Ah! Yes! I'm here for the cat job! Gosh, you scared me half to death!" Turning around to get a better look at the sneaky sneaker, she smiled, a bit embarrassed at her behavior. She really needed to work on not being so jumpy! The boy in front of her seemed to be a kind soul, not someone she needed to fear! He seemed to be a bit older than her, and quite a bit taller. It was always a bit intimidating when someone towered over her, but it was to be expected when she stood at a miniature 4'11.

When the woman still hadn't answered after what seemed like an eternity, the boy began to call out to her. Almost seconds after, the woman appeared, and gave the two mages as much information as she could about the little feline. Sprinkles, huh? What an adorable name for a cat! She had never heard anything like it! Continuing to listen to the woman's explanation, Rin made mental notes about the cat's possible location, trying her best not to get distracted by the cute ball of fluff that had been resting on Mrs. Chu's head. Once she was done explaining, Chu sent them off, closing the door gently behind them.

It was a good question. Where was the first place they would look? Luckily the sneaky feline didn't leave the village. It limited their options by quite a bit. "U-Uh... We could go this way, towards the little cafe over there!" She suggested, beginning to walk in that direction. It sure was nice to have someone here to help! Though she never expressed it, the young girl was a tad bit nervous about her cat catching abilities. Stopping in her tracks for a moment, she realized something. She didn't even know this man's name! Turning to show him a kind smile, the young girl began to introduce herself. "I-I almost forgot! My name is Rin! Rin Mayou! I'm a B ranked mage of Crystal Swan! Oh! And my furry friend here is Lily! A-And you are?" Bowing politely, she waited patiently for his response.
