CLOSED • FTRP Advertising Event

Ever wanted your stories to expand and grow beyond the borders of where they are now? One of the ways to do this is to find new life to interact with. This comes in the form of new blood for our site; new members to stick around and roleplay with you!

But... how do we get this new blood, and make new friends?

We put ourselves out there, and invite them in!




• Get comfortable. Put on a YouTube or Spotify playlist and set aside some time.

• Go find an active Roleplay Forum and go to their ad section. Click on the more recent ads, and then go to their ad sections. By now, you should have a long list of places to post the FTRP ad in.

• Read the Advertising Rules of the other sites, if they have some. Check the front page of their 'First Link' advertising board to ensure that nobody has already posted a Fairy Tail RP advertisement.

• Fill out the thread title with 'Fairy Tail RP' and your site name for guest name. Clear any captcha the site has you go through, and post~

• You've just advertised-- congratulations! You've earned yourself a point. Do not worry about Link Backs. The staff of the site you First-Linked to will handle linking back.

** We will check every ad posted. Please do not post an advertisement up in a board that already has a FTRP ad posted by another FT member, unless the Advertising Rules of that site allow.



• For every FTRP Ad you post, you must save the link to that advertisement thread. Compile a list of places you've advertised and keep count. PM these to Ad Event Coordinators. Izayuki, Lester Drynedi, Aura, or Fluffy. Wait for the Coordinator to PM you approving the points before using them.

• For every FTRP Ad, you will gain 1 point. Points can be used to purchase prizes.

• Breaking the advertising rules of other sites will result in lost points or no points counted for that ad. Double posting where sites don't allow reflects poorly on FTRP, and if done too many times, you can be disqualified from that event. We understand the accidental double post once in a while, but do not count those ads for points.

• Don't advertise on forums that are inactive (no activity in their chatbox, no members online in the last 24 hours, etc). Doing so will not gain you points.

• Staff have the right to withhold points if they see reason. Have good sportsmanship-- if someone gets a prize before you do, do not complain or harass them.

• The event will end on April 2nd, 2018. Closed early.



• Using your points, you may purchase prizes from the Ad Shop, which will feature VIP Shop statuses and items, Retired Slayer Lacrimas, Archived IoTMs, and some various site items. There is a limited supply, however, so don't wait! (:
