Lowering her hands she would slit the palms as blood flowed out and without hesitation she grabbed the two sleeping peoples faces. They squirmed for sure they tried to scream and while sure they hurt with their punches it was when the squirming stopped, the neurotoxic blood doing it's job that she let go. Soon she visited the children's room, a baby it seemed, so quiet and so she made it quick light pouring from her hands as the child turned to ash. From here she sat in the living room silently waiting for the proper assassin to show up, could be interesting to see what their reaction is, or even if the assassin comes maybe they killed the client instead.

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
Upon Famine’s decent off the window and into the targets home that night her heart fell to her stomach with the weight of a grand piano and tied her gut into knots. It was all because of the sight of the pile of soot in between the blankets in the crib, seeing bits of charred bone in between the ashes that slid between the bars of the baby bed and onto the carpet.
The parent, --her actual assassination target was one thing. --but to murder small children, whose minds were so malleable and sweet. If Famine could she felt that she’d swipe many from their homes and teach them the right ways to the world. Her world. As for the parent's whos bloodied wrist, she saw hanging off the bed down the hall she couldn't care less. Her job was to just kill them after all… But. what did unease famine was that her work had been completed for her and by the still fresh scent of iron in the air…? The slaughter was recent. The assailant could still be around, though Famine held little fear, confident in her abilities. Her steps were quiet as she stepped around the hall, unaware of what still lurked in the silent home

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
With a sigh she would lower her hands and look at the woman with great disdain, "So what is a puppet of Eris here for? Here to kill a marked? Or are you simply here by coincidence?" She knew little of what to expect as it were but at least she had some inhuman abilities left though the lack of Ouroboros and worst of all Azazels death left her with some problems. Keeping her eyes on the woman and regardless of her answer she would give a calmed sigh and speak again in a very neutral tone, "Now then, I suppose I am wondering some details from you Famine, mainly in the details of your reasons for being here and most importantly, if you plan to kill me."

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
Stepping down the hall in the direction of a crackling disturbance, Famine kept a hand in the satchel that kept her spell-tome concealed--as though she was ready to draw the weapon in a moment. Sure enough when Famine stepped forwards enough and the shadows rolled off her face as she passed a window to approach the suspect she caught a prevalent look of shock on her features. This caused Famine’s own visage to shift into a sly smirk and raised a brow.
“Oh, I feel like you already know who I am.” The basilisk cooed watching the shifting look on the strangers face, tracking the thoughts as they passed behind their blue eyes.
“Equals,” She insisted with a narrowing of her eyes, giving the spider's a present look of distastefulness. “We hold a contract and to kill you?” she laughed abruptly, raising her fingers to her smirking lips. Killing another lowly criminal would hardly bring her praise. “Only if I’m getting paid to, besides you’ve...already done a job for me it seems--- albeit far to messily for my satisfaction.” [/b][/b]Famine queried back, flatly insulting her penmanship. As to be expected from…. A Savage Skull mage it looked from the work down emblem on their hand.
“I have no reason to remain in this home, nor to share more details with the likes of yourself.” The wind outside howled, as though calling her to retreat home now that a task, originally to be completed by herself, was complete. Famine tuned a shoulder as though to pace back into one of the rooms and out the window she came, but stopped in place, azure eyes scanning the limp forms of the couple in their beds across the hall as though it raised a change of heart. “Though, maybe if you elaborated on your...methods. Maybe I could give you one answer or two.” Famine muttered, her back still to Sayrn.

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
While she was fully ready to have to kill this woman or at least make her best attempt to do so the sounds and heavy signs of mages moving through the area began to sound, "Oh good... Infinity Hydra..." She sighed and had a distaste for dealing with them as she simply pulled out a dagger, "Most likely acting on the legal job sent out to deal with the man too, the original sender was hoping to get this done one way or another no matter who got hurt." A lack of magic was indeed a difficult thing to work with, but if her time in the multitude of guilds taught her anything it was that even the strongest mage can die if they are poisoned and their heart pierced.

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
Though Famine considered herself to have a relatively tough composure she found herself grimacing and wincing as she watched a blade she un-pocketed seemingly out of nowhere cut down her wrist like warm butter and crimson roll down her palm, between her thimble fingers and onto the ground between them where the drop it burned through the carpet with the precision of a laser beam and a small plume of steam rose from the hale along with the scent of burnt rug.
Famine’s face soon snapped back to her flat composure as her eyes moved away from the blood and back to Sayrn’s features, watching her lips, raising a brow in silent inquiries as she listened closely to the variety of words that left her lips.
“I think I get the picture now.” She finished flatly once she finished the monologue. Acidic blood, A former Savage Skull mage, News of legal mages.
“Well, the jobs already are done and dealt with, I might as well be off to collect that reward before any of them then, right. I hope you don’t plan on wasting any of your time cleaning up, they will discover the ask done either way don't they?” She was already pacing back towards the window.

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
Soon the sounds of the mages could be heard in the building though much further away as Sayrn looked at Famine and sighed, "Look, I made mistakes, and a pact with a goddess of chaos has thrown my entire life into disarray, my personality warped and now I have no place left, so I will ask, is Basilisk Fang open to a new member? I have medical training of all kinds." She was desperate as was, and the ever creeping members of Infinity Hydra were only more pressure, perhaps her rage was building due to stress, or other factors.

Re: Snake and Spider (Private)
Famine had since popped open the screenless window, ready to whisk herself down regardless of the two-story drop, then the cold and firm clutch of Sayrn’s hand clasped her shoulder, her dark fingernails nails biting into her skin subtly. In her response. The maker mage short handedly whirled around and shrugged that ic grip of hers away. “Hands off until you buy the lady dinner first.” Famine put a humorous sentence together with a blunt undertone. As if what she said could of sounded more amusing--if she’d had a cup of coffee that morning. She brushed off her shoulder, primed her under nails as though to show Sayrn, to her, was insignificant that moment. “Never apologize for doing as you want, unless It’s against your guild creed. Just know that killing was pointless, a waste of your resources, time and that orphaned children are valuable. They make the best monsters when they grow up.” Famine explained, confident in her own raised child.
She gave a small grunt, azure irises glazing over the curvy female. “You've left your previous guild. Don’t you dare do that again if you come with me. It will be your….biggest mistake." Famine simply put, thinking over the skills she may have. Famine thought of Sol, how he’d been the closest thing to her doctor, how he’d treated her wounds that her magic couldn’t countless of times. Famine sighed “Come but do leave behind your sorrows, your baggage.” She hissed, but her tone was without malice. Sincere, Asking only for Sayrn’s strength, her skills to benefit the guild.
Now with a flick of her wrist, she watched the shadows clinging to the walls below bind and coil into a long thin black rope which she knelt and knotted around the radiator. She nudged her head forwards as though to usher the spider after the snake when she clutched the rope and slid out the window. They had a long trip ahead of them, and a lot more to discuss.
