Re: TO BEYOND AND STUFF Δ solo, job
Green, white and black headphones were placed firmly over the young woman's head, used to block out all the noise of everyday life and look unapproachable. Because, in her opinion, you wouldn't interrupt a person listening to music unless you are a truly horrible being. It happened quite often, one of the many reasons she dislikes people, humans especially. They are loud and obnoxious, constantly getting in your space and worst of all, try to make small talk. Gives me chills just thinking about it, truly horrible.
Sort of like a certain man she just did a job for, making some potions for his failing business. This is probably around the time he would be getting up from the anesthesia she gave him, glad she left before he could wake up. Delta couldn't stand dealing with him for another minute, how could people so annoying exist? So now she was still here in Hargeon Town, going to her original purpose for coming before she got sidetracked by potion making. That of which is receiving her passport, though she could get to place to place without a passport by doing so illegally, but it took more effort then just going and getting a passport and using that.
The teenager made her way up to a building, filled to the brim with people, everybody trying to get passports for themselves and there entire extended family, or so it seemed. Taking in a deep breath, she pushed open the doors, probably the only reason she made it in was due to her small stature and figure. The room was so loud she could hear some noise through her very insulated headphones. The scientist groaned, it was such a crowded area, it must've been way over the limit of how much people should legally reside in the room. For once she was happy that she was so petite and tiny, because she could more easily maneuver her way through the crowd. Gladly she didn't have to worry about the noise, cause the little bit that did leak in through her headphones wasn't too bothersome. The most trouble she was having was just trying to get through the sweaty and agitated crowd of people. Because no way was she going to wait at the end of this extremely long line.
The Nov still couldn't see the end of the line, and when she tried to get past this one person they just yelled at her and shoved her to the floor. Her headphones then got knocked off and broke, which pissed her off cause that was the only thing blocking out the noise and then later she would have to fix them. Grumbling, she rested on her knees, picking up the remains of her multi-colored headphones. She was done sneaking her way through the line, so I guess she would just have to do it the easy way. Even though bringing out a weapon in a government building probably wasn't allowed, she didn't really care. She had a sort of warped mental state, probably due to all the trauma she's been through and what she was taught during it. But her morals are to do whatever she wants as long as she wants it or if it benefits her in some way or another.
Summoning to the palm of her hand was an arrow shaped blade, though she didn't intend to use it for any fighting purposes. Though clearing up the crowd a bit was sort of tempting. But no, she reached out her not so long arm towards the ceiling. Then she triggered the grappling hook function that the knife had, then she retracted it, causing her to get pulled up from the crowd and swing over their heads. Delta would then make it vanish as she landed at the front of the crowd. A proud grin was on her expression, she adjusted her glasses as she heard the stress desk clerk call the next person up. Which now would be her due to her cutting in line. She made her way into the back and did the interview, asking her full name and age and other similar questions, taking her picture they sent her out as soon as it was finished being made. The young girl looked at her pamphlet for a few moments as she walked out of the building, before shoving it in her back pocket and pulling out a screw driver from another pocket to try and fix her broken headphones.
