Hi all~

As many of you may have heard, three of our guilds (Crystal Swan, Onyx Moon, and Black Rose) have been leaning towards shutting down. Their guildmasters have stepped down and requested to close the guilds. However, it wouldn't be fair to just leave so many members guildless who have found homes in those guilds! Therefore, we want your opinions. Do you want to keep the guild open? Do you want to keep the guild members the same, but rebrand the guild? Do you want all new guilds? In times of change, it's good to take suggestions from all our members on what they would want to change or improve! If you are a part of one of these guilds, please reply with any suggestions you may have (renaming, goal changing, color changing, all new guilds, etc.).

As well as rebranding, we are looking for new guildmasters for these guilds should they stay open. If you have a recommendation of someone currently in the guild who you think would make a good guildmaster, please DM a mod or admin onsite or on Discord.

We are working hard to settle everything in wake of all these changes, and we look forward to hearing from you all!

Welp, I know the original creator who made Crystal Swan wants it taken down, so I think we could possibly keep the members and just rebrand it? I know many CS members were cool with going a more mermaid theme, and I even made a quick guild mark for it. So if we wanted it to be like... Mermaid Cascade or Diamond Siren or something?

Black Rose's content belongs to me, and some of it to Kiru and Hikari. It will be removed and its contents are not permitted to be used. Please do not use the content or concept of Black Rose. This is my final wish as its GM.

I have stated this on Discord. I will be posting a thread detailing Sassi's departure from Black Rose, and she will then be guildless. (I will also edit her bio to show that) I'm supportive of all the staff that are stepping down from their GM roles. :)

Similar to Izayuki, Crystal Swan was made nearly completely by myself with the help of a few individuals, such as Madame Astrid, Special Snowflake, and Lester Drynedi. This means that the content and concept of the Guild itself belongs entirely to myself, and some them, making the contents not permitted to be used without our permission, especially without mine. Though the content is currently not able to be found on the site, if it still exists elsewhere, putting it back up would essentially be theft of work. At least, it would be in my eyes. I quit this site months ago, but please do not use the concept of Crystal Swan and its content. Thank you.

I understand that the price to form a guild is at it is for a reason to prevent the site having close to twenty guilds or something along those lines, but I think a problem with the guilds is a lack of diversity that just gotten way smaller. What I think would help is to either:

A) Reduce the cost of making a guild overall to 2,500,000. That would make it more plausible and reasonable to form.

Or

B) Allow the next few (3-5) guilds to start without cost.

Or

C) Create a quest/job that gives forming a guild as a reward.

This could open up doors again and allow for a more diverse group to chose from. Also with more guilds, odds are we'd have more then one or two enemy guilds, and hopefully some that aren't just Basilisk fang and Nightmare among the majority, some Legal on Legal and Independent on Independent, conflict could be interesting.

Edit: I am with Elvira and Theo for rebranding.too
