Nothing much had changed in the ways of her schedule, even after her and Erika's little 'vacation'. Well, to say it hadn't changed would be wrong. She was slightly more conscious about feeding herself, sleep, and bathing. But that was mostly because she didn't want to end up with a bullet in her head again. Once was enough. Sometimes, she could still feel the hole in her head...
As if suffering from a quick moment of trauma from the whole event the silvernette rubbed her fingers over her forehead, searching for the bullet hole that wasn't even there, like some kind of phantom pain.
No, despite Erika's valiant efforts Astrid was stubborn as a mule. A mule with anger issues. The time off from her duties had simply reminded her how much time she had wasted, and brought her into a state of panic and frustration. She knew where the thread mage was coming from, and she did appreciate how much she cared about her. But she didn't understand. She would never understand. Astrid could not tell her the reasons for her actions, why she was pushing herself so hard. Of course it was just in her nature to do such things, she was a hard worker who went above and beyond on whatever it was she was working on at the moment. But now that she was slowly dying? Well, the want to accomplish so much before she kicked the bucket had simply grown. There was so much to do, and so little time to do it. She had never seen the effects of the curse first hand, but from what her grandfather told her, it always came suddenly and without warning. Basically, she was lucky to even wake up each morning and still be alive. It was why she had to make every day count, and why she was so frustrated having to spend it on things she could care less about. Paper work? Wasting time for the magic council? She could be out exploring new sights and helping those around her. But instead she was stuck doing grunt work, and it was most likely going to be how she spent her last breath, on a sigh while she wrote out a check for water bills.

But today? Well, today was certainly different.
Soon after coming back from her most recent job request the elf received a text from Kaisto of all people. At first, she was tempted to just ignore it. She was tired, and honestly had just wanted to take the longest nap back in her own comfy bed. Plus you know, she was ignoring him after his fight with Lucius. It was the only way to get through to him how wrong he had been. But apparently the fellow dragon slayer didn't exactly get this. In fact, what he was asking for was something the guild master still could not gather her head around.
Astrid couldn't tell if he was brave, or just plain foolish.
The wizard saint spread her fingers outwards, loosening the hair band so she could loop it over the thick grouping of hair in her hands. After a few loops she tightened and released it, revealing the high ponytail she just made.
A fight. Kaisto had asked for a fight. It was a weird thing to ask, especially for someone who was two entire ranks above you. If she wanted, she could probably flick him on the forehead and end the fight right then and there. But she was not that cruel, and would give him a... Rather fair fight.
She did not know why he was asking for a fight of all things. Astrid rarely dueled with people besides Sirius, as fighting was usually her first solution to everything. In fact, she was even tempted to either ignore his text completely or respond harshly. But when she did, the slayer found she could not. He wanted to make things up to her, by letting her beat the hell out of him. It wasn't a bad thought. She was rather angry these days, and ever since Sombra's mansion that small inkling to punch her way through frustrations had been more eminent in her mind.
    It was a friend duel.
... What was the worst thing that could happen?

Currently, the slayer awaited for him from inside the arena of Golden Phoenix's guild hall, sitting atop the elastic rope that surrounded the edges of it. Her black fingerless fighting gloves gripped onto them, trying to keep her balance and not fall off. The rest of her outfit was a little different from the norm too, not being one she wore that much, at least around here. A loose pink yoga top, plain black shorts, and bare feet. It was what she normally wore while training with Sirius on Terasu, since these gave way for a little more flexibility than her normal choice of clothing. The gloves? Were not necessarily what she wore a lot, and was mostly so her punches would hurt less. Cushioning, in a way. She wanted to beat him up, not kill him after all.
The elf leaned back, a neutral expression upon her features as she looked at the ceiling.
Why did boys like violence so much?

Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto] Empty Re: Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto]

Post by Caelum Pendragon 5th January 2018, 12:59 am

Well today was the day...the Day Kaisto...MAAAAAAYBE just possibly got a broken neck from Astrid...oh brother. Still that morning Kaisto woke up as normal and gotten ready though something was a bit off, he felt...slimmer then normal, guess the jobs were actually making him more fitter then he realized thats good though, he had sent Astrid a text message wanting to...well sorta attempt to apologize to her for the whole Lucius thing that happened a few months back, luckily he asked her to reply when she returned from her job and she finally did and agreed! This was sorta good and bad due to the fact that the fact that Kaisto agreed to basically fist fight her, and use magic in their fight as well...Astrid being a S rank mage she was very powerful, way more powerful then the B rank Dragon Slayer, oh well this was to show that he was willing to do anything to apologize.

He quickly got into the shower, after disrobing and started taking a nice warm shower to start the day, again...his body was feeling...more different it wasn't until that he got out of the shower and looked into the mirror did he realize what had happened! "Oh...my...god...NO! the spell...its stopped...it was suppose to last until...damn it its been over a year the spell was running on borrowed time!" he was in a panic as he looked around, see the thing was Kaistos appearance was basically altered do to advanced long lasting magic he had received before he joined Black Rose, what did it do? Well needless to say Kaistos real form was more...feminine, then original.

Kaisto looked at the time and quickly had to get dressed, though Bastet was gone to stay with Shizuka during this time while Astrid and Kaisto 'did a job' which was a lie, Kaisto quickly dashed into his room and had to find something to make him still look masculine and not reveal his true identity to Astrid, so he found the bindings he had made for him and quickly wrapped it around his chest...i know what your thinking but remember feminine body take a guess what its for. After he secured the bindings to hold over his 'chest' he found a nice tank top and slid it over and used it to mask the bindings, and soon found some good work out shorts that were masculine as well, before getting his shoes on and some white finger-less gloves that he slid over his hands as they secured snugly over them.

Soon came him getting his clothes for a change after this fight, he had secured a secret stash of clothes he hid from everyone that was of his true identity as he stuffed them into the dufflebag so that no one could see but...there was something obvious about Kaisto that Astrid would know is different, he looked into the mirror and sighed, no use in hiding the bright green hair, he could say it was a haircut was all maybe that would let it slide by her.

Now he had to get going, Astrid gave him something over a message that allowed him safe passage to Golden Phoenix from Phoenix Island. After Kaisto left his house he used his Dragon Slayer Magic to quickly fly to Phoenix Island, the clouds seemed different that day, like the day was brighter...was it because of his true form being out? who knows. But soon he landed on the Island and started the message to play to the Phoenixes it was he voice on loop telling the phoenixes to let him safe passage through, thank god Astrid did that or he would be in trouble.

After he reached the teleporter, he slid in and made it to the city that Golden Phoenix was over and prospered in, well he had been there before with Shizuka to take her back to Astrid, but he did his best to quickly go through the streets to the Golden Phoenix Guild Hall, when he entered he hid till he got to the Arena ring, he saw the squared ring with a certain silvered haired Elf sitting on top of the top rope, he sighed and took a gulp before laying his bag down and made his way to the ring and slid into the ring through the second and third rope as he looked at her and exhaled a bit "I'm here Astrid, im ready too" he spoke hiding his reverting voice as well, luckily he was able to hide that better then his hair, but he was ready and he was willing to get this fight started, he didn't care if his bones were broken, he would apologize one way or another to her.

Growing bored of waiting and having nothing else better to do Astrid began counting the tiles on the ceiling above her. They were a little hard to make out, given that the space outside of the arena was rather large, almost the size of a large warehouse. But well if you were going to fight with magic powers, the space had to be big in order to have some breathing room with all the chaos. How fair would a fight be if you were trapped in a cramped, tiny room? Especially if you specialized in long ranged magic. It wouldn't be fun. Plus it allowed for a cooling draft every once in a while, which was also good if you were going to be fighting and exerting so much energy. It gave less reason to end the fight because someone was getting all hot and bothered.
"Two hundred and forty seven, two hundred and forty eight, two hundred and forty nine..." she continued to count in her head. This was the third time she was doing this, as with all the times before she completely lost her place and had to start all over again. Which in all honesty wasn't surprising. At least she was more rested than she was six months ago. If Kaisto was fighting her back then, she probably wouldn't have even made it to the ring. The time upon the ship had really helped her sleeping patterns, even if she was still somewhat cheating them sometimes. But it was way better than before nonetheless.
"Two hundred and ninety eight, two hundred and ninety nine..." Just before she could reach the three hundred mark, which was the highest she had gotten to before starting again, a light voice tore her attention away. She was a little irritated with it, seeing as how she was about to beat her own record. But given the sight she was met with when she looked forward to see who had entered the ring, she was quite shocked. Given how girlish it was, she was expecting to see a small woman. But instead, she was met with Kaisto... Well, what she assumed was Kaisto. The green hair almost caught her off guard for a second, but once she stared long enough she could recognize his soul data. It was him... Different... But him. Violet eyes blinked and lips parted, trying to understand what she was looking at. The dragon slayer seemed to look a little different from the last time she saw him. To start, his hair was green. And other than that, he seemed more slender and curved. Almost, kind of like a girl. A very girlish figure. Not to mention that voice from before was also more light and delicate.
After a few moments of looking him over, Astrid forced her jaw closed.
"Er... Kaisto. Going with a new look?" she asked, head tilting to the side. Gosh, gone for six months and Kaisto had almost completely changed. Time really did fly.
Maybe he was one of those new transgender people she was hearing so much about these days. Was Kaisto so unhappy with his sex that he wanted to change it? Wow, the thought was kind of sad. Astrid had no idea the slayer was so uncomfortable with his own body. He never gave off that kind of aura before. Perhaps he was experimenting. If so, he would need a lot of support. Oh, what a hard life he must have had, hiding his true sex all this time. He was truly brave to be sporting how he really felt after all this time so out in the open for all to judge.
Just at the thought of her friend fighting the system to express himself after all this time the elf's eyes began to water, and she hopped off the rope to grab onto his shoulder as a supportive gesture.
"I-I'm so proud of you. Just know you can be anything you want to be, and no one can tell you otherwise. I'm here for you." She sniffled, squeezing his shoulder at the last part.

Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto] Empty Re: Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto]

Post by Caelum Pendragon 31st January 2018, 12:43 am

'Kaisto' had came in to seeing Astrid counting the rafter beams...and apparently she had gotten very far, what was it at like over 200, so yeah that was a lot up there but after she looked at him she had a strange look upon her face, she looked like she was taken back and a bit sad....but why in the world would she be sad?? would it be what happened between them? but soon it actually occurred to 'Kaisto' .

"W-wait wait what??" looking at Astrid and then down he realized her real self was showing through way more...the magic was basically running out faster then anything, she could only dare try to hide her feminine voice, crap this was getting harder and harder, well except her chest...bad thing was her true form had a but of a flat chest...oh joy and rapture, the only way Astrid would know for real that she was a girl would be that if she grabbed her chest and THAT was not gonna happen at all that would be very bad in so many ways and that would be very awkward too!

"A-Astrid no no im not like that...i mean no not at all" she blushed bright red as she looked at her friend and then looked away "S-So...are we doing like fight fighting or like MMA or Boxing style i know we just agreed to fight but not styles" she scratched her cheek through the black fingerless gloves, her mind still flustered from what Astrid said earlier to her as she was trying to keep calm in and on the outer of her exterior too. her bright green hair trying its best to hide a pink blush of embarrassment on her face, her petite feminine frame there in front of the fellow dragon slayer, very actually nervous about her true form being exposed to her long time friend but nervous on how it would actually be received by everyone including Astrid and not mistaken as being transgendered but actually...a girl.

The reason why her true form was being shown was cause years back when 'Kaistos' village was attacked by slavers, she was terrified and ran, yes she wanted revenge but that couldnt happen where she was a young kid. Years of being on the run made her go from town to town, forest to shore and country to country, she was terrified that the slavers would find her and she wouldn't be able to actually to defend herself or beat them at her current state.

But then one day she met a medicine woman, someone who lived in the woods and among nature, she did go to town to get her food and other stuff but still she was a medicine herbalist type lady, and when she met 'Kaisto' that one day she was told her predicament, so for the next week she studied and finally found a way to change her appearance by combining herbs and magic. Together it gave her a new look all together, and for the time a new gender, The magic and herbs together were a bit of a hassle to do and the woman said it was a one time thing, but she gave her a time limit to it, she expected 'Kaisto' to be able to fend for herself and become a stronger woman in two to three years time, when the time came...the magic would ware off and 'Kaisto' will have the courage to be able to face the fears shes had for all of these years...well it looks like that time has came and 'Kaisto' needed to truly be who she was and she had to stop running from her past, that past had cause her to hide herself for over two years and damn it, she may not be comfortable but she had to buck up and at least try, hell she was a mother now too, what mother and role model would she be for Shizuka if she kept lying no, no more she had to show the courage she had gained after all of this time

..... of course that would be AFTER she would be nearly having a panic attack at the thought of having her neck snapped by Astrid Foss... but she did have to admit...she did look cute and fierce...NOPE cant be thinking like that with a broke neck looming on the horizon!

Post by Guest 8th February 2018, 9:43 am

Even though Kaisto denied any of it, Astrid knew better. Her friend was tormented about his gender identity, and even now he tried so hard to hide it from her. He was caught up, and unsure of what he wanted. To be be afraid of society and hide who he truly is, or to live care free. Astrid's thoughts? Well, obvious she was all for expressing. People shouldn't have to hide what they feel is right on the inside, it was no way to live a life, nothing but a lie. So even though he was obviously nervous about the whole thing, Astrid would leave it be. He was already having enough trouble as it was, you know, trying to find himself and all. He would not need an overbearing friend to embarrass him. Instead, she would wait in time for him to tell her himself, when he felt more confident about everything. As for now? Well, she would support his tough journey from the side lines and offer him a role of support. She would have continued to support him with kind words and an amazing speech about how you shouldn't be afraid to show the true you despite society's judgmental gaze, it seems he was growing uncomfortable, and would rather move on to their actual fight. As a kind of 'i understand' gesture the elf nodded her head gently in acknowledgement and removed her supportive hand from his shoulder. She took a second to wipe a finger across the bottom of her eye, flicking away the built up tears still stuck to her lashes.
"Well, as for fighting styles..." She paused her words. Wait, what fighting style were they going to use? Astrid could not remember if they even agreed to any terms. It was just a fight. A raw fight. They had built no structure to it. For all she could know this could be a death match... Which might end up just being that anyway...
Purple orbs gazed up to the dragon slayer, leaning back into the ropes to hold her up. "We never agreed to the terms in the text, but i had assumed magic was allowed. It's why i picked this location." She explained, gesturing with her thumb to the large and open arena they were currently in.
"Unless you want a fist fight. That way i could maybe knock some sense into you" a small, dark smile edged on the corner of her lips, cracking her knuckles menacingly against the palm of her hand. No, she had not forgotten the reason for this fight in the first place. Kaisto needed to learn and get what he did wrong, and she doubted Bastet gave him the full scolding when they got home that day. She assumed since the goddess got shot by him and all, she would be more bias towards her brother than anyone else in this situation. But Astrid? Well she had no bias. Sure, Lucius was her brother and she loved him beyond all else. But when he did wrong, she was not against going to town on him. He knew that too, which is why he never really did anything anymore. At least not in front of her. In this case, they were both equally at fault. And Astrid wanted to make sure they got the same amount of punishment.

Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto] Empty Re: Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto]

Post by Caelum Pendragon 14th February 2018, 11:52 pm

'Kaisto' blinked as she tilted her head as Astrid wiped away the tears she had forming from her eyes. She wasn't sure why she was crying still...hopefully she would explain this after the whole ya know 'lets kill ya for what you had done months ago' death sentence that she just basically gave herself really right now. Oh ancestors what has she done...

'Kaisto' looked at Astrid when she had said that she had picked this location cause she had suspected to use Magic during their fight, hey that would make sense really, but then 'Kaisto' heard her say that she was willing for them to basically fist fight, she had to remember she didnt look like Kaisto anymore she was more so looking like her real self, but taking a breath she held up her fist for Astrid to see "Well! id say lets do both! Mix it up a bit, we can use magic and still beat the hell outta each other" she said with a confident tone, she was hoping to surprise Astrid with the confidence, she wanted to show that she wasn't scared to face the higher ranked mage and wasn't afraid to trade blow for blow against her as well.

But before she would go to her 'corner' of the ring so they can fight, 'Kaisto' smiled and then quickly gave Astrid a hug, the Sky Dragonslayer smiled a bit as she did so "Thank you Astrid, i appreciate you taking your time for this, i really thank you" 'Kaisto' then let her go as she then walked to her corner were she bounced a bit on her feet ready as she jabbed the air with her finger-less gloves as her shoes patted the ring canvas as 'Kaisto was still feeling a bit of anxiety and nervousness but at the same time she was feeling confident and ready for this, she wanted her and Astrid to start over on a new page, a new leaf...if anything NOW would be a great start given the circumstances that have arisen right on this day...heh what could go wrong?

Truthfully Kaisto, well hell i should actually use her real name, Caelum, i dont know was sorta really excited, she knew they were gonna duke it out but still she wanted to ask her something after this fight...like for instance why does she think that shes still a boy well transgendered...it wasn't like those weird books people read were a character was like girl looking but was actually a boy, in fact it was the opposite she hoped really that nothing would kinda shock the Light Dragonslayer when she told her after the fight, she also kinda shivered at the thought of those books cause she really thought they were very misleading, but i digress, still Caelums looks were her own...mainly all of it. She then called back to Astrid "Hey Astrid! before the bell rings, just wanna tell ya...dont hold back this is gonna let out our frustrations out, i wanna see your best you got ok"

Post by Guest 19th February 2018, 7:52 pm

Kaisto did not seem to get the severity of the situation at hand. Whatever dark and menacing aura that was held around Astrid didn't not seem to make him flinch. At least, not on the outside. Normally? People would be pissing their pants by now. Astrid had a natural way of injecting fear into her enemies, at least in times where she was angry like this. But Kaisto? He either didn't feel it, or was just playing cool. Astrid would give him credit where credit was due. Even Lucius was scared to death when she threatened him like that. But instead of begging for this life, Kaisto... Hugged her. The embrace was sudden, and unexpected. Make no mistake, Astrid didn't hate hugs, not in the slightest. In fact most times she would greatly prefer taking a hug over a punch. But when the slayer was so tired and stressed? She didn't exactly feel the same way.
She tensed at his touch, looking over him with a confused expression. She took in his words, but did not reciprocate the gesture. If she did? Well, she might just accidentally choke him out right then and there. The silvernette was still pissed, even after all this time. She knew that, and she hated it. She hated hating a good friend. It was frustrating, feeling a person you once trusted so much touch you, only to be reminded of their actions. If she had no control? She would suplex him into the ground right then and there. But she did have control, at least a little bit of it remaining. She wanted to trust him again, but it would take time for that same trust to rebuild.
In a weird way, this fight was a way of trust. Kaisto trusted her to not kill him, and she trusted him to do the same. Perhaps that is why Kaisto asked for it. He knew she was so much more powerful than him, and he wanted to show he still trusted her, even if she didn't fully trust him. The slayer could break his arm in one tug and he thought it was a good idea to challenge her. There were many other ways he could make it up to her, but he chose a suicide route. She wasn't sure if it was poetic, or idiotic.
Instead of hugging back, Astrid merely used a hand and patted him upon his head. "It's no problem, really" she gave an awkward smile.
Thankfully, a moment later she was released from the awkwardness, and it allowed her to slink over to her corner and wait for the fight to begin.
During the last few moments, the slayer would stretch her arms out and twist them around, loosening up her joints. Astrid was mostly magic based. She didn't often do melee, as she saw no need for it when you can more easily punch someone with magic and get a better result than punching them with your bare fist and not achieving anything. This left her melee knowledge limited, but not entirely unknown. Elyx had taught her a lot of self defense moves from the time she was guided under him. It wasn't a lot, but it could prove useful for a fight that wasn't supposed to be taken seriously.
Upon Kaisto's words, she nodded her head, a small grin etching onto her lips as she prepared her stance. That's right, she wasn't going to hold back. Not at all. "That goes for you too." She was confident with her magic ability. Not overly so to get cocky, but training with Sirius made her feel like a true dragon slayer. It was what she needed after years of going untrained and having to guess if what she was doing was right.
Kaisto would see what she has become since their first meeting on that train.
A cold silence filled the arena, before a metallic ding echoed, signaling the two to clash.
The elf did not waste any time. In a brief moment she would disappear in a silver flash and then reaper not even a second later in front of the man, allowing her lifted leg to become covered in light and attempt to use the heel of her foot to crash down onto his head.

'Kaisto' well Caelum smiled hearing Astrid was very ok with the two of them trying to at least start fresh with this fight, this was their way of trying to wipe the slate clean with it as well. She nodded hearing Astrid tell he not to actually hold back, oh boy, she was really gonna have to show Astrid that she could hold her own and fight the Light Dragon Slayer at this. She didnt waver though she was ready and willing to definitely show her best friend she was gonna be able to handle her.

That was until she heard the metalic bang of the bell which snapped her from her stupor as she blinked and soon enough she saw her friend rush at her and strike at her with a fast as hell as she rose blinked quickly behind the silvernette as she then would reappear and grab Astrid as she then would attempt to do a release german suplex on her to send her back first across the ring, see the thing was where Astrid wasnt good at melee but extraordinary at magic, Caelum was more balanced having fist fought with creatures and humans alike. Though after releasing the Light Dragon Slayer, if it succeeded, she would then speed towards as she then would try and jump and double stomp towards the chest of Astrid hoping to try and drive the air quickly out of her lungs.

Between the two really, this would be a match up that really not a lot of people would see coming but at the same time it needed to happen in a way between the two they probably secretly wanted to test one another, see how much stronger they got over the 6 months, and to see which one would win in the magical brawl, to see if one will tap, or possibly even be knocked the hell unconscious by the others power, either way the true test for Caelum to prove her willingness to go against her friend and take the beating she knew was coming.

Astrid had assumed the sky dragon slayer would dodge the attack. Of course he would. It was either dodge or try to block. But as a lower rank mage than Astrid, Kaisto wouldn't be able to take one of her hits straight on. Her kick would just end up going right through it, breaking it with only the simplest of touches. So was his own mistake, of challenging such a higher ranked mage. Not that lower rank mages didn't have any chances at all going against higher ranked ones. But it was very difficult to say the least. You needed to be very prepared. Astrid doubted that Kaisto had enough time to prepare for this fight. His message can off as rambling, and poorly worded, like he had thought of it only the day before he sent it. Not to mention sky dragon slayer magic was very supportive, and not good with defense or offense. Not that a support magic couldn't be powerful. If thought out correctly anything could be powerful. But as a more balanced out magic, Astrid had an advantage over him in more ways than one. Rank, magic, training habits. But actually thinking that? The elf would think she was bragging, and she was not one to brag. However, in this case, she had to think about these things. She wanted to beat him up, not kill him. Knowing how much he would be able to take was essential part of how she was going to fight him. She never wanted to have enough life's blood spilled onto her hands. It was a friendly fight, not a death match. Her anger towards the man would need to be kept in check. She would not lose herself to her inner emotions.
Knowing he would have no other choice but to dodge the light slayer allowed her kick to hit nothing but the air in front of her. Prepared for this, she used the forward momentum to turn herself around and face Kaisto who was now behind her. She was able to sense his soul as he dodge to the side in a breeze of rose petals, hence why she could tell where he was positioning himself. It was a nifty trick, now that she was getting better at sensing souls and their intentions. You could tell a lot by a soul just by reading its aura. Personality, movements, thoughts, intentions. Even smaller things like history and emotions. A lot was in a soul, and a soul was a very hard thing to change. It was why even when people changed appearance completely Astrid was still able to tell who or what someone was. It took a madman to mess with something as intricate and detailed as their own soul, their own identity. If they did, they had a terrible chance of messing something up, even possibly erasing their own existence.

With her trained knowledge, she also assumed he was going to try for another attack once he dodged. Along with her lightning fast reflexes, she was able to make sure this assumption wouldn't come to be. Instead of letting him grab onto her ducked down and allowed a silver light to consume her body, starting from her forehead and then quickly flowing down to her feet. The starting point, of the forehead, turned into a white glaze as she then shot back upward and bashed her forehead into Kaisto's. If this hit he would feel an intense pain, and be knocked back by a couple of feet. She would then take this stunned opportune moment to dig her foot into the floor, the light covering her body still pulsating with a thin covering over her skin. Springing off her foot she would dash forward quickly, preparing a punch. She brought her arm backwards, covering it in a bigger burst of light, aiming for his torso to deliver a big blow.

Post by Caelum Pendragon 3rd April 2018, 1:26 am

See the thing was Yes, Caelum did have to consider the fact that Astrid was two ranks higher then she was. BUT that was the thing, it proved that she was still willing to actually put her safety on the line to prove her point to Astrid. There was also another fact, where she was lower in rank she knew Astrid had to hold a bit back to try and not seriously injure Caelum but she also had to try and meet Astrid on her own level as well, she had to try and match her power and speed and magic, basically she had to match the full nine yards with the light dragon slayer to keep herself up on par with her, hell that was the point it was to show she was gonna let Astrid vent...if she got one shot right now then then that wasn't gonna look good at all for her and her word.

WELP! Speak of the damn white devil...thats not racist was it? She felt her head collide with Astrids as she would do her best to resist it staring Astrid in the eyes a bit defiantly before being thrown back a few feet from the collision, as she skidded across the ring as you could hear audible grunts from her coming to a stop. After the Sky dragon slayer stopped rolling and finally came to a stop, she would grunt a bit dazed but more so aware from the shot, that was the good thing about having the attribute of sky, you were quicker to recover from ailments inflicted by magic and physical, but Astrid could physically see on the forehead was a bruise already forming but as well as a small cut from the impact across her nose bridge, luckily it wasnt broke, just a small bleeding cut as it would be seen drizzling down her face as a part of her battle wounds, but other then that she was perfectly fine.

Though from Caelum's vision she would see her friend hauling ass at her before bringing her arm back to try and land a huge blow against Caelum. Caelum couldn't take two in a row, she was to thick headed to just stand there and take it she was....defiant or rebellious...or maybe just stupid? Though she had to fight back, so as Astrid got close to landing the blow Astrid would get a good look of that defiant look...but a look of having fun from this fight between the two friends, as she would use her speed to side step as she would take a deep breath with in and make her left fist be covered in sky magic as she looked to deliver a very hard left hook to the unprotected right side of her face, particularly right on that fleshy cheek part and under her eye to try and send her skidding like she did Caelum just earlier. If it worked it would send Astrid flying away from her, she knew it wouldnt daze her but it would definitely give her room, and she knew that magic was allow so she would speed towards Astrid quickly as she then would look to jump launch towards Astrid aiming to to fake her out with a punch but try and land a knee shot to the elves toned abdomen, Caelums knowledge of fighting could be the one thing that could maybe help her out since she knew her friend was more magically based then physically...but damn that forehead smash was something, she knew Astrid had to be getting better, whether or not it was from Lucius or maybe this Erika girl Shizuka told her about...or maybe she took fighting to relieve stress, she wouldn't know till after this match.

Astrid was not aware of how Kaisto could have handled that forehead jab so casually. Despite being hit straight on and skidding back a couple of feet, he seemed unaffected where as most others would have fallen onto their sides, clutching their foreheads and started to cry. The white dragon's horn ram was a rather powerful attack, condensing her power into one spot on her head and then dashing forward, using the momentum to clash their heads together and send the powerful shock of magic right into their head and mind. It was an attack used to confuse and daze the opponent, while also hurting them immensely as it felt as though their entire skull would break under the pressure. But Kaisto, however, seemed to shake the effects off effortlessly. Colored her impressed. The elf was sure he would have felt the pain just as well as everyone else who had fallen victim to her attacks. Maybe he really just was hard headed. That, or there was simply just nothing in there to hurt to begin with.
Either way, despite the horn ram not working quite as she hoped in dazing him, he at least took the attack straight on. His forehead started to bruise, and a bloody cut formed against the ridge of his nose. He wasn't going to be able to take a lot of those attacks straight on.
But the silvernette's confidence would end up being her downfall.
Dashing forward with all of her speed, she was unable to stop herself once the man side stepped out of the way of her punch. Her hit once again only met air. Red eyes widened as she realized what he was doing, stopping on her heels and try and turn herself around to launch another attack, but it was too late. A wind covered fist met her cheek. It didn't send her back, since the attack itself was weak compared to her own rank, but it didn't mean it didn't hurt at least a little bit. The slayer bit back as her face retracted with the punch, gritting her teeth together as her cheek began to sting. A small, red mark was sure to form there soon... Holding onto her cheek with one hand she would look up for the other slayer, but not quickly enough as his knee met her stomach. The knee to the gut stole all the breath from out of her chest, her mouth parting open to release painful groans that would never actually come out, her insides taking a horrid hit as they pulsated with pain. She took a step back, holding onto her stomach with both arms, before her reddened gaze narrowed. Finally taking one sharp breath in the elf would stomp one foot onto the ground, causing a silver pulse to cast out through the area. If caught up in it, it would send Kaisto back a couple of feet near the edges of the arena. Gathering up light into her mouth Astrid would twist her head before releasing it in the direction of the wind user, using the throw back of the pulse to her advantage at the male would surely not have enough time to recover after the first one in order to try and dodge the roar. A double whammy, in other terms.

Caelum would notice that Astrid would slam her foot down on the ground as she saw the pulse start rippling across the ground, she knew that it was bad news as she she bounce and bounded away till she got to the edge of the ring as she jumped back to the top of the corner ring post, you know like a high flying wrestler, wellll that wasn't the case here, as she landed on the top of the post she then realized that Astrid was charging and sending a Dragon roar at her which made her yelp and start to jump.

As she jumped away from the blast a bit of it caught the back of her shirt and a bit of her back too, making her gasp in pain as the roar hit the wall behind the ring making a bit of a blast radius that Caelum felt ripple through her body as she was flung off to the side of the ring making her bounce on the floor, as she would audibly grunt and groan after hitting the floor, her back a bit scratched up and bruised from being hit even from a bit from the roar and aftershock... 'Damn it' she thought 'this isn't going ok...but i did ask for this not really any..any choice to back down and be a coward now'.

Caelum then started crawl towards the bottom of the ring as she grabbed the bottom rope to pull herself up as she rolled back in as she panted getting herself winded...heh air jokes...she slowly got to her knees as she panted and smirked at Astrid, Caelum smiled at her friend as she chuckled even as more blood drizzled down her face from the cut on her nose"Ha! Good one Astrid...Good combo...though after this you care to stitch the shirt for me" she chuckled as she then pulled herself up to her feet and ran at Astrid as she then looked to jump at her with two flying knees to the elves chest with heavy winds that would feel like a hurricane striking her, as landed on her feet, Caelum looked to basically introduce Astrid to some hand to hand fighting as she took her gloved fists and started to try and hurl a few hooks and crosses at the Elves body and face looking to maybe give Astrid a few bruises and cuts in return for hers, she did say fight with a mix of magic and physicality so Caelum would definitely looked to go at it now on a physical level even if her body was aching heavily as they weren't holding back during this fight...and that's the way Caelum liked it, they both had things to get off their chests, more so Astrid then Caelum and Caelum was willing to help her even if it did make her bleed...or possibly eat through a straw for a bit...either way she figured this would be the best for both of them really.

Astrid was still in the process of trying to catch her breath after the air dragon slayer had quite literally knocked the wind out of her with the punches. She was a little surprised Kaisto could hit her so quickly. The elf was renown for her speed, simply known as the 'Silver Flash' in some parts. She was capable of crossing an entire ocean in a little under a few hours. So anyone who could hit her in battle, was either lucky, or was just as fast as she was. Though considering the male was an air mage, it would make a little sense. Air mages were known for speed, using the winds around them to enhance their natural abilities. The kick to the stomach and the quickly ability to jump and dodge her attacks had led the silvernette to become more aware of her friend's capabilities. She was not going to win this one with speed. So instead of speed, she would use something else the white dragon was known for. Its magical strength.
A shining crimson gaze watched as Kasto managed to jump up onto the ropes of the arena to dodge the pulse. But that was fine. The pulse was meant as nothing more than a mere distraction anyway. Her main attack, the dragon roar, was the main star of the show this round. And much to her pleasure, it worked like a charm. The mage was so caught up in trying to dodge the pulse that covered the ground that he did not see the straight line of light in time. Though missing the center of the attack as he prepared to move out of the way, the beam of silver light managed to hit his back, scorching his clothing, leaving a large tear, as well as a nasty burn mark onto his skin. There was a reason the dragon's roar move was a signature with dragon slayers. It was one of their more powerful and widely renown attacks. To get hit by one, was almost death in of itself. Thankfully for Kaisto, he managed to dodge a good chuck of it, meaning he wasn't going to be pushing up daisies today. But he was at least going to be feeling a good burn for a while, which was good for Astrid. It would maybe distract him enough so she could have the upper hand.

The slayer watched as the man rose to his feet, the cut he had gotten from her headbutt still dipping with fresh blood, leaving small droplets both down his face and on the floor. She would have to remember to get someone to clean this up later, before it stained.
At this comment, Astrid allowed a reflective smirk to inch onto her own lips. "Gladly. But i'm afraid if you want some stitches for those wounds you're going to have to look elsewhere."
Prepared for the launch of attacks Astrid stood firm, crossing her arms together in front of her protectively, allowing a thin layer of light to cover her body. The other dragon slayer's attack would bounce right off of the thin layer, each one landed being simply absorbed by the glowing light. Once this barrage of punches would cease Astrid would then step back slightly, engulfing her fists into pulsating light before returning with her own endless supply of fury punches towards the man, her fists going so fast it would be hard to even keep track of them as they seemed to be everywhere at once. Right at the end, if any hits landed right or not, the silvernette would sneak in one final attack. At the last second she let her right arm become covered in a rainbow light before it would slice across the man's chest. It would tear his clothing most likely, and leave a glowing scratch of multi colored lights across his skin, dealing damage over the next couple of minutes.

Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto] Empty Re: Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto]

Post by Caelum Pendragon 2nd May 2018, 1:50 am

Caelum huffed as she and Astrid started trading blows, she actually surprised that Astrid would be willing to actually go toe to toe with Caelum even though she wasn't much of a fighter unlike her brother...Caelum still doesn't like Lucius but that is another issue for another time. Obliging to this Caelum started to have a green light envelop her fists as well, She brought up her guard trying to block off the furry of strikes from the more petite girl as she then came in looking to send a heavy right handed fight at Astrids left side of her face, mainly at her brow area before trying to get a quick uppercut with the left at Astrids chin, putting in much more force behind the punches even though she was still weaker then Astrid.

But the cost of Caelums attacks did cost her a bit, Astrids quick attacks slammed into Caelums ribs driving some air out of her lungs before a few slammed into her cheeks causing her head to snap from side to side from the force, as red marks formed on her cheeks as a small spray of sweat as well blasted off her face showing that these two have been going for a while, well over thirty minutes now, with them both being Dragon Slayers, they had better stamina then most so 30 minutes to them would be like 2 hours for the regular person.

Soon enough though that sneak attack of Astrids paid off as it hit Caelums chest down the middle as she gasped in pain but also embarrassment as she realized that, damn it that was the worst possible thing to happen, there was a cut on her chest as she could feel it start hurting her as she back away a bit but luckily the clothes were still standing even though the open ripped showed a bit of her chest she tried to play it off and cover it up een though Astrid maybe saw to before then. "Damn...that stings..." she was bleeding a bit but she huffed and took a deep breath as exhaled as the wind picked up around her as a bubble formed around her before it shattered as she felt a bit better, the wound fighting to stay open as the spell that Caelum casted was Rose Storm, it was trying to heal her over time while Astrids attack tried to hurt her over time...she probably didnt have enough time as it was hopefully her spell would work over time and help her.

Trying to get back into this in a bigger fashion, Astrid was definitely leading as it was and showing in the ways of the fight, Astrid barely has any wounds or scratches...hell she barely has a red mark across her face maybe a red mark over her abs but that was it, mean while Caelums clothes were ripped, she has some burn marks across her back, some bruising on her face as well! Now there was two cuts that were on Caelum too, one across her chest, and one over her nose bridge, luckily the spell had stopped the bleeding on the nose, but the chest one fought to stay open, magic vs magic which ever one won would basically maybe decide the outcome.

Looking at Astrid, Caelum smirked as she exhaled sharply as then rushed at her friend, something was a bit different with Caelum now, she was now faster and her magical powers increased now as well, but as Caelum went to attack Astrid she started spinning with kicks and punches, but as she did so around her ankles and wrists looked like ribbons?? Thing was the Ribbons were highly concentrated wind that were now lashing at Astrid, now she had to contend with not only physical attacks but magical wind lashes as well as they were aimed at the body and face of the Elf girl things were starting to ramp up and who would be the first one to enter Dragon force...and would Golden Phoenix be able to stay standing if these two titans of dragon power actually do clash in Dragon force?! This match would tell really as they were both were throwing everything they got at the two...but this was kinda....invigorating and relaxing for the two, they both had been stressed out and for Caelum even though her true self was shown...even though her clothes were ripped she didn't care she was letting stress out and it felt great!

Post by Guest 3rd May 2018, 3:39 pm

The hit upon his chest had been successful, landing without fail. The slayer swung her magic-covered arm across the man's front, tearing his clothing cleanly off in one big gash, as well as his skin. However, there was no blood, despite the sharpened point digging into Kaisto's flesh. No. Instead, there was simply a mark. A single claw mark comprised of all the glistening colors of the rainbow pulsated brightly where in any other case blood would be seeping out freely. The signal, that the smell was activated. Unluckily for the other dragon slayer, this was one of her rainbow based spells. An advanced spell. Signified by the colorful glow of the attack. All of the white dragon's advanced spells were rainbow based, in one way or another. A little flashy, one might think. But it was light magic, it was all flashy when you thought about it. And rainbows? Was basically just light as its most beautiful and strongest stage. So it would make sense that a light slayer would use these colors to their advantage. Good for the user, but bad for the opponent.
As soon as she felt her attack hit Astrid was quick to jump back a couple of feet in one fell swoop, not wishing to be caught off guard by another surprise attack from the other slayer. Though, in his state? Astrid didn't think he would have been able to do such a thing, given his condition. But it was always better to be safe than sorry, as she has learned over the past few years she has been a mage, a lot of people these days had plenty of surprises up their sleeves...
Astrid watched with a careful gaze as the winds around Kaisto started to become more ragged, rose petals forming into the air, seemingly healing him a bit the longer he stayed within it. Astrid was fine with this healing. Subconsciously, her own elven blood would be busy at working, healing both her health and physical wounds over the course of the battle. He was looking a little rough anyway, the slash across his chest still stinging and sapping at his health over time, even after he finished healing a bit. That was the thing about damage over time spells, they could be tricky to heal, as it would require constantly healing. He would hopefully have more healing spells in his arsenal, as she didn't exactly want a dead body on her guild's floor. Do you know how much that would cost to clean up? They didn't have that type of money in their budget. Of course, she didn't want to kill her friend either... But come on, they had just polished the floor in here.

As soon as he was done rejuvenating himself the barrage of melee attacks continued. It was very apparent by now that the air slayer much preferred to use his fists over magic. They were very different in that way. While she relied on her magic, Kaisto relied greatly on his raw strength. Both were skilled in strength, but they both used that knowledge in different ways. Though she supposed air dragon slayer was more supportive than anything, so most likely he had to live his life learning to use his magic to boost himself rather than it. Which made sense.
The light slayer, seeing as how this was a pretty predictive move, protected against the incoming attacks, even if they were slightly faster than before. With her fast wit she was able to use her hands to block the incoming kicks and punches, pushing each one away, even with the small air ribbons that now loosely clung to her wrists and ankles. Though they lashed and added more reach to the man, Astrid was able to flick them away with the rest of his attacks. Though at one point, one had managed to slip past her and flick her in the face. It stung, quite a bit, making her flinch, gasping in a sharp breath of air. Astrid faltered with this thwack, fumbling in her defensive tactic and now fell victim to the flurry of attacks. Punch after punch, kick after kick Astrid felt the constantly damage being placed onto her body. Her skin bruised from the hits, cuts laced her body, oozing silver blood down her wounds from the sharp wind. She wasn't sure how she was going to recover from this one. Kaisto seemed content in just continuing to hit her, not giving her a chance to break free.
    Was she stuck like this?
Was she going to lose again?
    Was she really this weak?
Did she learn nothing from her past?

    ...
These thoughts intruded the young elf's mind, before a feeling flooded into her system. A feeling so common, and so powerful, she did not even notice it taking over her thoughts.
    Anger.
    At herself.
    At the situation.
    At Kaisto.
Just so much anger, at everything. Everything was so unfair, everything enraged her. Everything happened enraged her so much, that she wasn't sure how to handle it. So she did not, and simply fell victim once again to her own emotions.
It clicked within her mind. Closed, wincing eyes opened, flashing a bright crimson red. The slayer acted quickly, reaching out her hand to hold firm onto the air slayer's foot. Catching it mid motion, she then pulled the man forward so her other hand also grasped on firmly, her grasp so hard one might think she could have snapped his leg at any moment. Using the pulsating and angry adrenaline Kaisto felt light as a feather as she flung him upwards into the air, keeping him there for a second before bringing him back down, slamming his body against the hard floor of the arena, her face contorted with twisted rage.
    Slam.
That was for Summer ditching her and leaving her to do all the work in this guild herself.
    Slam.
That was for Sombra almost killing her.
    Slam.
That was for these strange and newfound feelings she got from being around Erika.

That was for never being good enough.
    ...... Slam.
That was for never once belonging in the life she had.
    ........... Slam.
That was for never being able to tell anyone she wasn't okay.
    ................. Slam.

That...... Was for going through so much suffering and heartache just for wanting to live.
Progressively, after the slamming of Kaisto's body got weaker, so did she. She felt, relived. She felt, drained. She felt, as if a weight was getting lifted off of her shoulders. But at the same time, she was also facing some of her most deep and dark inner demons. Demons she pushed so far down, she didn't even realize she had.
Swinging him down one last time, Astrid released the man, breathing heavily as she tried to grasp her breath after raging so hard. Small beads of sweat sat upon her face and drenched her silver locks, being wiped away when she moved the back of her hand across her forehead. Still glowing red eyes stared down to the man. He was alive, of course, but most likely after that he wouldn't be getting up for a bit.

Maybe he had been right after all.
    Maybe she did need this.

Caelum felt good she was fighting back and actually scoring hits....her real goal was to just strive her away from the less experienced Dragon Slayer, but Caelum was actually doing good and she was actually fighting well too! That was all fine and dandy until Astrid just plucked him and started unleashing all of her rage.

Caelum would hit the mat repeatedly, hitting the mat over 10 times easily, each hit was like a wrecking ball, cuts and bruises formed on her more just like Astrid was receiving from Caelum with her lashing winds but soon she loosing consciousness as she was being flung like a ragdoll, but she didn't complain, she accepted it, she knew Astrid had so much pent up inside her but only some things she knew, anything else had to be some personal issues that Caelum had no clue about really but as the situation started to die down, Astrid weakly slammed Caelum to the mat one last time.

But even with that last one, Caelum seemed to be out cold, both girls were on the mat but Astrid was conscious while Caelum wasn't, she wasn't dead though not by a long shot. You would think that this was over until Caelums body twitched as she soon pulled herself up to all fours as she coughed up blood on the mat as she chuckled, her body inadvertently activated something in her to keep her alive as kinda a last ditch effort. She soon struggled to get to her feet as her legs wobbled and shook as she stood there, her breath was labored as the air swirled around her a bit, her form changing a bit in front of Astrid, as her ears became more pointed like her Elf ones, her eyes a bright green as her hair became longer but her clothing changed a bit too, into a more feminine outfit that was purple and showed off quite a bit of her upper body except what her chest was covered and that her shorts were more pink too.

Her wounds didn't heal though in this form as it walked over to her not to harm her but to kneel and hug her, to hug the friend she literally just fist fought minutes ago to let her know that she was there "its ok....you know I'll always be here for you Asty, you wont have to keep things bottled up no more, from now please let me help you" This form of Caelums was her Dragon Force mode, showing that she was more in-tuned to her dragon heritage then before but still the same person, she gently let up on her friend as she pressed her forehead against Astrids as Astrid would feel winds envelop her helping her wounds heal, she didn't care about Astrids bloodline or anything, she was more worried about Astrid the friend she came to know and care for as she wanted to show that she was more worried for her then herself. After Astrids wounds healed Caelum smiled as her Dragon Force slowly dissipated as she returned to normal, her body was covered in cuts and bruises still, one badly blackened eye and gash on her forehead/nose bridge area, her green hair matted by sweat and some blood from the gash, and a line of blood from the corner of her mouth as she smiled looking at Astrid, but more prominent then all of that was that on the right upper side of her rib/chest area, blood consistently drizzling and bleeding through her tanktop "that was rough...heh...i umm...don't feel to good, i haven't fought like this in a while in this body must not be used to it" as she soon coughed slightly in her hand to catch her breath after the whole ordeal only to reveal she coughed up blood...it was bad cause it meant her lung was punctured and there was a gash bleeding from where the blood was coming from and she was having a hard time breath, she was tired and didn't have enough magical energy to heal herself...even if she did the combination of the wounds was almost to much to heal on her own and Astrid could see that Caelum was in bad shape as the Sky Dragon Slayer sat back on her behind as she panted trying to catch deep breaths only to get half hitched ones to come through.

Post by Guest 16th May 2018, 2:58 pm

Smooth breaths were inhaled and exhaled through the slayer's lips as she stared at Kaisto, beaten and bruised on the floor. Despite having been angered enough to do this to him in the first place, Astrid knew he didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve to feel her anger straight on, no one did. Her anger was not directed at one sole person or thing, it was spread so thinly across multiple things that it was hard to say which one was the main problem. But out of all of them, Kaisto was defiantly not it. This, was why she didn't like fighting. It just hurt people that didn't deserve to be hurt. And with her anger issues? It only made it worse. Yet despite knowing her anger, having seen it first hand, the other dragon slayer still sought to make this fight happen anyway. And for what? Just so she could get some anger out? So they could test one another? No test was worth all these cuts and bruises. No test was worth getting broken ribs or bones. And yet despite having just suffered the beat down of his life, Kaisto still stood up, battered and bruised to hell. Blood from his various wounds dripped down his body, clothes tattered and worn down by the blasts. Despite almost dying, he was still smiling.
Astrid looked away from the man, guilt seeping through her system with every passing second that there was silence between them. She felt awful about what she just did, to one of her own friends. She hadn't meant to go that far. She knew what she had said at the beginning, about giving it her all. But she could never truly give it her all, because whenever she did it usually ended up with more hurt than it was worth. In a way, it was a lie. But a lie she had to keep up in order to not literally kill someone. This time, however, she had let herself down. She had given in to her emotions, something she tried so strongly not to do, and hurt someone she loved really bad. Sure, Kaisto had started a fight with Lucius. She was still annoyed with him about that, and he had started this fight to get her to forgive him... But now she was going to leave this fight not forgiving herself instead. It was a poor trade off.
the elven's girl's solemn expression only shifted slightly upon Kaisto's touch, wrapping his arms around her frame in a hug. She froze for a second, unsure of what to do, her crimson orbs shining with sadness. She couldn't exactly bring herself to hug him back, not fully anyway. But unlike last time, she would feel bad if she didn't return the gesture. So she did. She nuzzled her face into his shoulder, wrapping her arms around him lightly, just thankful he was so resilient despite her bashing. "You're an imbecile." A smile tugged onto the corner of her lips. "No one can help me but myself. However, your support is enough. I thank you for that." Astrid has always had trouble letting other people in on what she was truly feeling. Her struggles, her thoughts. She never wanted to be seen as a burden, or weak because of them. A simple request to make her share those wasn't going to change anything, she'd be lying if she said it would. It would take time, and effort if she were to do so. So instead, she would rather simply know her friends were there for her to fall back onto. It was what Erika tried to do with their little trip. And while the dragon had not succeeded in trying to make the guild master realize she was stretching herself too thin, she at least made her realize other people were willing to at least help in any way they could, even if not directly.
The slayer released Kaisto when he did the same to her, her face turning a bit red when he placed his forehead against her's. In a moment, her entire body felt warm. Or, warmer in this case, as she was still pretty sweaty from the fight. But it was nice warmth, a familiar warmth. The air dragon's healing warmth. Her body healed almost instantly as the dragon's shining light glided around her body, sealing up her wounds and cuts in no time at all. Her elf blood could have done the same, but she wasn't about to argue against the gesture. If anything, this was a sign of peace between the two. They were even now, she supposed.

The other slayer let go and retracted himself from her forehead, giving Astrid more courage to look him more in the eye now that she knew he wasn't mad at her for almost killing him. Still, his sorry state did hit a ping of despair deep within her gut, knowing she could do so much damage to a person. It was her time to heal him, she supposed. A sheepish smile tugged onto her lips, silver eyebrows creasing as she could only imagine the pain he was in. "Ah, sorry about going over board... Here, let me help you." Reaching forward Astrid's hand glowed a light silver, pressing her hand against his chest...
    ...
    Squish.
    ....
    Squish squish.
Huh, that was strange. A man's chest shouldn't feel like a cushion. And yet, now that she was pressing her hand into it, she felt more like she was groping a melon or something.
Brows furrowed, she looked up to Kaisto with a confused head tilt.
"Erm... Kaisto? Have you gone to the doctor recently? I don't think a man's chest should be this big."
Seriously, it really shouldn't. They were supposed to be more broad. Man, she sure hoped everything with him was alright, and he didn't like tumors or something.

Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto] Empty Re: Personal Space Invader • Private, Job [Kaisto]

Post by Caelum Pendragon 25th May 2018, 5:38 am

Peace...Finally, Caelum felt happy relieved that these two had made peace after all that had happened, six months had went by since the huge fight between Kai...i mean Caelum and Lucius, and that day Astrid had to come through and literally stop Caelum from almost killing Lucius that day. Truth be told it was not best day for Caelum she had wet through a lot really and that day it all came to a boiling point. That day Caelum nearly lost two of her best friends in the world all because of her stupid arrogance. It couldn't be clearer in her mind besides the day she adopted Shizuka and helped Bastet...but that day Bastet had gotten shot by Lucius, at that point he made an enemy out of Caelum as she literally just clobbered him til Astrid finally had her pinned, Caelum had snapped and went more dragonish in her Dragon Force form which was apparent by the presence of scales and some claws she had formed at that time, but since then she hadn't had no issues, but now it seemed that she and Astrid had made up the past was the past and Caelum was relieved...that was until a certain silver haired elf had squeezed something well essential to her...

    Squish
    ...
    Squish

That was what she felt as she looked down and Astrid was groping her well...lets just say mediumish sized chest, average at best, which made a dark covered blush engulf her face as her eyes went wide and crazy as she stammered at Astrids question "A-A-Astrid! W-Why ate you groping my chest like its a fresh melon from the market" Caelum couldn't even move, she was literally frozen there as she was done like this, jeez what happened in the six months she was off on that mission, she got way more bolder then what she used to be. She gulped and then reached down and grabbed Astrids squeezing hand as she then made her release her as she sighed and took a breath before griping her hand "About the chest...and the whole new look...even the voice as well..ahehe..see you knew me as Kaitso Tyreal, the truth of that matter was that i was never Kaisto truly, that was a spell casted upon me to hide my true self from the world Astrid. The Sky Dragon Slayers eyes dropped to the ground as she sighed "What i told you about my original home is true, its all gone, the citizens were enslaved and now scattered, including my adoptive parents and siblings as well..since then i had an old wizard lady cast a spell that hid my appearance in the form of a man while i overcame my fear, she stated it was to wear off when it was her time to go, she was kinda like a second mother to me so when i woke up today i realized, my green hair, feminine features and everything were back and i knew her time was up, my real name is not Kaisto Tyreal, my true name is Caelum Pendragon...I'm so sorry i didn't tell you before i was just so scared, scared of being revealed and those slavers come and hunt you and Shizuka and the guilds cause of me, and scared of being labeled a freak just cause of being scared.

Caelum had just revealed her big secret, to none other then the one she trusted the most besides Bastet and her Daughter Shizuka, This is was Astrid, a fellow dragon slayer, but more so the first real friend she ever had in a long time, but her fear of rejection and loss came trickling through the back of her mind as she released her hand and kept her head bowed her head hiding her face as she tried to hide the tears that were starting to well up "I-I'll be honest ive never told n-n-no one that i thought id feel better but now im scared again after all these years of hiding id thought id be ready but why...why do i feel like this Astrid...im so terrified of being rejected and losing people close to me, masking my fear with a laugh and smile, while all the while my demons claw at my mind making me wonder if its all worth it at points, hell...you probably think of me like im some freak or something going through all of this just so i cant be scared, hell you probably dont believe me and think im Transgender or whatever the hell that is. But as a friend i wanted you to be the first to know, that this is me..and im tired of lying anymore"

Truer words couldn't have been spoken right now, Caelum truly felt this way. It was the main reason why 'Kaisto' at the time kept going from place to place as they were fighting the 'demons' within themselves, trying to hide themselves and trying to keep things a secret for gods know how long really now, it seemed like an eternity but in actuality she had done it for more then 3 years, hiding her true self from herself and the scrutiny of others, she didnt know how to feel with all out in the open, usually you would feel happy and overjoyed with something like that happening but she was feeling a whole range, Happiness for it finally coming to an end....Rage at herself...Sadness for that she let this happen for so long...Regret that she ever let this start...so much was going through her mind but right now what was more important was that she was bleeding from her wounds, the wounds she had gotten from the fight especially the gashes and the wound on her chest, to which she winced and grabbed as a bit of crimson doused her hand as she tried to keep pressure on it till Astrid could actually do some healing for her, since mainly Caelum right now was drained of magical energy after extenuating so much during the fight and when she went Dragon Force to heal Astrid first instead of herself to repay her.

The slayer continued to hold onto the excess bit of round flesh on Kaisto's chest, unsure of why it was actually so squishy. It felt like one of those stress relief balls. Maybe that was why she found it a little hard to let go of it. In fact, just because she found it to be a little fun she gave it a few more squeezes unconsciously, a small, pleased smile forming onto her face like some child playing with a new bouncy ball for the first time. She only stopped when the fellow slayer reached over and wrapped his hand around her wrist pulling it away. Astrid was slightly saddened by this, having been enjoying it for the few seconds. But just by Kaisto's change in emotional aura alone, she could tell something more serious was about to be told. Astrid looked up from his chest, studying the slayer's face as he told her his grievances... No, not 'him'. 'She'. Apparently, this entire time Kaisto... Or rather, Caelum, had been under the disguise of a male, hiding away out of fear from the slavers that attack her village all those years ago. Astrid was very aware of the sky slayer's past... But never before had she even thought the female was hiding her gender. She couldn't even tell that from her soul aura, which was something Astrid was very used to being able to do. Whoever that old which Caelum was referring too... She certainly was powerful if she could cover something like that up.
But with the old form now gone, Caelum was left with a fear. A fear of being rejected. A fear of being labeled a freak, or a liar. The elf watched the girl's face carefully, slowly retracting her hand back down to her side. She flexed the hand slightly, wriggling her fingers before allowing a silver glow to cover them once again. She would raise it, placing atop Caelum's head in a soft pat, giving a small smile towards her friend. It was a healing spell, the same as before. Except this time, she wouldn't be groping onto any weird parts. Caelum would start to feel the effect of it, a calm and warm sensation covering her body, sealing up wounds, cuts, or bruises scattered around her body.
"I don't think of you as some sort of freak. You're just scared, and being scared sometimes makes us do some things that we're not too proud of. The fact that you're coming out to me without any fear shows how much you've grown. Don't you see? Kasito was your fear, your safety blanket, and now you've shed him. You're Caelum now, like you always have been. If fear makes us freaks, then i guess we're all a bit of a freak." The light would fade from her hands, and she would move her pointer finger down to poke the girl in the forehead. "But even if everyone else leaves you because of it, i wont leave you, because us freaks have to stick together, right?"

With one last flash of a smile the silvernette would walk over to the edge of the ring, grabbing her towel from the side and duck down through the ropes, jumping down and swinging the towel around her shoulders. "Take a shower and get changed. We should go to the ER. My magic can't fix ribs, so we're going to have to go to the professionals for that. But i'll buy you ice cream afterwards to make up for it, okay? My treat." She would glance over her shoulder, giving Caelum a friendly wink before making her way towards the changing room.

The experience on this day hadn't been what she expected... But it felt nice to get all the more closer to the ones she loved.
    And forgive.

Post by Caelum Pendragon 6th June 2018, 5:50 am

She had laid it all out, all to Astrid, Caelum had finally done it and revealed everything to her as she felt it was time to do so, she was in tears crying as they rolled down her cheek as they drizzled off her chin, not cause of the pain she was feeling at the time it was mainly cause she was scared of how Astrid would react to it all. would Astrid be disgusted? Would she be confused? Would she even hate Caelum for hiding it from her for all of these years that she had known The Sky Dragon Slayer? All of these raced through her mind as she cried but soon...she felt a warmth, a warmth that made her stop crying as she looked at Astrid feeling her magic begin to heal her, she would look down and saw her wounds from the battle, the cuts were sealed, the bruises were vanishing and lastly the blood that covered some of her washed away like water had just washed over her, though like Astrid said some of the wounds needed more professional help then just magic.

Hearing the words of Astrid though, it was true...every single word she had said was true, her form known as Kaisto was just a security blanket, she used that form to hide her fears and to hide her insecurities from the world and those closest to her, and in doing so she kinda hindered herself. Hindering herself from doing practically a lot more with her life and time then before and that had to change and that meant it needed to stop, Kaisto was then, he was the safety net and the security that Caelum had use for so many years...no longer, she was now Caelum, she had to break out and show everyone, her guild, her friends and her family meaning Bastet and Shizuka, Astrid already found out so that was one third of the ones she saw as family so a part of that was done.

Though something else struck a cord with Caelum, it was the statement that Astrid had made before getting up 'But even if everyone else leaves you because of it, i wont leave you, because us freaks have to stick together, right?' it made her smile softly as she stood up slowly and walk over to the Light Dragon Slayer and giggle as she wrapped an arm around Astrid in a hug, as the other helped her ribs by pressure as she nodded during the hug "I guess we're both freaks then, and im glad to be a fellow freak with you asty" she said the nickname that Shizuka had called her all the time, truth be told it was cute and adorable, it fit the elf girl even if she didn't wanna admit it "And i'll admit this...maybe we should do this again whenever we get stressed out a bit, cause no matter what Astrid don't hesitate to call for help if you get to stressed, i may not look it but i'm pretty handy around a place like cleaning and paperwork...or if you wanna talk and just get stuff off your chest as well, you helped me begin my process of adjusting to this, and its the least i can do, thanks to you...i learned that i can be me and be accepted by those closest to me...and im glad we're back to being friends" she sighed happily

She soon grinned before letting go of the hug as she grabbed her towel as she did her best to shimmy through the ropes " You know Ice Cream sounds good, been a while since i had some good ice cream with a friend.... Oh, By the way...don' worry i wont tell no one about the well fun you had squishing my chest, that will be our Dragon Slayer Secret" she laughed a bit but winced in pain as she then chuckled "Yeeeep i deserved that huh" she looked around as she blinked a bit "Um...i know this sound stupid but umm...astrid do you happen to have a change of girl clothes and..umm..." she trailed off blushing brightly as she looked down and rubbed her arm as she then said "Umm, since my ribs are busted could you help me wash up...? and change into the clothes..? she might have made a joke from what happened earlier but now this was actually serious now, busted ribs was bad to try and shower with and ESPECIALLY trying to put clothes on that stuff was damn near impossible unless you wanted to cry in pain and crawl afterwards, god this doctor better be a damn good one and bandage her good too cause a half ass bandage job would suck.

But digressing from the situation, Caelum actually kinda did need help but she wasn't used to asking for help like this...and with just coming out with her true form this was gonna be a pain in the ass to even ask Astrid but she did, with a bright red blush on her face she literally asked the light dragon slayer to help bathe her and dress her, what the hell was she thinking she made herself sound so freaking vulnerable and stupid, cause it was her own damn fault her ribs were busted as she facepalmed herself right in front of Astrid as she then said "i...can't believe i just asked you that...you can slap me as hard as you want for that" she said expecting the worse for asking such a request from Astrid.
