In Progress Round 2: Eradicate the Enemy

Post by Ruvel 25th October 2017, 4:00 pm

Ruvel had fallen back on the grass after the griffin had been taken care of, he had no idea just how tiring how this was going to be but at least the task had been taken care of and he could go home to recover... at least that was the plan as he laid there looking to the sky. Hearing muffled talking the youth put his middle and index finger to his ear thinking that he was about to get in trouble for not checking in on time, but he couldn't he be held responsible for that surely; after all every job and task took their own amount of time. He had however come to realise that Cirven was like that over protective and worrying brother who felt like he needed to keep an eye on him constantly, but given what the elder male had seen he couldn't exactly blame him either it was rather frustrating though he understood it was for his own safety. "Yes, I'm here... sorry for not checking in sooner I just fi-" he was cut off by Alisha and blinked forcing himself to sit up.

"Are you sure about that Alisha?" he asked his voice sounded a little tired but he tried to hide it "Yes, I understand. Let Cirven know I'm fine." he said going over the information in his head as he tried to make sense of things; if it was anything like the first task he just done there was no hope of him doing it on his own, he'd end up running out of magic and getting himself killed "I understand, I'll get the person I was working with last time to he-" he was cut off again letting out a sigh, he understood this was important for the guilds standing but it was still frustrated him that he got interrupted "A guild member is on their way?" he seemed confused about this but he decided it couldn't be to bad to have another set of hands to help "Rasparov?" it was't a name he was familiar with but then he was known for being anti social so it didn't really surprise him that much. "Okay, I'll wait here for him." he said taking his hand down thinking about the amount of things that could and likely would go wrong.

"Maera" he said, within a few moments he heard the gentle jingle of the bells within the small fae's hairpin "I need you to go deliver a message big sister, to the one who helped me before. Just tell him Ruvel says there is more to this task and he could use the help and lead him here if he wishes to come." with that his hair moved as the little fairy moved unseen her small bells the only note of where she was at the time. When she met up with Oras she simply plopped on his head "HI!" she exclaimed happily "Little brother Ruvel says there's more to the task and asks for your help!" she giggled happily "He's back where the griffin is, I know things are weird but more hands make lighter work right!" it was easy to see that this summon was happy and bubbly, but once she had delivered her message she flew back and hid in her normal spot "Find out which way we need to go Maera" he said knowing that the information would most likely become invaluable to save time for everyone involved. The biggest questions on his mind however was would the one he done the first task come to his aid? And who was Rasparov? There had to be some reason no one ever spoke about him.

The assignment was done and the wizards had parted ways. Oras was still attempting to work out exactly how he had offended Ruvel but so far wasn't coming close. He went over the scenario again. He had noticed that Ruvel's skin was utterly flawless, perfect in literally every way. At least it seemed that way to the visual eye. Nothing was perfect, perfection was an illusion. Therefore he was certain that Ruvel had cast a spell of some sorts to create a false set of skin to hide something beneath it. When that thought occurred he had a few ideas. The first was wound marks, like burns, scars, etc. The second was deformity, though that was the least likely end result. The third was a mark, like a tattoo or set of numbers he didn't want others to see. Out of these three options Oras could see the first and second as the most likely. Especially if he was wanted for something, or someone out there could recognize him by something on his skin.

Of course this was all nothing more than a theory. Oras still had to confirm his theory before he could confront the wizard about it. Thus when the opportunity revealed itself, quite blatantly in fact, Oras took it. Physical contact with the wizard allowed him to confirm that the skin was perfectly smooth which had solidified his theory. The wizard was using some sort of magic to create a secondary layer of skin to hide something. Which of the two options Oras had thought of was the one remaining question at that point. So, he confronted him about it through a question. Needless to say it worked, and backfired on him. Somehow he had made the wizard snap, angering him and causing him to explode at Oras before moving on to work on his own. Oras had then went his own way, taking down two cyclops', two two headed snakes, and then found Ruvel fighting the Griffen which he helped finish off. Oras was still piecing together what happened when he exploded. Attempting to find out exactly how he had upset the wizard. He knew that the wizard was upset about why he made physical contact with him, and then he mentioned how he had too many scars to count before just walking away from him. Oras knew that the clue was those two sentences, he just couldn't figure out what yet.

Then something happened he didn't see coming. Something touched his head and he heard a small voice. His hand shot out instantly, seeking to grab whatever was there and investigate. This was a knee jerk response thanks to his survival training. However he heard the voice mention Ruvel and stopped just when he was about to grab it, pulling his hand back a little as he listened to the message. Ruvel wants his help? Despite what happened earlier? He refrained from nodding upon her words.
"Understood. I will ask however in the future, that you warn me of your approach next time? I do not wish to harm you in any way, and my reaction timing is high, and defensive."

She then took off again and when he turned to look he could not spot her. Evidently, despite the fact that Oras had accidentally made the wizard snap, he wanted Oras' assistance. Would he work with him though? Or fight with him the entire way? And why did the voice call him little brother? Oras had a feeling that this man would be a very complicated subject. Still... This would offer him to keep from ruining the relationship with the company. He did not want a target on his back, and doing this would give him more time to analyze the man and the situation, hopefully figuring out what had angered him so. Oras shot forward and silently. Perhaps he could test out some magic he had in mind. Time to put it to beta testing he supposed. The concept was to take the world around them and warp how it could be sensed. He could alter how anything was seen, heard, or even smelled, giving him a massive advantage against others. This wasn't an illusion either. He was legitimately changing the world around through altering light, vibrations, and molecules.

Oras was silent as he moved, spotting the area where the griffin was beforehand. He leaped over a boulder, using his hand to make contact with it, steadying his course, and landed silently in front of the massive stone. He leaned against the side of the rock, crossing his arms as he stared silently at Ruvel. He was behind the man so he wouldn't see him coming, and would wait until the wizard noticed him.

The Leviathan was awake. The recent large-scale monster situation had caused enough commotion that the secret messages from his creators had come once more. They wanted him to help slay the monsters that were at the heart of this operation. If he wished to live he would do as told. It was the way that they tried to keep his allegiance, though that allegiance was nowhere to be found if one could get into the head of the being currently in the uniform of a butler. The grumblings in his mind would be hidden behind a smile, a good thing as even Cirven would frown upon the complaints about those in Black Sails. He had been inactive as a member of their 'guild,' but Cirven had tried to be understanding as he simply knew that the man was an Ex-Rune Knight officer before the military had cut a part of the army off the budget. If only he knew the truth, though Kimovich would have to kill Cirven if he ever found out. Especially if he wanted to keep from being chased by anyone that understood what it meant.

The man would ask Cirven what he could do to help, being told to help out a boy known as 'Ruvel' that might have issues with the current task for some reason or another. With his two swords and his pet Chimera, the man would eventually get to the spot that had been given to him for a meetup. Upon his arrival, he would see the boy that fit the description as well as one more he had not been told about. Great...two to babysit during a mission. He needed to just start finding jobs and stuff to do on his own. He was tired of being the dad of the operation for these kids. "A pleasure to meet the two of you. I assume you are Ruvel? My name is Rasparov, Cirven should have told you about me. As for you, please identify yourself. Hard to tell who is friend or foe nowadays." The butler's cape fluttered lightly in the breeze as his eyes simply showed the happiness alongside his pleasant smile. These two were going to be a handful, he just felt it.

Ruvel remained where he was covering his mouth as he yawned flopping back on the grass knowing that the fairy that hid in his hair would be fine, his eyes closing as he wanted to rest as much as possible before heading forward. Heaven forbid he over extended and made himself sick; he didn't have the medicine required on him. He blatantly refused to keep the stuff on him due to it having to be injected and he had a real bad fear of needles to the point he would fight to keep the things away from himself. He had no idea how the conversation between Maera and Oras went but hoped it went well, he realised the type of fae Maera was made her near invisible to see to the naked eye when in motion might make the other a bit on guard but that's why he attached bells to her hairpin. Well that was so she could be used as a distraction when needed but on this occasion it would be used to let the other know where she was.

His eye opened a little as he lifted up a hand feeling a gentle breeze but it was more than that, it was almost as if he was reaching for something that was just out of his reach. "You're friend's here little brother" Maera's small bubbly voice notified him, he looked up from the spot where he was laying bringing down his hand. He from his laying position studied the other, he was glad the other was there but at the same time he was still annoyed at the guy "Don't touch me again." he said sternly, it was plain and as simple as that to him, he had been violated by the other and currently was working with him begrudgingly knowing their magics worked well together. "If you have questions ask them, don't be underhanded about it." he finished sitting up letting out a frustrated sigh, what the other didn't know is that the youth couldn't lie but even if he did know it didn't mean he had to answer anything asked of him.

Hearing an unknown voice he looked to see what seemed like a butler, his eyes blinking in confusion as the other introduced himself. Standing he dusted himself off making sure his white hakama remained that way though he noticed they where slightly torn thanks to what had just passed "I swear to..." he grumbled in frustration before his left hand went to his chest bowing just a little "Hello Rasparov. Yes, my name is Ruvel and it was Alisha who told me to expect your arrival not Cirven, though my best bet is he's somewhere on this island." he said before standing completely straight once more. "This is Verus, he likes to analyse everything... he won't take the mask off or let down the hood and oversteps boundaries from what I surmised." said calmly "Little brother we should be heading north." came the small fae's voice "North it is then." with a small smile he started walking north "What are we to expect as opponents Maera?" he asked knowing that was something the guild had yet to be informed about but would help them out a great deal.

Oras saw a figure approaching through the black visor of his mask.  The figure seemed to be a man of authority the way he held himself.  He was also fairly strong as well.  Before he came into range, Ruvel spoke to Oras, telling him not to touch him again.  Oras looked back to Ruvel.  Was this because he disliked being touched?  Which he had mentioned to Oras before.  Or was this because of the reasoning for Oras touching him?  Ruvel then spoke in regards to any questions he may have, mentioning how he should ask him and not use underhand tactics.  Underhand tactics?  Oras felt that this man had yet to encounter some of the darker men in this world.  Such underhanded tactics allowed him to gather information without alerting others.  He didn't trust anyone for very good reasons.  Whether Ruvel realized this or not didn't matter to him.  Regardless he would nod to let him know that he acknowledged him.

The second wizard was approaching and thus Oras turned his gaze to the man, listening as he introduced himself.  Rasparov spoke to Ruvel first, and from what he said, it was clear that he was of the same guild and company as Ruvel was.  Then he turned to Oras and asked politely for him to introduce himself.  Oras was about to give out his alias when Ruvel began to introduce himself first, using a name Oras had not yet heard of.  He then proceeded to introduce Oras.  However it seemed that Ruvel had every intention of making Oras seem like a villain in this particular group.  Well then, it was clear he wouldn't be working with anyone.  He didn't look at Ruvel at all but did listen as he mentioned they were heading north.  He was suspecting it was due to one of his summons but wasn't entirely sure.  He walked over to Rasparov, pausing beside him, turning his head to view the man better.
"Verus.  Perhaps we can work together, or perhaps things will only prove worse.  Only time will tell.  I'll scout ahead."

Oras walked forward, passing Ruvel and not giving him any word, or movement.  If Ruvel wished to be this way then he didn't have to put up with him.  Oras could take care of this job by himself to be honest.  However he was interested in this new wizard, and what kind of magic he possessed.  And while he was alone, he could attempt to figure out what had made Ruvel so angry with him in the first place.  He broke into a dash, and would be out of their sight in a few seconds.  Making his way around large boulders, hills and crevices.  As he passed their vision, or what he was guessing was their field of vision, he summoned all six of his illusions.  He made sure they were faded, nearly invisible, so as to reduce their chances of actually spotting them in the first place.  These illusions, while was difficult to see, allowed Oras to see through them as well.  This allowed his field of vision to be magnified by six, and made it harder for anything to slip his notice.

He soon spotted one of the targets.  A massive elemental construct made of steel and stone.  This caused Oras' eyes to narrow under his mask.  This was created, not born like most monsters.  Who created it?  Was it here from ancient days or was this recent?  At any rate he doubted it would take long.  Oras sent his illusions first, having the non physical ones charge in before his physical illusions.  When they did they became more visible, catching the eyes of the elemental construct.  The creature prepared to strike them but it's hand phased right through the first three which now began to move along with the physical illusions, keeping it from seeing which was which.  Oras joined the fray after the illusions had found it's weak points, or chinks in the armor.

He and the physical illusions moved around, leaping over and under it's attacks and striking where it was weak.  They continued for a while before Oras spotted a vital part of it's armor on it's neck and threw three daggers.  The first created a crack.  The second pushed the first dagger further, creating a hole in it's armor, and the third dagger pushed the dagger in, damaging what was inside.  The construct had received enough damage to the point where it finally malfunctioned and collapsed. Not killed but currently paralyzed and unable to move any of it's limbs.  He had his illusions move to the edges of the area and scout further, and he spotted two more of the constructs.  However there was something else further on, beyond the constructs.  Oras would look up and if the others were there, his illusions would be gone.  In addition, if they were there he would give them some info.
"There are two more constructs up ahead.  More beyond there however I cannot yet determine what they are until we get a closer look."

Johann was standing in front of the mirror in his quarters, trying out the brand-new white suit he was wearing and the other outfits he had bought himself now that he was supposed to represent the West Fiore Trading Company in public, among them a stylish grey vest, various formal shirts and even a white version of the grey coat he was normally wearing. He sighed, remembering the hassle that was finding the exact same version of coat he liked in another colour. His suit however was a perfect fit and even allowed him for good mobility. He put on his gloves and tied his sheathed rapier to his belt. He turned a little to the left and the right to check the outfit and deemed it adequate for whatever would come up. He hadn't been a member of the West Fiore Trading Company for long, but they had promptly accepted him as part of their guild when he had applied, which was, he figured, probably due to the word Ruvel had given Cirven, the CEO of the Company. He hadn't been given a formal position as of yet, however. All that had been done to signify his membership was the guild pin that he had now neatly placed on the left side of his suit, right above his heart, and of course the guild tattoo, which was now shining in a silver tone on the back of his right hand. Still, he also had been told he could do jobs for the guild while his internal status was still being processed and that jobs were found on the guilds job board. He figured that, since he had nothing else to do anyway, he would give it a try. Not before heading to the mess hall for a quick meal however, and thus Johann left the room.

After he finished the marvelous curry that he had ordered he stood up and figured that now would be the best time to look for a job to do, heading straight for the board. Upon taking a look at the various jobs and mission that the guild itself or other people had posted there he felt a bit overwhelmed. There were a whole lot to choose from, but one in particular caught Johann's eye. Apparently there was some sort of monster outbreak Johann had completely missed,  the Rune Knights and a lot of other mages from different guilds seemed to be involved, even some of his own guild. Now that he had read through the note that had sparked his interest  he was somewhat eager to join them on the mission and took it with him to the reception area. He saw Alisha sitting there and asked her about the specifications for the job, who told Johann about the other members that were taking part, the location and the details of the mission. He listened carefully and noticed that Ruvel was also taking part. He respectfully bowed before the woman and thanked her for her help and turned around to go outside. He thought about their first encounter and what had followed for the next days up to the point where he was now. It wasn't really easy for both of them along the way, but he thought he had found a friend in the youth and wanted to support him if possible and appropriate. He didn't want to seem pushy, since Ruvel, Cirven and Alisha were the only members of the West Fiore Trading Company he had formally been introduced to, but he also felt the need to help the friends he had made.

With that, he left the headquarters and wandered away from the path that leading from the WFTC to the dock areas. Once he was out of sight of the HQ and the people going about with their business, he stopped. He looked at the clear blue sky and figured it was worth a try, he hadn't designed the spell for nothing, after all. He closed his eyes, focused and the bright white magic circle appeared beneath his feet. He slowly opened his eyes as the air was filled with a strange humming and from one second to the other, he turned to wind, completely vanishing on the spot. Johann only saw a few seconds of black around himself when he was engulfed by a bright light and opened his eyes again only to find that he had successfully rematerialized, and, to his surprise, he was staring right with Ruvel and 2 other people that seemed to accompany him. While still baffled for a second, he quickly regained his calm and respectfully bowed before the small group "Forgive me the sudden appearance, dear Ruvel. I received word of your endeavour and decided to join you on your efforts if you think I could be of service." He turned to face the other two. "Allow me to introduce myself: Johann von Weiss. Nobleman, mage and official member of the West Fiore Trading Company. Pleased to make your acquaintance", bowing once more before the two others. It was now when he took his eyes off them that he spotted what seemed to be an enormous construct of steel and rock that had apparently cracked and collapsed mere moments, possibly half a minute, before he had arrived as dust was still floating through the air. He certainly had to work on the timing of his teleportation in the future, and he now faced the group with a confused look on his face, unsure about what to do, commenting on the thing before him with "It seems however you are holding yourselves well, gentlemen", just before the strange construct started to move again and tried to stand up.

Akryn slowly flew over the gathered monstrous horde, counting the beasts below him as he rode the wind, a frown deepening on his face. Even after the recent, apparent, victory over this army, there were still so many of the creatures gathered, ready to wage another war. When Cirven had sent him out here he had been warned that there would be plenty of these things left, but not on this grand kind of scale. "I can see why he wanted me out here. I can rendezvous with my team later. This first." He muttered to himself as he turned off his two movement spells and began to drop, the wind no longer carrying him, turning the eight foot tall, white haired, wizard into a deadly living missile.
Down below him, the monstrous lizard like skeleton marched along at a slow, but steady, pace, surrounded, and guarded, by the other fiends, making a beeline for the human lands. The gathered group knew to keep their eyes open, looking around and watching for any signs of trouble, watching for the meddlesome wizards who would slow their advance. But despite their vigilance, none of them thought for a moment to look upwards, and that was their downfall. The giant, skeletal, Deinosuchus suddenly stumbled, and then buckled, as something fell from the sky and collided with its skull with a thunderous cracking sound. The other beasts turned towards their giant tank, surprised and looking for the source of the beasts sudden halt, before yet another cracking sound came and the skeleton shook once more. Suddenly a small form leapt from the top of the beast, landing amongst the horde. It was a human! Tall for a human, clad in black armor with long white hair, the enemy was upon them!
One pair of the giant half dragons rushed in, swinging their weapons down at the human, intending to crush him with one blow! As their weapons came close however the human would quickly turn, bringing his sword and shield across in a rapid movement, turning both weapons aside, to either side oof the human, before the human was suddenly gone again. The half dragons reeled back in surprise, looking around for their vanished quarry before the human appeared once more, between the two of them, at head level! One of the giants turned to face the human, fire welling in his throat, before the human suddenly lashed out with a foot, catching the giant on the jaw and shoving his head to the side with another thunderous crack, sending the half dragon stumbling to the side, shocked by this humans raw strength!
Akryn used the kick to propel himself away from the first giant and towards the other, coming in just ahead of the giants weapon, rising into a defensive posture. Akryn was too fast for the stunned creature, and his large shield collided with the half dragons face, producing another crack and sending the giant stumbling away in the opposite direction from its partner. After his successful attack the large, armored wizard landed, turning to face the gathered monster horde with a widening grin, even as the beasts began to surround him. "Well come on them! How many of ya do ya think its gonna take??"
Akryn rushed in towards the group, leaping into the air towards a large, wooden elemental, throwing his shield as he flew. The shield wizzed throw the air with a whistle before slamming into the elementals chest and splintering it, burying deep within the constructs body and forcing it off balance. Akryn in the mean time landed on a stone elementals face, his large fist coming down and crashing into the cliff like creature, producing cracks in the creatures body, before Akryn leapt away again, high up this time, twisting his body and swinging his blade down as he did so, unleashing a wave of wind with the mostion, which collided with the gathered monsters below, tearing and cutting their flesh before Akryn bolted back down towards them, one large hand colliding with another half dragons face with devastating force, causing the creature to buckle under the power and fall to the ground with a pained bellow, blood erupting from its face.

More would join the group, and each introduction would be listened to as Rasparov felt his body shift and change underneath his skin and scales to match and outdo whatever was the quickest of the group. The Leviathan's senses would improve to match, which allowed him to clearly see the creature he had just finished his competition with. It was a fairy with a bell attached to it, which almost made sense if it wanted to confuse those around it during combat. The butler would look directly into her eyes before smiling and looking back at Ruvel as he corrected him on whom had sent the man. Only Cirven could 'send' him on any kind of mission. Others simply relayed that information to him. He was one of the originals of the company, having signed up at the exact same time as Cirven himself, and most of those in the company and guild were outranked by him. Not that he ever used that to bellow orders. He preferred to do what he wished until he was absolutely needed, though that could change with the proper questions from Cirven and a few others. Another smile would be done as he made eye contact with the fairy clad in ice blue and white before the homunculus spoke up. "Very well, I shall make my way through the beasts and scout ahead as far as I can without causing too many monsters to come upon us. And such a cute fairy you have with you. A shame not many can ever see her as she moves." The man would make a proper bow before he drew both of his swords and began to run in the direction everyone else was going.

The speed that the fairy moved must have been quite fast. As the man hit his main stride a shockwave and a loud bang would be heard as he cleared the speed of sound. Glad that friction could not negatively harm him the man used the speed he had been granted as a massive boon to strike at every monster he came across while remaining nearly impossible to track. Giants swung weapons in a panic as skeletal animals bit and thrashed at the blur of motion that was his form. He had easily passed everyone that had come to the same area as them and was glad to see that they all were able to hold their own so far. Maybe he would not have to babysit as much as he had originally thought.

Ruvel blinked as more people from the guild turned up, placing his hand to his chest he bowed a little with a smile "Hello both." he greeted them, his eyes turning to Oras as he spoke about working together and wither it would make things worse or not. He couldn't help but sigh as he seemed to run off to scout ahead "I have a summon for that kind of thing you know." he called out after him one of his hands rubbing his forehead and cheek as he was getting frustrated, yeah he was irked about what happened recently but it didn't mean he wouldn't work with the other; if he had that intention he wouldn't have sent Maera to deliver a message that said about the new information he had received from the guild about the task they now seemed to have taken on. "How have you been Mr. Weiss?" he enquired, it had been a while since he had seen him and wondered if he had gotten over what had happened the day they met but said nothing about it.

"Well of course we are, if we couldn't Cirven would have us training until we dropped dead I expect." he chuckled after hearing Johann's comment, thing is he had a scary feeling that it would in fact be true if the the members of the guild couldn't work well together and handle this task efficiently. Though they had been talking it seemed like some of the creatures nearby had been encountered by Oras or another and where they seemed to be holding their own it was clear what they where up against now was far stronger than what they previously had been. 'Seems like this is going to be an issue, were going to have to work together to take them all down, but it's hard since everyone seems to be fragmented and happy to work on their own.' he thought releasing a sigh, it was beyond frustrating to the youth.

Maera remained hidden in Ruvel's hair shyly but giggled and moved her hand out to wave at Rasparov who had seeminly noticed her, she didn't know of the man but she could tell he was far different from those around her picking up on the slightest sound as he shifted "I hope I helped you." she said in her bubbly tone making Ruvel turn her eyes to her blinking "What was that big sister?" he asked wondering what she meant "It's nothing little brother." she said happily blushing as she was called cute "Y-you can see Maera?!" he seemed stunned that someone other than himself could see her, but it seemed before the other would answer he dashed off stupidly quick with a sonic boom pushing Ruvel right off his feet and a few feet back, as he landed he winced "That hurt, what the hell?" he didn't think anyone could run that fast, slowly he got up dusting himself off "Seems you have competition big sister." he laughed running the same way that Rasparov had all be it at a fraction of the speed.

Seeing the construct he stopped in his tracks and pulled out his dagger cutting it across his hand "I summon blood, I summon hate, I summon war and anger... Warrior of death hear my call! Barthenz appear!" he called out as he did a dark seal one meter in front of the Ruvel appeared. Barthenz stood as a tall muscular, yet scarred man wearing a wrap around his waist and a sword in his hand, his eyes are a deep crimson and seem almost feral, his dark shaggy hair caked in blood. "Go.." he said simply watching as the large male dashed off not waiting for another invite hitting the three elemental constructs several times dozen times in quick succession while dodging most of their attacks, he occasionally managed to lure them into hitting each other or a few of the half dragons that where near by. When he grew bored playing with the soulless constructs he went to what he believed would be his next target and hoped that them having dragonic blood would pose more of a challenge "My name is Barthenz, I'm the god of war!" he roared introducing himself with pride to the half dragons "Give me a good fight so I may grant you the honour of a warrior's death" he spoke to them, as before he weaved in between his opponents hacking and slashing at multiple points, some of them none vital while others where more than merely a flesh wound. Ruvel had ran with him along the way a quarterstaff made of light appearing in his hand as he tried to dash forward but was struck back by one of the eight half dragons the warrior summon was currently fighting making him slide back wincing but made sure to keep a hold of his weapon knowing it would be a while before he could make a new one "Damn it..." he growled running forward once again this time however he ran up Barthenz and managed to spring board off him to land several hits on head of the one that had hurt him sending it back towards the others almost as if it was a bowling ball.

Oras watched as the others caught up with him, Ruvel and Rasparov both. He listened as Rasparov spoke with Ruvel, and when Oras heard him mention a fairy and how she moved, as well as Ruvel's reaction to it calling her big sister. Oras put two and two together. The little voice who called Ruvel her little brother. So the voice was a fairy then. Out of nowhere a man appeared before them. Oras gripped his dagger tightly until he began to speak, specifically to Ruvel. He explained how he had heard about Ruvel's endevour's and how he was sent to aid him, introducing himself as Johan. And it turned out that he was part of the exact same guild and company as both Ruvel and Rasparov. Oras didn't loosen his grip on his blade. Another member of the same guild? Why? Why were there three of them? Ruvel was angered by Oras already. This wasn't looking good for him. Rasparov told them that he would go ahead and scout out the rest of it and Oras nodded silently to him. His eyes were focused on Ruvel and Johan, but he suspected that Rasparov would be the most deadly in this group.

After Ruvel summoned the fighter summon, Oras turned to look at the situation and analyzed it. It would seem that although he could handle these monsters, it would go faster if they all worked on fighting these monsters. Perhaps if- His thoughts were interrupted when he heard fighting elsewhere and saw another wizard fighting in the distance. He stiffened. He hated it. Four wizards he had no knowledge on whatsoever. No reason to trust them with anything. Not only that, but three of them he knew were in the exact same guild. He thought for a moment, trying to come up with their best options... If Rasparov attacked a collection of enemies up ahead, followed by the wizard off in the distance, then perhaps they could get into a steady rhythm. However he'd need to contact the others up ahead first... He turned to Ruvel. Despite the fact that he'd rather work separately for him, he needed the man for this task thanks to his.. Older sister.
"Ruvel. Please tell your sister to relay this message to Rasparov, and that other wizard there: Rasparov should damage and cripple the monsters up ahead. Ask the newcomer there to attack them while they're weakened."

He turned to Johan. Out of all these wizards, he felt more inclined to seek this man's assistance than any of the others. "You and I can bring them to their knees, and Ruvel can finish them off. Agreed? And if you wish for a name Johan, you may call me Verus."

Just as the construct before him started to move again it was struck down by one of the other mages, who appeared to place importance on etiquette as well since he was dressed rather formally, that Johann had never seen before. He had no idea the man was also a part of the West Fiore Trading Company. From what he could gather his name was Rasparov, but before he could talk to him, the mage proclaimed that he would leave the group to scout ahead. He too moved at incredible speed, of course Johann could still see him due to his training with high speed magic, but it left him wondering what kind of magic he was using. Perhaps something akin to his own magic ? But that was a question for another time.

He now turned to face the two others of the group, Ruvel and another man he didn't know, and he had no way of identifying the man either as he was wearing a mask. From all he could know he might also be a member of the West Fiore Trading Company. While Johann was still thinking about that the other addressed Ruvel and asked him to send messages to both the man that had just left the group and another man Johann had no knowledge of. He couldn't see another mage and he didn't sense a fourth one other than himself in the area. He figured that he had missed something, but he couldn't inquire further as the masked man, who introduced himself as Verus, turned his attention to Johann to propose his strategy. The tactics the man proposed seemed reasonable and Johann had no objections. "Very well, good sir, I will join you in your efforts. Let us begin". Johann drew his rapier and raised the other hand, greatly compressing the air around his body, giving it a more haptic form, and shaping it into a form that resembled a knight's armor of circulating wind.

Akryn continued to move quickly around the feet of the large beasts arrayed against him, striking at their ankles and legs as he did so, nimbly avoiding their large and lumbering blows. With the sheer size of his foes, as well as their obvious brute strength, it was likely that these beasties could deal an incredible amount of damage with even one blow, even with Akryns own incredible armor and resiliency. Still, they moved as simple beasts for the most part, their blows unaimed and some what wild. Except for the half dragon giants of course, who moved with a bit more precision and aim. Still, they were no match for the much better trained Akryn, and the warm blood of the giants was soon enough coating his sword and leaking down his arm, putting the large wind wizard in a sort of blood frenzy.

Still, despite the damage he was dealing to his foes and the brilliant fight he was putting up, it was obvious that these beasts wouldn't go down very easily. For a moment he longed for his old weapons to have back in his hands. One blow from Star Fall would likely have ended the big skeleton thing, he thought to himself as his sword bit into the ankle of a large wooden construct. Not the one he had thrown his shield into though, another fact that was bothering him. He missed the added protection the shield provided, even though he knew that against such foes the shield would provide little real protection. Oh well. Might as well rely on his magic some, he thought to himself as three blows began to come in from different sides.

A smirk came across the armored wizards face as he braced himself, his feet planting themselves in a wide, firm stance, and the sword falling from his hand to bury itself in the dirt for a moment, freeing Akryns hands. Akryns eye closed as he called upon his magic, before he threw his hands out to the side, creating a swirling wall of wind around him that quickly expanded outward, catching the three attacks before they could hit him, and throwing them back outwards, knocking the attackers off balance. Akryn smirked in a small triumph before retrieving his sword and leaping into the air, his foot coming up to kick another elemental construct, this one made of metal, in the chest, again knocking it off balance, but also working as a spring board to propel Akryn out again, towards the wood construct that had his shield buried in its chest, his sword slashing across once more as he aimed to free his shield. The sword splintered the wood of the creature, freeing the sheld enough for Akryn to tear it free, but he was forced to leap away again as the wood construct brough a massive fist up and slammed itself in the chest. Akryn landed in the dirt and slid backwards in a crouch, growing to himself as he looked up at the gathered foes in frustration. He had yet to defeat any of them, he had yet to even bring one of them down! They were too powerful for him to deal with alone.

Thankfully it seemed he didn't have to deal with them alone, as the presence of another group of wizards began to tingle at the edge of his senses. It was likely the members of the guild he had been sent to aid. He had to admit that he felt embarrassed that he now had to rely on them for help. A snarl came across his face as he put aside his pride for a moment and leapt further back from his foes, the wind gathering under his feet into a large, rapidly moving ball, which began to quickly carry him away from his foes, towards his allies. Or at least he hoped they were his allies.......

Ruvel blinked hearing Oras's words and shook his head to the request while he continued to attack the half dragons in hopes to help his summon but he had no idea just how effective he was being. It wasn't something he was going to send his beloved big sister to do besides as much as she was fast she had a limited distance and it was far to dangerous right now, the only reason she was able to get to Oras in the first place was because he was still within her range some of the current group weren't then there was the enemies and so didn't want to lose her because she went out of the allowance or got hurt. "I'm sorry but I can't, I won't put her in harms way for something so selfish... I'll try figure something out." he was hit by one of the half dragons thanks to being distracted but this is why he wished that the others had the link that he had when leaving the company headquarters so everyone could be kept within the loop but no such luck it would seem. 'Shindara, bring everyone into one channel keep them out of the main channel with everyone else and you and Amuul definitely can't talk in it or he'll know I'm Moon and it's against the rules for everyone's safety.' he sent to the elder void prince who done so as they got close enough for him to touch each person's shadow. He'd sigh to himself this was the last thing he needed right now but it was the best of everything and he knew that Cirven would be instantly linked in if any further orders or worries came up.

'We have a link now in which to keep in contact with one another, no one can see into another's mind so there's no need to fret about such things. It's just so we can coordinate attacks.' he explained hoping the others would understand why he done such a thing, if not he would deal with things after the fact, but it was the best he could do on short notice. "Any information big sister?" he asked the fairy hiding in his hair "Sorry, I haven't had enough time to get a lot of information but they'll all absorb a lot of damage before they take down, I'd suggest everyone bands together on each to be honest, you'd have to ask little spirit if he ever turns up, he's the tactician." she said her index fingers touching each other unhappy that she wasn't of better use to everyone "That's fine big sister, thank you for your insight." he said dodging a close by, reanimated skeletal remains of the Deinosuchus that almost hit him, he wasn't thrilled to say the least. "BARTHENZ! WHAT THE HELL?! A LITTLE HELP!" he yelled out at the warrior summon who was happily fighting the half dragons still, he sighed knowing it was of little use to talk to him when he was like this. "I hate you sometimes you over grown handbag." he whispered to himself knowing with all the fighting going on there was no way the warrior would be able to hear him or he'd be in trouble, and that was the only reason he said what he had. To give himself and the others a little room to breath he flicked his had subtly a large seal of light twenty meters around him appeared tendrils climbing out of it grabbing the enemy encasing them in light so they can not do damage but can still take it.

It was now he started beating constantly on the skeletal form of the Deinosuchus that had tried to take a swipe at him with his quarterstaff made of light to the point he dislodged one of the arms, this was tiring him and he could feel it but he would have to continue; he knew it would look bad if he couldn't hold his own but again he wasn't build to deal with physical tasks like this and he knew it but if he didn't try and any of them told Cirven then he wasn't gonna see outside the training hall for at least the next two weeks. His eyes moved to barthenz seeing he had moved once more after having his fill of the half dragons each of the eight being covered in at least three dozen slashes before he went to find something else to fight which he did in the form of another skeletal Deinosuchus "Oh you're gonna be fun" he had a wicked grin on his face as he started slashing jumping into it's chest cavity as he continued his unwavering assault the Deinosuchus scratching at itself trying to get him out but failing badly only causing self harm which made the warrior laugh as it added to the damage he was doing as he ran towards its head swords swinging like a man possessed never still for longer than a few seconds the ribs quickly becoming chipped and frail making him fall down. When this happened he was off looking for his next target with Ruvel quickly following behind.

The battle should have been done already, if these buffoons could actually manage to keep up and hit everything in an orderly fashion. That was not the case, however, and thus he would continue to hit on those that he saw as he maintained the speed beyond sound as the being continued running. Rasparov wondered for how long the creature that was giving him this speed, the fairy, would be on the field. How fast would the next being be that he adapted to? He would not have the same speed once it was gone, but he would remain the fastest around no matter what happened. A shame he could not always have this speed. Oh, the things he could accomplish with no one able to stop him. But that would be too easy to have, and he could not control the alterations he was given to remain the fastest being, it was an automatic function of his body. If he could control his natural abilities he would be unstoppable by nothing other than a god that wanted him stopped.

Words would fill his head, Ruvel explaining some kind of link he had set up with those around, to which the leviathan slayer would simply add one thing. "We should hurry with these monsters, I have a feeling more will be on the way to help them shortly."

Akryn admitted himself startled when a voice made itself heard in his head, some sort of communication system it seemed. He would have to learn more about how that kind of set up worked, but for now he had bigger fish to fry. "Let them come. The more we off here, the fewer that make it to the civilian populations. Job accomplished. Hell, we might even get ourselves a bit of a bonus for it." he responded, leaping back from a blow coming at him from the wood golem again, his sword and shield dropping to the dirt beside him before his armored hands came together at his left hip, wind magic gathering between his palms into a swirling, slightly glowing, mass. "All of you, get out of the way!" he commanded before bringing his hands forward and unleashing the gathered magic which moved like a focused beam, colliding with the gigantic, bone, dinosaur thing squarely, causing it to stagger to the side a bit.

"My name is Akryn by the way, new member to the west fiore trading company. Wind mage, mobile brawling type. Sound off on your own magics and styles." Akryn demanded as he began turning, his arms raised and hands open towards the opponents around him, blasts of wind escaping from his palms and pelting the half giants and elementals. "I need to know what I am working with here people, see if some of my techniques will work with you lot." And with that he grabbed his sword and shield again, darting across the field once more.

Oras listened to Ruvel who simply stated that he could not send her, but that he would figure out a different method. Soon enough the connection was established and they could move on. The man with the sonic abilities, Johan, agreed to work with Oras regardless of what happened so that was that. Ruvel entered the fray immediately, sending out his berserker who took on a crocodile. A massive one that was. Oras could see weak points in the beast's armor so it shouldn't be too difficult to take down. He then noticed skeletons that had just appeared on the scene. One of these swiped at Ruvel who trapped them in what seemed to be tentacles of light. Oras was analyzing the situation during all of this when a voice spoke up in the telepathic communication. Whoever it was seemed to think he was in charge, demanding name and skill if he was going to work with them. Evidently he was also part of the same company and guild. Four members of the exact, same, company and guild... Oras was going to finish here and leave as soon as he could. He didn't like it. It was too much of a coincidence that the four would be here at the same time. Something was up. And he especially didn't like this Akryn character, though he hadn't met him just yet. "My name is Verus. That's all you need to know as we won't be working together long."

Oras turned to Johan. "I can handle the skeletons if you want to aid Ruvel's summons with the crocodile." He launched at the skeletons, leaping over Ruvel and his target. As he did, two figures appeared behind the other skeletons and struck at them. Before they could strike back, Oras landed and slashed his two daggers at them both. He and his illusions dodged their attacks easily. He was careful not to let one of them be struck. Despite the fact that his illusions were just that and couldn't die, he did not wish for Johan to know what they were. The less these people knew about him the better.

Johann too watched as they all stormed off to fight the various beasts, one after the other. He hadn't taken action yet, but was ready to do so anytime, almost sprinting off when he heard Ruvels voice in his head, talking about a link, followed by someone else that introduced himself as Akryn. This person also proclaimed to be a member of the West Fiore Trading Company, but Johann had never heard of him before. He wasn't sure if he should accept the mans claim, but he figured Ruvel would probably know him, so he left it at that. Akryn also wanted a "demonstration" of not just his, but everyone else's skills as well. Johann would make sure to show what he could do, but he would've done so anyway.

"Allow me to introduce myself: Johann von Weiss, member of the West Fiore Trading Company.I would describe myself as ... rather fast. Pleased to make your acquaintance." Johann chuckled. The man that called himself Verus told him to help out Ruvel, which confused him slightly since the other had literally asked for his cooperation mere moments ago, but he shrugged it off, seeing the change of heart as the man's reaction to the new mage named Akryn, and gave the masked man a nod. Of course, Johann wouldn't just limit himself to one or two creatures, his speed allowed for far more damage potential. He got down on both legs and his left hand, a sprinting stance, while holding his Rapier in his right hand tightly. A magic circle appeared beneath him and he felt the weight disappear from his body. Simultaneously, he accumulated around himself a great quantity of air and pressurized it, releasing it explosively only seconds later. The force catapulted him forward at a speed of around 440 m/s and he could hear the loud boom as he breached the sound barrier. He was aiming for all kinds of weakspots he could find and, with the full force of his speed, slashed one of the elementals legs off while ramming his rapier into the side of a skeleton crocodile. He kept dashing around at high speeds using the power of the wind, striking whatever creature would appear before him.

Ruvel listened to everything that was happening through the bond created thanks to Shindara, he was glad that it was being accepted with little question at least for the moment but knew later there may be questions asked on the bond and how he had managed it. This was something he would rather avoid if at all possible but knew there was little chance as curious minds always had the want to know stuff, he just didn't know if he told them he didn't want to answer if they'd leave it alone. Hearing the an unfamiliar voice within the bond he had to wonder who and where it came from, at this point he couldn't tell much about the man other than he was itching for a fight. 'Speak for yourself this is so tiring to me.' he sent back if he pushed it to much it would mean he would mean he'd need his medicine and that then meant a needle in his eye or spinal column and neither he really liked that much.

As he concentrated on what was going on with the others he hadn't noticed the next problem was already there with them 'It's like this is never going to end... I-I don't know if I'm even going to last if this keeps up' he thought to himself, he was truly worried about his current health though he knew Cirven was likely somewhere on he island but had no idea where or if he'd even be carrying his medicine with him. Even though he had been busy with his own thoughts Barthenz hadn't been and started his next onslaught with the twelve half dragons that now attacked seeing the lone warrior as an easy target. Nothing could be further from the truth as he started to aim for non vital points while pushing and pulling Ruvel to stop him getting harmed "If you're not going to fight kid, you're a hindrance and thus in the way." he growled as one of them  slashed across his back making him turn and slashing more frantically at that joints to cause as much pain as possible while still kicking and striking at the other eleven, finally glad to see that Ruvel was doing his part though he could tell Ruvel was doing it case he was backed into a corner not out of wanting to; regardless the two worked well enough that soon the warrior had gotten bored and moved looking for his next target.

Ruvel hated being like this but he was doing well considering what was stacked against him, it was finally then the new voice introduced himself 'I'm Ruvel, a vice president in training to the trading company.' he sent through the link only recently having being told what his path within the guild was intended to be, he just no idea how the hell he was going to pull that off given his countless restrictions but would do his best regardless. 'I'm a summoner.' he commented mumbling his primary magic through the link almost as he didn't want it heard, which to be quite honest he didn't but Cirven had told him to trust those within the guild, that and it was hard to miss the blood soaked warrior that had now found his new target within some more elemental constructs and started fighting and dodging learning from his last bout with three of them, this was far easier due to there only being two to beat on. He wasn't sure them knowing his magic was a needed piece of information, so would later find out when he spoke to Cirven. He was careful not to mention his secondary magic, he still didn't have it under control fully so reacted on his emotions more often than not.

'Verus, I'm tired not a cripple' he almost growled through the bond to him at the request that he may need help 'Like he said, you requested his help and then decide that you don't want it. Do you really see me as that much a hindrance? Or could it be that you're worried about having four people from the same guild assisting you?' he was already irked with the illusionist and this was making it that much worse as he dashed towards one of the elemental constructs he felt Maera fading 'Thank you for your help big sister.' he said in the personal link he had with his summons only to hear giggling in return, his hand going to dagger dragging it over the top of the hand holding the staff "Barthenz I'm calling in obligations to increase your speed and strength." he let the warrior know "Got it kid" he said as his speed increased thus his strikes becoming faster as seen by the constant barrage of hits he was dealing the two constructs that just couldn't keep up with him.

Rasparov would continue striking at them monsters they had come across, wishing the others would stop chatting and get on with the mission so they could carry on with other things, and listened in on what everyone was saying through the mind link that Ruvel had started up. It seemed one new member of the company wanted information on them, every one of them. Well, there was one way to stop that quick for the butler looking speed demon. "My name is Rasparov, ex-Rune Knight Special Forces. The rest is classified." The words would come across the mind link as he knocked over a batch of new enemies before barely escaping the attacking of wings from a griffin clad in golden armor. The creature was huge, larger than everyone here combined and seemed ready to take on every one of them if it needed to. Rasparov would strike at it a few time with his swords before going off to hit the other beings in the area before speaking through the mind link again. "Seems like the monster in charge here has reared his ugly head. Let's take down these lesser creatures and take this one out so we can call it a day." What he did not add to it was 'so that Ruvel does not die under the pressure of his summons' or 'so that the odd one out does not panic and attack them instead.' These would cause needless drama and put him at the center of attention for his personality, something he neither wanted nor could afford at the current time.

Johan had charged his way over to one of the skeletons and Oras knew that they were beginning to pick up pace.  People began to share with the stranger their names and abilities, but Oras was really distracted when Ruvel reacted to Oras' actions.  Instead of thanking him for the assistance, he reacted defensively, stating that he wasn't a cripple.  He then spoke of how Johan had asked why he had requested the man's assistance but wasn't acting with him, pushing forward mentioning how he was worried working with four people from the same guild assisting him.  He narrowed his eyes as he leaped over one of the skeletons.  Ruvel was acting like a child.  It was he who brought him into this, seemingly because he required assistance, but now he was looking for every reason to be upset, despite that this was not the time.  Before he could do or say anything however, Rasparov spoke next, giving his name and title and, like Oras, withheld his magic.  He then stated that the monster's leader had emerged, and that they should remove the weaker ones soon rather than later.  Agreed Rasparov.  Johan and I can cripple them.

Oras landed beside Johan and glanced at him through is visor.  "You're fast correct?  I'll let you decide whether to take front or follow behind.  We need to strike each monster in a way to immobilize them, or at least weaken them.  Five constructs.  Twenty two dragon giants.  Two Deinosuchus.  If we can weaken them, the others can sweep in and finish them off."  He'd wait for Johan to reply before they moved towards the monsters. Oras had already struck one construct, and each of the skeletons.  Whether Johan would take lead or follow Oras, he would make his way across the battlefield, he and his physical illusions slashing their daggers at the monster's weak points, and chinks in their armor.  He started with the constructs, charging at them, knowing where their mechanism was exposed thanks to his battle with the first one, and struck there, using his illusions to attack the others, and summoning up his non physical illusions to distract them enough for him and Johan to combat them easily.  Oras and his illusions eventually managed to damage all of their mechanisms, but it would take Johan's next strikes to truly weaken them.

With the elemental constructs handled, there were the dragon, or rather half dragon giants to handle next.

    Enemies hit by Oras:
    x5 Constructs
    All skeletons

    Enemies to be hit:
    x22 Half Dragon Giants
    x2 Resurrected Deinosuchus

Johann had listened to what the others said on the link that had been established between all of them, reacting with a smile to what Ruvel had to say, while slashing a wave of pressurized air at a stone construct, separating it's arm from it's body before moving on to the next targets. He quite liked the idea of Ruvel being a vice president to the West Fiore Trading Company. They continued by planning to take out the lesser monsters so they could complete their task and call it a day, and Johann agreed. There was no one who'd benefit from prolonging any of this, so he kept up his inhuman speed. "Well then, let's get to it"

"I would say so, good sir. I think It makes sense for me to charge ahead while you and your summons can take care of the crippled ones, the others can finish them off. Looks like we still have a lot of them to take down, good sir. Best not waste any time.". With that, Johann once more exploded into a stream of wind, slashing off the hand of a half dragon giant before compressing air into a grenade, throwing it at another giant. It exploded at the monster's torso, launching the beast off it's feet. He took a look over at how Verus was doing, seeing how he and what he thought to be summons attack several of the other monsters. He turned, seeing one of the half dragon giants storming towards him, his weapon ready. Johann was caught off guard and would barely manage to dodge when one of Verus' illusions struck the giant at the arm, causing it to stop its attack. Johann took the chance and stormed forward, his rapier piercing the beasts' shoulder with the full force of his speed, while sending a "Thank you!" to the man that called himself Verus. He turned, covering his arm in pressurized air, sending it out in a cone before himself only seconds later, inflicting cuts on every beast in the area.

"Damn you lot are secretive. I'm asking your magics to see if they can combine with my own for area attacks." Akryn growled through the telepathic link before an orb of wind formed under his feet and began to carry him across the battle field at a high speed, targeting the half giants in particular, darting between their legs and slashng at their ankles. "The Half Dragon giants are the smartest, other than the gryphon anyway. The skeleton beasts are big and tough but dumb, same with the elementals. They will be relatively easy pickings once we take the lizard heads down. I will work on dropping them to their knees, Ruvel, Rasparov, can you two target their heads once they are down? You other two, I don't think you will be cooperating very much will you." He said through the link as he darted back along the trail he had just taken, slashing at the other legs of the giants.

As most of the giants began falling down to the ground Akryn would move on to the elementals, running up the front of the nearest elemental, his sword dragging over its stone hide before he reached the top and slashed up across its face, leaping off of it as he did so nd spinning in the air to kick the elemental in the face, using it as a springboard for him to leap away. Akryn would slowly flip end over end as he went throw the air, throwing his shield out to the side as he did so, allowing it to bounce between the heads of various elementals, as Akryn went the other way, towards the large skeleton lizard. As he flew through the air a vicious snarl would escape his lips as he slashed his sword in the air before him, a long but thin wave of focused wind forming and then spreading rapidly. The focused wave of air slammed into the skeletons ribs, shattering several of them with Akryn coming in close behind, entering through the hole nd then punching out the other side with his sword, wind propelling him much like a rocket at this point, allowing him to change direction and aim towards a cluster of elementals, slamming into the first one and shving it back like a wrecking ball.

As Akryn rolled over the first elemental as it fell he would form a wind grenade in his hand, dropping it at the top of the elementals head as he leapt away, the wind grenade going off not long after, toppling several of the elementals and dealing nice damage to them as Akryn rushed towards the new group coming in, the gryphon lord being one of them. That thing was the real target of this fight, the ring leader. But before Akryn could attack him he would have to take on the approaching guards, another of those big skeleton lizard things as well as more of the two headed dragon giants. Akryn snarled to himself and forced more wind from his feet, rushing the giants first. One of them would bring up its club, intent on swatting Akryn down, an attack that Akryn easily avoided by sticking one leg out, the jetting wind forcing him to the side around the blow.  Soon enough he was back on course and rushing in once more, his sword coming up and slashing one of the draconic faces, with Akryn racing far up above the giant before rocketing back down, his feet colliding with the giants shoulder and causing it to collapse to one knee before Akryn rocketed away again, rushing in to the next giant, this time using his fist and punching the giant in the chest, producing a thunderous crashing sound, soon followed by another one and another and another, as Akryn began to pound the beasts chest, driving the wind from its lungs and toppling it, with Akryn coming down to land on its chest, the sword falling from the sky and landing in Akryns hand again as he glared up at the lumbering lizard like form.

Akryn whipped his arm forward, sending the sword out like a spear and letting it slam int the bottom of the beasts head, burying up to the hilt before Akryn followed shortly behind it, his feet slamming into the swords crossguard, forcing the sword up even further, the bone buckling under the force and the tip of the sword even sticking up through the roof of the mouth. Soon enough the sword would be sliding through the bone, rupturing the hard material and creating a long gouge in the bone, before the bone came in around the side, slashing out several of the beasts teeth before the armored form would follow out, smashing way the remaining teeth in that area, rushing down towards the gryphon, several blasts of wind escaping from Akryns hand as he flew and slamming into the beast before he would rapidly move away again.
