- Job Title: Lost Blades of Ca-Elum
Rank: B
Player Requirements: Must be a member of Fairy Tail. May only bring one partner and they must be a Guildmate.
Job Requirements: 8000 words. Must roll 6 Monster Dice. Must defeat the Strong or Boss enemy.
Job Location: Shadow Island
Job Description: Ca-Elum. A huge nation four times the size of Fiore, out in the middle of the Western Ocean. A chain of volcanic and carribean like islands, surrounding one gigantic continent; the best blacksmiths, both magical and non magical. Reside in this nation. Many a legend of angels blessing the forges of this land can be traced back even to ancient history.
A rumor, that one of the lost blades of Ca-Elum has been found. But it's not in Ca-Elum, or in the pits of hell somewhere in Sin; it's right here in our magical nation of Fiore. On Shadow Island or so word has it. The blades name is Fenrir. No one knows how old the Lost Blades are; or how many of them there are. Only that they were lost by the 1st Master Smith of Ca-Elum long ago. One of the lost blades, Clarent; is already lost and in the possession of Infinity Hydra, a Wizard's Guild in Fiore, Treasure Hunters around the world have been traveling to Shadow Island to search for the lost blade--where the rumors have led pretty much the entire world of bandits to scour the island.
The wildlife and indigenous creatures of Shadow Island; which is mostly forest and lakes that are covered by an endless night--have not taken kindly to the presence of so many Treasure Hunters on the island. The President and Master Smith of Ca-Elum has reached out to Fairy Tail personally, after the Guild helped recover their national treasure--the hammer Worldbreaker in the past. The President of Ca-Elum has asked that Fairy Tail help them recover the sword, Fenrir. Before another of their national treasures falls into the wrong hands. As the sword is an incredibly powerful magical blade; that could sway entire battles in it's favor. It is extremely dark on Shadow Island and unless you have some kind of light source from your Magic, you will only be able to barely see from the Moonlight and starlight above the forest. Listen out for enemies or rival treasure hunters. It's been rumoured that the legendary hunter, Harper Goldshine is even on Shadow Island looking for the legendary sword to claim it as his own.
Your Guildmaster has sent you to Shadow Island to recover the lost blade and take it back to Ca-Elum before it can fall into the hands of Treasure Hunters from around the globe.
Enemies:
Weak: Rookie Treasure Hunters x15 - Although they usually come in huge groups; they aren't the most experienced. They however, are very arrogant and will attack you when they figure out you're also looking for the legendary sword. Most of them are carrying weapons, but some of them will use their fists or martial arts on you. All their attacks deal D-Ranked damage. None of them use are mages but they can be dangerous if surrounded by them. They go down in one hit of C-Ranked damage each or two hits of D-Ranked damage each.
Normal: Veteran Treasure Hunters x5 - Older hunters who have traveled from all around Earthland to come to Fiore and find Shadow Island and the blade. These guys have bullets, and swords, and guns all over them; and all are wearing some kind of armored vests or some form of weaponry from their country. Wherever the heck they traveled from to find the blade. They deal B-Ranked damage with each hit of their weaponry after years of treasure hunting; they are also pretty fast and quick to move about and use the environment. Although they don't use Magic; they are veterans and have come across a wizard and mage or two in their day. Takes one hit of A-Ranked damage or two hits of B-Ranked damage each to defeat.
Strong: The Gem Brothers - A pair of young twins, blonde in hair color who both use Crystal-Make Magic like their teacher; Harper Goldshine. They aren't as skilled as he is; but can make anything from as small as a penny to an elephant with their Crystal-Make. They have excellent teamwork and will try to use their experience as a team against any opponents they come across. Takes 2 hits of A-Ranked damage each to defeat. Or 4 hits of B-Ranked damage each.
Boss: Harper Goldshine - A Treasure Hunter known all around Earthland for his prowess, wit, and skill. Wherever there are powerful artifacts or ancient pieces of history to be found; you'll find Harper. The legendary Hunter and Crystal Make wizard has found his way to Shadow Island in search of the mythical blade. He uses Crystal Make to perfection, and his skill with it is known around Earthland. Each hit from any of his creations deal A-Ranked damage. Everything from something as small as a penny to something as large as a house is within his power range. His Crystal-Make is incredibly fast, and he loves to use it in a lot of crazy ways--so be careful. He takes 4 hits of A-Ranked damage, or 8 hits of B-Ranked damage to defeat.
Reward: One Legendary Weapon, Armor, or Item forged for you by the blacksmiths from Ca-Elum for finding and returning the blade.

Another night of heavy drinking passed, and another hangover was about to begin. Sooner rather than later, much to the earth mage's dismay.
Currently, the small woman was curled up upon one of the wooden tables near the bar, loud snores that could be easily mistaken for animistic growls echoing through the office building that was known as the Fairy Tail guild hall. Meifeng would be lying, if she didn't say one of the main reasons she joined this particular guild was so she could get a free drink every once in a while. To the brunette, drinking was an essential part of her life that she did quite frequently. Fairy Tail seemed to recognize this, as they had their very own bar built straight into the hall. Of course, there were others reasons as to why she made the decision to join. Easy access to more jewels, a wider range of jobs to choose from, more contact with people who wished to travel the world just like herself. While in coming here, she hadn't known of guilds or what they were for, Mei was starting to realize it was actually quite nice to be in one. She was reminded a little of her tribe back home. In a way, these guild things were much like tribes. Though of course, they didn't all bathe together or have many of the ceremonies that made her tribe, well, a tribe. But in their own special ways, it was almost like a giant family. They had accepted her into their ranks quite easily, even if she did run up the drinking and food tab pretty high. Much like last night.
Having a strong want for a mug after taking her most recent job, when she finally got back to the guild last night she asked for a big glass in celebration. Then another glass. And another glasses. And the more glasses. Little to say, she ended up having way too much, even if she had a strangely high tolerance. The next few hours were a blur, and by the time the sun started to peek over the hills of Magnolia, the bear had passed out in a deep slumber. None of the early birds that entered the guild hall had the heart to move her, mostly out of pity and the potential threat of being beat up for distributing the bear-like girl. She had already demonstrated to them what her strength was like when she was disturbed, and honestly none of them felt like replacing the front doors again. So instead, she simply laid there in a sea of beer glasses, an open smile upon her lips as she rumbled deeply in her sleep. Bao rested under the table, snoring equally as loudly as the girl herself. He had not drank last night, as he was a panda and that wasn't really too good for their systems. But he wasn't about to let Mei go unsupervised in her condition. So he ended up sleeping there with her to keep an eye on the brunette until she woke up.

Ca-Elum. It had been never since his last journey to the archipelago of anvils, forges and metal. Even though that Mura could have benefitted from their superiority over the other nations in their handiwork and craftsmanship, he never found the occasion to travel over there. That was, until he noticed a piece of paper that many people were gathered around this morning. Upon his way to the guild hall, the scene interested him as he approached the paper on the light pole; it was a sort of exclamation about some new sword that was found here in Fiore, but on a hurry, he bothered not to read all what was written on the placate. Instead, he dismissed the place and sought to see who he would stumble onto once he entered the guildhall of Fairy Tail.
“A lost blade… hey, does the Guildmaster know? Maybe we should try and find it.”
“Well… no doubt that we would step into other people trying to find them as well.”
“And so what? They can try and ruin our treasure hunt-“
“A sword from Ca-Elum that is legendary even among them! What a spectacle!”
“… Y-You sure like your swords, metal meat.”
“I bet that Harusame will have a run for her money if she clashed against such a sword..!”
“Well, let’s see…”
It was a little expected. A guild was a place to drink, wasn’t it? However, the lady resting at the bar with more beer glasses than a fly’s amount of eyes. She was, figuratively, drowning in beer glasses at the moment as Mura moved over to her. That was when he noticed her companion alongside her as well, and given animals’ instinct to be aware of situations even when sleeping, he would move easily and appear as friendly as possible to the bear. It was first now that he noticed a familiar aura around Meifeng that he couldn’t help but compare to his own... huh. That was strange.
Or rather… that would be, until he bopped Meifeng’s head. Rise and shine, and Mura had luckily found a request paper on their board from their Guildmaster with the expected objective. It was time to go out on a mission for the two Fairy Mercs. “Mei, get ready,” he informed her calmly, “We’re going to Shadow Island.” The request paper would be laid on the table in front of her for the Earth wizard to take a look at, so that she wouldn’t accept the request blindly.
